ATP Check during reservation - how to include order reservation?

When creating reservation for 201 (issue to cost center), I would like the system to check if there's enough stock.
And if there's any reservation (manual or auto created by order), these quantity should not be considered as avaliable stock.
So I set in OPJJ as following:
Include safty stock
Include quality insp. stock
Check without RLT
Include reservations
Include depend reservations: X (Include all reservations)
Other check boxes remains blank and relevant IMGs are all set (error message for MVT201, assign checking rule to checking group, assign checking group to material master, assign checking rule to MB21)
But when I go testing, the ATP Check didn't consider unreleased oder reservations!
According to following link, "all" reservations from production order(created/released) should be considered!!
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPLO/Availabilitycheckingin+SAP
Can someone please help me to solve this issue?
Where did I do wrong?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Movment allowed indicator is not enabled, which means the produciton order is not released.
It should be considered after I set 'X' in "Include depend reservations".
According to the documentation:
Include dependent reservation - Dependent reservation is the requirement from a production order/process order/sub contract PO, created automatically during order creation, hence it is a confirmed issue. If you activate this check box, system will consider all the dependent reservations which are already confirmed before giving you the ATP qty. Some more functionality given here is which reservation is to be checked    Do not check i.e. system will not consider this as requirement while confirming the ATP qty
Do not check - donot take this requirement.
X Include all reservations - include all the reservation from production order(created/released)A Only include withdraw able reservations - Include only reservation from a production order that is released.
Or I understood wronly?

  • ATP check for delivery in ECC & Sales order ATP check in APO

    Hi All,
Can we do an ATP check for delivery in ECC , but for the same set of Materials- Plant combination , the ATP check when a SO is created should happen in APO .
We do not want to remove the Business event 'B'  which is meant for delivery in  APO . For some materials we need APO ATP check to happen for delivery   & for some it should be in ECC  & for SO  the ATP check should happen in APO .
Even if we do not have check instructions pertaining to Business event 'B' & a particular check mode (for the materials where the ATP check for delivery should happen in ECC & SO check to happen in APO)  , when we are doing an ATP check for delivery , it is still pointing to APO ATP check rather than ECC check .
Any pointers for this is highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Surendra

    Hi Surendra,
For SO, business event is A and for delivery it's B. When integrated with ECC, the check rule in ECC points as biz event in APO.
You can control ATP check by customized settings for check rule in ECC.
Also, by setting requirement class and requirement type in ECC, you control check mode in APO. So, even if you dont define for check mode in APO, the system might refer from ECC for the ATP check settings. Look into your ECC customization for how requirement class is derived and settings for requirement type. (based on MRP type, strategy grp and Item cat).
I'm not sure how you can control ATP to happen for some sales orders/deleveries in ECC and for some in APO, since check mode is mentioned in material master.
However, there are ATP BADIs (business add-ins) available in both ECC and APO, whch can serve your purpose.

  • ATP check partial Quantity allocation to Sales Orders

    Hi,
Our client has three different sales order types for processing sales differently for the same materials.
While doing ATP check they have a order of priority i.e ZOR1 -> ZOR2 -> ZOR3 with ZOR1 highest priority.
For sales order type ZOR2 currently they donot have partial quantity allocation to sales orders.i.e if two orders, Order 1 created with 100 Qty and other Order 2 with 50 Qty and if ATP is 50 Qty.
System is allocating material to Order 2 which has order quantity 50 ( Which equals ATP Qty )
Now the client requirement is to configure system such that it does partial allocation to Order 1 ( order qty 100, where as ATP Qty is 50 ) i.e system should allocate even partial quantity to sales orders, that too in FIFO ( system should allocate ATP qty to order created first then next and so on )
Please let me know what changes i need to do to achieve the above functionality in SAP system.
    Thanks
    Venkata Rama Reddy.K

