Assigne Purchase request

HI,
Is it possible to assigne automatically purchase requests to two vendors independentlly of the quote?
Example:
First PR to Vendor 1
Second PR to Vendor 2
Third PR to Vendor 1
Fourth PR to Vendor 2
Thanks.

Yes, it can happens, but in some conditions,
1. You have to use quota arrangement..
2. You have to make same PR quantity for all time..
Create quota arrangement for maximum quantity as below
Vendor 1 = 100.
Vendor 2 = 101.
Quota for vendor will be 1 for vendor 2 and 2 for vendor 1.
Create first PR for quantity 10, your vendor 1 will trigger.. Save the PR. Your allocate quantity will change for vendor 1 as 10.
Then create PR for quantity 10, your vendor 2 will trigger. Save the PR, Your allocate quantity will changed for vendor 2 as 10.
Then again try to create PR for quantity 10, you can see vendor 1 will in this source..
You have to take care about 1 thing, PR quantity will be always same for each two times..
If your first PR will create for quantity 10, then second PR has to be create for quantity 10..
If you create 3rd PR for quantity 30, then you have to create 4th PR for quantity 30. Other wise quota sequence will not work..
You can also use the option quota base Qty...

    Hi,
How did you create material. Have you given Plant & Storage location while creting it.
Create material using mm01 trxn code
click on Organizational levels - Give plant & Storage location
Select views and input all the values and save.
First check in MM60 by specifying only material whether it is existing in that particular plant or not.

  • No commitment line item in Purchase requestion after deletion .

    Hi SAP FICO experts
Please provide solution for the issue .
User created a line item 20 in the  purchase requestion with account assignment u2018Fu2019 (orders ) and  deleted this Item 20, usually when deleted ,the line item will be there with deleted symbol, but the line item was not there in the PR
But commitment values for item 20 are shown in PR menu (Environment -> AC Commitment documents ) and in T.code KOB2 (Commitment  line items for orders )and in report S_ALR_87013019 (budget/actual commitments)
So user was not able to process new PR with reference to their own budget.so i want to make the commitment value to zero .
one more thing our client has upgraded to ECC6.0 ,will it be the problem for this .

In most of the cases Problem with Commitments are expected for no valid reason. I suggest you to run Program RKANBU01 to fix incorrect commitment. If this is not solved check If you have program ZKAOIDE0 in your system. You can run this program to solve the issue.

  • Purchase request alert

    Hi Experts,
How can i get the alert message when any user raises the PURCHASE REQUEST to Purchase department? Is there any default functionality available? or should i need query for that alert?  I'm using SAP Business One 9.0 PL 5.
Help me in this. Waiting for reply.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sai.

    Hi Sai...
You can use the query for the customized alerts. Use the below query you can add the required fields in the query what you needed.
    Select Distinct T0.docnum, T0.docdate from OPRQ t0 where t0.docdate = CONVERT(VARCHAR(10),GETDATE(),110)
Save the query in the query generator. Call the query in the alert management window, set the time interval and assign to the required users.
    Hope Helpful

  • Workflow for Purchase request

    Hi all,
I would be glad, if someone can let me know weather SAP B1 9.0 supports purchase request object in Workflow.
If yes let me know the process.

    Hi Aarya,
Check whether approver 1 can release PR for approver 2 and approver 3 with normal ME54N transaction. If yes, then its an issue of authorization.
Check out the authorization object M_EINK_FRG in user profile in this case. I think the authorization for release codes assigned to approver 2 and 3 is given to approver 1.

