Appraisals / Performance Management  -- EMail Notification

What is the process to send e-mail notifications to the appraisers / appraisees. I have a requirement to include the E-mail verbiage (custom message) in the notifications

you may have to modify the bsp application.
or you can try the status flow tab page in the phap_catalog_pa tcode.

  • Visual Studio Online / Release Management Email Notifications

We use Visual Studio Online and not a local TFS instance. Additionally we want to / ARE using the Release Management service.  But, we are having difficulties configuring the Email notifications within Release Management.    We have steps
configured  for email notification on step approval.  BUT we are not getting any of these notifications and the Releases get stuck waiting during these steps.  And only if by sheer dumb luck the user logs into his/her Release Management window
do they see that they have pending approvals...
What do we need to do in order to get these approvals flowing?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us. I am currently researching to gather more information with regards to your request. I shall revert back to you with an update at the earliest. Sincerely appreciate your patience.

  • Issue Management Email Notifications

Has anyone had experience in creating email notifications for Issue Management? Specifically I am trying to send an email to the assigned party once the issue has been assigned to them.

I set up a notification to a fixed mailbox by modifying the SLFI action profile as a test. The message is generated but the email is not sent.
Have you had any experience setting up notifications from Issue Management?
It seems that this is not supported at this time.

  • Configure approval process in Appraisals - Performance Management

    Hi Guys
I am trying to configure the approval process. After the final appraisal by the manager, the appraisal forms hould go to the manager of the manager (next level manager) for approval.
    My queries:
    1. Is the next level manager defined as further participant or part appraiser?
    2. Where do we assign the next level manager? In PHAP_PREPARE? I don't see anyplace where I can do that.
I have done the following configuration:
    1. At category level, selected Role 'Higher Manager'
    2. At category level, in Status flow--> Person Authorized, selected Higher-Level Manager.
    3. In the template, selected Higher Manager in Roles.
    What am I missing here?

  • Performance Management -- Workflow notifications for appraisees

Managers and managers + 1 can see WF notifications through the UWL in MSS.
How do appraisee's receive and see WF notifications? For employee apporval or acknowledgement for example?

    Hi,
I normally activate WF forwarding to their email address for the employees. So the employees get all the WF's as normal emails with a link to their document.

  • How do I stop receiving email notifications?

I placed a comment on the a topic "unknown data uasage early morning" and set it up so I received email notifications when further postings occurred. After hundreds of emails I changed my email preferences to stop receiving them. Doesn't work!! They still keep coming and every day I have to clear out my email of these now nuisance emails. Can anybody help me??

Stopping email from the site is a three step process. Before you dismiss this out of hand give it a try. If you still get emails I'll alert a host.
    Go to your profile page.
Select the Notifications tab clear out anything that shows there.
    Go back to your profile
In the Actions box select Preferences
Select the Email Notifications Preferences tab
Set the values as you like
    Go back to your profile
In the Actions box select Manage Email Notifications
    delete any that show
    that should do it

  • "Receive Email Notifications" not working correctly?

Not a Snow Leopard question, but I don't know where else to post this.
I seem to be receiving email notifications for * every * topic in this forum.  My email notification preferences are set for only limited notifications -- i.e., threads I want to follow.
Since I don't want to turn notifications completely 'off,' how do I get Apple to correct this?
    Thanks.

There is a Discussions topic, but I'm not sure where it's at.
In the forums, click on your name; that will take you to your profile.
Click on Edit Preferences in the "Actions" box on the right side of the page.
Click on the "Email Notification Preferences" tab and set them up how you'd like.
    Save the preferences.
Then, go back to the first page of your profile (click on you name, again)
    Click on Manage Email Notifications.
Select all by clicking the Checkbox in the header.
    Delete them all.

  • Email notification retry

    Hi,
Does anyone know if Identity Manager email notifications get automagically resent if they failed intially (because the SMTP server was down)? In my test environment it doesn't.
    1. set-up email notifications correctly
    2. make sure smtp server is running
    3. trigger email notification (by running some workflow)
    4. notification received
    5. shut down smtp server
    6. trigger email notification (...)
    7. IDM returns error message
    8. start smtp server
    9. never receive notification triggered in step 6
Does somebody have a good workaround for this?
    Thanks,
    Robin

    Hi Tirumal,
    Configure 2 alerts.
One to be triggered when there is the error in tramsmitting the SOAP XML.
Next to be triggered after the retry for 8 hours. If you are using the BPM with wait, then you can associate the Alert with the Exception block of your BPM and trigger the same.
Also, from SP14, Alerts can be triggered for errros in both integratioon engine and adapter engine.
To create alerts , this blog can help you out,
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/09/09/xi-alerts--step-by-step
From SP14 onwards, activation of end to end monitoring is not needed for Alerting. Refer to this note 870232 for this info.
If you are on Sp14, implement the note 913858.
If you are below SP14, then also check this blog,

