Application Mgr Sign-in button disabled

I finally pulled the trigger and signed up for the cloud last night.  Got billed for the first month.  I already had Photoshop CS6 and LR 4, and wanted to use some other apps and the new features only available via CC.
Initial experience is very frustrating.  I went to download AI, it downloaded the new Application manager which installed, but when it started I see this:
Note the disabled Sign In button. This is disabled whether or not anything is entered for the adobe id and password.
I tried the chat to support last night at around 10:30 pm on Saturday, and was told that there were 'server problems' and was told to try again in 2-3 hours.  I woke up at 5:00 am, and still the same thing.  This doesn't feel like a server problem since I wouldn't even expect it to talk to the servers until I clicked the button which is disabled.
HELP!!!!!

RubyRedRick,
I checked your adobe id and it seems to be fine. Seems like the Adobe Application Manager(AAM) was not updated properly or may be somthing is intrupting it.
What sort of environment are you working on? Is it a part of any office network/domain or a home network?
Which operating system do you have?
Do you use any sort of firewall or security software?
Lets follow the below steps to Re-insall AAM and check:
>> Download and install the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
>> Extract and run it.
>> Select "e" for English.
>> Hit "Y" for Yes if asked.
>> Select Option 3 for Creative Cloud.
>> Then select Option 1 for Creative Cloud Installer.
>> Rename the OOBE folder to OOBE OLD from :
      Mac: MAC HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
      Win: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\
>> Also, If there is a process running named 'AAM Update Notifier' or 'AAM Registration Notifier' . Kill those processes and try to install Adobe Application Manager again and check.
>> Download and Install the latest version of Adobe Application Manager from the below link :
      Windows: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773
      Mac: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774
Please answer the above questions, in case of same issue.

  • Applications Sync button disable

    I have an iPhone 3G, software version 2.1, iTunes version 8.01.11.
    I cannot sync applications anymore. In iTunes at applications tab the "Sync Applications" check box is disabled. I tried different settings to enable it but without any luck. I even uninstalled iTunes and install it again, with the same result.
    If I buy a new application, I can see it in Applications tab, but everything is disabled.
    I can sync music, videos etc. only applications sync is not working.
    Has anybody else encountered the same problem?

    I have the same issue, but for an iPod Touch. Everything to do with applications is grayed out, and I can't change any settings to sync the applications with my Touch.
    I couldn't find any controls, including any restrictions, that would prohibit my selecting any of the boxes.
    All software is up to date: 2.2 on the touch; 10.5.6 on the MacBook.

  • How to set button disabled property based on backing bean method

    JDeveloper 12c
    I have a table and a button on the page. When user selects certain table row I want to enable/disable the button.
    My backing bean (which has backing bean scope in the task flow where the page is) is
    package view.backing;
    public class Studybrowse {
        public Studybrowse() {
        public String b1_action() {
              //Do something here
            return null;
       public boolean b1_user_auth(){
           // Do something here to return true or false
            return true;
    My button is something like this:
    <af:button text="Do something" id="b4" action="#{backingBeanScope.Studybrowse.b1_action}"
                   disabled="#{backingBeanScope.Studybrowse.b1_user_auth THIS DOES NOT WORK}"
                   partialTriggers="t1"/>
    The first problem is in design time, it says: "Reference backingBeanScope.Studybrowse.b1_user_auth not found"
    and in runtime, desired behavior does not work.
    Any help is appreciated

    Timo:
    I changed my backing bean method like this:
        public Boolean isUserAuthorized(){
            // some code here that will return true or false, hardcode to true for now
            return true;
    and the button disabled property like this:
               <af:button text="Go to Reports!" id="b5" action="#{backingBeanScope.Studybrowse.b1_action}"
                           disabled="#{backingBeanScope.Studybrowse.isUserAuthorized}"
                           partialTriggers="t1"/>
    Still same problem in design time there is a warning and 500 error in runtime.

  • Javascript application this function has been disabled. need to enable it so i can clear my history

    javascript application this function has been disabled, I need to enable it to clear history

    A likely cause of the first issue is that you are first closing all Firefox windows and then close the Firefox application.
    Some have reported that closing Firefox (Firefox > Quit) while the browser window is still open works for them.
    *Bug 845681 - Closing all windows and quitting Firefox afterwards leads to about:sessionrestore to be shown on next startup
    For the second issue try this:
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
    *Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

  • Desktop App "Sign in" button doesn't work...why?

    When I open Adobe Story from my desktop application (whether connected to the internet or not) the program comes up just fine but when I click the "Sign In" button, nothing happens.
    The "Learn more" button does work by taking me online, but I can click the "Sign in" button over and over and absolutely nothing happens. The button acts as if it is being clicked on, but there is no recognition by the program.
    I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the program but that does not seem to help. Adobe Air is up to date.

    If she's just using the browser to access Yahoo mail, it should work.
    Though, if the signin button doesn't "click" on the yahoo site, that would be some error of Yahoo, not the BlackBerry.

