How do I sign out of my account after logging in? There is no sign out button when signing into my apple account using safari
Every time I sign into my apple ID account online I cannot log out by clicking a "sign out" button.
This is quite strange. Closing the browser window doesn't automatically log me out either.
I know with itunes there is a sign out or log out button but not with signing in your account online.
I had to change some personal information which is why I noticed it.
I'm on a PC. Maybe that makes a difference. And I went directly to apple.com; I did not launch the store from Itunes -- so perhaps that's the difference.
Whatever it is I am never presented with a command bar that looks anything like yours.

There is no "pay now" button when signing up
When signing up, and trying to purchase credit, the "pay now" button does not appear. That is true whether I select a card or paypal. I'd like to buy the credit, but no can do without the button.
I used another computer and it worked as it should have. It may be that my first try (Tuesday) was from my personal computer with Windows 8.1 and the latter try (today, Thursday) was from my office where we have Windows 7. Perhaps the problem is that it is not up to snuff when trying to use with Windows 8.1. FWIW, I am OK now.

I have tried to log into my apple account so I can download my songs onto my iPhone. It keeps telling me my apple id is disabled. I've tried resetting my password but that did not work. How can I fix this?
After resetting your password you might then need to log out of your account on your device by phone on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores if it's on iOS 6) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it

Restore back up of my iPhone-password not recognised. After restore, itunes can not restore because it says the password is incorrect. But I can sign into my apple account with the password. My iPhone is now set to factory settings as a new phone, what can i do to access the back up from my phone before I reset it.
That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

Mac App Store Won't Sign Me Into My Apple Account
Today, I was going to download and install an app from the Mac App Store. So, I opened the App Store, found the app, and clicked download and then install. Of course, it popped up the box to sign into my Apple account. I typed in my e-mail and password and click "sign in". It began its little turning-circle "loading" icon on the little box (not the beach ball). But nothing ever happened. After 15 minutes, I forced quit App Store and tried again. Again, same thing. I did this a total of three times. So, I decided not to touch it and just let it run its course. Well, it's been at least four hours now, and no change. Still "signing in", but nothing's happening. Has anyone else had this problem? Because I can't find anything anywhere about this on the discussions site. Help! Please!
Go to Settings > Store and sign-out. Sign-in again using your Apple ID. Of course this won't help if the apps were purchased using your friend's ID.

Reader doesn't need your credit card. You can sign into your account in the Adobe store and look in at your subscriptions. There may be something there to store your card information if you have a subscription service.

I upgraded to OS7 and then found a new gmail account on my iPad. It has put all my ntlworld emails into this new account and says they are all unread. How can I delete this unwanted account?
If his Gmail account is under the Gmail app and press the app until it wiggles then press the extra deleted. If this account is under the Apple email and then you can go to Settings, mail contacts calendars and then select the account and remove it.

Make sure to quit all open applications before logging out.
Your proflie indicates your Mac has v10.7.1 installed.
If that is the case, updating your system software will help as far as functionaly as well as security.
Install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.5 (Client Combo)
Then restart your Mac.

I never heard of that. Did it include a link to click on? Did you click on it?
Can you post the headers from that email? That will help determine if it really came from iTunes
Since it also went to your SPAM folder it sure sounds like SPAM

i just got a new iphone 4 for att and my friend installed the sim card in it for me. the imessage function isnt connecting with the my cell number. a while back i had logged into my apple account on someone elses cell phone and their number keeps showing. when i try to just select my number to send and recieve imessages from it will not show up. i can send and recieve regular text but not pictures or imessage. i have tried logging off and restarting and nothing has worked.help please!!
