Hi All,
When trying to save the record. user is getting the below error.
APP-PER-289974: There has been an error processing this person.
The error encountered is ORA-2001: HZ_SYNC_SQL_EXCEP: N, PROC..........
ORA-06508: PL/SQL.........
I have recently upgraded the apps from 12.1.1 to 12.1.3.
Os : Oracle solaris sparc
I need your assistance on this.

Please check if you have any errors in the database log file.
Do you have any invalid objects that could be relevant?
Have you tried to generate the form via adadmin and see if it helps?

Error while saving the records in the database

Hi,
I am running into a wierd error.
I have built a new page which contains the information about the employees. Some of the fields are updatable fields. The page shows the details of the person who logs into the page.
I am not using EO in this page. The data is queried from the database from VO and displayed in the page and when the records are updated, they are saved in the databased using pl/sql procedure which is
being called from AM. So i am basically not using VO to save the records in the database.
The error which i am getting is,
If 2 users are trying to update the page at the same time, user A's details are updated in user B's page.
This is really causing the issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Update Error while saving the record

Hi All,
I am facing an 'Unable to update record' error when I save the form.
The error Detail is: Unable to update :block.field1 to null.
In fact I am printing that particular field before calling APP_STANDARD.EVENT('KEY-COMMIT'); in Key-commit trigger which has a value, but the field becomes null as soon as I click on Save button.
Can any one tell me what I am doing wrong?

I have an update on the issue.
This particular field which becomes null on saving is actually a context field for descriptive flexfield.
And it gets saved when the context is defined in the DFF definition. But it becomes null for those whose attributes are not defined and is not part of the DFF definition.
Is there any way to handle this when it is not a part of DFF definition.

While saving the records message is keeps on popping up

hi all,
i am using form6i.
i have a master detail form.
in the header part when i enter a value (which is having when-validate-trigger), after entering value if i press save then the message which i have written in the trigger will keep on poping up.
At the time of saving i have called the procedure which will navigate through the detail block to check for some validation.
but how can i avoid this poping up message? how can i make the when-validation-item to file before calling this procedure at the time of saving?
but this is happening when i enter value in the item and click some where in the form. this is happning only when i enter a data and tries to save it.
Please advise me.

Every time you try to navigate out of your item, it will fail with the error message. yes, when i try to navigate out of item its failing with error message. that is ok. but after entering data in the item when i press save the procedure is firing after that w-v-i msg is keep on popping up.
So, don't try to navigate to the detail block when there is an error. how can i check at the time of saving is there any error. do i have to write w-v-i code at the time of saving(before calling the procedure)?

Error While saving the tabulator results recording(QE71)

Hi Experts ,
through the Tcode QE71 i'm recording the inspection points and the inspection results but while Saving the recorded results , the system is giving error as " No Orignal values " and also as "inspection Pt 99999 of the Characteristics .....is not avaialable".
What might be the possible reason for the same. But when i'm entering the results through the Tcode QE01 all the results are saved and closed.
Can anybody help me out of this.

Can you call your web service using jQuery not in an app successfully?
As the error message suggests, it might be an error on the server side.
I suggest you do a simple test to check whether you can call the web service using jQuery.

Warning massage while saving the asset master record

Hi all,
I have a problem while saving the asset master record.My client manages the group asset in the depreciation area 15 for tax reporting.What I have done in the configuration that, I have created a separate asset class for group asset and marked this asset for entirely consisting of group assets.Then I have createdall the grpup assets in this marked class.For example, supppose I have created one group asset class 50000 and I have created all the group assets in this class.Then I assign the gr.asset no. in the master record of the normal assets and while saving the master record I am getting the warning massage as the account determination is different than the asset.It may't be possible to reconcile them from the FI-AA.But if I am creating the group assets in the class of the normal assets such type of error massage doesn't appear.Also while retiring the normal assets the asseet is not being deactivated automatically and instead a warning massage is coming the asset is still having value in the depreciation area 15 and can't be deactivated.Can any body suggest where I have gone wrong in the configuration?

Update delays sometimes mean that there is a queue waiting at the UPD task. Go to SM51 and check to make sure that there are no other tasks waiting to be processed. Check with you Basis group - they might be able to run some diagnostics on the update task.

