Assigned products missing in Opportunities

Hi,
very often we have the problem, that products which were assigned within an opportunity on a WGS-Client are missing in the transaction afterwards on WTS-Clients.
In the CRM Online the assignment is still present. On the WTS-Clients we only have the estimated total value but no products.
We assume that the there happens something in the synchronization which deletes the products on the clients. What could this be and why do we have still the products in the CRM Online.

I contacted support, and they answered that each PRU should include all products from previous PRUs, so having the latest PRU should be all that is required. Support recommended that I run the ZAM software identification wizard (2973340: ZAM Software ID Wizard). I'll do that, but it's rather strange if it turns out that LibreOffice Novell Edition is not included in the PRUs and Novell waits for some customer to upload necessary identification info to them.

    I want to know (standard way) if I can to assign  products in locations in mass,
    because this products don't have MRP views in these locations in R3.
    These locations only are created in APO.

    Do you mean create products in locations?   Not assign?
    You will need to create these products for each location.  It is fast and easy to do manually, or you can use the APOLOADER to do this.
    Otherwise, you will have to write a simple ABAP program.
    What is purpose of having these locations in APO but not R/3?

    we have the requirement to assign products to activities in 1:m relationship.
    Is it possible in SAP CRM to attach/assign products to activities or vice versa?
    In SAP CRM standard or in the documentation i could not find references.

  • Assignment of leads and opportunities by product

    Hello everyone,
    I need to assign leads and opportunities by product to selected personnel, is there anyway to detect more than 1 product in the lead or opportunity? This is because a lead and opportunity may have several products bundled together and it would be very repetitive for the sales person to create one lead\opportunity for each product they sell to the same customer.
    Any ideas on how to accomplish this? I was initially thinking of using Books, but it allows for only field comparisons of single values and not multi-picklists. So in the end the problem still comes back to having more than 1 product in a lead\opportunity.

    Yes, the initial thought here is to use a multi-picklist; but unfortunately I don't think the assignment manager supports multi-picklists.
    And yes, I would like to make it accessible to multiple people, not only one.
    Basically, the process goes something like the following:-
    1) Marketing obtains lead and enters into the system
    2) Lead is channeled to a product manager
    3) Product manager reassigns the lead to a salesperson
    4) Salesperson converts the lead into an an opportunity - Product Manager should be able to view this opportunity
    My question here is would the product manager still gain access to the lead once it is reassigned (salesperson is not reporting to the product manager in anyway)? And how can the product manager be able to view all opportunities which have the product he\she is in charge of?
    My initial thought here is that we have to fall back on using Books?

  • Assign Production Order To Asset

    Please Advice
    I have a scenario where in I need to asssign the Producten Order Created for material to Asset for accounting point of view in the sense that all the expenses done for that Production order is transfered to that particular assigned asset.
    We have the option of assigning the Asset to the Purcahse Order in case we procure the same material. So it is possible in the case if the same material is produced inhouse.

    Tell me few things,
    1) Are you producing this material in house or some time purchase from out side also?
    Ans 1: Yes the die is produced inhouse or sometimes we procure it from outside.
    2)whether you want existing produce die to available in inventory or you want to have it as Asset only?
    Ans 2:  See they want the dies to be available for the inventory. But either they can have inventory for that or can define as asset so still the decision is pending.And I have checked in case of asset that when you create a Pur.Order of asset and do migo and than miro than the quantity of asset is updated along with its cost. I think they will go for asset as they can post the depriciation value for that.
    3) Are you talking about Die Amortization cost?
    Ans 3 : No sir amortization is not involved.  Actually what happens is that when I produce the die inhouse i receive the quantity produced and the value for the die is updated in the material G/L account. Now when i go like this i cannot do the depriciation. So even here in case of inhouse produced die  I have to create an asset for that , but the probem is that they  want system to propose the  value of that asset i.e. inhouse produced cost which includes (the raw material cost + Activity cost + Overheads) , every time they produce it inhouse. so they want this cost to be transfered to the asset they create.
    Hope sir I am able to answer you questions, but still in case any further clearance is requiered , please do write in.

  • "Current assignment" field missing in Handling Unit status tab

    Our scenario is as below:
    1. STO created and outbound deliveries generated
    2. Deliveries are assigned to shipment
    3. Packing is done using RF transaction
    In the normal scenario, the HU status tab would show the outbound delivery number in the current assignment tab. But for some Handling Units, the current assignment field shows blank. Also, the contents tab shows only the delivery line item number and not the delivery number. We have also noticed that the problem delivery line items have been packed in 2 different Handling Units, each containing the full delivery line item quantity. (not sure how this is possible). One of the HU is displayed correctly but the other one has the missing delivery number issue.
    Has anyone encountered such a scenario? How is the system allowing to pack the same delivery item quantity in 2 different Handling Units? Any suggestions in this regard would be very helpful.

