Tables associated with DataSource!

Hi friends! i am trying to create an ODS for Delta which extrac data from Infosource 0CO_0M_OPA_6 (actual). while creating ODS, i have to gives key fields. The problem is that i dont know what are the key fields. we can find out the key fields if we know the name of the tables by going to se11. but i dont know what are the tables DataSource 0CO_0M_OPA_6 extract data from. could some one tell me how to find out the tables connected to specif datasource to find out the key fields to be put in ODS?

Manmit
Actually we will assign Keyfields and data fields depends on our design not with the tables. For example in your report controlling area and document number are the keys you assign them to key fields.
Please check this Data Model for 0CO_0M_OPA_6

Please check this document to identify the tables for the Datasource

  • How to find out all the tables associated with particular T-code or Program

    Hi All,
    In 4.6B we have a transaction code SE49, where we can see all the tables associated with particular Transaction code or Program.
    But in ECC 5.0 or in ECC 6.0 this transaction code is not available.So is there any alternative where i can find out all the tables associated with particular T-code or Program.
    Thanks
    Shubham

    Hi,
    you are right, Transaction SE49 as well as SE48 do not exist anymore I'm afraid, they
    are discontinued.
    You might try to create a transaction variant:
    1) Start SE93 to create a transaction variant
    2) Specify a name, eg. ZSE49, and choose the first option:
       "program and screen (dialog transaction)
    3) Here specify SAPMSEUZ as program, and 200 as screen number
    4) Choose a suitable development class (package) if you want it to be
       transportable or Local (=$TMP) if non-transportable
    5) press Save
    Same applies for SE48, same program but dynpro 100.
    Sorry for not being able the reasons behind the decision to discontinue
    these transactions. I suppose at least part of the functionality was
    integrated in SE38.

  • How to find Tables Associated with User Exit

    Hi All,
    I have an User Exit userexit_availabilty_out in RV03Vfzz.
    How do i know the tables and feilds associated with taht exist.
    In case of a Function exit i can find out from import Parameters, but how can i find in this case.
    Pl Do reply.
    Cheers,
    Manohar

    You need to find out which SAP program uses this as include. You can do that by doing WhereUsed on Abap include RV03VFZZ in transaction SE38.
    After you found out the main program, use transaction SE80 and display that program. Then click on Fields object and you will see all global variables that are accessible in your user exit.

  • Table Associations with sqlite-net wrapper

    Hi all,
    I am just looking for some code samples that shows associations between tables. I am right now using the sqlite-net wrapper and the SQLite for Windows Phone 8.1 SDK.
    Just a glimpse of how I insert data into a table. Could somebody explain how do I do insertions, selections or deletions if I have associations setup between tables?
    using (var db = new SQLiteConnection(databasePath))
    var shift = db.Query<Schedule>("select * from Schedule where Date = ?", theSelectedDate.Date).FirstOrDefault();
    if (shift != null)
    shift.jobOne = 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    shift.theSliderStartValueJobOne = sliderShiftStartPopup.Value;
    shift.theSliderEndValueJobOne = sliderShiftEndPopup.Value; }
    db.RunInTransaction(() =>
    db.Update(shift);
    Thanks for having a look!
    Thanks, Sumesh

    Hello
    Have you tried another SQLite wrappers?
    I personally use SQL-PCL by Microsoft Open Technologies in all of my projects (which sometimes contains multiple tables and relationships). It is a low-level wrapper (it needs using raw SQL statements), but it gives you full control of what is done at the
    database-level and its API is extremely easy to use.
    You can get it here:
    https://sqlitepcl.codeplex.com/
    or via NuGet.
    And how to use it is greatly explained in this Channel9 video:
    http://channel9.msdn.com/Series/Building-Apps-for-Windows-Phone-8-1/19
    I hope this helps

  • Table associated with ODS that gives number of records added

    Hi Friends,
    I am looking for a db table that has information similar to that in the 'Request' tab of ODS Manage. Most importantly I am looking for the number of records added for a given request.
    Thank you for your inputs
    Deepthi

    Hi Deepthi,
    Refer the RSMONFACT table with the ODS's technical name. The field REQ_INSERT_SUM would give the no. of records added. The field IC_ID would take both cube and ODS name.

