APARTMENT NUMBERS!! DELIVERY EXCEPTION!!

I live in a townhouse and DID enter my unit number on both of my orders. I just checked fedex (even though it says out for delivery, my OCD got the best of me) and good thing I did because it says there's a DELIVERY EXCEPTION for no unit number!
I called Fed Ex and they said they can't change it- verizon has to! So I called Verizon *611 and they've updated it, but it has to go to their shipping department and it can take 24-48 hours!!!!!!!!!!! She said it's usually faster, but that's what they have to say!! {word filter avoidance}
So, I'm going to give fed ex a check in about 1/2 hour and hopefully it'll update in time. Otherwise, guess I'll be SOL until I can get to the fedex location to pick it up! Ugh! SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW!!!
So if you had apartment # issues on your order, you may want to call fedex to make sure they have it and if not get on the horn to Verizon to update it ASAP.

  • Anyone else have an iPhone 4 with 'Delivery Exception'

    One of my 4 iPhone 4 orders is actually on a FedEx truck 'out for delivery', but it will not be delivered today because of a 'delivery exception'. It will stay on the truck until tomorrow, the official release date. Any else experiencing this??

    Scratch that...
    They still delivered it. I left a 'pre-sign' form and it was waiting for me at home. Hoping my other 3 orders get delivered tomorrow.

  • Error numbers for exceptions

    We start to use error numbers for the exceptions.
    If a user gets a error he can tell the error number to the help desk.
    The messages are quite like the ones from Oracle: "ORA-02449:
    unique/primary keys in table referenced by foreign keys"
    We have multilingual users. Maybe its too much to expect from them to read an English message and tell it the help desk man. So we have numbers.
    But these numbers need to be organized, guide lines have to be written and obeyed for this. I don't see the benefit of these error codes.
    Besides this, Java doesn't seem to provide this feature, so it seems to be unimportant or at most "nice to have".
    What do you think about it?

    The ResourceBundle stuff is there to support applications.in multiple languages. On the basis of an error code or some other token (key) the program can pick the appropriate error message. (Not that as if you could not do it yourself.)
    java.util.ResourceBundle
    java.util.PropertyResourceBundleThe applications I write are either in one-language or the several languages are supported through other means (separate Velocity templates and the like), but out of curiosity I transformed a little pure Java hobby application to support several languages with the help of this ResourceBundle stuff and it worked fine.
    I put the propertiy files into the jar containing the application:
    thw.properties thw_fr.properties thw_ge.properties thw_hu.properties
        final static ResourceBundle bundle = getBundle("thw");
        static ResourceBundle getBundle(String name) {
         String language     =System.getProperty("language");
         String country     =System.getProperty("country");
         String variant     =System.getProperty("variant");
         java.util.Locale locale = null;
         try     {
              locale=new java.util.Locale(language);
              if (DEBUG) System.out.println(locale);
              locale=new java.util.Locale(language,country);

              locale=new java.util.Locale(language,country,variant);
              if (DEBUG) System.out.println(locale);
         catch (Exception e) {
         if (locale==null) return ResourceBundle.getBundle(name);
         return ResourceBundle.getBundle(name,locale);

  • How to Handle RFC delivery exception (rfcClientException) in XI?

    I have a following scenario.
    I have an outbound soap interface (sender) and inbound RFC(receiver). When the soap message is posted it goes to receiver where it has to execute the RFC. It tries to convert the XML to RFC and throws the following exception.
    com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: error while processing message to remote system:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.client.RfcClientException: could not convert request from XML to RFC:com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$ConversionException: (122) JCO_ERROR_CONVERSION: Date 'xxxx-xx-xx' has a wrong format at field CREAT_DATE: Unparseable date: "xxxx-xx-xx
    I defined the fault message and attached it to the Inbound Interface. I also defined the mapping of receiver exception message to fault message. I am expecting a fault message back to sender which is not happening.
    When I go to moni and try to look for the error in the response message I see the following.
    <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">

    <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
    <SAP:Stack />
    <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
    </SAP:Error>
    I am suspecting that since the fault message does not contain this structure it's not able to build it.
    How do I handle such runtime exception and transfer it to sender system. Any help would be greatly apperciated.

