Apple Logo during initialisation with backup restore

Hello,
with my new iPhone 6 plus 128go, I try to initialize it with restoring from my iphone 5S backup with ~1370 apps the device after half of restoring  appears the white screen with Apple logo ;
I stop restoring, impossible to stop the device,
first call with Apple support, reinit & reinstall IOS 8.1, I relaunch restoring from my backup; same thing, I let finishing the restoring,
White screen logo stop appearing; then I continue to have all apps on the iphone;
A phone call, I answer then 2 mns after, iphone stops automatically the call
Again, iphone retarted, to finish copy of missiing app and again, white screen with Apple logo appear
call second time Apple support,  as Iphone restarted, advice is to continue copying missing apps
of course, going on with appearing Apple log with white screen  in parallel of synchronisation
Any idea ?
Regards;

add on, I've decided to reinit all and reload apps one by one ... what a pity !!!
when I've upload some of them, I've seen a new white screen with Apple logo..... and few mn after the iphone goes on ////

  • Gray bar under Apple logo during startup with 10.7.2

    Hi everyone,
    first-time iMac owner since May 2011, I'm experiencing exactky the same problem described in the article Mac OS X v10.6: Gray progress bar appears under Apple logo during startup, but with two important differences:
    it never happened with the original the 10.6 factory-installed, and started to appear after upgrading to 10.7 at the beginning of August
    my iMac, included in the HD replacement program announed by Apple in July 2011, had the HD replaced with a new one in October 2011
    In addition to the behavious described in the KB article, it's worth noting that, when one finally manages to log in (and the gray bar may take one good minute to disappear, which happens after filling up to approx. 60-70% of its length), the iMac is barely unusable, as the graphic interface is suddenly **** slow and there's a lot of flickering.
    Since seeing is believing, please have allok at the YouTube video I made on this "false start", as I named it: see iMac_falsa_partenza / iMac_false_start.
    I had already reported the problem to the local assistance, and they had told me it was an evidence of the HD problem indicated by Apple. Then they replaced the HD  (...did they, actually? Probably yes, as the  HD now installed is far noisier than the old one), but the very same day I brought it back from the assistance, at the second start... bam, here's the nasty gray bar again.
    I didn't further report the problem to the assistance because my faith in their capability has cracked and because the simple replacement of the HD took them  three full weeks. But this "false start" issue really, really bothers me a lot, as it happens every other day.
    How can I have some good Apple expert technicians take this problem seriously and help me solving it?
    As a first-time owner of a Mac, I have onestly to say I'm much, much disappointed by this story... Thanks anyone for any help.

    There's already a post on this. You should do a search on this next time.
    Anyway, look at the top nav of this page and then look at the first tab where there is an Apple logo. It has the same streak. Is there something wrong with this website?
    No, it's part of the Apple logo so you're okay.

  • My iPad is locked on Apple logo. Already made a restore still have only Apple logo. Any ideas?

    My iPad is locked on Apple logo. Already made a restore still have only Apple logo. Any ideas?

    Try a Restore but force the iPad into Recovery Mode first.
    Doing that involves restarting the iPad, holding the Home Button, and connecting it to iTunes.  Holding the Home Button is the trick.  Here's an article explaining how to do it.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
    If Force Restarting and Force Restoring doesn't work, it may be time to look up warranty information.
    Good Luck.

    Which model MacBook Pro do you have (e.g., "15-inch Late 2011") and which version of OS X are you running?
    You may want to try resetting your SMC -> Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC).
    If no joy there, call back with th requested information.

    i can't think of anything else other than sending it to applecare. my ipad 2 was recently purchased in jan this year. any input would be greatly welcomed!

