Arabic in form printout

Dear all,
I need to type Arabic words in Smartforms and it should be printed in the output as well.
Is it possible? If yes, what is the procedure to do this.

Hi,
You need to Copy your smartform in to Arabic Language. There you can type Arabic characters.
During Print it depends on LOG ON Language.
In the driver program you can write a logic to call.
ie : If log on Language is English the Smartform for English will be called.
If Log on Language is Arabic the Smartform for Arabic Will be Called.
or else Form can be called Depends on the Customer Language also in case of Invoice..
Dont Change any calculation Logic Just copy the Form in Arabic Language and write the Arabic Text to be printed in the form.
Thanks
Partha

  • Force oracle form server to use 'Arabic Presentation Forms-B' unicode block

    Hi everybody
i am using form server 10g and AR8MSWIN1256 as characterset.
it seems that with this charset oracle form server use only 'Arabic presentation Forms-B' part of unicode to display characters.
is there any way to change this and force form server to use 'Arabic presentation Forms-A' and 'Arabic presentation Forms-B'.
i checked in localebuilder and if you set any code out of 'Arabic presentation Forms-B' range in replacement chars glyph is not displayed and in the form it shows wrong display.

  • Adobe form Printout corrupted...

    hello Gurus,
We have many Adobe Print forms designed in the system. We use Correspondence program to create spools for each form and we can print them in SP01.
When we print these spools in DEV, the printout is perfectly fine.
But when we do the same thing in QA, the output is not readable. The output contains thick black lines in place of text lines.
I am really not sure where to troubleshoot this issue. Any help will be appreciated.
    The printer is same.

Thank you for the reply Murthy.
We print the documment from SP01, select the spool, click 'Print with changed Parameters', input the Printer we have set up.

  • Arabic in forms

    Hai all,
Is there anyway I can enter arabic letters in oracle Applications forms..EBS 11.5.10.2
    Thanks
    Yusuf

    Yusuf,
Swtich the keyboard to Arabic, and you should be able to enter Arabic letters then.
What is the characterset of your Application/Database? Make sure you use a one which supports Arabic so that it will be stored/retrieved data correctly in/from the database.

  • Amount in Words using SPELL_Amount in Arabic Smart-forms

I am facing the difficulty during the step in smartform printing. Client is to have a printout in Bi-lingual (english+arabic), Arabic is printing fine. The maintenance language of smartform is arabic.
    Problem arises:
I am using the function SPELL_AMOUNT to get the "Amount in Words" of Gross Value. In the print preview and printout, "Amount is words" are appearing as jumbled. for example,
    Gross Value  238,476.00 SAR
Expected Amount in Words Two Hundred Thirty-Eight Thousand Four hundred Seventy-Six.
Appearing Amount in Words Seventy-Six Two Hundred Thirty-Eight Thousand Four Hundred.
    Waiting for your valuable inputs.

    Hi,
    Try the below code:
Pass the amount after Decimal to the Spell amount seperately and then concatenate the two parts of the amount.
    For example : 30.60 USD
Store the amount in a character string. Split the string at decimal point using a SPLIT statement.
    DATA: amount_total(10),
    round(7),
    dec_part(3).
    DATA: dec(1) TYPE c VALUE '.',
    amount_total = '30.69'.
SPLIT amount_total AT dec INTO round dec_part.
First pass variable 'round' to Spell_amount and then in the second call pass variable 'Dec_PART' and concatenate the two results.

    sirisha.

  • Purchase Order form printout error.

    Hi all experts,
I am not sure which category I should put this question to. Please guide me if I have raised the question in the wrong category, so that I can raise it at the right category. Sorry!
I am having some problems in printing Purchase Order form using Simple Mail, let's say I am using output type MAHN. Whenever the PO is generated in Simple Mail, a print preview screen with Output Device is pop up, and require me to key in the details like printer name in order to proceed to next step (which is not necessary for my case).
Whereas, in normal print preview, there is no such pop up display.
I am suspecting of it is caused of the setting. But I do not know how to solve it.
Anyone experienced this before? Please help.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Sachin D C,
I am sorry for the confusing query. Actually what I wanted to say is: -
    1) printing the PO - maintain condition records for output type NEU (working fine)
    2) printing Dunning Deliv Remind - output type MAHN (working fine in manual print out)
    3) printing Dunning Deliv Remind - output type MAHN (not working in simple mail)
Whenever the Dunning Deliv Remind is generated in Simple Mail, a print preview screen with Output Device is pop up and following by another pop up screen Output Processing analysis.
Do you have better understanding now?
    Please help.

