AP Invoices Records Rejected but Error Table is blank

Hi,
I am uploading total 300 AP Invoices using following Interfaces:
ap_invoices_interface
ap_invoice_lines_interface
but only 22 invoices are being rejected.
But the tension is the ap_interface_rejections is blank.
how could I trace the errors?

I got the error. It's a Bug, following is the exact reference:
Bug 8739726: PAYABLES OPEN INTERFACE IMPORT 'REJECTS' THE RECORDS, BUT DOESN'T DISPLAY ERRORS

  • Copying the error records in a custom table

    Hi,
I  have a report program which is fetching Invoice header and line items . I need to copy the error records (records having a custom field ZZKUNNR as blank) in a custom table . I am executing this report in background daily .
The records in the custom table can be corrected by functional guys
Daily the report should fetch the data from SAP and also it should check whether there are correct records in the custom table .
If the records are found from custom table then those records also must be fetched.
Finally the output is stored in an application server .
Kindly help how to write the code for error records.

Hang on a moment here... I am sure we deleted your user ID a few months ago for ponits gaming!
Did it "pay off" somehow and now you have a "real job" but don't have a clue what you are doing?
Doesn't that make you feel just a little bit unconfident about life, the universe and ABAP?

  • Pricing error; ''Condition record exists, but has not been set''

    hello friends
we created the order (credit memo req), refer to this created the credit memo.
in the order one line item and only 2 condition records
    base price and tax (MWST)
in the order both conditions are coming and in the invoice it is not showing the condition (mwst)  and in the Analysis it is showing as ''Condition record exists, but has not been set''
    what would be the reason?
    regards
    siva

    Hi,
if both the condition types are showing in the order then you need to update pricing in billing because sometimes when u chnage any condtion value for base price after creation of order then system is not able to find valid condition record at billing document level.

  • Error adding new records in an user table

    Hi
I'm trying to add a new record in an user table, and after calling the add method I get the next error message:
"Generating this document requieres numbering to be determined for the document".
I've defined my user table as Master Data, and the source code is as follows:
    dim m_UserTable as SAPbobsCOM.UserTable
    m_UserTable = SboCompany.UserTables.Item(UserTable)
    m_usertable.Code = NewValue
    m_usertable.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_FIELD1").Value = NewValue
    if m_userTable.add() <> 0 then
      SboCompany.GetLastError(lngError, strerror)
      SboApplication.MessageBox(strerror)
    end if
    Thanks and Best Regards
    Dani

    Hi Dani,
when you create a user Table as "Master Data", this table becomes a part of a UDO (User Data Object) that you have to create too.
In the version 2004A, you don't have the possibility to enter information in these kind of table using the DI. You can only do it thru the application.
You can look at a post called "Access to UDO via DI" posted 16th December 2004

I dropped my mac pro. The disc drive plays but will not record. medium drive error. How hard is it to replace the drive my self. i see screws on the bottom. Could I just order a new internal drive and replace it? Or is it too complicated for the average person? Would be cheaper to buy an external drive than to replace internal one? Any advice is appreciated

How certain are you the superdrive ONLY is at fault?
That depends on your skill level, if you grew up tearing things apart and putting them together, its absurd how easy it is.
For some however its too daunting.   On a general skill level for the "average" person its about a 3 out of 10 in difficulty.
    Can you order same? yes.

So that user can have access only for Display & New entries & not for changing existing entries.
    Can anybody help me.

    Hi,
Create a Ztcode for the the table in the transaction se93 with option Transaction with parameters.
Tick the check box skip the initial screen.
    In Default values ,

    Hi,
I have not tried to implement what has been said in the link, this link I had got from one of the replies in this forum.
One more approach you can try
For each of the object in OWB you can create data rules. There is a set of built-in data rules and also you can create your own set of data rules.
Once you have created these data rules on the fields of the table, you can deploy this table into your target schema. In the database, an error table is created for the table object.
Now when you use this table as a target in a mapping, click over the target table operator you will find the data rules node. Expand the node corresponding to the data rules for which you want error logging and then select 'MOVE TO ERROR' as Rule action.
Deploy the target table object and the mapping and execute it. Hopefully the rejections due to rule violations should get logged into error table, if you have set the Rule Action appropriately.

