Article Master--Sales view--Problem

Hi
I have 2 Purchasing orgs say 1000 and 2000
I am creating a vendor for purchase org 1000 say Vendor 1
I am creating an article with all views and with purchase org 1000 and Vendor 1 in purchasing view with condition PB00 maintained
In my sales view i am entering all details and vendor as Vendor 1 and Purchase org as 1000 and have done necessary config for carrying out sales price calculations and save this article
In MM42 when i see the sales view of this article Vendor shows correct and purchase org is showing incorrectly as 2000
I am giving once again purchase org as 1000 and saving it system displays message as sales price calc is performed
But again in MM42 or MM43 the purchase org is showing incorrectly as 2000
From where does the system pick the purchase org in the sales view of AMR?
The vendor doesnt lie in that purchase org 2000 which the system is defaultly taking
Because of this my conditions and inforecords are not read by system and sales price calculations are not been performed?

This is defined in customizing of attributs of a material type.
Because of this you have to make sure that you do not transfer sales data for a material type that does not have sales views.
Which views you actually want to create is defined in field PSTAT. Each character stands for a certain view (defined in table T132)

Are your matrials split valuated?
if you want create accoutning data in MBEW table with MBEW-PSTAT having BG status, then you have to make sure that MARA and MARC PSTAT field also has the B and G .

Interactive ALV to report to get into Material Master Sales View

Hi,
I want to know way to get into Material master Sales view from an Interactive ALV report.
In the output we have (custom report for Sales) the Sales Order item information. If the user double clicks on the material, it should directly goes to the Material Master Sales org 1 view. I can able to get to MM03 initial screen to display the list of views, but it would be better we can use the Plant, Sales Org and plant info from Sales Item to get into the material master Sales view.
I checked that this functionality is there in the standard code. If you double click on the material in Purchase order display(ME23N) from the item level, it is directly getting into Material Master Purchasing view. Is there a way to achieve this.
Your suggestions would be appreciated with points. Thanks!

Yes, it's possible using the CALL TRANSACTION command with the addition AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN. The only thing that you need is to fill the fields from the first screen (SET PARAMETER command).

SET PARAMETER ID: 'CAR' FIELD carrid,
'CON' FIELD connid.

Problem creating Material Master sales view with LSMW

Hello experts,
I have created a LSMW that uses the direct input program RMDATIND to create new material master records. These materials have different material types.
I require fields from different views like Purchasing, Sales, MRP and accounting, among others. But not all the material types have all the view defined. I will like, if it's possible, use the same LSMW program to upload all the materials.
The problem that I'm having if once I ran the program, I got the warning message "The data for the maintenance statuses V cannot be transferred", message no. MG161, and even the material is created the sales view is it not. I check all the sales data in my CSV file and looks good.
I'm also having in some records, the warning message "The data for the maintenance statuses BG cannot be transferred". That indicate problems with the accounting view.
As an extra information, I'm using the following structures BMM00, BMMH1, BMMH2, BMMH5 and BMMH7.
Hope you can help me to solve this issue.

No tax info in Material Master - Sales Views

Hi gurus,
while maintaining sales views in materials master, tax info is not showing as it should under Sales Organization 1 data.
Any idea of necessary settings to introduce tax info in sales org. 1 data?

Victor, it's very likely your settings are missing under:
SPRO > Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Taxes
e.g.
SPRO > Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Taxes > Assign Delivering Plants For Tax Determination
remark: these questions are much more relevant to SD than MM (you can post your question in SD forum) and searching you may find answers...

Avilablity Check in Material Master Sales View

Avilablity check 02 (individual) in Material Master -- Sales General/Plant View..
Will this impact only Planning or Delivery creation also ?
How does this setting works
Let us say, If a material set 02 and no stock. Will the delivery be not able to created ?

Its all depend how your Avilablity configured, with combination of checking rule, check T.code OVZ9, you see the defination.

Material master sales view.

hi gurus,
Iam getting an error "material is not defined for sales from india". the long text of error message says that tax indicators were not maintained in material master.
tried to maintain indicators in material master, but unable to see any column for entering tax indicators in master in sales views.
Am I missing any config steps please guide me

Goto OVK1 check for Tax country (IN) what tax category is mantained...For Eg JTX1..JTX2 then goto OVK4 and maintain tax class for JTX1,JTX2.....Tax Class 0-----Zero Tax

Article Master Data View Extend in listing

Hi Experts,
I have already listed article to one site and logistic data is being maintained accordingly. Now, i like to extend/ list article to another site. Since the site is diff, the logistic data would also defer. I am able to list to another site through listing Tcode. WSP4 but i also want simultaneously the logistic data should get copied to article master data with reference to the site which i have listed.
How should i config the system in when i do article listing to another site, the logistic data get automatic maintained to article master data ?

