Apparent problem parsing message headers

I'd like to know if anyone has run into this issue. I noticed in a friend's reply to one of my messages, that there was the raw source from another e-mail message that should have been in my inbox. In other words, mail combined both the message from my friend and the other message and they both were in my outgoing reply (I quote messages by default when replying.)
What I think is happening is that there is an unexpected line in the message header that mail is not parsing properly, so it runs two messages together. The problematic message was an announcement from the iTunes store that the latest episode of "Heroes" was available for download.
Here is the start of a header Mail didn't have a problem with:

Note the extra line at the beginning, "From donotreply..." That seems to be the problem. I've seen this happen with one other message today that had the same "extra" line at the top of the message header.
So, can the Mail developers be made aware of this? I've actually seen this happen in Netscape mail before. Is there a way to split those messages and get the two separate messages back once they have been downloaded from the POP server, or am I stuck with the combined messages?

I definitely don't like error messages and I'm sorry you're receiving this one! This particular error message occurs when the VZW Apps has a glitch while updating.
We're working with Samsung to prevent this from happening in the future but there is a way to correct it now.
To clear out the corruption I would first recommend ensuring all of your personal information is backed up. Your contacts generally save to gmail/backup assistant. Your media is usually on your SD Card but you can also transfer it to your computer. You can redownload your applications by visiting google.com/play and choosing My Android Apps.
Once you've ensured all of your info is safe and sound I would recommend a Hard Reset of your phone. You can find the steps here:

I'm trying to retrieve email on my 9300i from the POP3 server on Yahoo Mailplus. I connect to the server and get a normal progress message, "Retrieving message 1 of [X]" and a progress bar. Fixed it. The problem was I had too many (>1700) message stored in my Yahoo inbox. When I deleted most of them, worked fine.

Problem parsing the path data - error on jpgs

Photoshop CS2 v9.0.2 Windows XP SP2
Received the following error message in CS2: "Could not complete your request because of a problem parsing the path data"
I began getting the message above after adding ITPC data to three .jpg files. The message appears when I try to open the files from either Bridge or Windows Explorer. Other files are not affected. The .psd master file with the same metadata opens ok. I tried clearing the ITPC data, but this had no affect. I also tried moving the file to a different folder and renamed the file with no success. The files open ok in Windows Paint and appear ok in Bridge.
I created the ITPC data on one file in Photoshop and saved a metadata template. Then, in Bridge 1.0.4.6 I used the "replace metadata" command on the other two files.
I searched the knowledge base and this forum. I found only one hit in the forum from 2007, but there were no responses.
Can anyone describe what triggers this message, and how to avoid it or fix it?

Foward / backward slashes should not cause issues, as they are part of the standard character set on any system for obvious reasons, but I would more assume that this is an issue in how Windows translates the file info to native paths and tries to access those paths for verification. I seem to recall having read something along those lines recently in relation to some security issues, but I'm not really sure. anyway, does "escaping" the characters improve the matter (\\ or \/)?

Outlook 2010 RTM - Hide Message Headers

Good Day,
I pulled down Office 2010 RTM from TechNet last night, uninstalled the beta version, installed RTM. One thing that I'm noticing with Outlook is that, unlike the beta, I'm unable to hide message headers within the preview pane. If I go to the
view tab on the ribbon, then click View Settings | Other Settings ... then put a check in the "Hide header information" box, click OK | OK ... the change doesn't stick, headers are still visible. Anyone else experiencing this? Any known
workaround?

I hope that when you say, “We are tracking that change to remove it for a later update...” you’re saying that what will
be removed is the lack of a hide header feature and not the removal of the hide header interface. It’s just a bad an ill conceive feature to remove in the first place.
After spending several days of trying to find a solution or workaround I deleted my Outlook 2010 and purchased OL2007 just for this feature.
Unfortunately OL2006 caused problems with Office 2010 so I returned for a refund and repurchased OL2010. This resulted in a week of trouble shooting, a waste of my time as well as the time of techsupport personnel at Dell and the retail store where I purchased
the Dell, and the Microsoft Office online store. The whole process also used up 600 of my cell phone rover minutes.
I’m not disclosing the above for sympathy but just to let Microsoft know what the consequences are to a bad idea to drop the hide header
feature. It should be optional as it always has.

When try to download firefox my android says "problem parsing this package"

I have an Allwinner Android Kitkat 4.4 tablet. When I try to download Firefox I get the message "There was a problem parsing this package" when I try to open the 'exe' file in the downloads folder. How can I fix this?

