App aNote continual repurchase

I have been charged for downloading the app aNote 3 times now. The most recent one was a HD version so maybe this is a newer version that I mistakenly selected thinking that it was the same app. They need to display a warning that the apps they sell under a simular or same name could be different and charges would apply. Negative reviews will begin until they fix the problem.

Thats what the reviews are for.
But if you really have an issue with the developer of the app contact their support.

  • Going between apps they continue to reset. I can no longer do what I need my iphone for.

Going between apps they continue to reset. I can no longer do what I need my iphone for. I've looked for a solution and haven't found one. This seems to be a gigantic blunder in the latest evolution of iOS. I used to love iphone but now it's like a curse. Thanks for any help you can give.

Can you be more specific?   What does "going between apps they continue to reset" mean?

  • HT204266 app store continually shows '1' but all apps up to date

I have an iPhone 3GS, after installing Real Racing 2, after installing version 1.13.01 (H491), the Apple Apps store continually re-displays a '1' notification, even if I go in to it, it shows 'all apps up to date', has anyone else had this problem?  I have not contacted firemint yet, does installing iOS 5 fix this problem?

Tried that, tries a soft reset, and a hard reset, no luck.  Funny thing is, my other iphones and IPad work fine, its just the Iphone 5.

  • App Store Continually Updates iMovie

Since installing Mavericks, I've been asked to install iMovie constantly. Despite having upgraded to the lastest version (10.0) the App Store seems unable to recognize it as such and will download and reinstall.
This is what it looks like:
And here is my list of "recently installed" apps...

Here is the fix as per Apple Care Support if anyone else is looking for this: Remove iMovie 9.0.9.
When you install iMovie 10.0 it keeps your old copy of iMovie 9 in a seperate folder. In some cases (at least in mine) the App Store continues to see the old version and assumes you need an update.
To remove iMovie 9.0.9, go into your Applications folder and just drag the folder called "iMovie 9.0.9" into the trash.
Keep in mind that there may be some features in the earlier iMovie that didn't make it into the newest version, so be sure that you're willing to lose them if you delete the old iMovie from your machine.
I did not try it but it is also possible that simply moving the old iMovie to a different locatin on your machine will allow you to keep the application without the App Store seeing it and attempting to update every two seconds.

  • Background app crash continues in ios 8

ITs a shame apple didnt fix this in the enire year ios 7 was the latest. And its a disgrace for apple that it continues in ios 8!
my apps seem to continously crash in background and refresh each time i open them. Working efficiently with forms in safari is a distant memory. This is a case in both my ipad mini and iphone 5.
ANybody else experiencing this? Anybody knows a fix other than smashing an expensive useless toy on the floor?
    Neerav.

Just so you know I did uninstall and reinstall LINE and this did stop the app from crashsing. HOWEVER, users should be aware that doing this means all your history, chats, and users you added outside of your phone book will be deleted. So you should keep this in mind if having all your historical stuff is important. I think the biggest bad problem is that users you added manually will all be wipped out from your profile and you have to go back and re-add them again. Not a big deal if you only have a couple to re-add, but a problematic if you have 100's of users missing and have to re-add them.

  • App store continues to show items already updated

The App Store app is proving to be majorly annoying.  No matter what I do, some applications continue to show needing updating hours after I've already updated them.  I've deleted caches, I've rebooted multiple times, I've had the app find the individual applications in the Finder only to confirm that they are the version already updated.
Is there some way to get this to stop.  This has been a recurring problem since the App Store first went live.  I've deleted the apps installed and then reinstalled them with no luck.  This has persisted from 10.6.8 all the way to 10.7.3.
    Any known solutions?

    Carolyn,
Thanks for the suggestion.  Alas, nothing works.  First I delete the cache in the com.apple.appstore folder.  I rebooted.  The App Store app still shows 7 apps needing updating - all of which I updated yesterday and have confirmed are the versions they are supposed to be.  Then, I took the App Store icon on the dock, dropped it into the trash, dragged the App Store icon from the Applications folder to the dock.  I rebooted.  After all this, the same 7 applications still show up as needing updating.  So, just for grins and giggles, I updated them again.  Of course, after updating them again, exiting the App Store, and then returning, the same 7 apps show that they are in need of updating.
    This is maddening.

