Approved for another Venture!

So I applied for a Capital One Venture Card and a VentureOne Card last month and was approved for both with a 15k and 10k limit. To my surprise I checked the prequal site and I showed I was prequalified for a Venture, VentureOne and QS VS. I was like what the heck......now that I can merge accounts together, why not see if I can squeak out another 40k bonus since I already met my spend on the first cards. Approved for 15k

  • Approved for Venture card (Visa signature), 10K limit!

My white whale is the CSP and I apply once per year and get declined everytime. I have a freedom with a toy limit, $500. I've had it for almost 2 years and they never increase my limit. I decided that I would app for the Slate and I was approved with another toy limit, $500. I figured that I had pretty much maxed myself out for the number of credit cards I was eligible for (I now have 8).Well, I went to capital one and saw the venture card and thought, why not. Well, to my shock I was approved for 10K. I was floored. In my long life, I haven't had a credit card with a limit higher than $1800. It is my understanding that Chase likes to see, among other things, that you have a credit card with at least 5K. I'm hoping this new Venture limit will allow me to get a CSP in about a year. Also, I believe that I should consolidate my other credit cards onto the Venture.  Question:  Is it better to leave the venture with zero to 10% usage and leave my other cards with balances? Or, transfer all balances to the venture, putting it at 75% usage, while my other cards will be at 0% ? BTW, myfico TU is 695 and I am at 90% usage on all other cards.

New job & multiple cards at 90% is definitely not the time to apply for premium cards then. Get those balances paid way, way down & as many as you can completely paid off. In 6 months, you might be able to get that "Holy Grail" card you keep trying for.shasta wrote:
I haven't exactly been frivolous with my credit card debt. I was laid off for the 3rd time in about 5 years and decided that I needed to change careers. I had to buy tools, consumables, fuel and things like that while I was learning a new trade. I couldn't find reliable work in my new field and so far haven't paid off the credit card debt that I ran up. Things are looking up though, I was just made a job offer today and if it works out, I should be able to pay debt off in about 6 months.

  • Approved for Marriot and 2nd Venture

I applied  for the Marriot card mostly for the 70K bonus points, will probably close my Ritz card and keep Marriot after 1st year if I cant extract good value from it with the high annual fee.  I currently have 5 Chase cards and the Marriot is my 6th. Was approved with a 20K starting limit. Ive opened quite a few more than 5 cards in the last 2 year so I guess Chase new policy does not apply to cobranded cards. I thought I may have reached my internal limit with Chase prior to this app as it was pending for several days but turns out they just wanted to verify that it was in fact me that apped. Didnt really need another Venture but like so many here I coudnt resist the urge to apply for a new card and nice sign up bonus. I was instantly approved for 20K, first Venture is also at 20K. One of the nicest features about the Venture to me is the ability to dispute charges online without having to call and go through a long process with the a CSR. Two other nice features with the Venture is that points post right away and it seems that you can redeem points against the same charge several times. Also read a few posts recently that the Venture card is now Metal, anyone know if thats true?

  • Report - who is the current approver for purchase requisition

    Hi Experts
Is there a report that can give information the status / who is the current approver for purchase requisition?
currently if we open the PR directly, we can only know the release strategy, release code, status of approver, but we cannot have the information who is the person that should approve this PR.
    Thanks in advance
    Prashanth.v

    Hi All.
Unfortunately we want to have this information for our end user, and they will not have the access to SE16.
Another thinks is from CDHDR we will have the information if changes are made in PR. So it will give information user that already approve the PR
What we want to have is a report of outstanding PR (not yet released) that have information who is the user (the user complete name / user id)  that should approve the PR.
    Thanks In Advance