Error while Saving the report

Hi,
i have created some reports which are working fine,
but now i am facing some errors while saving the files.
Also the reports does show only one record while there are many records in the database.
The error messages are as follows:
REP-1051; Unable to save document to file ' F:\Database\Reports\report1.rdf '.
REP-1070: Error while opening or saving a document.
Please help me to find out the exact problem.
Also tell me how can i show all the pages of Database records in a report( while one record on each page)

As for the error while saving, you have only one possible thing to try. It it doesn't work, you're sunk.
Assuming the report was not being newly created, i.e. that it was opened from a file on your system, then rename that file to something else (Report_001_OLD.rdf, for example). Then try to save it - Reports will think it is a new file to be saved rather than an existing file to be updated.
Again, if that doesn't work, and if you do not have the auto-save option turned on, then you're sunk. You will have just lost all of the work you've put into that report.
As you'll discover, Reports is not the most robust application ever written.

This type of error is non-descript and could be caused by any number of things. It is impossible to troubleshoot from here based solely on that message. Let me ask a couple of questions, though:
- Are you using structured FrameMaker? If so, are you using a structured app that has worked successfully before? In other words, did this just suddenly start happening to an otherwise-stable process?
- Is there anything unusual about your layout; that is, anything other than a single text flow with graphics?

To set an error while saving the order when the item categor changed in CRM

Hello SAP Gurus,
As per our current system set up, whenever the order created in CRM once replicated to ERP should not change the item category in CRM .If the item category is changed( allows the system) and saved, it gives an error as u201CItem category should not be changedu201D. We have been encountering this type of issue since long back
To avoid this type of issue, an error should through while saving the order when the user changes the item category in CRM.
Can someone help me to achieve this.

Ho to Generate the Numeric Values Automatically before saving the records

Hello to everybody,
I have a data block naming “BILL” consisting of the following 3 field.
1. Sr_No
2. Bill_Amount
3. Description
This Data Block consist 10 records at a time.
I want that whenever I insert records in the above data block.
Serial No should automatically be generated.
For this I have applied the following code in “WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE” trigger.

Whenever I insert records in the BILL data block, the first row automatically generates the “Sr_No”, but when I move to the next record, (remember currently I have not saved the record), the same value which appeared in the previous record appears in the Sr_No field.
For example, when I insert records for the first time in the BILL, the Sr_No field automatically generates value “1”, but when I move to the next record while not saving the first record the next row still generating value “1”, while it should be value “2” and so on.
Note that I want that before saving the previous record when I move to the next row, the Sr_No should generate the next continuous value like in example.
Please help me to solve out this problem.

Seriously, you guys don't need to go to all this trouble.
If you want a serial number incrementation, all you need to do is to either select the max value + 1 from the table or select the next value from a sequence in an PRE-INSERT trigger on block level, and that's it!!!!

I have a 2 node installation of R12 running on HP-UX whereby one node is the application tier and the second node is the database tier....
I have configured Enterprise Manager Database console on the db tier.

SPD "The server could not complete your request" while "Saving the XOML file"

Greetz!
I'm trying to resolve an issue where a SharePoint Designer Approval workflow on a list fails while "Saving the XOML file". The workflow has been reduced to a single step for tests and it still fails.The more details dialog is empty.
The Event Viewer does not record the event and no unexpected events show up in the logs.
Any ideas on what might be causing this?

An error occurred while saving the following file

I want to build an app but I get this message:
An error occurred while saving the following file:
C:\Acquire U6 DS&FTP\Acquire U6 DS&FTP.vi
Nothing more, absolutely nothing more.
Before that I could build it without problems, now I can't. The file in the message is the main file (by the way it runs fine). I've tried creting a new project but it doesn't work.
I really hope somebody can help me.

I want know whether anu User Exits are there while saving the Excise Invoice in J1IIN.
The "scenario" here is as follows:
---I will create an invoice(Commercial) in VF01. Suppose I got a number 1234(This is Billing Document number).
---Now I will go to J1IIN and create an Excise Invoice by reffering to the VF01 Billing Doc Number.I will enter all the details. Then I will Save it. While saving I want to check the following aspect:
I want to compare the Billing Document Number and Excise Invoice Number and give error if both the numbers are not same.
---That is I want to see that Excise Invoice and Billng Document number should be same.
I need your suggestion in the above scenario.
I will definitely reward if problem is solved.