    Dear Venkat,
Please check the customer master for the customer which you have maintained in the 1st order. If the customer allows partial delivery, them the system will allocate the stock to the order which is created at first.
At the time of ATP check(In Availability Screen), you do need to choose, One-time or System proposal, which will allocate the stocks partially to the 1st order as you don't have enough stock.
Check out the settings in the customer master (for the customer in the 1st sale order) under Shipping Tab.
    Partial delivery per item  D/A/B
    Max. partial deliveries    >0
(And more thing, you mentioned that sales document type is having priority. As of I know - there won't be any setting which will set particular sales document type with high priority. If you are really doing that kind of setting - update the same in this forum - it may help others..)
    Hope it may help you.
(Venkat: Has your issue solved? Kindly update in the forum - if your question is answered)
    Thanks,

  • Availability check during process order creation

    Hi all,
can anyone tell me significance of availability check during creation /change of process order?? ( in terms of business)
    how is the usual processs?

    Hi,
Availability check for a material is carried out only if the material is
    1. A stock item
    2. Not a phantom item
    3. Not a bulk material.
    This can be carried out
    1. during order creation
    2. during order release
    3. when a created order is saved
Availability check can be triggered either manually or automatically.
For this we need to define in checking control(opjk)
First define a checking group(ovz2) and checking rule and this
must be assigned to checking scope.(opjj)
In the checking scope(opjj) we should define
    1. which Mrp elements are to be considered during check
    2. which inventory categories are to be taken into account
    3. whether Replinishment lead time is to be taken into account or not
    4. whether check is also to be carried at storage location level.
This checking rule must be linked to checking control(opjk)in which you can say
1.No availability check for the material
2.Availability check when saving the order
3.What type of check is to be carried
whether ATP CHECK or Check against PIR quantities
    4. Whether order should be released or not if there is
    any missing parts.
The checking group is assigned to material master MRP3 view. Please check whether checking gorup is assigned to all the components in the BOM.

  • ATP check active when creating sales order - want to deactivate

    Hello experts,
at the time we created a sales order, the checking group for availability check in the master data of an article was "02" (Individual requirements). However, this was a master data error, as the correct setting for this article is "KP" (No check). We have changed this setting in the article master, but now we have a problem with the delivery, as we can not confirm the required quantity in the desired date. The ATP check says we have no availability (based on the wrong master data existing during the creation of the order), but we need to override this check.
Is ther any way of "overriding" the ATP check of the article in our sales order, thus taking into account the "KP" (no check) setting?
Thank you very much in advance.
    Kind regards.
    Marcos

Have you actually created the delivery yet? If not, you can use the following path to deactivate the ATP check during delivery:
    > SPRO
      > Logistics Execution
        > Availability Check & Transfer of Requirements
          > Availability Check
            > Determine procedure for Each Delivery Item Category
Perhaps turning of the ATP check temporarily shall help overcome the issue.

  • ATP check according to batch reservations?

    Hi,
I would like to know whether it's possible to check availability including the reservations - meaning the reservations created for a specific batch. For instance I am going to destruct a specific amount of a specific batch, say 1000 of batch X, for which I create a reservation with a specific movement type, and I am going to destruct this amount later. I can see this amount in the reserved stock but when I create the delivery I have those 1000 units of batch X assigned to the delivery item. Is there any way the reserved stock can actually be blocked for other usage ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
I have already selected "include reservations" checkbox. When it didn't work I selected "check dependent reservations" as 'X' - Include all reservations. It still doesn't work, even though I create a reservation for the whole stock for a specific date, I can create a delivery with the exact batch. Is there any other way or is there maybe something I'm missing. Is there something about movement type customizing that defines how the movement will react to the stock? Because at the moment I can create reservations for the same date more than once; for twice even three times more than Unrestricted stock. For instance if I have 5000 units of stock, I can create first reservation for today with 5000 units, then another reservation for today with 5000 units again. Is it normal to be able to create reservation for the same batch/amount/date more than once?

