I have configured appraisal templates ( Objective Settings and appraisal).
I have released the templates, but I can not view the templates in Web lay out I am getting the following error.

Hi Sunil
this is due to no FQDN used while running BSP application.
make sure that u run the BSP application using FQDN,
the solution is run make following parameter entry in R3 using RZ10.
icm/host_name_full ---> r3host.domain.com
look at following weblog.

    I am facing issue releated to Business Event Appraisal Functionality in ESS. I have maintained value as blank in field HAP00 REPLA switch.
    We have created I View of transacion PV7I in ESS. When i am selecting "APPRAISAL" button for attended event , i can select appraisal form from appraisal form list. On next screen i don't get Appraisal Form where i have to give feedback on different criteria's. I get Rating column and four buttons: Save, Check data, back, Complete.
    When i am executing PV7i through R3 then it's working properly. Why it is not working properly in ESS. Kindly help me ?

    My client needs INSTRCUCTOR feedback functionality means feedback for instructors by participants for particular event. How we can configure in the system for TEM module not for LSO.

    Unfortunately the appraisal services (my_appraisals, my_app_create, my_appraisalsm) have not been migrated for the use with integrated ITS.
    Please review SAP notes 870126 and 771196
    Note:
    Since the appraisal services (My_appraisals, My_app_create) have not
    been migrated, you can no longer use the appraisal function from the
    services PV7I and PV8I with the integrated ITS.
    At the same time I am afraid the succession product is not an option
    for you as the TEM functionality is not integrated with the new
    appraisal functionality of 'Performance Management'. Performance
    Management only offers an integration with the succession product of
    TEM, i.e. LSO (Learning Solution).

  • Appraisal in Training and event management

    Hallo Experts,
    In the ESS portal during appraisal of a certain BE, the Appraisal form does not appear. The Name of the Appraisal model appear on the portal but NOT the form itself where the user input data. (the criteria groups and criterions.)
    I am using the ITS service PV8I .
    The BET for the BE has correct event appraisal model as shown in its Relationship infotype.
    Is this a problem with the SAP or the portal itself?

    Note:
    Since the appraisal services (My_appraisals, My_app_create) have not

  • Error encountered while attaching a document in an appraisal

    Hi Experts,
    Good day. I have enabled or allowed an attachment to be included in an appraisal but I am getting this error while attaching a document "Read error during PC upload (header of the pop-up box), Include file in PC application Try Again? Yes / No / Cancel (message contents)". Any inputs as to why I got this error? I also checked table T77S0 for GENER/OBJSV and it shows with the value of 1 meaning it is activated, right? One more thing, do you also have an idea as to why I am getting this warning message for the description of the appraisal template: "You have maintained a description that is not displayed." It allows me save but I just want to know why this happens and what do I need to do for it not to appear because the client may get back to me and ask the same thing. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated. Please help.

    did you install jacob ? with the correct version number described in the installation-guides.
    jacob is not an oracle tool, which normally is only useful for COM-commands against windows.
    What did you do with the image?

  • Issue in retrival of Old Appraisal system template

    Dear Expert,
    landscape :ecc 6 , business package 1.41
    Currently i am facing a problem in ESS/MSS regarding extracting old appraisal template.the scenario is currently old and new (objective setting and appraisal ) both are available at server . i activated old appraisal system but again system is no extracting appraisal data of the subordinates ,using path data Mss -> Team - > Personnel development -> Appraisals .
    then i created an iview with BSP using HAP_Document but system is extracting new appraisal templete rather than old one.
    Please let me know the solution as it is an urgent .

    Dear Expert,
    I took the follwoing steps
    1. In the customization i use the subcomponent Appraisal Systems, this corresponds to the switch position <SPACE>.
    2. in the portal content i create a new iview using template BSP based view, i gave the BSP application name : HAP_Document and start page name : Documents_todo.htm (for create purpose) , Documents_recieved_open (for display purpose)
    3. in the customization i define the Iview path .
    then execute the system , in the case of creation system showing new appraisal templates and in the case of view system is not showing the appraisals against employees .
    Please advise wht to do .

  • Question over the appraisal status change

    Dear All,
    Our appraisal has ( following the flexible template ) has planning, mid year review and final phases. With in each main status we have sub status configured. Example - In the planning stage ( say in the month of February ) , employee add objectives, change weights etc and send to manager for approval. If manager approves, the document status will be changed from planning  to mid year status and employee's form is changed to the display mode ( so he cannot update objectives / weight etc)
    Then again in the mid year  status ( say a few months later - June ist ), the employee needs to review the appraisal, add or update the objectives etc and submit for manager approval.
    My issue is -  After the employee's appraisal form is changed to display only from planning to review status - How the employee's appraisal  form can be changed from a read only to change mode in the same status ? As it is necessary for employee to add/ update in the form.
    I am seeking the best approaches for the below as I am considering two options ( as mentioned below )
    1)   For the  mid year status  , I will configure a sub status ( called start mid year ) and attach a push button. The employee select the push button during the mid year  period ( say June 1st ) and this push button triggers the status change from Mid year to Mid Year / Start Mid year. We also plan to apply a custom implementation for  BADI for column access and badi  (HRHAP00_COL_ACCESS) will decide the access control for columns etc.
    2) The other approach I am considering is we are considering a workflow (INFO_APPRAISEE_CHANGE_REVIEW ) to notify th employee 7 days before the mid year review starts. Can this workflow trigger the status change or read the column access from the BADI (HRHAP00_COL_ACCESS) ?
    Any other simpler approaches ?
    I saw in the Process config ( tabs and process ) that we can define the phase with dates and status / substatus etc. Can this be useful for the above scenario. For eg. On June 1st when the mid year review start, can the status be changed  like from Mid year  to Mid Year / Start Mid year ?

