Asset Insurance tab - Insurance type for manual insurance value

Hi all,
I need to set Manual Value Insurance for assets.
As a consequence I have to set an appropriate Insurance type. If I don't set the Insurance type then the system doesn't record value in Asset Master Data.
When I access the transaction for creating Insurance type (OAVD), the system only allows me to set:
- Insurance on basis of book value;
- Ins. rate required.
There is not setting about manual insurance values.
Could anyone tell me which is the right setting for creating an Insurance type for manual insurance??
Thank you in advance

Thank you for the answer, but I would like to know how to set an Insurance type for manual posting of values.
If I want to insert Manual Insur. Value, do I have to set the depreciation area? Are there any other settings?
Waiting for your reply.
thank you

  • Blocking of Inspection type for manual transaction

    Dear Experts,
    How to block a particular inspection type while creating a inpection lot manually using QA01 .
    Thanks.

    Hi SAP Lover,
                          Mr. Syamal said very right , Your Basis guy can assign the authorization in such a way that this object type can be blocked. You want to block '01' inspection type to restrict and other inspection type are OK to make the manual inspection lot then it is quaite possible by just restricted the inspection type '01' object.

    Hi gurus
    I want to know one thing,
    When we create a sales order the system take the shipping condition value from the doc type first,if it does not get any value then only it serch customer master for the value.
    I just want to know that why the system gives first priority to doc type shipping con value?
    What is the reason behind it?
    it was asked me in an interview
    Please give me the ans.

    Hi Babi,
    Mostly SAP systems are built in such a way that it gives you control for same functionality at various levles.In your case if you configure the shipping conditions at the document type then (irrespective of what shipping conditions are maintainned at customer master)they are defaulted .This is required to default shipping conditions for some perticular business scenarios like all rush orders to be shipped from express shipping point.
    But if yoiu do not want the more generic control then the same can be at customer master level.

  • Manual payment is not allowed - Order type for payment

    Hi
    I 'm doing a rebate payment, but when I want to input a manual payment, I get "manual payment is not allowed for this agreement type".
    I moved to 'define agreement type' hoping , filling the "Payment procedure" to "C" might resolve this issue. However this gives rise to yet another error :-
    Pl. see <a href="http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u200/masarada/untitled_1.jpg">here</a>
    help only shows <a href="http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u200/masarada/untitled_2.jpg">this</a>
    my basic idea is to edit <a href="http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u200/masarada/untisdxtled.jpg">this with a manual amount</a>
    how am I to resolve this ?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    In the screen shot u sent u did not maintain document type for manual payments, in the field partial settlement u have to specify the document type which is defined to make the manual payments, the standard order type defined for manual accruals is R3.once u made the manual payments accrual which r already posted to finance must be reversed, for that u have to check reverse accruals.I hope this will solve ur problem.

  • Condition types for Insurance and Duties - Export sales

    Hi Friends,
    Please let me know the condition types i can make use of for capturing the Insurance and duties paid during export salesand also the condition type for capturing the commission.
    Thanks
    Ivy

    Dear ivy
    You can create zee condition types on your own and maintain the required datas.  I am just give you one example for insurance.
    Go to V/06, copy some standard discount condition type and rename it as ZEIN and maintain the following:-
    Cond. class:::::::::::::::: A
    Calculat.type::::::::::::::: A
    Cond.category::::::::::::::C
    Rounding rule::::::::::::::::Commercial
    Plus/minus::::::::::::::::::::blank
    Manual entries:::::::::::::::D
    Amount/percent::::::::::::::X
    Value::::::::::::::::::::::::::::X
    In V/07, you can maintain the following tables
    033:::::::::Incoterms
    307::::::::Customer with Release Status
    So in VK11, either you can maintain the insurance percentage for Incoterm or Customer, so that whenever you generate sales order with multiple line items, this condition will automatically bifurcate the insurance percentage.  Also the most important is that in your pricing procedure, against this condition type, you have to assign EIN as Account Key.