  • Can't turn on my MacBook Air. Grey screen shows but instead of Apple logo a folder with a "?" appears. Help

    Hello,
    As I was using my laptop it suddenly died on me. I tried turning it on several times but I couldn't get passed the grey screen with the Apple logo on it and a loading bar underneath. At this time I could access the Recovery Disc Assistant or the Mac OS X utilities (not sure what it is called). I partintioned the Hard Drive into one partition and ran a disc check. Everything was OK so i rebooted the laptop. The grey screen showed up, but this time instead of getting an Apple logo i got a blinking folder with a question mark on it. I could no longer access the Recovery Disc Assistant and I'm stuck. What really ***** is that I have IB exams tomorrow and some of my crucial notes are on this laptop... Please help.

    If you partitioned the drive, you deleted all the data on it. Restore from your most recent backup.

  • My iPod touch 5th gen won't turn on past the apple logo, do I need to restore to factory settings? If so, is there a way to save my photos?

    I've had my iPod touch 5th gen for a little over half a year now, haven't had any issues until now. Yesterday it randomly shut down, and when I try to turn it back on, the apple logo shows up but the iPod just stays on that screen, it doesn't turn on any further. I think I might need to restore it to the factory settings to get it to work again, but I'm concerned that I'm going to lose all my photos. I found the backup folder in my computer but it doesn't have any files in it. I have over 600 pictures on my iPod and I really don't want to lose them all. Is there a way that I can either get my iPod to work again without restoring, or a way that I can extract the photos without the iPod actually being in functioning condition? The computer doesn't recognize the device when it gets connected via the USB. Thanks!

    - Connect the iPod to your computer and try to make a backup
    iOS: How to back up and restore your content
    - Next reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    and try making a backup again. If you can't then there is no way of getting the info off the iPod unless data recovery company can do it. Not cheap.
    - If photos are in an existing iPod backup (iTune>Preferences>Devices  for iTunes backup or an iCloud backu) then restore from that backup. See the restore topic of:
    iOS: How to back up
    - If you used PhotoStream then try getting them from your PhotoStream. See that topic of:
    iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer

  • Slow start up and no Apple logo during post

    Greetings everyone and Happy Holidays.
    My question deals with my son's mini which is configured slightly different than mine. His has 256mb ram, no super drive, he has the 1.42 cpu and 80gig HD.
    The problem is slow start up / post speed and slow overall system performance compared to my mini and my grandson's mini. My grandson's mini is exactly the same configuration as my son's and they are networked at home and have a broadband cable connection to the net.
    We didn't realize the difference in start up methods between our minis until recently when I restarted my son's system and noticed a screen filled with text scrolling down as the mini started up. I asked if this just started happening and he said it did it from the day he first started it up. Then I noticed there was no Apple logo like the other two mini's has during post.
    We compared settings between my grandson's mini and my son's system but didn't really find much. We tried reinstalling 10.4 with no change. We looked at the system resources and didn't really see much other than the system showed only having about 4 mb ram free. We are all running OS 10.4.3 with all the recent updates.
    It takes a good 2 minutes for this thing to boot compare to our mini's taking about 45 seconds. I didn't look at start up items in his ACCOUNTS area and I'm not currently at his computer. Thanks for any help you can give.
    We LOVE our mini's and I'm sorry I put up with MS for all these years. Apple truely does have a well designed, well built, reliable product.
    Thanks,
    Kenny G

