Application Failed

My software application is a accounting application, where nearly 100 no.of branch users using the system concurrently.
I used Glass Fish app server for creating database connection pool. pool size is 200. Application open the db connection for the pool.
My problem is when the users are logging to the system i got the error message "Back end start up failed. Too many clients already". I am 100% sure that all the opened db connection closed properly inside finally block.
Also max_connection parameter of the db server is set to 700.
Database is postgresql.
Can u help me to solve this problem?

noone can help you with interpreting custom error messages from your application, you'll have to figure out where they come from yourself.

Same problem today. Took five times to reinstall without any error messages. Apple has posted a way to fix and you should follow their's first. I finally got to upldate correctly by doing their fix but with one difference. I did the following:
1) Went to the C:\program files (x86)\iTunes and C:\program files\iTunes folders and moved every file ending in .dll to the desktop (even if two files in same location had the same name, just replace)
2) Restarted computer and still got error message
3) Uninstalled all apple programs possible in the following order......itunes, apples software update, apple mobile device support, bonjour, and apple application support.....all performed using the microsoft control panel
4) put all the .dll files on the desktop in the trash and emptied (this is a step apple support did not specifically put in their fix but for a final try I wanted to delete everything apple).
5) Restarted computer.
6) Re-installed itunes from apple website
No error messages during re-install and was able to open shortcut in one try. Even updated my ipad to make sure everything was working.

Premiere Elements 11 application fail

Recently purchased Premiere Elements 11 as an upgrade to Elements 9 installed on my windows 7, core i5 PC. The application seemed to install OK but the desktop short cut failed as did trying to activate from c:/programs/adobe. I uninstalled and downloaded again - fail. I followed one of the question strings on Adobe Community and found out about dependency walker. I downloaded the program, did a dependency check and recieved the following warnings:
Error: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a mising export function in an implicitly depended module.
Error: Modules with differnt CPU types were found.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved inport due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.
I am not a technocrat. I am a basic consumer. I have no idea what this means or how to fix it. Do I need a computer expert to sort this problem out?

Thank you for the response Jeff. I do not receive any error messages from Premiere Elements. The install process appeared to work ok. I got the standard sort of prompt commands, the install program selected the directory in C drive, the install program set up the shortcut icon on the desktop and I clicked finish at the end. There was nothing obvious to indicate an install problem - but the application fails to activate when the shortcut is clicked or if I select the program through windows, start button, all programs, premiere elements.
Dependency Walker is a free program for Microsoft Windows used to list the imported and exported functions of a portable executable file. It also displays a recursive tree of all the dependencies of the executable file (all the files it requires to run). The program was suggested for use in one of the Adobe community forums discussion threads. I used it, it told me there were errors, they mean nothing to me as a non-technocrat and I dont know where ot go next. However, I will try the troubleshoot-install-logs link you included and see if that gets me closer to a solution. Thanks again.

It does not seem to interfere with the normal operation of Photoshop Elements, but it is a constant annoyance.

That DLL is part of your printer driver; reinstall or update the device driver for your printer, and the message should go away.

Firefox 3.5 was downloaded fine, but when I try to open firefox page, "the application failed to initialize properly" error sign comes up.

Usually someone has been down the track before and occasionally they post some useful details which may help others to investigate and/or eliminate factors in their particular case.
This AccessibleMarshal.dll error seems to have a long history --- posts from 2006 with early Firefox versions had issues similar to yours.

particularly since it mentions the problem would occur on a clean install (no previous instance of Firefox on the system and Windows before Vista --??)

Global Correlation and Application Failed

Hi, People.
I have IPS4270-20-K9 with version 7.0(3)E4 and signature version 572.
In Sensor Health show me a problem critical, with:
- Application Failed
- Global Correlation
sensor#sh statistics global-correlation
Error: getGlobalCorrelationStatistics : ct-collaborationApp.459 not responding, please check system processes - The connect to the specified Io::ClientPipe failed.
How do I resolve these problems?

That error message indicates that one of the software processes required for the Global Correlation feature (CollaborationApp) is not responding (stopped/crashed, hung, etc.). You will need to reboot ("reset") the sensor to restore the process to a "Running" status.
There are multiple defects present in the version of software you are running (7.0(3)E4) that are likely culprits/causes that were fixed in subsequent releases (7.0(4)E4 and 7.0(5a)E4). After you have rebooted the sensor and restored it to service, you can upgrade to a fixed release (7.0(5a)E4).