  • Slowly but surely..finally approved for BofA

I'm new to this forum, but I have been following for several years. I really want to thank everybody for sharing their experiences and advice. I hope that my story will help others just the same as you have all helped me...n I'd like to apologize ahead for the super long essay lol ;P During my sophmore year in college, I messed up big time on racking thousands of dollars on credit card debt and losing my job. 4 accts ended up in derog (prob around 10k), so my mid 700's dropped to the low 500's. I still had a few retail cards open and good standing student loans, but I had to kiss all my major cc's goodbye. 3 yrs later, I decided to start my journey on rebuiling my credit. I received a preapproval letter from Cap1 and figured I had nothing to lose. I was approved for the Cap1 Platinum MC with an initial 500CL and 22.90% APR w/ an auto CLI to 2500 after 5 months w/ heavy util. 1 yr later, i was approved for an auto loan through Cap1 w/ 6.96% APR. Couple months after that, I applied for the Cap1 Journey Visa and was approved with 500CL and 22.90% APR w/ auto CLI to 750 after 5 months and another auto CLI to 2750 after an additional 5 months. Cap 1  upgraded my Platinum MC to Quicksilver MC shortly after getting the Journey Visa. I know lots of people have their gripes against Cap1, but wow, they really provided a platform to improve without paying any AF's. High interest, but I made sure to PIF after the 0% promotional periods ended. I'd highly recommend Cap1 as a rebuilder as long as you can manage your finances well since 22% APR would cost a lot in interest. After babysitting my credit score for a year, I was so hesistant to apply for the BofA Cash Visa. I recently saw an "invitation to apply" through my online banking and decided to jump the gun. I was approved on spot with a 500CL and 17.99% APR. I'm a bit disappointed that the CL is so low, but so glad to have a "prime" lender approve me. Hopefully BofA will do an auto CLI after a year. *cross my fingers* So after 3 years of careful planning, my score is now steady at 655 (idk my score didn't change after BofA's HP), for EXP and TU. I'm not planning to apply for anymore CC's, but starting to consider if I should do an auto refi. All of my baddies are scheduled to drop in one year, so my ultimate goal would be to be back in the 700's so that I can eventually buy a house. Of course my baddies dropping will help, but are there any other recommendations to increase my score? Thanks and wish me luck!

  • Approved for Chase Freedom!

I started the credit rebuilding process last year and have taken my scores from the high 500's to the low 700's in that time. I guess my scores are pretty good now but until today I've never been approved for a regular credit card that wasn't secured! I was really hesitant to apply actually, then they approved me right away and I'm so happy! My current scores, per MPM, are around 670, but that's a recent hit due to another new account I opened mid-July (Amazon Store Card). I was worried that would lead to my denial by Chase but chose to apply anyway. I'm an AU on my dad's Chase Slate, and based on posts on this forum it seems like their reconsideration process is pretty generous with approvals. I figured there was little harm since I could point out my responsible handling of my AU account if I had to call. I now have: CapOne Secured, $500 limitChase Slate (Authorized User), $3200 limitBofA Cashback, $2000 limitAmazon Store Card, $1200 limitChase Freedom, $2200 limitThese last few weeks have been amazing credit-wise, actually... First BofA returned my deposit for their secured card, increased my limit and upgraded me to Cash Rewards, then I managed to get the Amazon Store Card (after being rejected just over a year ago), and now this! So pleased, and very excited to cancel my stupid CapOne Secured. Thanks for listening

    Congrats

  • Approved for Citi ThankYou Premier (with caveat)

Decided to jump the gun and app for the TY Premier.  Been looking for another juicy bonus and I thought this card, coupled with my Forward, would make for a great combo for travel rewards.  I app'd online and originally got the following message: Your application is pending further review and we need additional information from you. Please call 1-866-606-2787 now to receive an immediate decision. Called the number with an application ID they gave me.  Basically informed me that I was approved, but that I had hit the CL ceiling with them, so they could only approve me for $3,900, but they gave the choice to transfer limits from my two other cards (Forward & DoubleCash) up to $2,000, which I did and made the CL $5900.  From this experience, I've concluded what I've seen others state as well. With my reported income at $48,500, I am guessing Citi's internal credit limit is at around ~30% of your annual income.  So to those with multiple Citi cards, you might want to keep that in consideration.  Then again, as with everything, YMMV. Just happy I got approved.  They tend to only pull EQ for me, but guess I'll find out in a couple days or so, which astonishingly is actually my lowest score at the moment.

My wife and I received prescreened apps from Citibank 2 weeks ago for the DP card.  I was approved for a $1800. Wife was sent a request for more info letter with a 4506-T form enclosed. Our scores are similar. My non au credit is 3 months longer than hers. This bank is horrible. Then they want to pull another credit report on her. They can go straight to you know where. We are not submitting that.  I will not share the entire details on a public forum, but they in conjunction with an unscrupulous lawyer my elderly mom had, tried to railroad me on an au card I had with them for 11 years. My lawyer had to get involved and caught them in a major lie. If I tell you what happened in detail you would cringe. And while I had the card, they for about 5 years would constantly hound my mom about my charges. Perfect payment history and very high limit with many auto clis. I will of course await my Costco card with them but nothing more. They are a difficult and highly dishonest bank.Yikes, I'm sorry to hear that experience you had with them.  They've been nothing but good to me, but that said, I always consider it a business relationship that can turn on a dime.  They'll only keep me in good graces as long as I remain a good customer.

  • I am trying to change or add the email address which is attached to my itunes account. I keep getting a notice saying email address is already verified for another Apple ID. Im sure its one of my devices. How can I get my current email address added?