  • How to Unsubscribe from Discussion Email Notifications

This is really an addendum to the excellent tip posted by Frank Caggiano, titled Stopping emails from ASC. I tried to add this as a Comment to his tip, but apparently comments are closed (or I'm being dense, which is always a possibility ).
One of my reasons for posting, is that I had this very question but I could not find an answer searching through Apple Support Communities. My problem, in retrospect, was that I was searching using the keyword "unsubscribe," which does not appear in Frank's post (not that it should; there are many ways to describe this situation). So, I am hoping that a tip with "unsubscribe" in the title will help users who, like me, will search for information about "how to unsubscribe from discussion emails" or the like.
I encourage you to read Frank's post (clicking on the above link opens a new window) because he explains a method for addressing this problem very well, complete with nice screenshots.
To be clear, the situation addressed in this post is the one in which you keep receiving emails from Apple Support Communities Updates ([email protected]) notifying you of a new post to a discussion you are following. And, for whatever reason, e.g., you're receiving too many emails or the discussion has gone off on a tanget, you want to stop receiving those email notifications.
    I initially went to:
Your Stuff > Preferences > Email Notification Preferences,
and checked off "no" to each option. I thought that would do the trick.
    Wrong.
Unfortunately that did not work because, I finally figured out, I was in the wrong "email notifications" area. Here is the correct procedure (some repetition here from what Frank posted but, the following also includes an alternative method):
Go to: Your Stuff > Profile tab > Manage email notifications (on right, under "Actions") > Click box next to the discussion you are watching, and for which you want to stop email notifications > Click "Remove Selected Notifications"
    OR
Go to the discussion you are following (the one you are receiving emails about) > then, on the right side, under "Actions," click "Stop email notifications"
    Best Regards,
    Mark

  • Stop sending me emails I do not need 100 clogging my email I have change my info to stop email notification 3times

Stop sending me emails Ido not need 100 emails a day clogging up me email. I hav change me message to stop receivinge mails and I am still getting them.  STOP STOP

You are NOT talking to Apple here and remember that every time that you post again and someone responds to try to help you, the emails will continue to pour in from those people that are trying to help.
Read these instructions from another discussion and make sure that you are doing everything exactly as stated below.
Anyway first click on your name to get to your homepage/profile. At the top there are three tabs one of which is Notifications, that's number one,. Next look at the right side of the page at the box Actions in there click Manage Email Notifications. Finally click  Edit Preferences in the action box and click on Email Notification Preferences.
And make sure that you click on Stop Email notifications in the Actions Box in the upper right corner of this page.
Here is the discussion that I copied the instructions from.

  • Still Receiving Email Notifications

I am still getting email notifications from anything posted or updated on the Discussion for Apple TV. I selected "Stop email notifications" and the emails are still showing up.
When I originally posted my own thread, I selected "Receive email notifications" in the upper right box, think I would just get responses via email about my thread only.
    What happened?

    Go to your profile page.
Select the Notifications tab clear out anything that shows there.
    Go back to your profile
In the Actions box select Preferences
Select the Email Notifications Preferences tab
Set the values as you like

  • Email Notification Options

Before the changes I had chosen to receive daily digests to the threads I was following. So once a day I would get a list of any threads that had new replies all in one email. Now I'm getting a separate email for every new response to any thread I'm following. Under manage email notifications I don't see the digest option anywhere. Is there a way to still do this, I don't want to receive a boatload of emails for every active thread that I'm following.

    Pappasbike wrote:
Fortunately they deleted all prior subscriptions and I'm only following a couple after the new forums debuted. I'd hate to see what my inbox would like if all my prior subscriptions were being sent out!
For me, all 8 e-mail notification options in the "Email Notification Preferences" tab of the "Edit Preferences" link was set to "yes" when the new system came up. I guess at the time was the closest they could get to the weekly digest option. Before I realized that, I had already received 50 emails just between 5 & 9 AM on changeover day!
And just setting those 8 options to "no" didn't stop them all -- I was still getting new emails at an ever accelerating rate hours after I had done that.
To get them all stopped, I finally figured out that I had to go back through the separate "Manage email notifications" link to use the "Remove Selected Notifications" option to get rid of all the individual "subscriptions" I had unknowingly created, apparently by posting to a few topics in the early AM, before I turned off the other options.
Maybe it is just me but it doesn't seem all that great an idea to have email preferences organized like that, accessible only through two different links. It would be more convenient, less confusing, & more intuitive to have both of them as tabs in the "Edit Preferences" link, along with the "General Preferences" tab. It wouldn't require any changes to the pages themselves, just the method provided to navigate among them.
I hope the hosts will consider this on what must already be a long list of user suggestions for improvements.
