Hi, I just updated to Yosemite, I am using SketchUp Pro and got a scary pop up from "Atos" saying : atos needs to take control of another process for
debugging to continue. Type your password to allow this". What do I need to do. I need to use Sketchup. I clicked continue and Sketchup crashed.
I thought It was a virus.
Please someone tell me what do I need to do? to fix? Thank you

It's a known issue with that application. Only Google can do anything about it.

Help needed to take control back from sqlplus for expired password

I am executing the following line for Oracle 11g in Windows from my application
sqlplus -L "aaaa"/"aaaa" @connectonly.sql >>"D:\tempDBlogs\connectonly.log"
connectonly.sql file contains the following code:
whenever sqlerror exit 1
whenever oserror exit 2
exit
This piece of code executes fine for both correct & incorrect userid & password and gives proper messages. Now the problem is when password of the user in DB gets expired. The controls waits for user input. But my problem is I am runinng this code from an application which waits for sqlplus.exe to end, as it can't proceed without validation. But sqlplus runs as background process and the command prompt never comes to user. Moreover I dont want to give the user the option to change DB password from my application front end.
So I need to find a way so that if password is expired sqlplus will return the control and will not wait for user input. Or atleast my application gets to know that the password is expired so that it can kill sqlplus process.
Can somebody help me in this.

interesting question. I tried something on unix and this seems to work. I simply piped a line through this which leads to an error with the expire-prompt and doesnt do any harm when there is no such prompt:

Password unchangedSomething similar should be possible on windows. Of course, the real solution would be flag for sqlplus that makes it absolutely non-interactive.

Need help startng websphere server in eclipse for debugging porpose

I am using Eclipse Sdk Version: 3.1.2
IBM websphere 6.0
JDK 1.4
I set debug value to "true" in my application.xml
I have a .ear file of my application deployed on the websphere appserver. Currently I can test my application in nobebug mode.
values of environment variables are -
JAVA_HOME - C:\DEV\IBMJDK142; C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03
PATH - C:\DEV\IBMJDK142\bin; C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\Java\lib;C:\DEV\IBMJDK142\bin;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;
I want to test the application in debug mode.
I am using default server on websphere, which is server1.
In Admin-console of webshere I went to
server-->Application server-->choose server1-->Debugging Service ---->checked the checkbox "Enable service at server startup"
Here value of my JVM debug port is 7777.
next In Eclipse env I chose Run---->Debug....--->Remote Java Application ----> created a new application with the name of my application and set the connection properties to -
Host - localhost
port-7777
Eclipse----> Windows----->Preferences---->Server----->Installed Runtime---->Add---->selected values such as -
JRE - default JRE(JDK 1.4)
IBM Websphere Installation Directory - C:/DEV/WebSphere/AppServer
saved it.
Now in debug perspective, I created a new server with selection/values such as -
IBM--->IBM Websphere v6---->
port - 9081
server profile directory - C:/DEV/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/default
cell - GCWSNTRANode01Cell
node - GCWSNTRANode01
server - server1
Next---->Added the project to configured project ----->FINISH
Closed Eclipse to save env settings.
Started the default server (server1)
opened eclipse - desired project--->debug perspective ---->choose server--->Right Click----Start/Debug

Process for Debugging BW Start Routines

I need a detailed process for how to debug the ABAP code of a start routine, particuarly when one ODS is being loaded into another. I know that there is a way to do this with the ABAP debugger but cannot figure it out.
Are there any documents out there that can assist me? I did a search, but all of the examples were too specific to be useful for just general debugging.

Hi,
It is not possible to debug in start routine through conventional way upto 3.5 version.
You need to put an endless loop in the start routine.
The program will keep running in the endless loop.
It can achieved by the following code.
data: true,
        false.
true = 'X'.
do.
    if true = false.
      exit.
    endif.
enddo.
And in transaction SM50, the endless loop program will visible.
select the program by clicking the check box on the left hand side,
then on the menu,
Program/Mode -> Program -> Debugging.

I strongly suggest taking a look at Direct Access. Most people looking at IBCM end up going with Direct Access since it requires fewer steps/less infrastructure and yet provides far more value.