  • Sales Order ATP Check in SAP B1

Is there a way to disable the ATP Check upon saving of a Sales Order using the DI API or any other built-in configuration settings?

    SC,
Is the question that you have related to the SAP Business One integration for SAP NetWeaver (B1i) or is your question with respect to the Business One SDK?  I ask as I am not sure what "ATP" stands for.  If you question is with respect to the SAP Business One SDK, you will want to post yor question in the "SAP Business One SDK Discussion Forum" id related to the SDK.

  • ATP Check in CRM Order

    Hi all
I am trying to explore the ATP functionality on CRM orders. Per the help we can either trigger it with SAP APO or SAP ECC but I am not sure what is meant by using SAP ECC.
Is the funcitonality to call SAP ECC even before CRM order save and then tell us ATP check results? Or does it mean that once CRM order is saved and replicated to ECC then the ATP will be carried out? I am pretty sure its the former but just want to confirm with CRM gurus.
    Thanks
    Jai

    Hi Jai,
If you use ECC for ATP check its works fine for stock items. You dont have to save the order and reopen to get the delivery dates.
If the items are Make-to-order, ATP will not work in CRM untill you save the order and reopen. This is because,In ECC, there is a direct linkage between the sales order and the production order in the make-to-order scenario. The confirmed delivery date is based on the scheduling of the production order. The ATP check from CRM makes an RFC-call to ECC in order to perform the ATP check there. Since the sales order does not yet exist in ECC, there is no production order scheduled either. Thus the ATP check can not confirm any dates. The system issues an error message which informs the user that the ATP check could not be carried out The limitations are explained in the note 931796.

  • ATP check and Check against preliminary planning for prod order

    Hi
For same material, order type and plant for some orders ATP check is happening and for some orders Check against preliminary planning is happening.I want to know why its happening.
    Regards,
    PradeepM.

    Pradeep,
What types of orders?  Do you mean SD orders?
ATP check is defaulted 'on' or 'not on' by the MRP Strategy(OPPS, look for "availability check").  MRP strategy is in turn determined by the MRP strategy group in the plant-level material master.  Assuming, then, that your MRP strategy group contains only one MRP strategy (this is common), then the default check will be set by MRP strategy group.
ATP check can subsequently be turned on/off other ways in SD, leaving you with either no ATP, or possibly an Availability check against planning.
So, if you are talking about sales orders, and not PP orders, the most likely place for 'turning off'' the ATP check is with the schedule line category.  A close second culprit is with the requirements class of the SO item.  SD configuration will determine the default requirements type, requirements class, and the default Schedule line category.  Study the sales orders in question in VA03.  Specifically look at the requirements type (procurement tab of SO Item) and the Schedule line category (goto-item-schedule lines).  Then, look at the configuration for
    Schedule line category: OVZ8
Mapping of requirements type to requirements class :  OVZH
    Requirements class:  OVZ0
Look at the setting for 'AvC'.  If it is 'on', you will get ATP against product.  If it is off, you will get either an ATP against planning, or no ATP at all.
If you wish to change the determination of the Requirements type, or the determination of the Schedule line category in SD, you should probably discuss with your local SD functional expert.  A small change here can have many unintended consequences.

  • Order reservation should not get planned in mrp run

    Hello friends,
Actually for a finished material i have created one production order by CO01.Because of it for semi finished material system created order reservation.I dont have any stock of semi finished material. Now i want while running the mrp run system should not planned this Order reservation of semifinished material. For these in configuration of availability check (Scope of check T.C  OPJJ), I  made the settings that system should not consider reservation (i deactivated the tick for include reservation) and for include depend reservation , i selected Donot check. And all these settings i made in checking group 02 and checking rule PP.After doing all these settings than also system is considering the order reservation for semifinished material and generating the planned order for it.
Do i need to do any other configurations?
    Thanking you guys in advance.

