Aperture won't see connected droid phone?
When I connect my droid phone, the Aperture program opens. However, no files appear in the import screen - it's just blank. How do I get the Aperture program to see the files on the phone so they can be imported? I already updated my Aperture program to the latest version...
Probably should add that I want the Vista machine to print and see the connected hard drives. Can't see them but it does see the other machines.

Went from 8320-8310, now my desktop software won't see my new phone?
Hey guys,
I recently had my 8320 (t-mobile) stolen and bought an unlocked 8310. I got a new sim card, went through that all and now I am trying to connect my phone to my desktop software (4.7) and it won't recognize the thing. The phone also says it isn't getting sufficient current to charge... I have tried resetting my phone, restarting my computer, switching cords.... any ideas how I can fix this? I want to restore my contacts and other info to my new phone.

SeanMy next suggestion would be to disconnect your BB and USB, and reboot the PC from powered off.
Do the same with the BlackBerry device.
Then, reconnect the BB to the USB, and THEN, try to connect.

OVI suite won't connect any phone
I'm having a regular issue with OVI suite; it won't recognise any phone connected to the PC!
When this happens, which is quite often, the PC recognises a device being attached (the usual USB jingle), the phone recognises the connection, even OVI Player recognises the phone just fine; but OVI suite won't. Connect new phone picks up nothing.
It happened with my old N85 and does with my new C7. I now have version 3.1.0.86 but it happened with previous versions too.
The only way I've found to "wake it up" is to repair the installation in Wondows control panel, it then works fine. In fact I just updated to veriosn 86 today but that new installation didn't work till after I'd repaired it!
I have XP SP3 installed.
I realise this could be a PC issue not an OVI suite one but how come OVI player works fine so I can load music etc?
Any ideas anyone please? Repeated "repairs" are getting annoying!!

1. Uninstall Ovi Suite, PC Connectivity solution and Nokia Connectivity cable drivers from Add/remove program if anything is there.
2. Delete the files from here If anything is there)

I updated my 4s to IOS 8 and now it won't automatically connect with my Ford SYNC. I have to turn the phone off and then on again for it to connect.
Why is this? My husband's 4s is still on IOS7 and it still connects automatically.I do not know if this will help.

my computer won't recognize that my phone is plugged in, so i can't transfer photos, but it shows connected to itunes.
You have to sync your photos from iTunes , if you cannot see iphone in itunes it might be due to itunes being corrupted or the apple driver issue.
To fix this, try the following:
1.Uninstall iTunes completely , and Re-install the latest version of iTunes, download it from apple website
2. Check whether its a hardware related issue , by using the phone with a different firewire
3. if it does show up in iTunes , and still facing the issue then try restoring the iphone [setting it up as a new phone , DO NOT RESTORE FROM BACKUP] and then try re-syncing
4. I dont think the format of the photos matter , but still try syncing different format photos [generally JPEG formats are used] -

when i back up an iphone on itunes does it save my social network passwords and stuff so when i connect another phone and sync it it'll all be there and i won't have to sign into everything again? because, i don't know most of my passwords im just signed in to everything on my phone but i'm getting a new one.

If you encrypt the backup, you can transfer the keychain information to the new device. With an unencrypted backup, you can restore the keychain only to the same iOS device. If you're restoring to a new device with an unencrypted backup, you need to enter these passwords again.

I can't make my iphone 4 forget the hpsetup network which keeps showing up at work. My phone won't automatically connect to my company's wireless network. I have to reselect it everytime I come to work.
Settings/General/Reset - Reset network settings will "forget" all WiFi networks so you can select them again.
If the problem with your company network is not solved by doing this, are there multiple sites that have the same network name for the company network? Or is it the default network name for the router type (e.g., DLINK, LINKSYS, etc)? If so, this is what is causing the problem and there is no solution other than convincing IT that it is a bad idea to have duplicate network names. -

Your phone connected, iTunes running, under the "Apps" tab, you've selected this app to install on your phone, correct? Hit the "Apply/Sync" button, lower right on the Apps tab, what happens?

Aperture won't start unless connected to my Vault USB Drive
Hello All,
I have a 17" MBP runing aperture. My Aperture won't start unless the USB drive containig the vault is connected. Anyone having the same issue? Any remedy to this?Try holding the option key down whilst clicking on the Aperture icon in the dock and choosing your library this way.

I have a 4s with the latest 6.0.1 update and windows 7 with iTunes 11. When I connect the phone, windows can see but iTunes doesn't. Have tried re-installs and re-starts. Anybody else have this problem?

the iphone 4s is disabled - it says "connect to itunes". When I connect to itunes, I get the message "itunes could not connect to the iphone because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iphone before it can be used with itunes"....the phone is disabled because the wrong passcode was typed in too many times and when I try to go to itunes, it won't connect the phone because the phone is locked, so how do I unlock the phone since it's disabled???
You can restore the iPhone from backup on the last computer your iPhone synced with, this will allow you to reset the passcode http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414. If you do not have access to the last computer the phone synced with, you will have to force the phone into recovery mode & restore as a new device, all data on the phone will be erased http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808.

My iPhone won't stay connected to my wireless. I have to keep repowering my phone and then it lasts for a few minutes until I have to reboot again. Any ideas? Anyone experienced the same?

It does not sound like a battery problem.
Try a couple of things:
1. Reset the SMC

2. Reset (if you can) the PRAM

If that does not help, delete the mouse in system preferences, turn it off, restart, and turn the mouse back on.