  • PO -Form Printout

    Hi Guys,
Could someone guide me thru' the process on 'How to change Form layout for the PO'. We have to replace our old company Logo with a new one and also the Address title and other details. I'm not sure where to look for those as I am poor in SAP scripts. Also it would be very helpful if you tell me how to look for which Form we are using for our PO's/scheduling agreements? A detailed Step -to-step process would be really helpful.
Thanks very much for your help- in advance.
    Regards,
    Kelly

    Hi
The logo is inserted as an standard text and that text is included in the form.
If the address of the copmany is not not hard coded then it is coming formthe ADRC table and you have only to change the address of the company in customizing .
If you are taking of the footer data then go to T.code SE71 give your form name and press execute and you have to slect the Page window there you will find different page windows for the address /logo  etc....................
See as per standard SAP we are using  MEDRUCKfor all Purchasing documents and there are different print program which will be used when it is PO /RFQ/Scheduling agrreement

  • Form printout for advance tax return (rfumsv00)

Many countries like for example India have standard government prescribed formats for VAT returns or for service tax returns (like ST3 format) . But from my analysis, i dont find an option in ECC 6- Advnace tax return - rfumsv00 to output the data onto a form. (Only for Germany and Belgium this is possible by selecting the option "prepare printing of forms" under the "posting " tab.). Please tell me if there is any option. I cannot believe that SAP doesnot provide such option for other countries?

I hope nothing is mentioned like , this is specific to Germany and Belgium.
If you want you can have the form in your own layout. In "Output lists" area you can create your own variant for each output/input tax line items and balances.
Based on the layout selected you will get the output print form.

  • Form printout

    Hi all,
I am having of problem with the sap script printout. I am not able to print the script output though the preview is coming fine.
The spool request status shows "waiting for output formatter' and then nothing gets printed..
    kindly help
    thanks

    Hi,
you can also check in program by setting the IMMEDIATE flag of ITCPO structure i.e "itcpo-tdimmed = 'X' ". This is parameter to print immediately. This structure is passed in OPEN_FORM. Hope this might be helpful.
    Thanks,

  • Arabic Text in Forms not proper

    Hi Gurus,
I have an requirement to print standard forms for Sale order confirmation and Delivery note in Arabic. The Print preview i am getting shows the arabic text as alphabet by alphabet translation in forms for the arabic texts and whereas when i check the abap list display it shows proper arabic description.
I mean the customer name for eg. is not in proper arabic (Which is maintianed in table as Arabic text form only) whereas in the abap list display it is coming absolutely correctly.
    Please advise.
    Regards,
    Venket

    Hi
Use the concept of text module, and assign text module to text fields. and give the condition that if language is arabic than text module will be executed.
i  did in adobe forms , you can find that one in **************** , click on tutorials , click on adobe forms and select with use of text modules.

  • Arabic is not displayed properly in Oracle Forms...

    Hi,
I'm using oracle 9i database and forms 6i. mt database contains arabic data and the character set of database is "UTF8". when i display the data in arabic in forms, it is giving junk characters. i set the NLS_LANG for forms to UTF8 in the registry. still the arabic is not showing properly.
pl. tell me how i can resolve this problem.
    regards
    george

    Hi Gregor
I think you're out of luck. There is no Arabic language pack for Xcelsius.
When you're in design mode, you're using the Windows OS features, but when you try to preview or export then Xcelsius begins the process of converting the xlf to a swf. And since there is no lang pack it doesn't know what to do with the Arabic characters.
