Apache-Tomcat: "ServletException" when too much user requests

I have the following error, without an aparent cause, I'am sure this is not a programming error, because this doesn't happen without Apache (Tomcat standalone).
javax.servlet.ServletException:

I think that this happens when Apache reaches max server limit, and it causes the following error:
[jk_ajp13_worker.c (325)]: Error ajp13_process_callback - write failed.
Any suggestions?

I m not sure this will not work BUT try it ...............
IF u r using mod_webapp then.....
In server.xml file for the Tomcat look for this
<!-- Define an Apache-Connector Service -->
<Service name="Tomcat-Apache">
<Connector className="org.apache.catalina.connector.warp.WarpConnector"
port="8008" minProcessors="5" maxProcessors="75"
enableLookups="true" appBase="webapps"
acceptCount="10" debug="0"/>
and try to increase maxProcessors number suitable to you in above settng ... Restart the Tomcat

  • How to send notification when too many users connected

    Hello,
    If you create an object that implements javax.servlet.http.HttpSessionBindingListener,
    you can define valueBound and valueUnbound methods. I usually call it a User class. Also you
    can have a static int, counter, in this class, which is accessible by all
    classes (make it public or create increment, decrement and getValue methods). In
    the valueBound method, get it to increment the static int, in valueUnbound call
    decrement).
    Now in the JSP pages, at the top, check if the User object exists in the Session
    scope. If it doesn't, create one and add it to the Session. This will
    automatically call the valueBound on that object and increment the counter. When
    a persons session expires, or the User object is removed from the session, the
    valueUnbound is automatically called and the counter decrements.
    I usually make this check a seperate JSP page which I include on all the other
    pages. Then all you need to do is get the User.counter value at any time to see
    how many people are on the system.
    Hope it helps

  • BO XI3.1 servicepack 6 with Apache Tomcat 6/7

    We are planning to upgrade BO XI 3.1 sp5 to servicepack 6.
    SAP recommends to upgrade Apache Tomcat 5.5 too (to version 6 or 7)
    Our IT-department wants to know if, when you install SP6, Apache Tomcat 6/7 is also automatically installed (Does AT 6/7 come with SP6) , or is it two separate installations?
    I think it is the last option, am I right?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
    you have to possibilities here:
    1. Install it manual as in SAP Note - 1880756
    2. Install it with the SP06 Update. Here it is only available when using the CLI variant, not the GUI Variant. See SAP Note - 1844998
    If i where you, i would choose the second option.

  • Active users request taking too much time

    Hello,
    every time i run "active users" request it take about 40 minutes and errored out the following
    X connection to aixtst01:1.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
    any idea?

    Sounds like you've switched the output of Active Users from Text to PDF or Postscript... an your X Server is not working. Try changing the output back to Text on the Concurrent Program Definition for Active Users. Or get your X Server up and running.

  • Request for too much memory???

    I get an error message
    Request for too much memory, will hang forever.
    That sounds like a long time. Will it's still hanging. Any ideas?

    The DOM does take up some memory if you use it, but if you're just parsing that XML doc on startup and storing the values you want to add to each session, I'd argue that it's not a problem. Do it in the servlet init() method once and for all and store the values you want. You don't have to use DOM to manage that - do it with SAX and don't create and store a DOM tree if you're that worried about it.
    (68KB for the XML doc + DOM memory overhead) * 50 users = ?
    Do an experiment and find out exactly how much memory you're talking about. Compare that to the amount of memory you'll have available and see how many users it'll be a problem for. Don't go by hearsay - I'd recommend a scientific approach. Measure it and decide for yourself. - MOD

  • Solved printer installation problem – "error-user-request-value-too-long"

    A discussion in July 2006 left the problem of printer installation unsolved. My contacts with Apple Support have also led to frustration for everyone.
    Whenever I have tried to install any printer I end up with the error message:
    "error-user-request-value-too-long".
    Luckily I discovered the shareware program "Printer set up repair" on Versiontracker. It worked wonders in 5 minutes. Now everything is fully functioning. It also provides an extremely useful log-file telling you which (often hidden) files that are missing or damaged.
    Address: www.fixamacsoftware.com/software
    Phew!

    Well, I tried all of that and I'm still getting the error message. I've also repaired disk permissions and run Disk Warrior. When I repaired disk permissions, many HP printer items showed up in the list.

    Hello for all.
    First, I am going to tell you technical specifications about the software where I have deployed BI Publisher:

    Hi,  from the last two days my iphone( iphone 4 with ios 5) have very slow to open the apps and very slow when i check the notification window , it taking too much time to open when i tap to down . help me to resolve the issue.

    The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
    Restart... Reset... Restore...
    iPhone Reset
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
    Try this First... You will Not Lose Any Data...
    Turn the Phone Off...
    Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
    Wait for the Apple logo to Appear and then Disappear...
    Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
    Release the Buttons...
    Turn the Phone On...
    If that does not help... See Here:

  • My iphone 4s crashes too much the screen became black slowly and restart the phone this happens when i use anything safari phone messages i think i am having big problem i hope someone help me

    I cant use the iphone its useless now :S i think its a software problem but i restored it many times

    I suffer same.  AppleCare can't seem to solve the problem.  I did a restore from backup. Then I did a restore as new phone (virgin). Then I did a restore as a new device and then backed up from a stored backup (which does not replace media).  To no avail.  Some days it works fine, and on others it's extremely bothersome. The major symptoms:
    1. It can take 5+ seconds to delete a photo.
    2. It can take 10+ seconds for the camera app to activate. In many instances, the moment is long gone.
    3. Switching from camera to video can take 5+ seconds.
    4. Saving a photo that's been optimized in iOS 5 can take 30 seconds. Absurd.
    Note that Photos and Camera aren't the only affected applications. What'sApp can have the same issues on occasion. Voice Memos don't respond like they should, either.  I suspect that there's some behind-the-scenes operations with network feed to which iOS gives its full attention (contrary to the UX getting full attention is is historically the case). This makes the user interface painfully slow at times — and, as most of us here would agree — painfully annoying.  This might have to do with changes designed around iCloud, but I'm not even (yet) using it.
    The bottom line is that what used to be a quick, pretty good phone camera is now totally lackluster and unreliable for fast shots.  Sometimes I think Apple spends too much time worrying about form and not enough about function.

    I am having a problem when I plug my iPod into my macbook. When I plug the cable into my mac I get the following message - "Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, your USB device has been disabled." CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

    The rest of the message in the pop up window says "To prevent damaging your computer, the USB device drawing too much power has been disabled. Other devices may have also been disabled. When you disconnect the device drawing too much power, your other USB devices will be enabled again."

  • Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your USB devices have been disabled. This shows up even when I am not connected to a USB. what do you think the problem is?

    Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your USB devices have been disabled. - This is what shows up sometimes even when no USB is connected. What could be the reason?

    Try a different USB cord, seen this many many times, its highly likely a damaged USB cord.
    Restart the computer to redefine Port definition.  If still a problem
