Apps is shaking ( loos )

i have down loaded a game from Mosh ( midnight pool 2 ) its work very good with N78 but each time i exit the game ,I see the some of the other apps i have down loaded are shaking ,Now the Million dollar question , is this game (apps) is corrupted or not good ,is it gonna damage my phone or other apps ??? any help and advise will be appreciated . thanks

If after exiting icons simply disappear then reappear (blink), then it's pretty normal. No reason to worry... If they move around. Then... hm... what the...? Seriously - never heard of icons dancing around, but who knows - the next top 10 game might be 'Hit the moving icon'

An "other" that large usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files. Usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

When trying to erase an app and the apps are shaking there is not "X" showing to delete the app. What should I do?

Can someone please tell me what to do. My daughter has been buying so many apps but she can't delete them. We have iphones and we know how to delete them, but in this case the apps start shaking but no "X" is around to delete.

Ipad app icons shaking but won't delete, home button does not work, power off switch does not work

I just got a new ipad air and have started to add apps to it. I have added a couple of free apps which I have also deleted (moved to icloud). I have also a couple of apps (free & purchased) which I have on it now.
Now my problem:
I tried to remove another free app. I press and hold the icon. All app icons shake and display the 'x' for removing, but the 'x' for does not work on any of the icons. Also, after this, the home button does not work as the icons keep shaking even while I am pressing the button. And the power off switch on the side of the device does not work either. If I close the smart cover and reopen it shows the home display and all the icons still shaking (instead of showing the passcode sign-in display). Fortunately (well, fortune in the misfortune) if I press the home button and off switch a couple times each and close the smart cover and wait, the device awakes normally. Well, normally until I try to remove any app.
So what do I need to do to fix this?

Glad it worked. Anytime your iPad acts up, the reboot/reset is a common first thing to try. And it clears up many issues and glitches.

IPhone 5 apps not shaking no reset option

I am having an iphone 5.I bought it recently but I have I very BIG ISSUE.I cannot arrange or uninstall apps from my home screen.When i long press an app it does not starts shaking.Moreover,there is no reset option in Settings>General menu.Please helpme.Thanx in advance!!!!

hey,idk if it works so,but maybe u can try: settings->general->third option ("use" i think,im not sure cause mine in in another language than english) then go to the app u want and tap delete. hope it helps. good luck!

They should stop when you tap home button once. If that doesn t do it then try this
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).

Help w/ fixing my broken ipod touch. I have to double click on an app in order to open it, can't leave the home screen, apps don't work!

I'm not sure what happened, but I can't leave my home screen unless I press n hold an app and move it to another page, then when i press the home button so the apps stop shaking I can stay on another page. Other than doing it that way I can't scroll from one page to another. When I click on an app a thin box appears around it, not only with apps but when I click on the time or battery or ANYTHING! In order for me to open any of the apps I have to double click on it and then when it opens I can't do anything in the app. Even when I went to settings to see if there was something in there to fix this problem I can't go anywhere or do anything. Im having this same problem an my phone is about 3 weeks old. I am not sure about the voice over part though...I have not yet figured out how to work the voice recognition part of the phone...I am such a newbie with this phone. I did the power off/on suggestion, several times. I tried leaving it off for 10 minutes. Tried to reset with the power on/off and home button pressed at the same time. Charged battery. Still makes no difference. You cannot scroll any direction. Have to double click to open apps. Have to double click letters when texting or emailing in order to get the letter in the text box. Can scroll through app choices, have to click on the line with the dots in it and move from page to page. Can't access the settings - > general - > accessibility - because it won't allow me to scroll down to "general".
Anyone help you with your fix yet?

HT1414 Serious Bug in App Store software update process - locks iPhone.

A situation to cause my iPhone to become unusable has occurred:
IPhone 4 GSM model 1332
IOS Version 6.1.3
App Store prompted me that 2 apps needed updating ...
The App Updates started, but during the update there was a network failure on my WiFi caused by a power outage
Subsequently the network problem is resolved (power restored to the router etc)
The iPhone App Update will not resume ...
There is no facility to abort or restart the "update in progress", both apps just show "INSTALLING" but nothing happens.
The biggest problem is that my iPhone will no longer receive or make phone calls.
Your help to resolve this is much appreciated ...

