App Store Family Requests

So I just finished setting up our little tribe in family sharing, and one of the things I was most excited about with the "Ask to Buy" feature, when my kids want to try and buy something. I am not sure what steps I have not completed, but the request is initiated successfully on my kids' devices, but neither I or my wife get the request to approve or deny it...
Help? Thoughts? Comments?

I downloaded a free app in the Mac App Store many months ago, after I got bored of it I deleted de App but now the Mac App Store is requesting me to update the mentioned app which I don't want anymore. How can I make it stop requesting me the update?

Not in my case, somehow this app doesn't appear in my Purchased panel, just in my Updates panel.

App Store-password request redundancy

Anyone have an issue with the App Store in that it requests you enter my password each time you access the store? This happens each time, irregardless if you are making a purchase or not. In some cases it will ask it will request 2 or 3 times... This occurrence is new to me and its done this for the last 2-3 weeks?? Not sure if I have a security issue or if something's changes and I missed the notice....Any insight regarding this would be great appreciated, Thanks

App Store - Your request is temporarily unable to be processed

Hey,
when trying to install two apps I got to the point where APP store says "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed." The previous message before that is to accept the new terms and conditions. I say yes and then this is what happens. Tried logging out and in - not working.
Any tips?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

App Store - your request could not be completed

Hi,
I have an issue with the message in subject appearing evey time I try to browse the App Store.
Any idea how to solve?

I have the exact same problem on my iPhone 4S (in Israel..)
I am trying to download the apple trailers app with no success.
When I search the App Store for 'apple trailers' it's retrieves no results, and when I try the link in the Apple trailers website it fails and gives me the same message (your request could not be completed)
Why is that?

App store, feature, request couldn't complete

Lately, I couldn't access feature page in app store, it says "your request could not be complete" every time I press.
I have two iTunes account, I am aware region lock would causes such error message.
I have tried loging out and logging back, switch account. Nine worked, even tried going to
iTunes.apple.com/uk/app/
It would still show the same error message

Just to say, I have the same problem. But without switching accounts.
I have the problem both on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S.
Popup appears when buying or updating apps. Both paid and free.
The list is even getting bigger, the last time it said this and 23 other items could not be purchased at this time.
Still the apps install and backup fine and they just work. There are also still added to my purchase history.
About switching to the new iPad: I think the apps will still sync to the new iPad and the data won't be lost. But the error will still be displayed or maybe the new iPad will fix it, I will see when I get mine march 23

New App Store website request

The new Palm App Store is a great addition! However, in my humble opinion, the website needs additional content. The website says there are over 5,000 apps available – 1,000 as freebies. My Treo/Verizon internet connection is not fast enough and I am not patient enough to wade thru these on my phone.
It is obvious the website is still being developed, as noted by no “Contact Us” information. The website should show all of the available apps so we can do our ‘shopping’ on a faster connection and a larger screen. Once we have made our selections, we can move to the phones and make our purchases.
Just my opinion . . .

We do appreciate your opinion and will be noted in improving the Palm App Store. Also there is www.freewarepalm.com for free 3rd party apps to download to your Treo smartphone.

Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) drop-down menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app, click the arrow to the left of it, click the 'Report a Problem' button :
and then the 'Report a Problem' link on its line :
and select 'inadvertently purchased' as the problem and fill in the details (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

I noticed ever since I got my iPhone 6 Plus yesterday, I have to submit my App Store password every time I power Off & On the device, how do I stop this? what did I miss?

Mac App Store keep request for update an application that I already uninstall from my MBP?

I updated my mbp to 10.6.6 which come with mac app store. I was so happy to get myself some apps there. eg: DropCopy (free) and some games of course. After given some try, i decided to uninstall DropCopy from my mbp, and also the related .plist files. Few weeks later, when DropCopy come with an update, i found that there are an update notification from mac app store. I've tried to update then uninstalled it again, the update notification still there! I've write an e-mail to the developer, they replied that's a bug come from mac app store and they can't do anything to solve that. So i decide to wait for an update from Apple. When it come with an update to 10.6.7, I get my mbp updated for sure. However, the problem still there! The mac app store still appear an update of DropCopy even I've already uninstall it from my mbp. How can i solve it or remove the update notification?

iTunes is currently having problems in reference to the apps. If you have icloud, then toggle contacts off/on. If not then restore from itune backup

App store still requesting old Apple ID after Apple ID was changed - cannot update apps

A few months ago, my apple account was hacked. I had to change my Apple ID. That's fine, and all of the iTunes stuff is fine. The App store is a different problem. When I go to update my apps, it asks for the old Apple ID, which now is invalid. How can a convert the Apple ID associate with the App Store to my new Apple ID? I have way too many apps to start over, nor am I willing to purchase them again.

I would contact iTunes. Only they can take care of your pboem since apps are permentetly locked to the account that purchased them.

App Store Requests Continuous Updates

I wasn't sure where to put this, because I didn't feel I should contact Apple directly unless I could through email. However, I have noticed that since I've upgraded to Mavericks, the App Store keeps requesting me to update Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. I did two or three times because I thought that maybe Apple kept fixing things. Yet, I noticed that each update was a couple hundred megabytes, which would be unusual for a small fix. I'm sure this is a flaw in the App Store with Mavericks currently, but if anyone knows the actual answer that'd be nice.

I hate to sound cynical. But one "impression" I have of getting conflicting "alert's"*
is to get one to always return to the app store. And guess what? It work's, for marketing reasons. Apple's product's are good enough and THAT's why I'm on this site.
Of course, I could be wrong, and misinterpreting this "behavior". Hey, it's happened before...

Apple Id differs in App Store which isn't mine when system restored

I tried to change the App Store Id to [email protected] already, it lets me but in App Store still request for the other ID password. Please help

Does this happen when updating app?
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

The wrong apple id shows up in the app store

I bought a new iphone 4g. Until yesterday, all was well. Today the app store is asking for an apple id that is associated with another iphone on our itunes account. In my settings, my apple id is correct. I have tried signing into itunes with my account and syncing. It did not change my app store id request. What to do?

Thanks for your prompt reply. That did not work. I signed out, turned the phone off, then on, then signed in and it still has the wrong id. Any other ideas? I read one post that said something about an app purchased by the other user that may need to be deleted.
