Asia/[China] - wrong dayligh saving information?

'loha Folks,
because the Timezone information was obsolete, i recently updated the Java Timezone data from 'tzdata2003a' to 'tzdata2008g' by using 'tzupdater.jar'.
After as before, the values seem to be wrong for China. As far as i know, there is just one Timezone and there is no daylight saving time at all, but the Timezone information i see is, that there is a certain daylight saving time (useDaylightTime() returns true for AsiaShanghai for example).
It would be helpful to know, if anyone else has the same (wrong) information and, if not, how to change the values manually.
java.version: 1.4.2_08
JRE time zone data version: tzdata2008g
Embedded time zone data version: tzdata2008g

You're right, i did not think about that. Suns Java TimeZone class returns the correct information:
System.out.println("***** Timezone = " + TimeZone.getTimeZone("Asia/Shanghai"));
***** Timezone = sun.util.calendar.ZoneInfo[id="Asia/Shanghai",offset=28800000,dstSavings=0,useDaylight=false,transitions=19,lastRule=null]But NSTimeZone inherits from java.util.TimeZone, hence it should reference the same information...or - and i would not understand why - the NSTimeZone class references other (redundant) information (NSTimeZone is part of Apples WebObjects framework).

Missing All Saved Information After Shutdown

I've had my macbook pro for about a week.
I shut it down this morning and when I turned it back on all my saved information was missing. Including my aperature pictures, itunes, bookmarks, desktop wallpaper, and all program settings. Its like I was on a different user, but I've signed off and on a couple times now on the same account (only one on my computer) and still nothing.
I have turned it off before and nothing like this has happened.
Anyone having this problem or know how to cure it?

If you do not have FileVault enabled, open the Users folder on your hard disk and look in the folders inside that folder for your data. If you find it, rename folders inside of Users so that the folder with your files has the name which the folder with the house icon previously had.

Could it be, that there are wrong fileset size information at the HP-UX download page for Oracle 9i??
I found the information:
server_9201_hpunix64_disk1.cpio.gz (566,419,019 bytes)
server_9201_hpunix64_disk2.cpio.gz (648,282,885 bytes)
server_9201_hpunix64_disk3.cpio.gz (538,652,554 bytes)
server_9201_hpunix64_disk4.cpio.gz (37,595,939 bytes)
and my archives open but have different sizes.

Problem saving information about your mailboxes

My Mail account freezes when a message comes up saying 'There is a problem saving information about your mailboxes' .. it just scrolls saying 'it may take a while to determine the problem, .. should I just leave it to do this or is there anything else I can do to fix the problem?

Let the thing run in SBBOD paralysis mode for 3 hours. Up pops a message "kill Mail, will re-import all your messages on restart". Had to force quit to kill. Relaunch - by George it did so. Took forever. Fixed itself. Weird.

Hi, made a really stupid mistake by typing in my password incorrectly twice for a new email account, and think they have all been saved in the password manager... so now, everytime when I try to log in, three passwords will come up for me to choose.... really annoying, how can I delete the wrong passwords?? Reading between the lines (...the word entire gave me a much needed clue) I realized that both my wife and I had passwords to this website and I needed to delete both sets of lines. After months of not thinking of this system quirk it's now done. Thanks.
Of course, I had been clicking on the entire line, username-website-password, but it hadn't been working. I had given up months ago but now just felt lucky to try again.

Saving information in pdf created in Adobe forms

I am certain there is a simple solution to this issue but I cannot find the answer. I have created some template forms in FormCentral that I use in a therapy clinic. Once I have created the forms I save them as a pdf. I then enter the information relating to the patient then save the pdf. However, when I send this pdf form to other people the form they open in blank. Can someone please let me know how to make save the information I enter into a form that have created in FormCentral and saved as pdf. I don't have any requirements for others to complete the forms I create. Just want to save my info. Thanks!

You need to find out what devices and apps or programs are being used to view the PDFs.
Many mobile apps that can read basic PDF documents cannot process PDF forms and form fields.

Siri has the wrong contact saved. How do I change it?

I've just got my new iPad and I've been playing with Siri for the first time. I asked it to text mum and dad. It asked which contact and I selected the wrong one. How do I change this so it texts the right person in future?

What's happened is I have a cousin with the same name as my dad. I didn't think about it when I selected Chris. Mum and dad are saved as mum & dad but when I send a text or email via Siri it sends it to Chris and mum and dad!
I hope that makes sense. I want to stop it sending the message to Chris but still send to mum and dad. They are different contacts!

Saving information in forms

Hi i hace been able to save information in forms after moving from one form to another in java swing applcation. i got rid of the dispose() code. however is there a way to actually keep the cutrrent values when i exit the application and open it again with the values that were entered before still there in the textfields. thank you

To save the information in a Form/Dialog when you exit the Swing Application.
Make your form class implement java.io.Serializable

Numbers loses saved information

I am running the latest version of Numbers, when I have updated a sheet I save it and replace the existing file. When I reopen the file up to 24hrs later, it has lost some or all of the updated information.
It has not created another updated file elsewhere on the hard-drive, I am now totally lost as to what is going wrong.
Any assistance with this problem would be gratefully received as I use Numbers to arrange and catalogue meetings for my business and I have come close to missing important meetings due to this problem.

Are you using Numbers as a single user or is the file stored on a network with several users?
As I have already explained several times, if you are multi-users, the described behavior is not surprising.

Everybody I asked says, this procedure is done by all exporting companies in China, but I didn't found a solution in SAP. Do you know a solution?
I heard a lot of toll manufacturing. How does it work?
Is there a chance to save the taxes without changing logistics?

Wrong SMTP Header Information

We have noticed that some emails have information in the data section of the SMTP header that looks like "johndoe@ <company.com>" instead of "[email protected]" if they are sent to any mailbox on our Exchange 2010 server.
This wasn't the case before we upgraded to Exchange 2010. Has anyone seen this type of situation before?

Did this issue take an effect which someone didn’t receive emails?
What is CU of current Exchange 2010?
There are two values in address, which is display and email address, for example ‘displayname<[email protected]>’
We could not make sure which values which is wrong, if displayname Is wrong, we could check it in recipient mailbox and if it is consistent with address format, for example johndoe@ <company.com>. So we suggest you send a header information and displayname
on EMC to [email protected] for our troubleshooting.
