APACHE SSL: Problem in converting from HTTP to HTTPS

Hi,
I have installed apache on my system with openSA flavour with SSL.I need to host my site with https instead of http.While starting apache i get the following error:
[warn] pid file c:/opensa/apache/logs/httpd.pid overwritten -- Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run?
OpenSA/1.0.4 /Apache/1.3.27 (Win32) PHP/4.2.2 mod_gzip/1.3.19.1a DAV/1.0.3 running...
OS is windows vista.
Please revert back for solution to the problem.

Problems when converting from pdf to word

I am a translator and I get most of my work in pdf files. So I convert the pdfs into words to be able to change the text and edit. However, when dcuments are converted from pdf to word I have found they become very unstable and difficult to work with to the point I usually end up not using the coverted file. Is there any place I can go for training about what to do with those documents? Can anyone relate to this problem?

Abobe v8: Problems with converting from word 2003 to PDF

I use one of those free conversion tools, since i am a student. My problem is that i have a word document with a unique page margin. When i convert from word 2003 to pdf everything gets converted except the page margin which is much bigger then it's supposed to be. Do anyone know how i can fix that?, any help are appriciated.

used to create your pdf, please ask in their forum.

Encountered problem when converting from development to runtime environment

1. I ran apxdevrm.sql switch my environment to runtime. Although it seemed to finish successfully, this error was in the log and according to registry, my installation was invalidated(still works though).
drop package wwv_flow_create_flow_api (doesn't seem to exist)
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-04043: object WWV_FLOW_CREATE_FLOW_API does not exist
Entry in dba_registry:

2. Next, not sure if it had made the switch, I then ran apxdvins,sql to revert back because of problem #1. (later found out that it was still devl environment)
This time, this message appeared in log...

(Installation still invalid)
Any ideas?

1. Commented "drop package" stmt out on apexdevrm.sql to get rid of non-existent package problem. (probably holdover from v3.0)
2. purged dba_recyclebin to get rid of problem #2.
Dba_registry entry still shows as INVALID... Has anyone else encountered these problems when switching from dev to runtime? (or vice-versa)

Query Problem when converting from access to Mysql

I am trying to get a small application to work with a mysql
db. The original
db is access, for some reason I am getting an error now that

I don't know the answer but, it might be that using
createdate is not sufficient. Try wrapping that date into either a
cfqueryparam or createodbcdate.
Something else to bear in mind when switching db's is that
they don't all have the same functions. I don't use mySql so I
don't actually know, but I'd be checking the manual to make sure it
has a day function.
Not a syntax, but a potential logic error is that you are
using a function called day to create an alias called theprevmonth.
At the very least, it's misleading and might confuse you later
on.

WebLogic Apache bridge problems on uploading large files via HTTP post

I have a problem uploading files larger than quarter a mega, the jsp
page does a POST
to a servlet which reads the input stream and writes to a file.
Configuration: Apache webserver 1.3.12 connected to the Weblogic 5.1
application server
via the bridge(mod_wl_ssl.so) from WebLogic Service pack 4.
The upload goes on for about 30 secs and throws the following error.
"Failure of WebLogic APACHE bridge:
IO error writing POST data to 100.12.1.2:7001; sys err#: [32] sys err
msg [Broken pipe]
Build date/time: Jul 10 2000 12:29:18 "
The same upload(in fact I uploaded a 8 MEG file) using the
Netscape(NSAPI) WebLogic
connector.
Any answers would be deeply appreciated.

Apache Compilation Problem: makes pointer from integer without a cast -HELP

Every time I try to compile apache with ssl I get this error message below. I'm pulling my hair out over it! I've installed current versions of gcc, libgcc, glib, make, m4, & flex.. which havent helped. I am running Solaris 9 sparc.

Image size problem after converting from Managed files to Referenced files.

I recently moved to Referenced files for all my images. I use a plug-in (Graphic Converter 8.8.2) to resize all images to a consistent size (1440 pixels wide, landsacpe format) for a web app that I use (Sandvox). With Referenced files, when I drag and drop the externally processed image, it shows up at exactly one-half the correct size (720 pixels). As a test, doing exactly the same opeartion with an Aperture library utilizing managed files, there is no problem...it works as expected.
As a temproray work-around, I found that instead of dragging and dropping, I use the Aperture Export function, everything is correct. This is not really what I want to do because I have a lot of images to process.
This is Aperture 3.5 and Mavericks, but the problem was there with with Aperture 3.4 and OS 10.7.5.

