AQ StartupClass Isuue

Diptanshu & All,
          As our admins did not like to put starup class in weblogic (Need server reboot, if you make a change), So I tried converting this thing to web application, so that you can bind the Factory & Queue to the JNDI.
          I have not changed any of the Diptanshu's classes (thin version). two things i did:
          1. Whatever is happening in startup class same thing i moved to web application.
          2. I made one jar file with oracle aq api classes, ojdbc14 classes,nls_character classes and Dips AQ classes.
          This jar file is the first entry in the server's class path.
          When i deploy web applcation, everything seems to be working fine, I can see the bindings on the JNDI tree.
          When i deploy Message Driven Bean, it can go and grab the messages that are waiting in the AQ.
          After that MDB is not receving anymore message. All the messages are waiting in the Oracle's Queue.
          If I redeploy the MDB from weblogic's consloe MDB will pick up the messages. Again same thing continues (It will not receive any messages until I redeploy the MDB).
          Any Clue what's happening, anything need to be changed they Bindings are happening...?
          Is there any other way of doing this apart from startup class..?
          Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do you mean that the MDB manages to dequeue a few messages and then stops? Or gets all the AQ messages available, then stops?

In Excel
Copy
Then Edit ==> Paste Speical ==> Select transpose
Your verticals will become horizontal and
horizonals will become verticals.

JMSBridgesXA/xa-compliant-oracleaq - how do TX work? StartupClass questions

Hallo all,
          yesterday we called in our (very simple) MDB sessionContext.setRollbackOnly().
          Expected behavior: Oracle AQ should resend the JMS message after a while (queue_table still needs to have the message).
          Seen behavior: The JMS message was removed from Oracle AQ queue table and has not been resent. It got lost completely.
          Question: What do we have to do, that the MDB supports JMS transactions? We already defined Required in the deployment descriptor and referenced "AQXAJMSConnectionFactory" as factory in weblogic-ejb.jar.xml.
          Is there the requirement to use resource-ref's (probably this is not the case for incoming MDB's. Only interesting if doing a JMS send inside a MDB or Stateless Session EJB?).
          How does the JMSBrdigesXA project work together with BEA JTA TransactionManager?
          DipsStartupClass: What does it do exactly?
          It seems to instantiate the required AQ Factory and Queue classes and binds them to BEA JNDI.
          But also it creates a AQjmsConnection, AQjmsSession and Destination and starts the Connection and Session! (e.g createXAQueueConnection).
          Why does it have to do this?
          MDB's deployed to BEA JMS and referencing a JMSConnectionFactory don't need a StartupClass, so the normal factories seem to establish the connection internally (is BEA pooling JMS resources here internally in addition???)
          Does it make any difference using in Constants "thin" or "oci8"?
          The class DipsAQXAQueueConnection and method createXAQueueSession() creates an OracleXAConnection by passing getOCIConnectionPool().getConnection().
          What does this mean? Why OCI? Is the "thin" property working nevertheless?
          Does the DipsStartupClass create ONE Oracle connection to Oracle AQ or do we have to specify somewhere any Oracle pool size?
          What would we have to do if multiple MDB's have to listen to different queues?
          Looks like that we need multiple StartupClasses because of queue_table_name and queue bindings (JNDI AQJMSQueue).
          But what does this mean to the AQXAJMSConnectionFactory?
          Would we have to bind it multiple times under different names (e.g 3 MDB's, 3 factories)?
          How many Oracle AQ DB connections have to be open?
          Is there a new DipsAQXAConnectionFactory / DipsAQConnectionFactory which does all the things internally on the fly so we can deploy MDB's as we would work with BEA JMS (besides StartupClass for the "Referencable" solution)?
          What did you change for your tests the oracle.jms.DipsAQXAQueueSession constructor to? The current sources of JMSBridgesXA Oracle AQ look incompatible with aqapi13.jar (I tried also aqapi.jar and aqapi11.jar)!
          AQjmsSession needs a fith argument java.sql.Connection.
          Shall we call:
          super(aqjc, sessAck, flag, j, oraXAConn.getConnection())
          or
          super(aqjc, sessAck, flag, j, null)
          May be the first (we did that) be the reason of the NON TX behavior if java.sql.Connection is set to AutoCommit by default to true?
          Somewhere in this weblogic.developer.interest.jms forum I read that only Oracle 10g aqapi.jar is XA cabable?
          We have to use Oracle 9.2.0.6 and I defenitly have to use TX's.
          I even would have to get this working:
          1. MDB recieves AQ JMS message
          2. does some business logic
          3. send a JMS message to another queue
          4. commits if 2 and 3 was successful by removing the JMS message from the Oracle AQ.
          However, a MDB rollback MUST ensure, that the received Oracle AQ/JMS message won't be lost.

