ArrayTypes with complexType members

I am basically pleased with WL7's initial support of web services. I have followed
the complexType examples provided and succesfully built the TraderService. I can
likewise build web services for my company that return single result complex types.
However, when I attempt to use Java arrays of complex types or java.util.ArrayList
to return multiple result complex content / complex types, I receive the attached
error. What am I doing incorrectly?

Thanks for your comments.
From the stack trace you posted, it seems you are using an older version
of WLS (I think WLS 7.0 GA). The latest version is WLS 7.0.0.1 and
it supports JAX-RPC 1.0.
WLS do support ArrayList, but if possible it is better to use array. If you
use ArrayList, the schema inside the generated WSDL will use anyType.
So by looking at the WSDL alone, client will not know what data type
the web service accept. Instead, if you use arrays, the WSDL will
contain the definition for your data type.
An array example that works with 7.0.0.1 is attached.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can share they space if they all use the same Apple ID, but that's not really a good idea, because you'll then share contacts, calendars, photos etc etc.

Share iCloud drive with family members

Has anybody figured out how to share iCloud drive with family members?
I was using Amazon Cloud drive which used to have an app you could download and imbed into Finder, but with OS X 10.1 this is no longer supported so I've switched over to iCloud drive. So far it is working seamlessly, except for the fact the my wife has to log into my iCloud account on the web in order to download the files. Ideally I could share iCloud drive and she'd simply log into finder on her mac to view our files and records.

You can only share iCloud Drive with someone else if they also log in to the same account. Otherwise, your sharing will be limited to the sharing options of the file itself, which is extremely limited. Hopefully they will add more options as time goes on, but for now, thats where iCloud Drive is at, in its infancy.

Sharing files with other members of my family on the wireless network

I would like to share my files with other members of my family on the wireless network. Unfortunately, their pcs are MS Windows OS and connected in workgroup type while I am on Mac. I can access internet via the same wireless router but cannot see other members. Can someone advise How I can accomplish it. Thanks!

I don't have personal experience with this, but I was reading this article earlier today, and it seems to address your situation. I think the solution is on page 2.

Perhaps you should read these Apple documents about what is stored by iCloud. The following is from this Apple document: iCloud: iCloud storage and backup overview:

I'm not going to be of much use regarding answers but I sure am going to watching this post like a hawk for any replies. My package is a slightly diluted version of this and I do find the BBtalk and data limits hard to make the most of as well.
If nothing else this totally highlights how complicated BT have managed to make their packages.
A cynic would assume that they are trying to catch us out at every step and for us to either be overspending or not really getting the moneys worth.

I open a pdf file with club members names and emails. I used to be able to click on the members email and a outlook box would appear with the email address .

I have a list of names and email addresses (250) and in a previous version of firefox I would go on the web page and when I would place the curser over the members email address and click it would automatically bring up an Outlook email to send box with the members email address already listed and ready for me to enter any information. This new firefox version (19) just lets the curser go across the email address and nothing happens when I click. How do I get the previous feature back?

Current Firefox versions have enabled a new build-in PDF Viewer and that viewer doesn't have all the features that the Adobe Reader has.
You can change the action for Portable Document Format (PDF) from Preview in Firefox to use the Adobe Reader or set to Always Ask.

You can set the pdfjs.disabled pref to true on the about:config page to completely disable the build-in PDF viewer and use the Adobe Reader instead.

