ARE3 doc. no. is same as Internal No. doc.

Dear All,
Issue is regarding the No. ranges for ARE3.
As When I create ARE3 Document, the no. range saved is same as Internal No. document. However I have assigned different no. ranges for both Internal Doc. no & ARE3 in SNRO. But still the same no. for internal doc. is saved when I create ARE3 in J1IA301.
Any further information required pls revert back.
Inputs will be of great Help and rewarded too.

Currently running GW 8.0.2hp2 on NetWare 6.5sp8.
We have a single domain and single post office, and a single WebAccess
and single GWIA gateway. We about 25 external domains setup to allow
using external users' e-mail addresses our in internal corporate address
books and distribution lists following the procedure outlined here:

The problem is that one of my internal users in our corporate domain/PO
has the same userid as a user in one of the external domain/PO's. So,
for example, their e-mail addresses are:
[email protected]
[email protected]
Everything works except that my internal user cannot use GW WebAccess.
Trying to login to WebAccess results in the following error:
"Please login again. You may have typed your name or password
incorrectly. Remember that your user name must be unique."
If I either change my internal user's GroupWise userid, or if I delete
or rename the external user's userid, then my internal user can login
into WebAccess without a problem. So this does appear to be due to
non-unique username's. The WebAccess is seeing the internal and
external user names, and not allowing my internal user to login.
Is there a work around for this since the users are in separate domains
and PO's, or do I need to just rename my internal user's account? I
have no control over the external user's e-mail address, so I can't
rename their userid.
Is there a way to keep the "default WebAcess" gateway from looking at
external domain's for user account authentication? I have tried setting
up a class of service in the WebAccess gateway to deny access to the
external domain, and that hasn't worked either.

Excise base not showing in ARE1 & ARE3 docs

Dear All,
When I am creating ARE1 or ARE3 document then under item details, the duty rates & excise base value is not showing in the system thou the Excise duty values are coming correctly.
Due to above I am unable to get it in the print out of ARE 1 & ARE3.
Can you please suggest that it can be due to what reason. Am I missing on some settings?

There is nothing in J1ID.
I have a pricing procedure name ZSFELE for Export.
I went to CIN - Classify Condition Types and maintained ZSFELE alongwith the Condition Types of Excise., viz , JEXP , JECT & JAIX
I also set the Condition Category to H for Excise Conditions, JEXP ( 16% ) , JAIX ( 1% ) and JECT ( 2% ).
Now when i post Excise Invoice all by duty values are blank and is not getting calculated and also gets posted with zero value.
please let me know where i am going wrong.

Can I install Lion and Snow Leopard (pre 10.6.8) on the same (partitioned) internal disk?

If so, how do I handle documents to avoid duplicates - do I need an extra partition or disk? MBP 8,3 17" 2,2 GHz i7 8/500 Gb

Each OS needs its own partition or volume. For documents, put them on a third partition and let each OS access those. Do note that Mail isn't compatible with each OS, so you can't synch those.

Still the same DSL/Internet break-ups

VA02 Internal error in comm. bt configuration and sales doc.GET_CONFIG_MODE

I am on ECC6.0 and get this error. I deleted SD BOM in CS62 and tried opening order in VA02 but no luck; same error: "Internal error in communication between configuration and sales doc.GET_CONFIG_MODE"
I following instruction in notes below (Execute function module)
You must enhance the interface of function module CUKO_DDB_CONFIGURATION_FINISH by import parameter IV_NO_CBASE (reference type C, proposal SPACE, optional).
In Release 4.6C, you must also implement Note 368412.

SAP note 900047 describes a possible reason for this error message.
The note also describes how to use report RCU_CHECK_CONFIGURATION (see SAP note 200914) to be able to open the affected sales orders again.

On trying to login (after submitting credential) to the application we are getting the below error.

Doc ID 975182.1 for EBS-OAM integration is being followed.
We've collected the HTTP traffic but it shows the same 500 internal error and class cast exception. The deployed access gate also shows the same error when in debug mode.
Any pointers would be helpful.

Adobe Reader 10.1.3 "Internal Error" - Mac OSX 10.7.4?

Battling for hours trying to get the Reader to work with a new MBP running 10.7.4. It downloads and installs OK and I get the licensing page but after clicking 'Agree' I just get 'An Internal Error Occurred'.
For hours this drove me mad. I tried deleting, re-installing, eliminating all traces of Adobe from User and Root libraries under Application Support, Preferences and also Internet Plug Ins. I've also tried the (not) fix of installing Java Runtime.
Having done more digging - I have a second 'admin' user on the Mac, just in case I ever have problems with the one I use day to day. When I logged is as THAT administrator, Reader opened and worked?
Adobe Reader worked under the spare Admin account so I deleted that in case it was confusing the installer. I then rerpaired persmissions. I then re-installed Reader. Same problem "Internal Error"!!
So, I re-created another Admin account and again opened Reader. No problem? After clicking accept licence it opened up with a question to make default or not. After this I hunted through every folder and found that Under 'User/Librarary/Application Support/Adobe' there was an Acrobat folder. When I checked the account I normally use there wasn't, and never was?? So I copied pasted a copy of the Acrobat folder into the same location on the non working account and all is fine.
Problem for me is, why did this happen? I wasted almost a day on this. Is it a problem with the installer, the Macbook or Permissions. I checked permissions and they are identical to those on the spare Admin account. So why did the installer not create the Acrobat folder on the main account from where it was installed, the one I was using at the time? Yet with an account created after install it correctly opens up with an Acrobat folder under that User/Library/ Application/Support. Reason it concerns me is with regard to updates. Will they also screw up?
I'll try to explore further as times goes on but for now I have to say I've had enough of Acrobat and Lion for one day. "It just works". Really???