  • Sun java Creator, Table component vanishes when associating with the table

    I am trying to develop JSF page with a table component and associating a table (users) to the table component.
    I have created datasource and i can see the data in the SQL editor in Sun Java Creator.
    But when i try to associate the table component with the table(users).
    I table component vanishes.
    I dont understand what is the problem.
    Can anybody help me.

    The default theme is localized. If you look at <Creator-install>/rave2.0/modules/ext/locale
    you should see the localized default theme jars. Not sure which locale you are. You can put your localized jar here. Add the localized jar to your web application via library manager for it to be included in the deployed war file

  • Need to know schema name and table name associated with a column-URGENT

    Hi folks,
    I need to know the schema name and the table name associated with a column. Though jdbc has the api to getTableName and getSchemaName, some database vendor like oracle does return empty upon call of mentioned methods. I found that oracle driver does not support that ……
    Can any one give me the solution? It is urgent. Or do you suggest any third pary jdbc driver which can provide those?
    Thanks
    Angelina

    Angelina,
    Your question has been discussed several times previously in this forum. Search this forum's archives for "getTableName". Oracle JDBC driver does not implement this (because "it is not feasible" -- according to Oracle).
    First of all, I would suggest that you could probably change your application's logic so that you would not need this functionality (but I guess that is not feasible either, right :-)
    Alternatively, you could try querying the Oracle database data dictionary.
    Good Luck,
    Avi.

  • Links associated with a table of names/ids

    Is there a better way to do this in faces?
    My page has a table of names, I wish to associate a modify/delete actions with each one, allowing the user to just click say the modify link on one and end up in a page to modify that entry. I ended up generate the links as something like:
    <table>
    <tr>
    <h:form>
    <input name="scoutId" type="hidden" value="${scoutBean.scoutId}"/>
    <h:commandLink action="#{scoutListActionBean.doModify}" value="Modify Scout"/>
    </h:form>
    </td>
    <td>
    <h:form>
    <input name="scoutId" type="hidden" value="${scoutBean.scoutId}"/>
    <h:commandLink action="#{scoutListActionBean.doRemove}" value="Remove Scout"/>
    </h:form>
    </tr>
    </table>
    Then in my action routine, I find the value associated with the request paramter "scoutId" to prepopulate the next modify/delete page.
    This seemed pretty clumsy to me, anybody got a better way?

    Yes. Try DBA_TRIGGER_COLS (or the USER, ALL variants)

       now we want to know all the entries made in the table are associated with transport request or not.
      how to do it programmatically?? is there any function module which gives the result for transport object associated with the table entries ?????
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Use the table <b>E071K</b>
    in se16 give :
    request number in TRKORR
    Table name in OBJNAME
    in the filed TABKEY u will get the <b>values of the key fields</b> in the table
    by comparing the key fields u can find out the enrties related to the request number
    Please let me know if i am not clear

  • Adding/removing many-to-many associations with intersection tables

    Hello,
    I am using Jdeveloper 11g with ADFBC.
    I have some many to many associations in my application. For example User and Category are associated and there is an intersection entity (UserCategory - Columns are UserId, CategoryId) to save these associations.
    What is the correct method for adding or removing categories assigned to user?
    Thanks.
    Edited by: Deniz Gulmez on 01-Nov-2009 03:25

    I found an example for Jdeveloper 10g, which is discussed [ADF] Adding/deleting entries in a many-to-many relationship
    In that example, many-to-many association is defined as two 1-to-many associations. Actually i've been searching since last week for an example which is made with many-to-many associations but no help. I will change my Model structure if it is not an efficient way to define many-to-many associations with intersection tables.
    I wonder if it is possible to write some methods like :
    addCategoryToUser(String userId, String categoryId)
    removeCategoryToUser(String userId, String categoryId)
    addCategories(String userId, List categoryIds)
    vs.
    Of course i am able to do these by creating a new Row in UserCategoryView (Intersection view), setting it's attributes and saving. Or the opposite, finding the row in intersection table and deleting it.
    For example:
    public void removeCategoryFromUser(String userId, String categoryId){
    ViewObjectImpl vo = this.getUserCategories1();
    vo.setWhereClause("USER_ID = :userId AND CATEGORY_ID = :categoryId");
    vo.defineNamedWhereClauseParam("userId", null, null);
    vo.defineNamedWhereClauseParam("categoryId", null, null);
    vo.setNamedWhereClauseParam("userId", userId);
    vo.setNamedWhereClauseParam("categoryId", categoryId);
    vo.executeQuery();
    Row row = vo.first();
    row.remove();
    I wonder if there is a more efficient way. Any samples would be appreciated.