  • Insurance values for transferred assets

    Another question, please.  When transferring an asset, the current insurable value of the newly created asset is the value in depreciation area 49 (insurance) of the old asset.  We would like the base insurable value that is showing in the master data insurance tab of the old asset to be the current insurable value of the newly created asset.  Can we do this?

    Hi,
    Please refer to the below thread.
    How can we update current ins value to match insurance depr area?

  • Authorization object for manual condition type in sale order

    Hi experts
    I want ask them, If exist an authorization object for manual Condition type (KOMV-KSCHL) in the sales order (VA01/VA02), that the user don' t can create neither modify the sale orden with a specific manual condition type (payment term) by stardard way.
    Best regards
    John Angulo

    HI John,
    I would be surprised to know that someone uses the Payment terms as a condition in the Pricing procedure for sales orders. The payment terms define when the customer agrees to pay, (15, 20, 45 ,....days or 5 years or 10 years....whatever it be)
    this detail for what i know is in the sales order header,and ideally has nothing to do with the Item level material price conditions.
    its ok, If you mean something else by payment terms.....in principle you can have a conditon type restrcited such that manual entries on the condition are not possible. this cane be done in SPRO customizing, i am sure your functional consultants would know what to do (SPRO->Sales and Distribution->Basic Function->Condition Types), in the tab "Changes that can be made" have a value that says manual Processing is not allwowed
    The ABAP route mentioned above is for a different scenarion and i dont think it is necessary for your requirement

  • Conditions types for Assets

    Dear Guru's,
    Do we need select different condn types for Normal tax code & Asset tax codes ?
    Now For domestic purchasing purpose, i have created a tax code with Excise, EC & SEC+VAT
    with JMOP, JEC1,JSEP,JVRD,JMX1,JEX1 & JHX1
    can i use the same to asset purchasing as well or do we need have a diff condn types ?
    If so pls let me know the condn types for Asset tax code.
    pls suggest
    Regds,
    Channa

    In that case you need to mantain the condition records with tax code and country combination (key combination)..
    The while creating the PO as i told you earlire the condition records will be called by the system by putting the tax code in the tax code field in invoice tab at item details level.
    Note: If in your company the condition records are mantained with the above mentioned key combination then no need to create new condition records in FV11, first check if the condition records for your tax code and contry combination in FV13.
    Now for GR, you will have to mantain the J1ID transaction, with only plant code and the chapter id combination since for asset material you are not having material code, set the register type as Capital goods. And complete the procurement cycle.
    Hope it clarifies your doubts.

  • Document Type for Assets

    Hi
    I have requirement that there should be special PO Document type for Asset and the user should be able to use only that document type for Asset .However if I go to Document type there are item categories allowed but not Account Assignment category which will help to restrict the Document Type.
    Any suggestion so that we can restrict/default the document type for Assets?
    Regards

    Hi,
    You can define PO Document type for Asset in following path
    SPRO-.MM-> Purchasing -> Purchase Order->Define Document Types
    But only link "standard" item categories for PO Document type for Asset & in basis side in authorization , you can control creation of asset PO with account assignment A for PO Document type for Asset.

  • Can we attach requirement for manual condition type

    Hi,
    Pricing question....
    ZOTH is the manual condition type
    (The condition type configuration: - Manually editable, no access sequence attached )
    (Pricing procedure : - No alternative calculation type attached)
    Can I attach a requirement to ZOTH in the pricing procedure?
    Laxman

    hi,
    we can very well have requirements for manual conditions also. Like we have standard requirement "2" Item with pricing and this is assigned to PN00 ( Net price ) condition which is a manual condition.
    you can check in RVAA01 pricing proc. also

  • Defining the Fields for Manual Entries in Conditions Type

    Dear Team,
                      I want to define new fields in the Option Manual Entries in Condition Type eg PR00 . Can you tell me the Setting where do we define those settings and where are they control.
    Thanks,
    Prashant

    Hi
    The option provided for Manual Conditios are Hard Coded by the SAP, and you can not add any new option. If you want to check, pl. check the value range of Domain KMANU, where it is maintained.
    What is your requirement? May be you can fulfill your requirement by some other mean, like USER EXIT.