  • SAPGUI (new session) button disable in Netweaver

    Hi all,
    I have a few users where their SAPGUI's "New Session" button is disable if they launch it via Netweaver (single-sign on). However, if they sign in to another computer, this issue did not arise.
    Likewise, any user that sign in to this particular PC will have it's "Net Session" button disabled.
    They are using Internet Explorer 7 version 7.0.5730.13
    My Netweaver version is SAP Netweaver 7.0 (2004s) SPS 15 (Release March 2008)
    I'm just wondering (confirming) if the reason behind this is because of compatibilty between Netweaver and Internet Explorer (similar to compatibility issue between Netweaver & Internet Explorer 8 earlier this year)?
    Or could it be due to a different (older) version of Java Runtime Environment that is installed onto the user's computer?
    Thank you.

    Hello,
    I think that SAP Note 1258154 - "EP 7.0: Different behavior for SAP WinGUI in the portal " could help :

  • Return remote button disabled

    I'm having trouble getting the Return remote control button to behave in a DVD that I'm authoring. If I set the Return button at the disc level to call a script that does some conditional jumps, then when I play the DVD in the simulator, the Return button is disabled during playback of tracks. It's also disabled when I play the DVD using Apple's DVD Player application. (The Menu button is set to call the same script and it works fine.) Similarly, if I just set the Return button to call the main menu directly, I still have the Return button disabled (get a "Not Permitted" message when playing in Apple DVD Player, for example.)
    I have looked at the User Operations at the track level, and nothing is disabled there. Is there somewhere else the source of this problem could be hiding?
    Thanks,
    --JV

    Yep... the Return button is not well implemented in DVDSP and I'd go so far as to say that you're probably better off not using it.
    The return button is designed to allow you to navigate the disc hierarchy... it is more properly called the 'go up' button... taking you from where you are back up one 'level'. In fact it really doesn't do this very well at all, and hasn't since v1. Trai Forrester wrote a pretty good article about it, but for the life of me I can't find it now.
    You'll need to find a way around the issue - like adding logical buttons on each menu to help with the navigation.

  • My website is developed in angula js, when I login with the password that is saved in browser(Remember password) does not respond when click on sign in button

    When enter username & move to next field, password is shown in encrypted format when click on login/sign in button it does not get login & does not even show any error message. The same functionality works in Google Chrome browser.

    Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? <br />

  • How do I sign out of my account after logging in? There is no sign out button when signing into my apple account using safari

    Every time I sign into my apple ID account online I cannot log out by clicking a "sign out" button.
    This is quite strange. Closing the browser window doesn't automatically log me out either.
    I know with itunes there is a sign out or log out button but not with signing in your account online.
    I had to change some personal information which is why I noticed it.

    I'm on a PC.  Maybe that makes a difference.  And I went directly to apple.com; I did not launch the store from Itunes -- so perhaps that's the difference.
    Whatever it is I am never presented with a command bar that looks anything like yours.
    The following image is from when I am actually accessing my account data:
    No log-in; no screenname; no log-out -- And yet I am in a secure domain.

  • Yahoo mail page sign-in button no longer works

    I suddenly can't sign into my yahoo accounts on my iPad 1.  It seems the sign-in button no longer works, when I tap it or use the "go" button, nothing happens - no error message, nothing.  I've re-set the iPad and I still can't sign in.  I can get to all of the other Yahoo web pages, just not my mail.  I can sign into other websites no problem.  Any suggestions?  Is my iPad now completely obsolete?
    I can sign in without a problem on my iMac.
    Thanks,
    Kathleen

    Reset your iPad. This will do no harm and you will not lose any data. See if that works. If not, clear Safari and then try again.
    Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
    Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data.

  • IOS 6.1.3 WIFI button disable problem on iPhone4S - It is definitely a BUG

    Hi Apple Fans
    I have a full house of Apple products from iPhone -> iPAD -> iPod -> Mac -> AirPort, and I am suffering from WIFI button disable problem after upgrade to iOS 6.1.3, without any clue after calling Apple Support, factory reset and reload iPhone for more than 10 times.  I also try all tips on Apple Support Communicties except put it into a freezer, still no any luck.  Apple Support suggests that my iPhone may be factly!
    Tonight, I can get my WIFI back in below sequence:
    1. Switch to English language from Chinese
    2. Turn Cellular Data Option to off
    3. Reset Network Setting
    After the phone reset, the WIFI row show 'Not Connected', and I can select my home WIFI (Airport Express) without trouble.  To prove my finding is workable to all case, can you try the same and update here if it works for you?
    Good Luck!
    PS: I always believe it is a BUG.

    Hi,
    I sympathise with you as my iPhone 4s is 7 months old and is also greyed out.  I tried everthing except the potentially stupid one of putting the iphone in a freezer!  I took the phone back to the vendor who sent it away and repaired it.  But alas after a month it is greyed out again.  I have again returned to the vendor and he will repair it again.  I asked him how and he told me it is a software conflict and he has to spend around 9 hours downloading a patch repair.  Apple are aware of this issue and I feel completely let down because they have not posted a fix on the net.  Presently I am living and working in Dubai, back in the UK I am sure my iPhone would have been exchanged for a new one.  I need my iPhone for my work and cannot afford to just buy a new one so I have been let down and despite for years being a supporter of Apple and their products I shall think twice before investing in any more Apple products.
