'pin as app tab' turns the wide tab to a small tab. But there is no identifying icon - they are all identical. The default 'white page of paper with dogear upper right' is all I see.

Sorry, Mozilla, NVM. Turns out the cause was the addon '''Favicon Picker'''. Disabled it (replaced with ''Bookmark Favicon Changer''), and now all icons show ok (app tabs, normal tabs). Yaay, me=happy!!

Are you clearing your recent history when you close Firefox?
Firefox stores App Tabs and tab group details in the same file that stores details of browsing sessions. Make sure that you have not set Firefox to delete browsing history. For details of the setting to check see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Clear+Recent+History

Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power to it for 30 seconds.

What happens when you try to load the photos into the second calendar? What iPhoto version? What system version?

How come version 3.6.3 will not allow me to access my online banking while version 3.6.2 can when they are both exactly the same setup?

I have two computers. Both had Fire Fox 3.6.2. I then upgraded one to 3.6.3. I then tried to access my online banking and I was unable to with the Version 3.6.3. I then went to my other computer and I had no problems accessing it with the one that has 3.6.2. On the computer with 3.6.2 that was upgraded i did not change anything. It has the same add-on, settings, etc. This happens to some other sites as well. I have read and looked through all the help files and nothing helped. I've done everything except uninstall Fire Fox and reinstall 3.6.2 (if i can find it) to see if that will work. I really don't want to do that but if i must then i shall.

I have two Ipods can they both work on the same computer?

I had bought a ipod nano about a 6 mounths ago. Last week I bought the new ipod nano 2ed gen. I was wondering if I could plug both of them into the same computer (not both at the some time)but without screwing itunes up and loosing all my music? Also would i have to change the serial numbers of the ipods on the computer?

See...I have a ipod nano which on being connected to itunes7, I'm able to make my own playlist&delete or download songs at my own will. But when I connect my ipod mini to my i tunes(on the same computer) ...it(only) just updates my mini but after that if i wanna make changes to the playlist on my mini or delete anything...I can't. It only works with my nano but not with my mini.

Most of my bookmarks have lost their icons and are redirected to the BBC News website. Why? Is this a virus? How do I get them back?

My icons are missing from my bookmarks and when I click on let's say chase banking, I am taken to BBC News.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

One likely reason is the % battery is not that accurate because of the smaller battery capacity in the iPod compared to iPhone and iPad. Users why use a % battery app post that the % reading changes a lot.

The utilities folder is on the second page of apps. If not, you can go to Setting> General> Reset> Reset home screen layout.

HT201269 The iPhone "Apps" Tab will not open in iTunes v11.1

I purchased the iPhone 5S yesterday and am running iOS 7.0.1. I restored my 5S from yesterday's backup of my 4S which was running iOS 6.1.2. The 5S restored fine but now when I open iTunes, click on the iPhone tab, I can open all the tabs with the exception of the "Apps " tab. Each time I click the Apps tab I get a popup that says an error occurred and iTunes needs to shut down (no error code to check). Clicking on the Music, Video, tabs, etc. all open with no issues; just the Apps tab does not function.
Is this a bug with iTunes v 11.1, and issue with iOS 7.0.1 or could it an app or two on my 5S affecting the Apps tab.
I have 135 apps installed and really do not want to install them one at a time.
Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

You can't have Newsstand hidden in a folder. If you do, move it to the homescreen then you will be able to access the Apps tab in iTunes 11.1. You can always move it to the folder afterwards.

And while we are at it iOS8 has installed iBooks on both of my phones and iTunes won't let me uninstall it. I don't need or want iBooks on my phones.

There are two easy fixes to this.
One, you can set up Family Sharing, in which you can have two different iCloud Accounts, yet still share the same apps, music, media etc.
Two, go to Settings and turn-off "Handoff". This can be found under the General page.

Try this fix discovered by User photosb189:
From Finder, hold down the option key on your keyboard and click on the Go menu at the top of the screen
Select Library from the drop down menu
Then navigate to Application Support > iLifeAssetManagement > assets
Right click on the 'sub' folder and choose Compress
Drag the resulting zip file to your Desktop (as a backup)
Go to your System Preferences and choose iCloud
Turn OFF the iCloud Photos option
Go back to Library > Application Support and DELETE the iLifeAssetManagement folder
Now, in System Preferences, turn the iCloud Photos option ON
iPhoto should now be able to launch. Give it enough time to re-download your Photo Stream content. if you are missing any of your My Photo Stream photos (more than 30 days old), unzip the sub folder on your desktop and drag that into iPhoto.