Thank you for the suggestion and running the test. I changed the Preview settings to 1440, and then 2560 and finally, Don't Limit. Quit and relaunch Aperture between each setting. No luck.
But you gave me a hint: maybe the problem has to do with the images being first Managed and then moved to Referenced files. So I tried one that has never been a Managed file and everything works correctly! Don't know if this is a bug or a feature.
Mystery solved, but I still have a lot of images to reprocess.

Problem when converting from spool to XLS file

Hey.
I need to get table data from the spool and send it by mail in an xls file.
so this is what i have done:
I have used the FM 'RSPO_RETURN_ABAP_SPOOLJOB' to get the data table from the spool.
then i am sending the data table in an xls file via the FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1'.
the problem is that the xls file that i am getting through the mail is defected.
All the contents of the spool is located in the first row, first column.
How can i fix it?

Client Socket Problem: retrieving data from my Simple http Server...

here's the main part of the "sending" of data from my server class:

outtStream.write(version.getBytes());

here the server sends the data back to the client...i've tested this on a webbrowser and got a correct response...
now in my client side, I'm having problems...
1) I dont know how to retrieve the data from the outStreams above...
2) Can anyone give me some help plz...or descriptive sample code

Reg Add problem. Convert from .reg to reg add script

Hi. I'm making a registry script so I can add elements to the registry.
The script is working for DWORDS but I cant get the last one to work.
The registry exportet code I wan't to make a Reg ADD line from is:

Its the "\" that's get messy, don't know how to write reg Add line with that.
If I skip that line the script works, I can then run the .reg file above to complete the reg. settings, but that won't solve my problem.

Those backslashes just indicate line continuations in the .reg file. You don't need them in your reg add version; the binary data can be placed all on one line.
If I remember correctly, you don't need the commas when using "reg add" either, so just this should work. I've used environment variables here to split it up across multiple lines and make it more readable, but that's not actually required:
set REGKEY="hku\temp\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\BrowserEmulation\ClearableListData"

Problem while Converting from PDf To XML

By using interactive adobe forms i have
done an application which has four text fields binded with data
using Data Source property of interactive form through webdynpro.
Now when iam trying to get the XML format of this PDF form
located at server , i am getting a Exception as follows

Problems after converting from 1.3SE to 1.4SE

I have a very vexing problem that I need some help with.
When I run my program using SDK 1.4, weird problems crop up -- controls don't always respond to clicks (they seem to be pressed but are not released), the menu fonts are oversize/accelerators are not displayed, table column headings are separated by a small gap, etc. These problems do not occur when I run under 1.3.
Any suggestions are muchly appreciated.

I know the feeling. Especially with 1.4.1, which if you read down through these reports, is not working very well. In 1.4 they rewrote the "focus handler" and that apparently has introduced a huge number of problems. I've given up on 1.4 as it is now and I'm using - with some degree of success 1.3.1_02 (the current one is 1.3.1_06).

Exchange Converts embedded link to http when Sending to External Recipients

Hello:
We use a product called ProjectWise internally. One of the features is to embed the link to a ProjectWise document in the body of an e-mail and send it to other users. When ProjectWise embeds the link, it is in the format:
pw://path_to_file
Obviously, this is very similar to the http format. The pw:// link allows the file to be opened natively in the ProjectWise software.
Here's the issue:
When sending to other INTERNAL users, the link flows through correctly. However, when it is sent to an EXTERNAL user, the link is converted from pw:// to http:// and is useless.
We can even send the same email to both Internal and External users, the Internal users receive correctly, the External users receive the converted link.
I am thinking that Exchange is somehow modifying the link when sending to external, but I can't find anything on it.

Base on my knowledge, by default, exchange system does not modify the content of the email, except you create some transport rule.
Do external user use exchange ? or any other email system?
In addition, the format of "pw://" is only useful for internal, when you open the "pw://" link from internet, Browse may automatically converted the link to "http://".

SSL is enabled in WLS 9.2 and its wrkng fine. And iam able to access login page in secure(https)mode. After this page i need to convert the url from https mode to http. For enabling https i added some code in web.xml. For switchinng https to http i dn't knw anythng.

Export it from iPhoto. This process will make a QuickTime movie of it. That will play on an PC that has QuickTime installed - and that's a free download for PC, and comes with iTunes for PC