Report script with attribute members

 In a report script, is there a way to output the attribute members associated with a base mbr. For example, the base member I'm interested in is item codes which is in a sparse dimension with 500k members. Each code has been tagged with 5 attribute members of buyer, warehouse, vendor, product line, and date of last receipt. Desired output is: Item Code, Buyer, warehouse, vendor, product, and date of last receipt. Right now I don't care about data at any intersections, rather I just want to output the various attributes associated with each item code. I tried doing dimbottom on items, buyers, warehouse, vendor, etc, but as expected the report would not run. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Cannot create a group with no members through DAS

I'm using OID 10.1.2.0.2.
It seems that the DAS Self Service Console cannot work with groups with no members:
- When creating a group, it always assigns orcladmin as a member.
- When deleting the last member from a group, an error is shown ("Require at least one user or group member").
- If you create an empty group via other means (e.g. the oidadmin tool), the group will not be visible in the "role assignment" section when creating a new user (even though we enabled that group for role assignment in the "user entry" configuration). After adding one member through the "edit group" page, the role shows up in the role assignment section.
I have a couple of questions regarding this:
1) Is this limitation (group must have at least one member) an ldap or OID limitation, or is it only a DAS or even "self service console" limitation?
2) Why is this limitation there?
3) Is there a way to work around this, i.e. make self service console be able to handle empty groups?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not agree that a group owner should be a member of that group. For example, I have a group "admins" and a group "analysts". The "admins" group is owner of the "analysts" group, since the users in the "admins" group must be able to create users and assign them to the "analysts" group. However, the "admins" group is not member of the "analysts" group, because I do not want the admins to act as analysts in my application. Ownership of a group (being able to manage it) and membership of a group are two different things. Besides, I also do not understand why the OIDDAS makes the orcladmin user a member of every group that you create there.
Of course, eventually I will have members in my group. But why is it a problem that there are initially no members of a group? I see no reason at all why this would be a problem.
The reason why I ask this is that creating an empty group (initially) is a requirement of my setup process. I am trying to release a clean setup script (with an ldif file) out of development, that our operational department can use to set things up. I want my ldif file to prepare all the necessary groups and owners, but not to create members in those groups (that's the task of the operational people).
However, as soon as I have these empty groups in place, the OIDDAS starts to act strangely (namely, the groups are not visible in the "role assignment" section when creating a user, until there is at least one member in the groups). That's when I found out that the OIDDAS actually does not like having empty groups (error when creating group without members, error when removing last member, ...).
If anyone knows, can you give me one good reason why the OIDDAS does not allow empty groups (or making groups empty)? As far as I can see, the OID/LDAP itself does not have a problem with this (you can create an empty group without any problem via the oidadmin application, or via import of an ldif file).

File/Directory Sharing With Team Members

Is file/directory sharing with team members going to be added or should I be using dropbox or some other utility to provide this functionality? This would seem like a MANDATORY requirement for teams that are geographically dispersed such as mine. Of course a versioning system on top of this would also be of great help.

Create SCOM Group with dynamic members about 10minutes !

in our SCOM 2012 SP1 (CU3) environment with about 800 Windows Agents.
OperationsDB on a Windows Cluster (2 physical server with 2 processors (six cores). Datawarehouse on separate cluster.
When i create a group with dynamic members, it took about 10min. During this period all the consoles are busy and freezing.
Is that normal ?

SQL Query to get collections with no members

So I have a query that I'm using to give me collection information (collection ID, collection name, count) but it only shows me collections that have at least 1 member.
This is what I have been using:
SELECT v_Collection.Name ,v_Collection.Comment,v_Collection.CollectionID,COUNT(*) as [Members] FROM v_Collection,v_FullCollectionMembership
where v_Collection.CollectionID=v_FullCollectionMembership.CollectionID

How can I modify the query so it includes collections with no members? We are trying to clean up unnecessary collections.

Hopefully I can help resolve this issue for you. Try removing the preference to sync calendar events in iCloud preferences. Once this is down enable the preference again and see if this resolves the issue.
Turn iCloud Calendars off and back on:
Quit Calendar (or iCal).
Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, then select iCloud.
Deselect the checkbox next to Calendars.
Close System Preferences and wait about a minute.
Open System Preferences and select iCloud.
Replace the checkmark next to Calendars.
Close System Preferences.
Open Calendar (or iCal) and test to see if the issue is resolved.
Restart your computer. This may sound simple, but it reinitializes your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.
If the issue persists, try all remaining steps in the article below.