    OVHU2.(Maintain Packing Transaction Profile in IMG).
    my doubt is where we are assigning this Transaction Profile in Handling Units.

    I am using WLCS 3.5 and WLS 6.0 I am unable to assign more than 15 products to
    a category trough the tools interface.
    What happens is I go into the category area, search for the product I want, push
    it across to the list of items currently assigned to that category. This works
    fine, unfortunately when I click save, it doesn't save the product in that category.
    It also doesn't show any errors in the log file. We have plus minus 100 items
    to add and the client only wants to use the tools.
    Please, please can someone help?

  • Account assignment tab missing

    Hi All,
    We have created a project in PS.
    While generating Purchase Requisition thru MRP in MD51, account assignment category (Q) is coming, but the account assignment tab is missing in the purchase requisition.
    But when we are generating PR thru CJ20N with prelimnary requirement as a procurement indicator then the WBS is getting fetched in Account assignment tab.

  • Default Account Assignment- product hierarchy

    We have a requirement when any transaction posting to a write off G/L account to automatically include Product Hierarchy.  I have used OKB9 before for C/C and P/C but not Product Hierarchy.  Is this possible, if so, how?

    First make sure that the account is set to post to COPA.  Make an entry in OKB9 for this account and click the Profitability segment indicator.  Also, assign the account to a PA transfer structure (KEI2) to map the account to a COPA value field.
    As far as assigning the product hierarchy to COPA characteristics, you have several options depending on whether you want the whole hierarchy assigned to one characteristic or if you want to split each level into seperate characteristics.  Also, the hierarchy can be maintained in the material master in the general view (MARA) or the sales org view (MVKE),  Let's assume you want to assign the whole hierarchy into a single field using the general data view assignment.  To do this just create a table lookup step in KEDR.  Select table MARA as the source.  Field MATNR will automatically be match to your COPA product field (ARTNR).  In the assignment section select field PRDHA from table MARA and enter the COPA characteristic field you want to store this value in.  If you haven't yet assigned the product hierarchy characteristic to your operating concern you will need to do that first.

  • Assign Production id's to a Position

    I have created a org unit & position for partner profile assignment.
    I have assigned userid's to position and transported, working fine in Quality.
    The issue here is, the production userid's are not available in DEV, to assign to a position and transport to PRD.
    HR is not implemented in system.
    Pls let me know how to handle this case?

    in this (common) case you have to create the users (e.g. with no authorization profiles given) that you need also in the dev. system. I don't know of any workaround here.

    Good morning all
    I am integrating SCCM with WSUS, and I have a few questions regarding products.  I've noticed when running through the "Add site system roles wizard" in SCCM 2012 console that when I go to "Products" it does NOT list a few major
    products, such as office 2013, sql server 2013, exchange 2013, etc. 
    Am I missing something? I'm sure I am...what do I need to do? 
    Also, if there are any other gotchas or best practices you all can point me in the right direction as far as managing SCCM / WSUS together i'd be greatly appreciated.

    Do not use WSUS Console to manage the updates. All you things you can finish is in the SCCM Console. Refer to the link posted by Jason.

  • Additional Assignment - Product in BCS

    Hi All,
    Need any suggestion on the following issue..
    I need to assign the product (ARTNR) from COPA to BCS additional characteristic.
    If possible, I also need to take in the product hierarchy to BCS.
    Anyone know how to do this? What are the steps to be done with the integration area with FI.
    Note that I'm in ECC5, BW 3.5 and BCS 4.0. I'm using FAGLFLEXT as the source special ledger table.
    Any opinion/suggestion will be highly appreciated.

    What is the nature of accounts, which gets posted to at the time of delivery? In your process, do your postings look like this:
    Scenario 1
    At PGI
    FG In Transit Dr
         To Stock FG
    AT Billing
    Customer A/c Dr
    COGS Dr
            To Revenue
            To FG In Transit
    Scenario 2
    At PGI
    COGS DR
           To Stock
    So check if the P&L Account for COGS is also created as a Cost Element or not. Secondly, check the field status for the GL Account and if these fields are at least optional or not. If you use Scenario 1 for your accounting, than FG In Transit would be a B/S Account rather than a P&L Account and you should not have Cost Objects getting populated for such a nature of account.