You might have downloaded the Windows version by accident. For every different platform (ie Windows/Mac/Linux) there's a slightly different way of installing Firefox. For Android you need to either install through an app store (like Google Play) or download an 'apk' file.
Do you have access to the Google Play store? If so, use this link to install Firefox:

Otherwise, you can download the apk file from here:
http://download.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/latest/android/

Building hash based on IMAP message headers to maintain uniqueness

This is more of a general java question than Javamail but since it has relevance to IMAP, i thought of posting it here. Basically, I discovered it hard way that the IMAP server that I am working with (MS Exchange) isn't returning unique UID for the same message (for the same UIDVALIDITY on the folder). Under certain condition it simply purges the old message, creates a new message with a new UID (for example when read status on a message is changed, rather than changing the flag status, it purges the existing one and creates a new one with a new UID). I don't want to fight with Microsoft over this as all my previous attempts at pointing their errors have gone in vein.
Given this, I want to build a hash out of all the message headers and probably the internal date. This i know will guarantee uniquness in majority of the cases. The question is how do I do that. Is doing an MD5 on all the headers the best way to go about it? Will i run into a hash collision type situation with this?

Thanks bill. What's apparently happening in our exchange envrionment is that we have let's say a client A that deposits the message in Exchange store over MAPI. That client can create new message or change flags on existing, change priority and do all kinds of the stuff. When that client does whatever it does over MAPI, exchange somehow decides to flush the old message and create a new message even though the change was merely an update. I've confirmed with client A that they aren't doing anything unusual, its just that Exchange decides to do it their way. They actually are not violating the IMAP protocol either coz all they are doing is flushing the old message and creating a new one. My outlook client connected over IMAP handles this just fine in that as an end-user you don't see a delete followed by an add and hence i am assuming they must use something along the lines that I am planning on doing.
Totally agree that not using UID is going to be expensive but they haven't left me with any choice.

I have an iPad 3, iPad Mini and iPhone 5S and they are all sluggish on capitalisation using shift keys. I hope that Apple will solve the problem because it is driving me crazy.
I find using a Microsoft Surface and Windows 8 phone, which I also have, work as well as all the ios devices before the ios 7 upgrade.
It has something to do with the length of time that you need to hold the shift key down. The shift key needs to be held longer than the letter key for the capitalisation to work. For some reason, this is a major change in the way we have learnt to touch type on computers. I am having to relearn how to type!

i don't see any problem with your manifest.
try saving your fla and the published files to a new directory and see if the error resolves.

Issue is,

In INDEX we have option called reset index in that we have two radio buttons
one is "reset index to intial value with each new context"
and next one is "donot reset index to intiak value"
if i use the first radio button which is working fine in only one pallet and more pallet lines but not more than one pallet.
If i use the second radio buttton which is working fine in more than one pallet but not satisfying the more pallet lines in one pallet.

While in the ABAP stack i could see the XI SOAP header but in the new stack i only see XML message -> payload without the message headers,
Was wondering where the old one .Am i missing any config steps to help enable the below steps as i see them.

Hi, all, I have a problem with message choice because when I get the value it returns the value of index row.
For example I have this message choice:

where DeptLOV is a LOV List type binding, and DeptList is a Range type binding that is based upon the Dept iterator. If one of these three does not exist in your project yet, you should create them manually via the Structure palette.

Problem parsing XML with schema when extracted from a jar file

I am having a problem parsing XML with a schema, both of which are extracted from a jar file. I am using using ZipFile to get InputStream objects for the appropriate ZipEntry objects in the jar file. My XML is encrypted so I decrypt it to a temporary file. I am then attempting to parse the temporary file with the schema using DocumentBuilder.parse.
I get the following exception:
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element '<root element name>'
This was all working OK before I jarred everything (i.e. when I was using standalone files, rather than InputStreams retrieved from a jar).
I have output the retrieved XML to a file and compared it with my original source and they are identical.
I am baffled because the nature of the exception suggests that the schema has been read and parsed correctly but the XML file is not parsing against the schema.
Any suggestions?

I was originally using getSystemResource, which worked fine until I jarred the application. The problem appears to be that resources returned from a jar file cannot be used in the same way as resources returned directly from the file system. You have to use the ZipFile class (or its JarFile subclass) to locate the ZipEntry in the jar file and then use ZipFile.getInputStream(ZipEntry) to convert this to an InputStream. I have seen example code where an InputStream is used for the JAXP_SCHEMA_SOURCE attribute but, for some reason, this did not work with the InputStream returned by ZipFile.getInputStream. Like you, I have also seen examples that use a URL but they appear to be URL's that point to a file not URL's that point to an entry in a jar file.
Maybe there is another way around this but writing to a file works and I set use File.deleteOnExit() to ensure things are tidied afterwards.