    I have the same problem. The error is as follows:

  • How to create outbound delivery except bapi BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC

    Hi,
    I have a problem with bapi BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC.
    I use this bapi to create outbound delivery from delivery due list. But there is no shipping point as a parameter in this function module. So if there is two shipping point in a sales order, only one delivery is created for only one shipping point. How can I solve this problem.
    Or Can I create outbound delivery from a sales order with using bapi ?
    Thanks.

    I think(It's strictly my opinion), if a suitable serial number profile is maintained in plant/material then this assignment should happen automatically!!
    **You gotta refer to a functional consultant. I am not very sure..

  • Cant add addresses with Floor/Apartment numbers when creating Calendar Events in Yosemite

    When you create an event in Calendar, there's a field for adding the event address. Previously, when you tried to add an address like Level 2, 23 Sample Street, Melbourne, Calendar would prompt you with the nearest address that it found in Apple Maps. If you clicked the selection, it would add a Map to your event. If you didn't, or simply hit escape, it did nothing.
    Now in Yosemite, the Calendar completely ignores your choice and automatically replaces your address with the address it thinks is correct. So for example, if you type in an address like Level 2, 23 Sample Street, Melbourne and it finds the street address within Apple maps, it simply replaces your address with 23 Sample Street, Melbourne, completely removing the Level or Apartment number that you typed in as part of the address.
    The only way I've found around this is to completely mangle the address by typing something like Level 2 - 23 Sample Street - Melbourne, which is obviously completely annoying and unsatisfactory.
    If anyone has another suggestion or a way to fix this, I'd love to hear.
    Cheers,
    Anthony.

  • Beware of iPhone 4S "Delivery Exceptions" from FedEx Today!

    Hi there --
    I'm a new iPhone 4S Verizon subscriber -- a refugee from AT&T.
    If your iPhone hasn't arrive yet -- this could be the reason why:
    http://urbansemiotic.com/2011/10/14/fedex-fs-ups-iphone-4s-delivery/
    [fixed broken link]

    The two iPhone 4S were just delivered.
    It was my regular FedEx guy.  He looked really worn out.  He is always good to me, as I am to him, so I know he got here as fast as he could.  He did say there were a lot of iPhones left to deliver.
    Setting up the phones via iCloud backup was a breeze.  Verizon activation was quick.  Beautiful phones.  Definitely worth the wait and the angst.  SMILE!

  • RFC  to SOAP Scenario -- Delivery Exception

    Hi All,
    I am working on RFC to SOAP scenario.
    On executing a program in the SAP system, the system is throwing a dump stating                                                   "com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: invalid content type for SOAP: TEXT/HTML".
    I feel that the error is because of the response not being sent back by the webservice. On executing the webservice independently, it is working fine i.e. sending back the response.
    Can anyone suggest the possible reasons for this error and what needs to be done to rectify this?
    Thanks,
    Ravi Kiran

    the return from the Web service must have been an HTML(may be an error page or something)...What kind of authorization does this WS look for ?

  • Receiver SOAP - Delivery Exception

    Hi,
    My scenario is RFC to SOAP.
    The problem is in SOAP receiver adpater.
    The url and all connection parameters are correct and the scenario is working fine.
    But some times the response from SOAP service is like
    <SAP:AdditionalText>com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed; HTTP 200 OK</SAP:AdditionalText>
    The SOAP server is running all the time.
    Is it due to connection problem?
    Any idea?

  • Numbers won't open documents in Mountain Lion.

    I have a Mid 2011 Mac Mini that shipped with Mountain Lion. I installed iWork from the original DVD and ran software updates to get the latest release. The apps launch, but will not open any of my iWork documents. I get the following errors in the  logs:
    8/13/12 5:22:44.903 PM Numbers[6566]: Exception opening document: *** -[NSConcreteData initWithContentsOfFile:options:error:]: nil file argument
    8/13/12 5:22:44.904 PM Numbers[6566]: Failed to open document, but no unrecoverable error
    And I sometimes get the following error on screen "The document "document name" could not be opened." note "document name" is actually the name of the document I am trying to open.
    I've uninstalled the application manually, and with AppZapper on 3 seperate occasions, making sure to clear out any preference files, empty the trash and reboot afterwards. Then reinstalled and ran updates after logging back in, but to no-avail. If I try to open the template viewer I get these errors in the log.