  • Segmens associated with the table

    Hi,
    in 10g R2 , in OEM grid (or DB control) how can I see the segmens associated with a table ?
    Thank you.

    user522961 wrote:
    thank Viendra, but as a dba I should know also use OEM grid, should'nt I ?
    how can I see the segmens associated with a table ?Well, as a dba , you must know what Segment or Extent basically mean as well! Where do you think that this information would be stored and why? What does it mean even by "segments associated with a table" ? If you had said extents, it would had made some sense but IMHO, what you said isn't an appropriate statement.
    For GUI, either DBC or GC( both are same when you come to the Administration page), search for tables and that's all about it.

  • Refresh the object associated with a Row in a Data Control?

    I am using EclipseLink & have an issue with multiple updates of the same Row. During an update, a new instance of the entity is returned by the update method. The instance bound to the Row is not updated with this new version and subsequent updates fail with an optimistic locking exception since the entityVersion hasn't been updated.
    Question: Is it possible to refresh the instance associated with a data control Row? I can remove rows, create rows, but it is not apparent to me how to update a row. I am trying to avoid doing a full retrieve on the bound iterator.

    Hi!
    The issue here is, by my opinion, a gap between ADFm and EJB 3.0 in use-cases with large data sets. If you search this forum, you may find related thread by Pedja about problem of feasible "scrollable" af:table with large number of entities in EJB finder result list. Unfortunately, the ADFm "paged" fetching is in mismatch with EJB support for "paged" (or scrollable) results lists. The all results of EJB finder method are retrieved from data source, stored in memory (thus breaking the heap) and transferred to ADF datacontrol. Then, and only then, ADFm paged fetching and caching mechanisms are employed – but they are just cosmetics as the main data set is permanently stored in memory as List<?>. The workaround is, as Pedja discovered, to write completely proprietary TableCollectionModel which completely evades ADFm and is implemented by set of EJB Session methods for paged acces to datasource through TopLink and native database queries (enabling retrieval of particular range of rows instead a complete result set). Of course, this is very complex coding experience and I find it a not acceptable for efficient development of modern applications on ADF + EJB stack, especially as it brakes a technology independence promoted by EJB and EclipseLink and other standards-based technologies (as you have to use database-specific native query implementation for paged /scrollable access!).
    What I want to say is that I have feeling that ADF support for EJB is not complete in full extend and that ADFm is still much better suited for BCs then for EJBs. I hope that this will be solved in future as this issue may pose a significant issue on application development in enterprise-level area where it is supposed that we are dealing with BROWSING also a large data sets.
    Yes, I emphasize a BROWSING as I strongly oppose a dogmatic approach that SEARCHING is a solution for every use-case. From theory of information, the system SHOULD NOT limit the user in accessing ALL information (based on access rights, of course). So the idea that SEARCH forms should be used to bridge a architectural gap between a ADFm and EJB is not acceptable, as the search MAY limit the user in acquiring the information he (or she) is not able to describe in adequate manner based on search criteria offered by the developer. So, the developer may be responsible for misinformation of user, by limiting his access to information, jus for technology limitations of ADFm which forces a development of purely SEARCH-based functionalities.
    I hope that development team would appreciate and consider this remarks, and invest effort in closing (not bridging!) the gap between ADFm and EJB.

    PaKo

    Regards,
    MKMOHANTY

    I suffered a similar situation, the solution I found was edit the file named "system-jazn-data.xml" and remove the entries that correspond to the role (expected to be delete). Of course take the precautions before do this actions (backup the file and do it in an test scenario).
    Regards.
