AT&T service has really been poor for the past month (50+ houses impacted)

I live in rural Colorado west of Fort Collins. About a month ago our AT&T service went from great to horrible. Incoming and outgoing calls fail. incoming and outgoing texts fail, are delayed by hours/days or never arrive, sometimes you can't listen to voice messages, voice message show up and your phone never rang. This negative change is impacting over 50 families in our small area. Several of us have called AT&T and have not received the same responses. Something significanty changed recently to cause such a terrible change in the wireless service (hardware or software). People who work from home can no longer rely on AT&T wireless, emergency calling is compromised, just a mess.
How can we get it on AT&Ts radar at a higher level?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes - email & text work fine but when I use something like Google Images or search a blog with imbedded photos I get the empty white boxes with question marks. Over the past month, when Firefox indicates it has an update for me, and to download it, all I get is "connecting" and nothing happens. We live in 96822. This is for a Mac.

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

My iMessage stopped working about a week and a half ago (today is 4/26/13), even when connected to my home WiFi. My fiance is having the same problem with his iMessage. Both of our iMessage and FaceTime accounts are "active" according to our iPhone settings. Friends who live across the country (we're in the USA) have asked us why we've stopped using iMessage. You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

Microsoft Word Has Not Been Installed for the Current User

Hi, everybody
I'm just starting our attempt to put together ZfD app packages for MS Office 2007. I've tried 2 different route with poor results for each. I'm looking for guidance and suggestions and, hey really, the simple final solution. :)
Objectives: Each app package will install locally one of the Office apps (e.g., Word) if it is not installed and then launch it, otherwise it will launch it. It gets installed locally to the C: drive using all the MS default choices, but runs from the desktop ZEN/NAL shortcut. All desktops are XP, not Vista or W7.
Routes tried and failed...
1) Simple app, uses distribution and run scripts to figure out if already installed, then installs using network shared drive and config.xml file for just the one app. The result ought to work -- no particular error in the package, those are fixed -- but what happens is something different each time with the MS setup.exe, and it never does complete without its own error (various and different each time). So, this appears to be completely unreliable because launching MS's setup.exe from a simple app is unpredictable and incomplete.
2) Snapshot of a successful setup.exe and config.xml install. This ALMOST works... well it does in fact work but the snapshotted app gives an error once it finishes launching -- "Microsoft Word Has Not Been Installed for the Current User" -- and exits. From the research I've done on this message, the MS program sees the "wrong" Windows profile on the destination environment, compared to that in the snapshot, and figures it's now been installed from a bootleg copy of Office 2007.
At this stage all I can think of is expletives. We've paid for everything, I've followed all the usual and customary steps, played by the rules, been polite (and also used the necessary computer swear words), and now I just want to insult everyone in Microsoft's marketing department for ruining everyone's life yet again. Can't we just do this, is it too much to ask!?!
Please help me. What is really going to work for distributing and maintaining Office 2007 apps using our ZfD environment? ALL USEFUL SUGGESTIONS WELCOME. Thank you. Bless you.

Novell did not design Microsoft's Office Install.
I have nothing against snapshots, but it does not work great with the Office
installs, which you yourself know since you are posting here with problems
based on that.
And your other method you are trying with the break out is not working well.
We also know that from experience.
We can tell you that the way most people install it and the way most people
succeed doing it, is by doing it the way recommended and designed by
Microsoft.
ZEN does that just fine.

Have you tried to manually update the individual programs?

MDW Disk Usage for Database Report Error - A data source has not been supplied for the data source DS_TraceEvents

On the MDW Disk Usage Collection Set report, I get the following error when I click on a database hyperlink.
A data source has not been supplied for the data source DS_TraceEvents
SQL profiler shows the following SQL statements are executed (I've replaced the database name with databaseX)
1. exec sp_executesql N'SELECT
dtb.name AS [Name]
FROM
master.sys.databases AS dtb
WHERE
(dtb.name=@_msparam_0)',N'@_msparam_0 nvarchar(4000)',@_msparam_0=N'databaseX'
this returns zero rows as databaseX does not exist on my MDW central server, but is a database on a target server (i.e. one that is being monitored and uploaded into the MDW central server).
2. USE [datatbaseX]
this produces the following error:
Msg 911, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Database 'databaseX' does not exist. Make sure that the name is entered correctly.
why is the report looking for the database on my server?

Hi Jag,
Based on my test, while this database is offline, we will encounter this issue. This is because that while we click the certain database in “Disk Usage Collection
Set” report, it will query some information with that certain database. If this database is offline, we will not access this database to acquire related information and generates this error.
Therefore I recommend that you check the status of this database by using this system view:
sys.databases. If it is not online, please execute
the following statements in a new window to make this database to be online:
USE master
GO
ALTER DATABASE <database name> SET ONLINE
GO

It should not take more than 4 hr. Is there any indication it is making process? i.e. When you click on it to play do you get a message like "Will be avialable in 2hr 34 min"? Is that time changing? I would cancel the download. Restart ATV and then retry. If it goes more than 4hr then there is an issue.
As another option you can always download the movie to your computer and use the iTuens menus to play it from your computer under the Computers icon.

Well, if it would be so "by design" maybe a message should popup informing the customer that the Data Audit cannot be enabled on Apshell for some reason (?). This would be a proper way. But in this case you receive an error page where it's quite impossible to understand which is the problem.
I remember that there is also an internal message for this and it was recognized as a bug, but with a low priority.

Wifi "unable to connect" for the past month

I have not been able to connect to my home wifi for the past month. It keeps popping up saying that it is unable to connect. sometimes it will work, but only for 2 minutes tops. My roommate uses the same internet connection and she said that she has not had a problem with it. I have tried rebooting it, turning it on airplane mode then resetting network settings and rebooting it, forgetting the network, and even resetting my entire phone. nothing will work. but my phone connects to the wifi at work and works perfectly fine. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

The router in 99.99% of the time may be fine and see and connect to the devices it detects. However after certain updates to phones it has been said that the phone will not connect to the router.
There was a list of known routers on this forum that just did not work. The so!ution was to either reset the broadband modem, wireless router and turn off the phone.
Then if it connects your problem is solved. If it doesn't your next step is to see if there are firmware updates for the modem and the router. (Mainly routers) if it still does not connect a new router not on the non working list should be purchased. Yes its another expense but if you want the device to connect that is your option.
Another trick you can use is to change the security from WEP to WPA, PSK or WPA 2 and change the password to the router.
Some people stated a password of at least 9 figures / digits worked great.
If you placed the phone on its own IP address that also has been known to work.
However its best to talk to tech support at the router maker to assist.

One of our users forgot to do the cost estimate for the month of May, that's why when he run CK40N (June 1), the prices went to future price, (i think because our MM is still May). I have some few questions and hoping for your positive feedback.
1.) If we open the June period, will the future price became present price? or we need to run again CK40N?
2.) Can we run CK40N for the past month of May? Reason is, we would like to capture the prices of Material last May.

CK40N Meant for creatting cost estimates for the product and estimation is some wht which you create for future or current period. It is not possible to run ck40n for the past period.
Now since you said that period june is not opened in MM. you can not release the price i.e.ck40n for june. check the details fo costing dates you have put in the dates parameters in ck40n. If you have run ck40n for june then after marking the price system will set the price as a future price and same prices become the current price once you release the price. So if you r executing ck40n for june and june is not opened , you can not release the price. First u open the period june then execute the release functionality future price would automatically become the current price for JUNE.