          Thank you very much for your input.
          Unfortunately also a RuntimeException does not rollback/keep the message in AQ queue in our test MDB environment.
          So TX is still some open issue for us.
          Today we made the decision to go with a MapMessage (instead of Oracle custom data type) and do all AQ receive/send stuff manually (because of time running away).
          Meanwhile I also tried Oracle 10g R2 database aqapi13.jar; has a completely different constructor in AQjmsSession which does not seem to be compatible anymore with DipsStartupClass package.
          I wonder how aqapi13.jar from Oracle 10g should work without DipsStartupClass.
          Oracle 10g application server may provide an adapter solution; but I would need to find, check and test it with BEA MDB's first.
          Today we found out, that AQ propagation needs queues defined to be multi_consumer queues.
          Unfortunately settings multi_consumer TRUE and a DEQUEUE (in aqapi13.jar with DipsStartupClass) does not play well together. It's missing a consumer name.
          Then it will only work with recipient list.
          I hope next weeks I will find some Oracle AQ guru which may show me a way out of all this disaster :)

Experts , i have a isuue and i need your help and let me explain , we have info structure maintained in SOP and i do see the key figures and characterstics maintained in MC23 ( S9XX),i need to see info structure plant specific PLant 100 and Plant200 since i need to see the differnce in settings maintained in 2 diiffernt plants . How can i view by plant specific since i see no where that it asks for plant as an input key, sincewe have some issues in 1 plant.

Hot execution of a startupclass???????

Hi all ..
I have a java class registered using "weblogic.system.startupClass"
property in WL 5.1 which basically loads few tables from teh database
using two of the connection pools defined in teh same property file.
Now my problem is something like this ---
restarting the server is a major pain for me as i have arnd 100+ EJBS
and lotta other activities during startup.
when ever i have something inserted in that database i have to restart
the entire server which easily turns out to be more than 15 mins job.
To avoid this i would like to have some event which would tell me
weblogic server to reexecute that particular startupclass.
and i dont have slightest of idea how to do it . any help in this
regard would save me loads of mytime.
something like hot deployment .......... ???

Remember, a weblogic startup class is just a Java class that gets
instantiated by WLS on startup and has a couple of methods invoked on the
instance. Why not simply do something like this (this is intended as an
example only)?

Isuue in PTARQ / ESS leave isuue

Dear Experts,
we are facing random isuues in Leave Manegement..
1. Leave request are not reaching the controlling officer Universal Work List. this problem occurs very randomly.
2. Leave request in PTARQ dont have work item / task id indicates blank.
3. Few leaves are got posted in R/3 even when they are in started status.
4. Approver is not able to see request in his uwl but when he cliks the other request, he can able to see the other request(which is not there in UWL), when he is trying take an action on that system is giving error " work item 00000000000 cannot be read".
Please provide inputs..

Hi,
Please check the 'determine approver" in PTARQ transaction for those affected personnel numbers. If the approver details are not displaying in this transaction, then please check the organization structure is correctly maintained for these employees.
If the org structure and "Reports to" A-0002 relation ships are correctly maintained then you have to check the workflow.