  • URGENT:how to get the error table populated in ODI

    Hello all,
I am working on an interface of ODI where mapping is from a XML file to the database tables. I want, when there is any bad data (having length size greater than the target table's column length or data type mismatch) the bad data should get rejected or separated.
I am using LKM, CKM, and IKM knowledge modules, but the erroneous record is not getting populated in even in the error table.
when I try to insert lets say 4 records and 2nd record is erroneous then it is only inserting the 1st record. i want that the erroneous record should get inserted in the error table.
Please suggest, if anybody is having any related information to get this done. That would be really helpful.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Phil,
    Thanks for your update.
The option which you have mentioned having cloumn as char 4000, I can not do that as my target tables are seeded tables.
I have also tried to get the data atleast in C$ tables having their length as varchar 4000. but it is not allowing to insert in C$ tables also.
In my case I am getting data for ex: date_of_birth in VARCHAR datatype from the source XML and I have converted it ot DATE while mapping it to target column having DATE as the datatype.
what if the DATE in xml source is invalid? its giving me the error while execution "Invalid datetime format". how would I identify that this error is for a particular record. If I can get this erroneous record atleast in C$ table I can find a work around for this correction then.
I hope you have solution for this problem :)
    Thanks.

  • How to record the records deleted in a table

    Hi Experts
I want to run a report as a batch which should deleted the records
which are sysdate - 60 and The report should log the number of records deleted
from each table at End Of Run.
Criteria for selecting records to be deleted are as follows:
    1.     ZINT_DATA
    u2022     ZINT_DATA.CREATED_ON <= (Today u2013 60 Days)
                   and ZINT_DATA.STATUS = u2018OKu2019
So I want to create a table for log history recorded as
    Delete Date         Log description
    01.01.2008        1500 rows deleted
    30.03.2008        2000 rows deleted.
    30.04.2008        300  rows deleted.
    Eg The table are ZINT_DATA.
    The report starts like this
    REPORT z_eslp_command.
    DATA:
      fs_zint_data TYPE zint_data.
    DATA:
      t_zint_data TYPE
              TABLE OF
                      ZINT_DATA.
    START-OF-SELECTION.
    SELECT *
       FROM ZINT_DATA
INTO TABLE t_ZINT_DATA PACKAGE SIZE 10000.
    ENDSELECT.
    LOOP AT t_zint_data INTO fs_zint_data.
    INSERT INTO ZINT_DATA_DEL
          VALUES fs_zint_data.
    select count(*) from zint_data_del.
    ENDLOOP.
    IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
      WRITE:
'DATA INSERTED FROM ZINT_DATA into ZINT_DATA_DEL'.
    ENDIF.
But Instead of creating another table , I want only log to be recorded as described.
    Thanks

  • DML error table intermittently fails to generate error handling in package

    Hi!
In OWB 11gR2 (11.2.0.1), we're seeing an issue when setting the DML Error table name on a target table. Sometimes, mostly on older and complex mappings, the error handling logic does not get generated when we deploy the mapping, and nothing is populated in the error tables for error conditions, though the errors display as warnings in the OWB UI.
When I create a new mapping that is very simple - one table loading another - setting the DML Error table name always results in errors being put in the error table. That's great, but that doesn't help us with our more-complex mappings that aren't logging errors.
We can't determine the cause of the issue. I can't see a difference in the configuration of the mappings that work and don't work. Generation Mode is All Operating Modes. Default Operating Mode is Set based fail over to row based. We've generated the error table using DBMS_ERRLOG.CREATE_ERROR_LOG. The target tables do not have primary keys.
I've tried synchronizing the target table operator in the mapping as another forum thread suggested. No change.
Has anyone else seen this issue or know of a workaround?
    Thanks,
    Jayce

Which logic did you talk about ?
For the version 10, you will find the error table more on the insert statement such as:
    INSERT INTO "TSALES"
      ("PROD_ID",
      "SALES"."AMOUNT_SOLD" "AMOUNT_SOLD"
    FROM
      "SALES"  "SALES"
LOG ERRORS INTO TSALES_ERR (get_audit_detail_id) REJECT LIMIT 50;Come from here:
    http://blogs.oracle.com/warehousebuilder/2007/08/set_based_errors_dml_error_log.html
Then check the insert SQL generated.
    Cheers
    Nico