My itunes account is attached to an email account that I no longer have and cannot retrieve. I have been having trouble with purchases made to my itunes account and want to view my purchases. The support center said that they would email me the purchase history. However, I don't have that email address. When I go to change my email address to my current one, I get a message in red saying that "the email address is already verified for another Apple I.D." I'm sure it is one of my devices as we have 4 ipods and 2 iphones. How can I get my account to use my current email address? If one of my devices was registered using my current email address as it apparently was, do I need to figure out which device that is and remove the email address from that account? I'm so confused. I just want ALL my devices to use my current email address. I need to replace the old email address with my current one. How do I do that?
    thanks for any assistance.

Your best bet would be to try resetting the password to the account that you would like to use via iForgot
Once you log in to that account change the email address to anything, it can even be fake its just a placeholder
After you do that you will be free to change your old email address on your appleID to the new one that is now free to be used as it is no longer attached to the other account.

  • I recently sold my Mac Air to a friend, he wants to use iTunes Match, but it says he can't for another 40  days because it was attached to my account.  How can I get that turned off so that he can use his account and turn on iTunes match.

I reecntly spold my mac book air,to a friend, when he tries to use itunes match it says the computer is registersed to another user and cannot be done for another 40+ days.  How do i get that to turn off.  I have unregistered it under my account.
    thanks s

You either have an incredibly complex computer setup or I think you are confusing terminology here.  If you have iTunes set to share your library with others in your iTunes preferences then other computers in the area will see it as an item when they are running their iTunes and have it set to check for shared libraries.  Your husband is probably seeing this when running iTunes on his computer.  You can disable this sharing on your computer and/or he can set his not to pick up shared libraries.
By the way, an iTunes account is something you log into when you want to buy something from Apple.  On your computer it is simply your iTunes collection or your iTunes application.  So you need to turn off sharing in your iTunes application preferences.
Your husband is seeing "his" iTunes collection when running iTunes, but it is possible he doesn't have anything in it if it is a brand new computer.

  • How to change default approval for ResourceAuthorizerApproval ?

    Hi,
I'am new in OIM and I follow documentation where I found some predefined workflows. I'd like to use them.
Could you tell me, step by step, how to change default approval for ResourceAuthorizerApproval (only for my new defined resource).
I'm using OIM 11g and Design Console 11.1.1.3.0.2.0

Ok, I made new tamplate (copy of existing one), there I changed Template Level Approval Process and set allowed resources. It seems to be ok :)
If there are other solutions please share with me
    Thanks

  • I´m getting the following message: Email address is already verified for another Apple ID.

When trying to add a new account I´m getting this error message: Email address is already verified for another Apple ID.
I didn´t know I have another Apple ID. How can I find out which Apple ID is that one and how can I add this email address to the Apple ID I currently use? Thanks

Are you sure you don't have another ID? If you purchased Apple hardware you may very well have been given an ID as part of the registration process. You can check this by going to http://appleid.apple.com and clicking 'Find My Apple ID'. Follow the instructions and it should list any IDs you have.
However once an address has been associated with an Apple ID you can't use it with another (even if it's removed from the first) so you are probably going to have to use another address, such as a free one from Yahoo or GMail.

A warranty or out of warranty replacement through Apple will be for the same model, same capacity, same colour.

How can I get someone to answer the phone? I'm ready to give VERIZON my business. I sat on the phone for over 20 minutes only to be transferred to "Sales." I then sat on the phone for another 15 minutes!!!! I finally hung up.

It takes an enormous amount of patience and time to get through to a qualified person.
My Samsung S5 was locked out and needed a factory reset. Including attempts to achieve this locally, it took over an hour before my problem was even addressed.
You may be interested in my journey to a very good technical support person.
First I called the local sales person who had given me his personal business card with the friendly advice to call me with any questions. No answer at about 8:30 am when the business was open. His voice mailbox was full.
Then I called the local store where I had purchased the phone. The person who answered the phone had learned all the proper stock phrases, but was not familiar with the issue, stated that there were no customers in the store, and I should go there in about an hour when there would be more staff. He suggested dialing *411 from my phone (which was locked). Then he gave me a number to call Verizon, which he had to look up, and it took a minute or so. The number was (removed). That is an internal number for employees and contractors and requires a code to access, obviously not designed for customers' use. He finally cut me off by stating that there were a number of customers in line waiting for his attention!
After researching all my papers I found 800-922-0204 on my bill. The automated message suggested a hold time of 5 minutes, it took 20 minutes for a Customer Service Representative to pick up, and then I was referred to technical assistance. The hold time was announced to take 5 minutes, after 12 minutes I finally was connected.
Fortunately I had my computer set up for Skype on a loudspeaker, and was able to do some other paperwork while waiting.
Persistence was rewarded by having the good fortune to be connected to a very experienced, qualified and patient technical support staff with the name of Thomas (removed). He solved my problem, answered my questions during the process of resetting the phone, and gave an example of courteous and kind customer service that I had never experienced before when dealing with any major internet company.