    Pages and Keynote seem to have the same issue, I can't create new documents or open exitsing ones. I can keep uninstalling and reinstalling, but that doesn't seem to be the correct path. Anyone have any ideas?

    I ended up finding a solution on my own. I re-uninstalled the iWork apps, deleting the apps, preferences and library\application support\iWork folder at the root of the Macintosh HD. After a restart, reinstalled the iWork software from my DVD. I then manually downloaded and installed the iWork 9.2 upgrade from Apple, http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1563 , instead of using the App Store software update method. Once completed, I ran permissions repair for good measure, though nothing was repaired. Launched and the apps are working as expected.

  • I can't get the page numbers in my table of contents to update when I update the book.

    I'm using Framemaker 11 and I have two TOCs in my book: one in English and one in French. Each TOC links to different documents in the same book. The reference page for each TOC is set and correctly displays the heading 1 and 2 I've told it to display, but the numbers do not update when the content in my document files changes to a different page. I've checked the conditional text settings in my document files; they are correct. When I update the book, I choose to update Numbering, All Cross-References, All Text Insets, OLE Links, Generate Table of Contents, Lists, and Indexes. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

    I just tested this out and saw the same result as Rick - a book with child books ignores all generated files within the child books. This applies to adding content from them (e.g. their titles) to actually including them in the output. This applies to all versions of FM since v.9!
    However, there is a workaround for this. You need to use the hierarchical book structure in the parent book and create Folders for each book that you want to add. Then manually add the generated files (TOC, IX, List of..., etc.) and book to the respective folder. This is what it looks like for two child books in a parent book:
    Note that the child book generated files (TOC, IOR) show as just regular files at this point in the parent book. To get the page numbering to be continuous throughout the parent book, you will need to make a couple of passes. First set folder, files and books to have the Numbering continue from the previous (if you want all sequential page numbers). This will set the page numbers correctly except for what they were in the respective book TOCs. You will need to use the starting page number of the child TOC files in each folder (it shows in the Book status bar when click on the TOC file in the master/parent book).
    To set the individual book TOCs to be correct in the parent book, open the child book and set the TOC Numbering to start at the page stated in the parent book (status bar). Now update the child book to set the correct (parent book) page numbers in the child TOC. [This is a necessary manual step, as the page number assigned in the parent book is ignored when th child book is individually updated and FM uses 1 to start off the sequence in the child book.]  Repeat for each child book in the master/parent book.
    The final step is to Update the parent book and create the PDF. You should now have all of the files included in the PDF and the child TOCs should show the correct page numbers of the master book.
    This whole process of books within books seems a bit borked and one shouldn't have to be jumping through hoops to include child generated files. Please report this as a bug via: https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm

  • Exception Handling in JDBC Receiver

    Hi,
      We have  a scenario WS to JDBC synchronous. If we inserting the same value we got the unique
      constraint error in sxmb_moni level.But the WS response contains delivery exception error. But we
      need the Actual error in the response.
      How can get this?
      Any suggestions..
    Regards,
    Prakasu

    hi gabriel,
      I think serializable use for sending data to the DB in a serialized queue.
      AutoCommit used for when the data is inserted or updated in a Database it will commit the records.
      Disconnect from database used for when our transactions over the chennel disconnect to the database.
      But for my reuirement is when we inserted the same record or some varations in the record(like if DB have
      the field (number) But we passed the value in Char) that time DB send a Application error response to the
      XI server.
      We are using WS to JDBC.
      The error we can see in sxmb_moni.But the response of WS have simply "Delivery Exception system
      error". So with out seeing the sxmb_Moni message we dont know the exact error.So we need the
      "DB Application error" response in the WS response.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Prakasu