  • Purchase Request grouping logic for Service items

    Dear Guru,
I'm working with the following scenario: SRM 7, ECC 6.04 and classic scenario implementation.
Durinh the Shopping Cart / Purchase Requisition creation, if I will create Shopping Cart wth two or more services items with the same Service Number and only the WBS element different in SAP ECC system the Purchase Request contain one Service item with two row and multiple account assignment category.
My customer require that in this case two item services will be created on ECC system with one row for each service and single account assignment category.
Do you have idea for the possible solution?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Source of supply for Service Purchase request. ESM

Source of supply for Service request.
In the customizing for external source of supply, I am making the customizing at client level
SPRO (IMG) -> Materials Management -> External Services Management ->
Source Determination and Default Values -> for Client
In ‘Source determination’ I have checked the customizing to consider
    A.  Material group at item level
    B.  And I am also selecting one of the 3 below at service level.
    1.     All service
    2.     At least one service
    3.     No search at service level
Issue is, the source list I get in ME51N for a given purchase request item is considering only the material group customizing.
I do not see any change in the source list out of making change in the customizing at service level(Customizing B above).
So, is there any other customizing or other case which determines the list.
In short , I am getting same result in the source list irrespective of the customizing I do at service level (Customizing B above).

    Hello David,
System assign only one supplier for one PR and even with the quota arrangement also  if you have multiple proposals  then the  system assign the same supplier for all the proposals this is standard behavior you can add this to ideas forum.
kindly submit it to SAP via the SAP Idea Forum.
    - Open the Help on the too right of the system.
    - Click "Make SAP Business ByDesign better", it
will lead you to the idea forum.
    - Submit your new feature in the forum. SAP will review your
new feature requests form customers or partners and plan it in the future

  • Inventory receipt against account assigned Purchase order

    Hi,
When we do the MIGO-GR against a normal purchase order, we debit the inventory and credit the GR/IR clearing account. I would like to know whether we can post the same entry while doing the MIGO-GR against an account assigned purchase order.
If there is any work around please let me know.
    appreciate any inputs on this.

    Hi Kishore Kumar
When you have an account assigned PO, the GR entry cannot be
    Inventory A/C Dr and GR/IR A/c Cr
It can be either debit to Consumption Account or any exps A\c and credit

  • Family sharing: Purchase requests are not being sent to Organizer

My son's requests for purchases are not notifying me, the organizer, and he cannot download/purchase any apps. It says the request was sent but there is no pop-up message for me to review the purchase request. I've checked, my iTunes account, my email on all my devices but I never receive any of his requests to purchase. Please help.

How are you uploading the file via network?
If you are troubleshooting the network bandwidth? or the threads where one process takes precedent over the other you will have to troubleshoot the QoS of the network you see this on.
To give a better visual please use Firebug or the Web Developer tool called Network to analyze the requests. The "XMLHttpRequest" will give better clues for Ajax. Reference [http://ajaxian.com/archives/ajax-debugging-with-firebug]
There may be a about:config option that allows mutithreading or max persistent connections per server you can check.

  • Purchase Request (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) days taken

    Expert,
We are using SAP 9.0 PL4
We need Query for PR to PO days taken
    Example
I make Purchase Request on 05/09/14 than make Purchase Quotation on 07/09/14 finally made Purchase Order on 10/09/14 with line item 5

    Please advise
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Mukesh,
Try this query. It connects the 3 tables that you need. You need to add the fields that you want to see on the report.
    SELECT T0.[DocNum], T1.LineNum, T0.[DocDate], T1.[ItemCode], T1.[Dscription], T1.WhsCode, T1.[Quantity], T3.CardCode, T3.Cardname, T2.BaseType , T2.[BaseRef] , T2.[BaseLine],  T2.DocENtry , T2.[Quantity] , T4.DocEntry, T5.DocNum, T4.Quantity, t4.price, t4.basetype
    FROM OPRQ T0  INNER JOIN PRQ1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
    left outer join PQT1 T2 on T1.DocENtry = T2.BaseEntry and T1.LineNum = T2.BaseLine and T2.BaseType = '1470000113'
    left outer join OPQT T3 on T3.DocEntry = T2.DocEntry