    Hi Aneez, both options are great,   HRHAP00_COL_ACCESS is configurable at each sub-status, so you have many options.  You can have the manager "approve" at beginning of year, but keep it in "in planning" by having a 3rd sub-status.
    You can have the employee or manager have access to the pushbutton so that mid-term can start. 
    you can also do a workflow option where it is changed automatically, your option 2.
    the final option is the HR adminstrator can change the status, by doing a mass select in phap_admin and then they change to the status to move it to "in review" with all of your mid-term substatuses. 
    they key to making this work is the additional config that goes along with HRHAP00_COL_ACCESS.  here you will want to do define a Z table with the following columns:
    object id - your template ID
    role - which are the same roles values defined at your template - apee for apraisee
    template status - integer - represents status ID
    template sub-status - ID
    column id - FAPP, OBJO, etc..
    availability indicator (char) - here you will configure H, X etc... which the badi uses to know how to handle it.

  • HAP_DOCUMENT Appraisal. How to autofill cells?

    Hi to every one!
    First of all I want to thanks to everyone who have been helping me. I've done several of questions about the HAP_DOCUMENT BSP application and I always have an answer that solved my problem or leads me to solve it by my one. So Thank you very very much to all of you.
    Now.
    What I'm trying to do is to autofill some cells of my template after I press on button I've create and I'm showing at the "In Process" status.
    I complete by hand a couple of cells and I need to show some data in another cell calculated from the one complete by hand before.
    I'm using a copy of the HRHAP00_VAL_DET_007 implementation to autocomplete some cells in a custom column when I change my status from "In Preparation" to "In Planning" (when the In Planning template shows up I get some values from a table depending on the appraise ID) and its works ok. But it seems that this implementation does not work when I'm "In Process" to complete my cells of another custom column that are only shown in this status.
    Does anyone know how can I do this?.

    Yes. I think you are very close to the solution.
    Just ensure that the import parameter T_BODY_CELLS-NO_VALUE is not marked for that cell. If so the cell would not accept any default values.
    May be this can be checked in debugging.
    Otherwise i think it should be working fine.

  • How to trigger follow up processing actions in appraisal documents?

    Hi gurus,
    We are customizing the performance management process using Objective Settings and Appraisals (ECC 6.0; Enh.Pack 4, ESS/MSS with business pack 1.41) and we have customized the evaluation templates (transaction PHAP_CATALOG_PA) with the enhancement "Follow-Up Proc. (Background) - Adjust Qualific. (Start Date)" in Follow-up Processing section of the Processing tab, at template level (VA object).
    The system functions is ok, and the cualification appears in the employee profile (transaction PPPM) correctly after the performance management especialist trigger it using the admin report (transaction PHAP_ADMIN_PA).
    My question is: Is there anyway to automatically trigger the follow-up processing after the appraisal document is finished? Do we need to develop in ABAP a new implementation of some BADI?

    That's not what happens for our (custom) appraisal: follow-up process(es) are not started when the status becomes "completed", neither from the backend nor the portal. We always have to manually launch the follow-up process from the phap_admin transaction, and select the ones we want to be done.
    In phap_catalog, we have a couple of follow-up processes that are selected in the "Processing" tab.
    when the approval process is activated (infty 5025) and or status 6,7,8,9 are selected then the follow up process only takes place after status change to close approved.
    Even when setting the status to "closed approved", no follow-up process is started.
    Any suggestion? Isn't there a setting somewhere that should be set in order for the follow-up prpcesses to be automatically started when the status is set to "completed"?

    Hey gurus,
    Can I change the Status Tab of Appraisal Screen which uses HAP_START_PAGE_POWL_UI program.  There is one link on this page with name Appraisal Document Name which opens a new window but client wants that it uses the same window and then come back to original screen.
    Does anyone gone through this requirement before..??

                 This issue is resolved. I have done the following steps to make the Z assignment block to be available in the Web Ui....
    1.I have created a Z Component and i have created a view with Z filelds in this Z component.
    2.I have added this in the overview view of the component PR00OV.
    3.I have adde this to the Overview in the view set in Runtime repository of the PRIOOV component
    4.Now the vew is avialble in the configuration and i have added this to the displayed list.
    5.Once this is done it should be displayed in the WEBUi but its not displaying in the WebUi. To resolve this I have made an entry in the table CRMC_PRIL_UIU by giving the
                Object Type       -
    >S
                Object ID            -
    >Obj Name
                BSP Application -
    > Zcomponent (Which i have created)
                View                  -
    >Zview         (Which i have created)
    6.Once i have made an entry in the above mentioned table, My Z assignment block is displayed in the Web UI. With this my problem is solved........