Tagging employee cost to Internal Order

Hi All,
My client wants the Employee costs to be tagged to Internal Order(IO) and interfaced to FI.
This is possible for IT0014 and IT0015 using Cost Assignments where in we can specify the Order - defined in FI(same as internal order).
But my cleint requires it for IT0008 as well. Is it possible? If yes, how?
Secondly is there any config requred on posting side for IO's, Apart from the master data config for IO on FI side.

Suffice it to say this is driving me mad now. I've tried deleting, re-installing, eliminating all traces of Adobe from User and Root libraries under Application Support, Preferences and also Internet Plug Ins. I've also tried the (not) fix of installing Java Runtime.
All in all, epic fail. NOTHING seems to fix it and I think it's time to give up with Adobe Reader and find something else or just stick with preview. So much time to fix a bog standard application (maybe I should stick with Windows where "It just works"). Really is a royal PITA. I've scoured the net for problems and I'm just wondering if it's a commong problem seeing as I don't see many others reporting it. I certainly don't plan on doing a full system restore just to sort this out.
Anyone come across it or got any ideas to save me wasting yet more of my life on this? Any hep appreciated.

i m calling one FM inside the loop, this FM will return data in internal table. for each loop count i want to save this data to same other internal table, how to do that?
i want to append the one internal tables data to another internal table how to do that?

Internal Table Memory Allocation

Hello all,
I could understand the difference between Internal Table with occurs 0 and internal table with type declaration...
correct me if i am wrong, occurs 0 declaration occupies 8kb memory and header line 256 bytes...
But what i could not get is...
Where can i view this internal table runtime memory usage?? Should i have to check that in some transaction???
If that is the case, what transaction i should look at?? Can i view this in debugging mode??? I tried GOTO -> STATUS DISPLAY -> MEMORY USE and i have tried even SETTINGS -> MEMORY MONITORING ->MEMORY DISPLAY ON...Nothing worked..
when i go for GOTO -> STATUS DISPLAY -> MEMORY USE in debugging
memory allocated seems to be same for Internal table with occur 0 and Internal table with type declaration
I have searched a lot about this in SDN....But could not come to a conclusion......
I don't have authorisation here for DBG_MEMORY_DIFFTOOL or S_MEMORY_INSPECTOR unfortunately.....

You can view this on Debugger(ECC6.0) onwards.
To find out how much memory internal tables occupy, choose Goto --> Display Condition --> Memory Usage.
Choose Change Settings to display a window, in which you can choose the Internal Tables button.

Internal table data download to XML format

I see the sample XML has field values embedded as XML element attributes.ie <Raaka-aine Ryhma=" Value ">. For such specific requirements:
1. Loop through the table and Use iXML library functions to build the complete XML, element by element. Help - http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/86/8280ba12d511d5991b00508b6b8b11/frameset.htm
2. You can create an XSLT Transformation that match the specific XML format, and use CALL TRANSFORMATION to convert internal table to that specific XML format.
Few Standard Function modules and class CL_XML_DOCUMENT may help for generic SAP XML conversions, where XML element names will be same as internal table field names. Not, sure if these can be used to generate specific XML formats.

Moving multiple projects that reference the same one event...

After a help and advice from several of you here, and watching and rewatching some tutorials, I finally figured out how to properly move/archive projects to an external drive. But I do have at least one question:
Say I copy a project to an external drive along with its referenced event(s). All is well as far as that project concerned, and I want to delete both the project and the event it references from my secondary internal drive. But I have some other versions of that same project I also want to move from the same secondary internal drive to the same external drive. Of course, I don't want to duplicate the referenced event again. So how do I do this?
From the tutorials, I'm guessing the best way to do this would be to duplicate the projects to the external drive. Then, if I find I want to use them, I can open them and link them to the same event on the external drive.
Is that the best way to do this? I don't guess there's any way to move several projects that all reference one event to an external drive in a way that automatically links them to that event on the new drive?

Thanks for the link to the tutorial. I'll definitely watch it. It's actually by the same people that did the tutorials I'm using, but it might have some new information or help reinforce things.
My particular problem was moving over the other project files to go with the event that I already moved. I didn't know how to link them to that newly-created event on the new drive, but, it turns out it's pretty automatic as long as the event has the same name.