Try holding the home button and power button in till the Apple symbol appears wait then when phone reboots press home button and when red x appears and apps start shaking delete the two non installed apps.

I have an iPhone 4S, with the latest OS, 5.01 I believe it is. Most everything is great except everytime I have updates to download and install through the app store, I get a message saying "cannot install livingsocial and 6 other apps." The issue is that I only had livingsocial for a couple weeks then deleted it. That was a few weeks ago. Also I have no idea what the other 6 are. All my updates install fine, I just keep getting this message. And livingsocial and whatever the other 6 apps are never show up in the updates section, I just keep getting the stupid message. I click ok and it goes away. How do I get it to stop trying to install these apps? I've seen a ton of information about something similar happening on sync, but my issue is occurring during AppStore updates for which I can find no information!

That seems like a really odd coincidence that both ours say "and 6 other apps." As far as the app waiting thing, I've never tried tapping it twice, but I would hold down til all the apps started shaking to move or delete, but this one is the only one with no x for delete, so when I tap it nothing happens. I have tapped it repeatedly but never exactly twice. But after a short while, no matter what I do, it will just disappear on its own. In fact, I saw your "tap twice" message very soon after you posted it and was going to try it, but it had already disappeared by then.

How to close apps so they don't use up power

My granddaughters iPad loses power to fast. I want to know how to shut down apps so they don't suck out all the battery when she is done with them. I know very little about these things

She is autistic and music is her life Her teacher was the one that said if you hold down on something at the bottom and all the apps start shaking and they have an x on them, you can click on them and shut them down to save energy. But when you do that it says they will be deleted! Don't want to do that:(

What cause apps download to freeze

I have about 7apps still hung up in the process of downloading. Now every app I try to down load is hung up. I tried to delete the apps by shaking them, but there is no (x) above the app to click on to delete. Help please!

There may be another stalled download in iTunes, podcasts or in iBooks. There could have been an issue with the Internet connection as well that caused one download to stall and then every other app that you tapped on in order to update, just made the problem worse.
See if any of these suggestions help. Ignore anything that you have already tried.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

Hey i wasjust wondering how i move my apps so they are sitting on the same page or in a folder together?

You do not actually download the webapp.
Go to the website that you want for your homescreen. There should be a plus sign at the bottom of the screen, in the middle. Touch it. Three options will appear. Touch 'Add to home screen." You can name the app whatever you want at this moment. Your iPod will then send you to the home screen where you can view your new app.
You can also move any application around. Just touch any app and hold it. When the apps start shaking, you can drag, as long as you are holding the app, apps anywhere you want on the home screens. You can not enter any apps though while the apps are shaking. To stop the shaking, press the home button.

How to uninstall pages 5 on iPad 2?

I still use pages 4 on my Mac, and have updated my iPad2 to iOS7 and spontenuously to pages 5 as well. Then, I can't read on my Mac a document in iCloud that was altered on my iPad with pages 5. Of course, to update my Mac to pages 5 would solve this, but I'd still like to use the features on pages4. Does anybody know how to uninstall pages 5 on iPad and revert back to pages4?

is your app stuck in "loading status"? Or are you trying to cancel an ongoing loading process?
if stuck:
Perform a reset of your ipad.
Hold down home-button and on/off-button together for about 10 seconds (Ipad will first show you it´s shut-off-screen, then will turn, then will show apple logo again <- that´s where you release).
After doing so my "faulty" app restored properly, I hav no more issues.
If in loading stage and you would like to cancel:
You will need to wait for loading and installation to complete.
Then press and hold down finger on any app. Apps start shaking and (if not proper to ipads iOS) will show a small circled "x" above left, press that "x", you will be asked if you really wish to delete, press ok. Done.