I have several classes in weblogic 4.5.1. that startup via
weblogic.system.startupClass
Unfortunately, I have found that I cannot control the ordering in which
these
classes are started. In fact, the startup ordering seems completely
independent of the the ordering of these commands in
weblogic.properties.
Is it possible to control the startup ordering? Thanks in advance for

The startup class uses cosnaming for JNDI so it behaves the same as the
rich client, ie no java:comp/etc.. you will need to use the absolute
name.

Type UI in CS6 in Surface Pro 3 is too small. Adobe needs to isuue a fix for CS6.

I don't need to upgrade CS6 for any photography reason. Adobe should make CS6 UI readable fro surface pro 3 users. They have a fix for later versions. Why not make it available in other earlier versions of photoshop. This is not a question of adding new features, it is a question of making the UI readable.

                  I have a requirement to validate ME21N PO creation with Account assignment 'K'. In our Business Process, we have 2 plants lets say 3000 and 5000. Plant 3000 is linked to Business Area say 4000 and Plant 5000 is linked to Business Area 9000. Now we have unique cost center assignment in both Business areas.
My requirement is when i enter wrong cost center then system has to validate it with plant and has to pop up error message in PO creation. With BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST, i am able to populate the error message when i enter wrong cost center but i can save the PO which is wrong.
Please help me on this issue.
I have written in my logic in BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST -> PROCESS_ACCOUNT.

Isuues with wireless printing

Hi, I just got this Hp Laserjet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw printer, and I have issues when I print from MS-Word/Excel. In some cases, the printer won't print at all (Word), or it only prints the lower half of the page (Excel). But if I hook it up using USB cable, everything is fine. What should I do?

I see that you are having issues printing from the wireless network using MS-Word/Excel, but you can print when using a USB connection. I will certainly do my best to help you.
Try these steps to see if it will resolve the issue. Start at Step 3. Then under Workaround, go to Step 4, number 11 to make sure the correct driver name is showing. Wireless HP Printer Prints a Partial Page or Fails to Print All Pages in Windows 8. Disregard the title.
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)

Isuue regarding Fork step in bpm

I am doing a scenario, collecting different idoc types into a flat file using BPM.
In the fork step while doing BPM , I am getting an error while adding more than two branches.
The error is "Maximum limited value is 2".

Hi Sailatha,
A fork step is used for parallel processing of a(single) message in N number of branches. For example, if you design a fork with 4 branches, each branch receives a msg and then the steps in each branch is carried out.
Follow the below procedure:
The fork by default comes with two branches when you first place it into your process. You need to insert another branch before it allows you to increase the max and so on.
In ur case plz try to change the Default Value 2 which is in properties window to the no. of branches u desire.

Can this be accomplished using some javascript, since my code only works when updating? I thought that the MRUs fire first that this would work. What is the best process for this?

Desktop Manager Sync Isuue

I am a noob here and with RIM. I was not receiving emails, so I saved the info in DM and went to tmo store. We did a HH wipe. (I have a tmo 8120, new) I then started receiving me emails. So I went home and went to download my saved info on my DM..BOOM! The emails stopped again. I then did a HH wipe myself and then added each saved item back onto my HH. After each save, retesting my BB email to make sure that it wasn't lost again.
What I know:
I had to install the DM 2x from the disc to get it to install properly.
I have a 2gb data card-no issue with the card saving or playing.
I have MS Outlook 2003
If I had to make a guess of all the things I have read on several BBBB's (BlackBerry Bullit Boards) That the three things I have posted above dont always get along.
If it looks and smells funny, and it doesn't respond to a text message, then its probably dangerous.

I am all about moving forward instead of backwards. They can make a stable DM since I paid for it. I will wait for the fix/upgrade. I am not a big calendar person so I use the DM to move music/wav. ringtones and software upgrades. (future) If I have to make an appointment, I just add it to the Pearl calendar. I am not worried if it gets moved over to Outlook or not. The reason I got the Pearl/BB is to answer mail on the road. (99%) I dont need my work Outlook calendar. In fact, the less I use anything MS the happier I am.
If it looks and smells funny, and it doesn't respond to a text message, then its probably dangerous.