  • Why am I and my Flash app users continuously bombared with "A script in this movie is causing Macromedia Flash Player-"

I'm experiencing a severe backlash from users of Flash
applications due to the frustration generated from encountering a
continuous bombardment of messages during the intialization of
    Flash applications that reads:
"A script in this movie is causing Macromedia Flash Player 8
to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become
unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"
What's worse is there are only two, very limited options for
users. The first is to continue on and the second is to simply
abandon the app and apparently forget about trying to accomplish
whatever it was you were accessing the application for. I'm going
to continue scouring Live Docs, Google, etc and hopefully I'll be
able to post my own answer soon. In the meantime, any input on the
    matter would be VERY welcome.
Can anyone shed some light on this please?

You're saying "users of Flash applications." Do you mean
    *all* Flash
    applications? Or just one?

You don't have to scour very far. This message occurs when
    something
inside a given SWF file is poorly written -- perhaps an
    infinitely recursing
function, perhaps some other un-optimized looping or an
    incredible amount of
unchecked math operations. But this certainly isn't something
    that just
    happens.
Can you nail this to one particular file? If so, the
    developer of that
file needs to start troubleshooting her/her own code.

  • HT1689 I am having trouble with my appleid and password. I have changed to a new id and password, however whenever I updat an app it continues to give me my old applid and i  do not have a password for this account because it no longer exists

I am having trouble   getting my updates on my apps. The email address no longer exists. I have set up a new appleid and password. However my old email address keeps showing up and I do not know the password. Can anyone help me?

Items are permanantly associated with a single AppleID used at the time of the purchase.
You will have to contact Apple about the non-working e-mail and forgotten password.  It's kind of like going to the police and saying you know that red car in the corner of the parking lot is yours but you don't have the papers for it and you have lost the key to the door.

I no longer have an email address that was also my Apple ID. Can I still use the email address as my Apple ID?
Apple recommends you change your Apple ID to your current, working email address. This will not create another Apple ID, it will only change it to your working email address. See How to change the name you use for your Apple ID if you'd like more information.

  • TS1702 Has anyone else had this problem? Been waiting for 2 days for an app from apple store to install on my iPad. It just keeps saying "installing" have tried to update other apps at the same time and that happens is the app icons continue to display "w

I have been waiting for two days for an app to install on my iPad. Seems like something is stuck as it just keeps displaying "installing". Can not see where I can delete and start over and it's preventing me from updating or downloading any more games. Acts like a corrupt file or something. Can anyone help solve this problem? Thanks

Did anyone ever suggest you reset your PRAM?
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=2238
Also might want to try resetting the SMC, although I
    doubt there's an issue there.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304123
I'm getting tired of people who supposedly know what
they're doing simply guessing that resinstalling the
OS might solve the issue. It's like trying to dissect
a frog with a sledge hammer, and wondering why you
didn't learn anything about anatomy in the process.
These sorts of things, although bizarre, should be
(and probably are) fixable without major surgery.
Thanks for the suggestion... but I think my first question would be why these parameters would need re-setting? This is a new machine... It has never been shut down hard. It is used at most 10 hours per week... mostly using Office 2004 for MAC. I need to figure this out as I will soon need it as a Cs2/CS3 - Aperture workhorse.
I too agree that it is best not to use a sledge when a scalpel is needed... but as a novice to the MAC world I may have been misled by Apple support. I seems to have fixed the symptoms ( some) but appears NOT to have addressed the cause... which is what I am after.
Would TechTool Pro detect a bad HD or RAM?
    Thanks....

  • I updated my apple ID and the app store continues to ask for my old id, I've gone to my settings and it does show my new apple ID

My daughter created an apple ID for my new phone but she forgot the password, so I created a new one, and so far I can purchase new apps with my new apple ID however there's an update pending for the Facebook application and when I try to update it the phone still asks for my old apple ID. That's the only app that's giving me that problem. Please help

That's normal behavior.  Whenever an app needs to be updated, it will always require the Apple ID that downloaded/installed the app.  If you don't know or can't recover that password, you can't update the app.  You have to delete and then reinstall it.