    Hi again.
    Thank you all for your replies. I will be talking to my son shortly and will pass - on your info.
    Upon returning to this forum to see the replies I got to my question, I reviewed my original post and it seems a bit confusing so, I'll summarize with more clarity.
    Me, my eldest son and his son (my grandson), all have mini's. I bought my son his mini first (1). Then about 3 months later I bought my grandson his mini (2). Finaly, about 3 weeks ago, I bought mine (3).
    Now, my son and my grandson have pretty much the exact same mini and they are configured like this:
    CPU = 1.42gig
    RAM = 256mb
    HD = 80gig
    WiFi = not installed
    Bluetooth = not installed
    DVD/CD = combo drive
    OS ver = 10.4.3 Tiger
    Both of these are networked in my son's house.
    My grandson's mini (2) runs much faster AND (this is what concerns me with my son's mini (1)) the boot sequence does NOT show anything on the screen until the Apple logo appears then contiues to boot to his login screen - all taking about 45 seconds. This appears to be a normal (good) boot sequence, which is the exact same method that MY mini goes through at boot.
    NOW - My son's mini boots very slow and what concerns me with his mini is that the system boots showing text such as what you would see when a DOS system boots, batch files running and such. All this text scrolling up the screen certainly does not show one my grandson's mini nor mine.
    I did the reinstall of Tiger 10.4 but I did NOT do a clean install.
    So, mini (1) boots and runs slow, showing a bunch of stuff on the screen during boot. Mini (2), which is the exact same mini, boots fast and runs almost as fast as my mini.
    Anyway, I hope this helps clear up my problem and will be awaiting any further info. Thank's
    Kenny G

  • TS3694 hello i am not able to switch on i phone 4 apple logo flashes no response when restored

    pls help

    Hi ashwinc79,
    Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
    If you have restored your iPhone but it is not powering on or starting up past the Apple logo, I recommend going through these steps:
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802
    Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
    Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
    Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
    Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
    After at least 30 minutes, if:
    The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
    The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
    Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
    If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
    If the display turns on, go to step 4.
    If the display remains black, go to next step.
    Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
    If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
    Best,
    Jeremy

  • MacBook Pro won't get past Apple logo during boot

    Hey, recently while I was using on my MacBook Pro (note: just simply browsing the internet), the battery ran dry and the computer shut down almost immediately. When I plugged it in and turned on the computer again, the familiar Apple logo appeared and looked as though it would start up normally. However, an unfamiliar grey progress bar appeared and the usual grey gear started spinning. The progress bar looks as though it reaches up 10-15% completed but the computer just shuts down after that every time. I know it has nothing to do with the charge in the battery as I tried doing it plugged in and even waiting overnight for the battery to charge fully with the plug plugged in.
    So, I tried using Disk Utility on the Snow Leopard Install disc (my original MacBook Pro install discs had Leopard on it so I just used the Snow Leopard discs instead). After using the "Verify Disk" command on the Macintosh HD volume, it stated that 'Invalid node structure' and then stated that the disk could not be verified and needed repair. I then proceeded with using 'Repair Disk' and it did say 'Volume repair complete' but then stated 'Updating boot support partitions for the volume as required.' This was when an error popped up and said "Error: Disk Utility can't repair this disk" and then told me to back up my files and reformat the disk.
    I'm hoping that I don't have to reformat the disk as I haven't backed up in a while. I do have a separate partition on the hard drive that has Windows 7 on it that I can boot to. At least that means my hard drive hasn't completely died on me. However, I'm unsure what to do at this point to fix the computer. I tried to Safe Boot but it didn't change the outcome of start up.
    Any ideas as to what I can do? I appreciate any help.

    Thanks for the replies! Anyway, I gave DiskWarrior a try and it failed to work. The first time I tried it, I put the disc into the drive of my MacBook Pro and booted it from the disc. After going through the rebuild process it told me that due to a hard drive malfunction it couldn't append any changes to the drive. I then tried putting the disk into my iMac and used my MacBook Pro in Target Disk mode. This wouldn't even attempt to rebuild my drive saying that there was a hardware failure.
    So, I booted into Windows 7 and saw that Windows was able to access the drive and read the files perfectly. All the files were in tact. I don't understand why disk warrior had a problem with it. Anyway, what I can do is reinstall Mac OS X Snow Leopard onto the hard drive again after moving the data onto an external hard drive using Windows. The only problem is that I would have to reinstall all of my programs while reimporting all of the settings and data that I can from the external hard drive. What I want to know is can I make an image of my hard drive (with SuperDuper?), and append that back onto my Mac's hard drive? Would that work again after reformatting the disk or would it just give me the same problems as before? Would it be better or easier to just start new and reinstall everything? Thanks!