    Hi Jitendra,
Checking Control (OPJJ) has no relation with MRP.It is useful in the case of Plan and Production / Process Order only to find out Missing part.
    Now come to MRP again.
You have a choice of only 3 type of stocks to include or exclude them during MRP run while rest of the things like (PO,PR,Reservation etc are consider by default)
Go to OPPQ and after selecting Plant go to Available Stock. You will find that options,
    - Stock in Transfer
    - Block Stock
    - Restricted Stock.
And one more thing Reservation is not a available stock but its one kind requirement and if there is no stock then system will activate the Planning file entry and during next MRP run it will generate Planning proposal also.

  • ATP check for PP

    Hi Experts,
May I kindly ask how to remove the ATP Check in PP. For the conversion from planned order to production order?
Really hoping so much for your replies.
    Sincerely,
    Ria

    Hi Ria,
Please check on the following things.
    1) Under customisation settings for GATP Global settings, check whether check "Not allowed" is defined.
    2) Under customisation settings for PPDS, under Global parameters and defaults, in execute tab, "no check" is defined.
This will prevent ATP check during conversion of planned order to production order.
    Please confirm.

  • ATP check in BAPI_PO_CREATE1

    Hi! Experts
I'm using BAPI_PO_CREATE1 to create stock transport orders (STOs) but encountered limitation in ATP check.
The requirement is to create several STOs during once program excution according to the uploading data file. If any errors occur reverse any orders which has been genereated - which can be easily achived by ROLLBACK WORK statement.
Take an example, material A has total stock 100 TO. To create 1 order with 120 TO will get message return as 'no enough quantity in plant xxxx'. However if import data file contains 6 STOs with quantity 20 TO by calling BAPI, all can be generate succesfully because every order pass the ATP check during BAPI call.
Would like to ask for alternative solutions rather than COMMIT WORK for every time BAPI call.
    Thanks,

  • ATP check in COHV

    Hi All
Iam doing ATP check in planned order and getting Missing parts.
When i do ATP check in COHV for same planned order then iam not getting any missing parts.
    Is any config is missing?

    Hi,
From what i know SAP recommends usage of MDVP for planned orders. There are still quite many issues with usage of COHV for planned orders, hence i would suggest the use of MDVP.
    Hope it clarifies.

  • Error in ATP checking

    Hi All,
Could you please check the below screen and help me clear the doubts in ATP process.
For one item, the existing stock is 1,304,480 PCE and the Production orders (the product end date is tomorrow ).
The question is even though the ready stock and production order quantity is not equivalent to the total sales order quantity, the system is showing that in ATP checking, the full quantity as confirmed.
Is it correct or are we missing any configuration?
    Thanks for the help.

The availability check adheres to certain rules; these rules state which recipts / issues / stocks are to be considered in calculating the available quantity. For example:
    You have stock of 10.
    You have a production order = 10.
Is the available quantity = 10 or 20?
In the customising transaction OVZ9, you state whether you want production orders to be considered in the ATP check. If you state production orders to be considered, then you have 20 available. If you state they are not to be considered, then you have 10.
The above is just one example from the OVZ9 transaction; there are many others. You should familiarise yourself with OVZ9. One of the other settings in OVZ9 is "Check Without RLT".
Any requirement you have will be confirmed on or after the end lead date (RLT) regardless of the issues / receipts in the system. It is for this reason: Lets say you have a requirement in one month's time. The system fails to confirm availability. Therefore, you have not given a confirmed delivery date to the customer. However, you know in your process that a future receipt of stock will likely be able to cover a requirement so far into the future. Therefore, you want the system to automatically confirm these type of requirements. In this case, you use the "End Lead Date" to decide at which point you want requirements to be automatically confirmed. Usually, it would not make sense to have an end lead date today or at a date very close to the future. So you have 2 options:
    1) Select "Check without RLT" in OVZ9 for the relevent checking rule
    2) Extend the end lead date further into the future (by setting the relevant values in the material master - see the F4 help for the end lead date in CO09 that explains this exactly).