We already have that setting in customizing for RFDC/RFST, when we list article to another site which logistic data may not be the same RFDC and hence we have to maintain it. I m looking for setting which can create logistic data of the site to which we have listed article.
Sales Data of the article should also get created which in turn helpful in automating logistic process in d system. Any help/ suggestion.

Article master Purchasing view not showing up

We are using SAP retail and just created some articles using MM41. However, when I go to MM42 the purchasing view is not showing up. What could be the reason? Need help

HI,
May be while creating a Material initially they have not selected purchasing view when they created the material.
If you want the purchasing view then we have to extend the material to the purchasing views which is done b MM50. select purchasing view and then maintain the relevant data for the material.

Hi,
For making any field in material master optional/mandatory/hide , follow the steps:
1.Just click the tab ,(Which is u want to be mandatory)and get the field name
2.Go to T.Code: OMSR and enter that field name and get Selection Group
3.1. Use t.Code: OMS2 and click your material type and in next screen check Field reference ( you have assigned for material type){{ ( example :;For ROH material type the Field reference is ROH)
3.2. use T.code:OMS9,, Double Click your Field Reference and select field selection Group & select round box of mandatory and save

We wish to retur material to vendor via Delivery process Return PO --> Delivery --> Goods issue
We ticketed 'Return to Vendor' checkbox, we created ship-to customer and saved Vendor
now my question is Do we need create material master sales view??
Ideally since thse will be purchase materials will not have sales view

Yes,you need to extend material master(using MM01)
for sales view i.e,sales orgn1,sales orgn2,sales:general plant data.

IS Retail - Article Sales Price Updation in Article Master

Hai guys,
I created a new article (mm41) and I enetered Purchasing price in the 'Purchasing' tab. But when I give a mark up percentage in the 'Sales' tab, the price is not updating / changing as per the percentage. However I saw this feature working fine in some others' system.

SPRO>Logistics general>Retail pricing>Sales Price Calculation>Assign Pricing Type/Reference Site to Organizational Level
U should have pricing type say 0001 & reference site assigned to sales org, distribution channel combination
Article master will calculate sales prices based on this & mark up u have maintained for mechandise category in wva1

3. I create a view link to create master-detail relationship for these 2 view objects.
masterview.SourceBlock (1)->detailview.SourceBlock (*).
4. I create a tree table using these 2 view objects with master-detail relationship.
When I set default value for variable bindings of these 2 view objects and the matching records exist, tree table can work well. I can expand the master row to display detail row in UI.
But I need to pass in dymamic parameter value for variable bindings of these 2 view objects, tree table cannnot work again. when I expand the master row and no detail row are displayed in UI.
I am sure that I pass in correct parameter value for master/detail view objects and matching records exist.

5. What's wrong in my implementation? I don't have no problem to implement such a tree table if using simple master-detail tables view object, but now I have to use such 2 view objects using complex SQL for my requirement and variable bindings are necessary for detail view object although I also think a bit strange by myself.

Sales view / Tax classification upload in material master - LSMW

Hi All,
While Creating in LSMW using RMDATIND Batch input method for material mater creation . I am getting an error of "you have not fully maintained tax classification" (M172 error message).
LSMW details are as follows:
Project, sub-proj, object : SCIMM,SCIMM,SCI_MM_CREATE
Please suggest the field value mapping section of LSMW and suggest me how to fix the problem.
When I create masters manually, in sales view/tax classification 4 tax categories (3 for CA CTX1,CTX2,CTX3 and one for US UTXJ) are getting populated automatically and I need to key-in only 0 or 1 for tax values (ex material :KCC9800MEKIT for sales org 2000, dc 70, dv 70).
Please sugget me how to fix this issue.

LSMW TAX classification for materials
In the above thread, you have specified
1. If you have a separate file for tax codes to be applied for different materials then you need to map the records of this file to BMMH2 ( multiple records for a material possible for different countries). Then you need to map BGR00, BMM00 & BMMH1 with another header file with one record for material for the corresponding records on file which correcponds to BMMH2.
I require your help to implement the above step. As mentioned by you, I have 3 tax codes for CA and one for US (2 diff countries) for each material to be maintained in Tax classification.
I have created a main source structure SS which has fields for all views (basic view, sales view, purchasing, plant/sloc and warehouse). I have created a substructure SSTAX for main source structure SS for Tax fields (Aland, taxty,taxm1) and assigned to BMMH2. Will this work or we need to create two source structure (at same level) for this requirement.
I am bit confused on how to link these two input files. I created one record for material xyz in header file and 4 records in tax file (4 tax categories ctx1,ctx2,ctx3 and utxj). How to create one to one relationship working between header and tax file. How the tax file structure will be for 10 material records?
