Attempting to delete future occurences of Calendar items.

Question

I cannot delete Calendar items that are recurring (set to occur weekly, monthly, annually).  When I do, they pop right back in.  When deleting a recurring calendar item, the options given are: "Delete All Future Events" and "Delete Only This Event".  Neither option works for me - the calendar items pop back in within seconds.  How to resolve this?  I can only delete single-occuring calendar items.  Thank you!

Found time to fiddle with a powershell script again and have run into an issue. I am a marketing guy fiddling with powershell, so please be gentle!I am attempting to remove only the shortcuts in a directory but am not having a lot of luck.Powershell#Clear out previous contents of "$env:appdata\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu"$startMenu = "$env:appdata\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu"Get-ChildItem $startMenu -Include *.lnk| foreach ($_) {Remove-Item $_.FullName}This code works if i remove "-Include *.lnk" from the line, but then it asks if i also want to remove the "Programs" folder, which i don't. Is there a different way to ask for only the shortcuts in the directory?Ill add that the reason i want to remove these shortcuts is that the rest of the script pushes a bunch of shortcuts INTO this folder and i wanted to ensure any old shortcuts...