  • Training & Event Management - Business event appraisal

    Dear all,
    Wish you all a very Happy new year.
    I hve two questions.
    1. For e.g. there is one trainer who has conducted many training program in an org and business event appraisal has been performed where there is criteria to capture instructor information. Then how I can get a report for that trainer only. There is one selection criteria in the report of business event appraisal where I can select the instructor(appraisee) id. But it is not working.
    2. When there are more than one instructor in one business event, then how attendee appraisal and business event appraisal are done?
    3. In training & event mgt is it possible to perform periodic appraisal?

    Hi Daniel,
    There is no SAP standard report on Trainer wise attendance history for this purpose you have to define the Adhoc query.
    When there are more than one instructor in one business event it is a tough scenario to have attendee appraisal .
    In TEM it is possible to have periodic Appraisals.

    I have a requirement regarding the Appraisal of Attendee and send to its reporting manager for review and Manger may change the rating and completed or reject for re-appraise from the attendee.
    Note: We are not using LSO, using old Training and event management and we don't have any ESS,MSS system simply doing in ECC system only.
    here i need the notification for the reporting manager once the attendee save his ratings, if i do with old appraisal functionality with APPCREATE & APPCHANGE system is not giving any notifications to the reporting manager.
    if i go to new appraisal system that is with PHAP_CATALOG and PHAP_ADMIN i am not able to get the course's what employee attended for the training.
    please can any one share your view how to do this.

    i can't go through new appraisal model with catalog & template, because client is not having ESS,MSS.  appraisal has to done in the ECC only.
    Done the customization like this :
    created scales
    created appraisal model and assign the scales
    for appraisal, Employee can do from APPCREATE transaction rate his own ratings and save.
    Now Appraiser (Manager) from APPCHANGE complete the appraisal.
    now my requirement is (1) after saving the APPCREATE by the employee, notification has to go to his reporting manager only. (2) Manager can do review/change and complete the process to his Employees only (who are reporting to him)
    how can i do this, standard functionality is there or i have to go for ABAP coding ? if ABAP coding what i have to ask them to do.
    Please help in this requirement.

  • To restrict appraisers for Business Event appraisal

    Hi All,
    When i perform a Business Event appraisal, i need to restrict the appraisers to only those who have attended the training.
    i.e. Appraisee : Business Event
    Appraiser : Participants of the training.
    When i click on F4 for appraisers, i need to restrict the entire list to participants who have attended the training. I have created a BADI implementation for HRHAP00_TMPL_RESTR. But this BADI is Add On Dependent . I have given the filter for the implementation as PA . But internally when function module
    HRHAP_HEAD_APPRAISEE_GET_LIST is called, it has a parameter add_on_application which is always empty. So BADI implementation is not triggered due to filter value add_on_application.
    Please suggest how should i proceed.

  • TEM-Attendee & Business Event Appraisal

    Hi All,
    We are using SAP 5.0 and implementing TEM, when we try to create appraisal using T-code PV34(Attendee Appraisal), PV33(Business Appraisal) we are not routed to Generate “To-Do” List screen, instead it is going to a screen where we need to select the Appraiser and Appraiser mannually, which is quite un usual. It will remain same even if I go through Business Event Menu or Attendance Menu.
    Any help in this regard is hightly appreciated.

    I have now the some problem. When I run tcode PV33/PV34 the list of the appraisal templates contain not only the temlates for business events and attendees but also for employees.
    Did you solve the problem?
    If yes, please give me some hints.

  • Business Event Appraisal - Not showing in PA30

    Hi All,
    We are implementing TEM on SAP 5.0 and replaced the old appraisal system with new appraisal system.
    I have prepared the Appraisal for Business Event, by selecting Attendee as appraiser and Business Event as Apraisee, the problem I am encountering here is after the preparation the document is not shown in any of the following areas in PA30 for infotype 25.
    1) Appraisal where Apraiser
    2) Objective setting & Appraisal(Open)
    But the Appraisal templates which are created under Personnel Appraisal(in PHAP_CATALOG), is shown but not the Appraisal templates which are created under SAP Learning Solution(in PHAP_CATALOG).
    Is there any configuration inorder to get this done?
    Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

    Can you be precise, I mean which Integration settings your asking me to look into?
    One thing I noticed while debugging the code, it is getting Add On Application as 'PA', and passing this parameter to get the Personel Appraisal templates, in case if I modify as 'PD' in the debugging mode, it is fetching the Business Event Appraisal along with Personel Appraisal. Is there any setting for this to have PD passed in to the Add on Application variable.

    I have created Business Event Appraisal Form in New Appraisal System. I have done Appraisals for one Business Event by an attendee.
    Where can see this Appraisal Document of Business Event and do any change if required. Or from we can delete this documents of Business Event Appraisal.
    I have tried tcode appchange but there only Personnel Appraisal templates are visible.

    If you are using a template created by using the Objective Setting and Appraisals componet you can view and maintain forms filled in by employees via Transaction phap_admin_pa.