Set up process for iphone on continuous loop

I have an iPhone 4 and just updated to the latest operating software.
When I plug my iPhone in it goes through the set up screen asking me to carry out the series of steps - select language country etc and then I get to the "Set up Iphone" with options to:
- Set up as new iphone
- Restore from ICLoud back up
- Restore from Itunes back up
I select the third option and then when connected to itunes select to "Restore backup". The process kicks off and ofr an instant I see all the apps on the screen I have before switching to a "Restore in Progress" screen. This continues until complete and then reboots at which time it goes to the initial set up screen again and then it starts all over again. It is getting incredibly frustrating.
Is there anything that I am doing wrong in the set up? Am I selecting the correct option?
Any help would be appreciated!

Try setting it up as a new phone and see if it completes the setup process.
If it does not, there is very likely a hardware issue with your phone and you need to bring it to an Apple store for evaluation.

Yosemite: What the *** is Atos and why does it want to take control?

"Atos wants to take control.." dialogue box comes up on every boot-up. New phenomenon since upgrading to Yosemite. Nothing can be done until I fulfill this request by putting in my AppleID password.
-What is Atos?
-Why is this happening?
-Is this an Apple thing or is there a ghost in the machine?
-Why didn't Apple do a compatibility test for user/s before allowing the upgrade?
-How do I get rid of this ridiculous hassle?
Would be nice to have an official Apple response. Mostly I've seen other folks who want me to send diagnostics, which sounds sketchy.
PS: I don't tacitly use Bento, never heard of it until I had this problem and looked over the forums - to no avail, don't use Filemaker. I do have Office 2011 installed.

It's likely that one of your login items is causing the problem. Select the Login Items tab in the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences. Delete any items that you don't recognize. If you're not sure which ones to delete, double-click each to test it.

3. You want to use a Virtual Network Computing (VNC) solution, such as those listed in this VersionTracker search.
Technically, all Macs ship with the client for Apple Remote Desktop (ARD), but you'd have to install the server version of ARD ($$$) on your Mac to control the remote Mac.
As Kappy suggested, when looking for new applications, I recommend searching MacUpdate or Version Tracker. The user-submitted reviews accompanying the listings can be helpful in sorting the wheat from the chaff.

We use a VPN Concentrator and one of our customer need to take control of the client-desktop that connected by VPN.

Upsolutely you can , we do it all the time with our Concentrator 3005, if we need to connect to an already connected pptp client to assist we rdp to their machine using that same tunnel. Now you need to keep in mind that in order to RDP to the clients machine while that tunnel is up between the concentrator and the user's machine you will need to use the same users login credentials whatever they use at their end in order to keep the tunnel up without interruption.
I have not tried netsupport and do not know how Netsupport works but I would assume it should work as the netsuport traffic is sent through the tunnel.

Manager Process for Multiple DB's

Hi Experts,
I am trying to understand goldengate for my setup in LAB.
Currently I have the below setup and need some clarification(s).
Source & Target - 2 node RAC(11.2.0.3); RHEL 6
GG Version : 12.1.2.0
On Source i have 3 databases and of them 2 targets are corresponded to same source but the third target is different
so do we need to have same manager , that will take care of othere process for EACH db or we need to have seperate MGR for each DB.
If i understood clearly having a dedicate mgr process for EACH DB will be much better making more sense. ( correct me if i am wrong) but now comes the question with single binary setup how can we maintain multiple manager process
If only 1 mgr is allowed how do we know which process is responsible for which database.
Appreciate your thoughts. ( sorry if i was wrong . . . just in learner mode)

Hi,
You can have a single manager configured with multiple extract/replicat processes which connects to its respective databases through sql net connection.
Manager doesnot need to connect to any of the databases except for doing the maintenance tasks at the os level to delete the trail files, managing the processes to start automatically when it is started, etc.

Time Machine creates a back up of the entire Hard Drive, with the exception of Boot Camp or exceptions you have created. So in other words after you create the profile run Time Machine, and a backup of the other user profile will be added to your Time Machine backups.