  • GTS 7.2 - Error with account assigned purchase order without material

    All,
I am creating an account assigned purchase order without any material master in the feeder system (ECC 5.0) and it a standard SAP functionality.
I am getting the following GTS related pop up message and documents are posted to technically incomplete documents in GTS 7.2.
"Legal Control: Custs Prod. Mast. Required
    Material                                                  "
Any ideas on how get rid of this error message
Edited by: James Puzon on Oct 3, 2008 9:32 PM

    James,
Even though material numbers are not mandatory on POs in the feeder system (ie in ECC) they ARE mandatory in SAP-GTS.
This means that every line item (PO, SO, delivery) that is sent to GTS for compliance screening or Customs processing MUST have a material number in the feeder system.  You have a couple of options to resolve this:
    1. Always use a material number on all transactions that you enter in your feeder system if they are exports or imports (ie relevant for GTS). You can create service materials or "dummy" materials in ECC for items such as user manuals, warranties or installation services that are part of a particular shipment.
    2. You can add logic in the interface for GTS to always transfer a particular material number to GTS if the material number is blank on the line item of the feeder system document.  Ideally you would want to link this custom logic to a custom maintenance table in ECC so that you can easily change the material number that is sent to GTS without having to change the code.
    3. Override the error message by changing the message type to a warning or informational message (not recommended because this would require a small code modification because I don't think the message type is configurable for this error).  Even if you did make this code change you would likely run into more issues in GTS because license determination and other GTS services need a material number to function properly.
    Hope this helps.

  • Acct determination for Account-assigned purchase order with keys not define

    Hi,
I'm trying to post an IDOC of type BBPIV through XI to an R/3 system.
The posted idoc in R/3 is in status 51 (Application document not posted) with the error message "Acct determination for Account-assigned purchase order with keys not defined in chart of acts WP2P"
As per my understanding this is something related to FI.
Long text of the error is "The system cannot generate an automatic posting because there is no account determination defined for Account-assigned purchase order with keys   in chart of accounts WP2P.
Correct the account determination for Account-assigned purchase order"
Please help me how to solve this.
    Regards,
    Rashmi

    Hiya,
This looks like its a MM posting / transaction.
You need to go to OBYC and maintain the account assignment. If you provide the business scenario (GR into Stock, Subcontracting, etc.) for the process, I may be able to help.
VKOA is for SD account assignment and I don't believe you can use that here.
    Cheers.

  • Significance of account assigned purchase order

    Dear Gurus,
I would like to know the significance of account assigned purchase order in detail. Also kindly explain the difference between account assigned po and standard po.Thank you.

    Hi,
Normally  we will use account assigned PO's for Procuring Non-stock & Non-valuated materials.
For ex: consumable materials such as stationary items, spares etc.. we wont take into stock rather we will directly issue to the cost centers since these are low value items.
There are different kind of account assignments such as Consumables (K-Cost Center), Assets - A, Order - F(internal Order) etc.
By using above account assignments value of the materials will be directly posted to the respective G/L in the account assignment.
Whereas Standard PO's are one created for materials which we will take into stock & valuation will be done @ plant level
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Account-assigned purchase order KBS is not activated

    Hi Friends,
please expalin me maintain FI configuration; automatic postings procedures Account-assigned purchase order KBS transction  account detemination is not activated.
    Thanks
    E.vasu

    Hi,
KBS  only define posting key (to which account the postings  to happaen). In  any account assign purchase order,  system prompted to enter GL account (and CO object), which  defined the account posting. Ex: Check in OMJJ - For mvt type 101 - update control - GR for acct. assgt. (consumption indicator V with quantity and value updation) - system defines postings as KBS and WRX, KBS refers to the consumption GL account.
KBS key doesnt require any additional settings in OBYC. It only looks for account specification in PO (say K /C/P) and GL account and can be assigned in OKB9 T.code.When  we do GR for  PO with account assign {KBS (consumption)}, it will debit the given GL account (assigned in OKB9 t.code) and credit GR/IR account (which define in OBYC).
