App Installation Fried iPhone

During the process of downloading and installing an application from the App Store, the iPhone (non 3-G) crashed and displayed the white Apple logo. Now never stops displaying the logo. I can shut down by pressing the top switch, but get no red slider or other interface. Only the Apple logo is ever displayed and the iPhone gets very hot and occasionally buzzes twice. iTunes never recognizes the device when it is connected to the computer and has to be forced quit so there's no way to restore or reset the device. Any ideas?

SOLVED - Issue solved with answer on point Can't update apps on the iPhone 4
Did turn OFF then ON iPhone, then changed date to a future date before going back to iTune in Apps folder to update or install apps

After updated apps, apps would disappear on iOS 6 but not iOS 7 apps will not disappear as long lists of apps where are completed and won't disappears.. I read article and explained how to get rid of the updated apps that it said:
"This is by design now due to the Automatic Updates Feature. The only way I have found to clear them is to go into Setting> General> Date & Time and turn off the automatic setting, set your month to several days/month in the future..
Then go back to the App Store and the updates should clear, Then go back to your Date & Time setting and change it back to automatic" by KalebsDad78.
I did try this but still there and won't clear.. I can't figure it out how to get rid..

Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

Syncing apps between to iphones on the same itunes account

My wife and I both own iphones (3G and 3GS). We sync them in itunes using the same account, which works great for the most part. However, if she installs an app on her iphone and then syncs it with the mac, those apps are then installed on my iphone the next time I sync with the mac. I would prefer to select which apps are on my phone. Same thing goes for her. Any apps I install on my iphone are automatically installed on her iphone. Any input would be appreciated.

That's the way it works. You just need to uncheck them in the list on the Applications tab, then click Sync one more time.

If on s60; You can install them directly to phone; Copy *.sis *.jar to somewhere on ur mem card disconnect phone, Go to File Manager>navigate to folder where u copied file>open.

When you say soft-reset for your N8 do you mean Settings > Phone > Phone mgmt. > Factory settings - restore or delete data and restore?

Go back to what Chris CA said a few posts above. With the iPhone synced to iTunes, select the iPhone along the LH side on the iTunes window. Once selected you'll see it's context screens in the main window. One of the tabs is labeled "Applications". Go to that tab and check to see if the App you're missing is "check marked" to sync.

Share App info on iPhone and iPad?

What I mean by this is:
I have a game on my iPhone that I have played and have a save file on. When I sync the same game to my iPad (same version, not an iPad version) iTunes does not copy the save data along with it. So I can only really play the game on one of my devices. It's not even that, the game I want to play on my iPad I no longer want to play on my iPhone as the screen is too small for it, but unless there is a way to copy over the save game, it looks like I'd have to start over.
This is the same for any iPhone app I put on my iPad.

Only crashes when started on Sci Tech or shen Sci Tech is selected.
Works fine in World News and Entertainment categories.
Deleted, reinstalled, rebooted, etc. Still have problem.

How do I delete an app from my iPhone? I want to delete the stocks and maps apps, which I never use. I know how to delete the paid apps, just don't know how to get rid of the originally installed apps.

yep it would be great, to get rid of unwanted installs. or at least have an option to prevent them loading and showing. but til thats happening the above suggestion is poss. best, create new page, shuffle all the "useful" apps you dont need from system over there and place it as the very last page. any other solution would bring you into grey areas / require jailbreak

habe itunes auf meinem Rechner, wollte neue apps aufladen über itunes. Apps werden im PC geladen und trotz synchronisation werden die apps nicht auf das phone geladen. Brauche da support.
Gleichzeitig kann ich über mein password und apple account keine app direkt im phone laden, da kommt immer eine Fehlermeldung.

Stimmen die Einstellungen für die Apple ID und den App Store überein und ist das iPhone eingeloggt in Einstellungen/iTunes und App store/Apple ID?
Sind irgendwelche Einschränkungen für App Installation aktiviert in Einstellungen/Allgemein/Einschränkungen?
Wenn ja, alle Einschränkungen probeweise deaktivieren und nochmal probieren zu synchronisieren.

Volume slider won't work after app installation.

I have tried to search for this topic but as I’m not sure what is happening, it is hard to pinpoint the topic. PLEASE RE DIRECT if possible.
I have recently installed 2 applications to my IPhone 3Gs (separate installation days) and since then each time I use the installed app, I can’t use the volume slider on my IPhone's IPod?
It will randomly turn loud then quiet and if I use my finger to on the slider it returns to its starting position when I let go??
I have tried uninstalling the applications in question and re-installing them via my laptop and even tried downloading them via both 3G and WiFi but still have the same effect.
P.S. I have a video of this happening if that would help and it also works fine if I restart the phone but as soon as I use the apps again I’m back to square one. I would just stop using them but one is Real Football 10 which I paid £3.99
I have even raised a report on the two applications via the app store but have been told to restore phone to factory settings and see if that works? (I haven’t tried this as it is my last resort)
Can anyone help me with this??

my little piece of advice is to remove your said app from your iphone/ipod and wait for their update which I hope will fix this issue.
I have had this problem from one of the app from clickgamers which I installed that triggered my volume slider,no choice but to remove them from my iphone/ipod and my gadget back to normal,just to bad I can't play my favorite game anymore unless they do the update to fix the issue

For anyone else reading this thread, it is worth knowing that sometimes an email is, or can be, corrupted thereby jamming the works. The solution above is good, but I just wanted to suggest another one.
If the problem arises, go to an online mail access service, such as Mail2Web.com and login to you mail account there and delete the offending message.
Problem solved.
And George, as this is all entirely voluntary, whinging about no takers may not endear people to you. Besides which, a few minutes of searching on Google would have found you a number of solutions.
