Audacious skin error

Hello,
I just installed audacious (simply by pacman -S audacious)
But if i wanne start audacious i get this error-message;
"check that skin at '(null)' is usable and default skin is properly installed at '/usr/share/audacious/Skins/Default'
If I look at the usr/share/adacious/skins/default map, everything looks normal
I also tried to run audacious with root-rights -> same problem.
Does somebody have an idea to solve this small problem ?

you NEED to install the audacious-plugins package (again, pacman -S audacious-plugins). If that doesn't fix your problem, please post again saying so and i'll direct your post to the Audacious developers.

  • Audacious, skin problem. Cannot start.

    Hello.
    I just installed Audacious player, but I cannot start it. When I try to run the player, I get the following error message:
    Unable to load skin.
    Check that skin at '(null)' is usable and default scin is properly installed at '/usr/share/audacious/Skins/Default'.
    I have the default skin in /usr/share/audacious/Skins/Default directory. I do not know what the first part of the message means (Check that skin at '(null)' is usable...). Can someone give me a hand.
    I do not know what else information to post. If you need to know anything for my system, I will post the info. I have Arch GNU/Linux Core Dump, kernel: 2.6.24-ARCH. The system is installed as "Basic", I am using fluxbox ... If you need anything else ...
    Regards.

    OT: I'm sorry. I just couldn't help laughing at the subject, which makes perfect sense within the Linux context but which sounds truly bizarre otherwise.

  • VideoPlayer skinning error

    Have a spark VideoPlayer component, wich is skinned with my custom mxml skin. When compiling, everything seems to be nice, but when trying to switch the VideoPlayer to the fullscreen mode, get Flash Player errors: "Undefined state: loadingAndFullScreen...." and "Undefined state: playingAndFullScreen". But, i have never defined those states neither for VideoPlayer nor for it's sub-components. Besides, FlashBuilder4 Help does not contains those kinds of skin states on a spark VideoPlayer component. It contains only fullScreenLoading, fullSrceenPlaying etc. I have defined them in my VideoPlayer skin file. So, what's going on? Anybody maybe knows the solving of this problem?

    Ryan, thanks for reply.
    I use Flash Builder 4 premium Beta (build 253292).
    My VideoPlayer controls' skins are stored in separated mxmls, is that correct?
    Sorry, now i can't imagine how to do the compile-time check on skins.

  • Arch Linux skin for xmms/bmp/audacious

    This is a simple skin for xmms/bmp/audacious with an Arch Linux look (based on a skin for Debian).
    You can get it from here. Untar it in the Skins subdir (for audacious this is ~/.local/share/audacious/Skins/).

    Thanks
    Just paste the .tar.gz to ~/.xmms/Skins
    No root-permission needed

  • We auto import flash.utils.trace; which cannot be found

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create a flex application with a script tag
    2. Inside the script tag get hints after 'tra'
    3. The first item that appears is 'trace(..rest)' -- select
    that
    Actual Results:
    import flash.utils.trace; is added
    and this error appears in problems pane

  • Error while deploying, Custom Style Skin in OBIEE 11.1.1.6.7

    Hi,
    I have deployed Custom Style Skin in OBIEE 11.1.1.5 successfuly (with the help of http://www.rittmanmead.com/2010/12/oracle-bi-ee-11g-styles-skins-custom-xml-messages/ ).
    Now when we're moving RPD, Catalog & Custom Style Skin from OBIEE 11.1.1.5 to OBIEE 11.1.1.6.7, I could deploy RPD & Catalog but am not able to deploy Custom Style & Skin Folders.
    If you are aware of the process of deploying Custom Style & Skins (as mentioned in the link above), it requies:
    1. Custom Style & Skins folder to be Deploy using Weblogic Console.
    2. Making necessary changes in instanceconfig.xml (to point to the deployed folder) ---- this is where it's failing.
    When I do add necessary tags ( <URL> & <UI>) in instanceconfig.xml and restart Services. Presentation Services dosen't come up. Error message that is in log file is:
    In element URL: Can not have element children within a simple content.
    unknown element 'UI'
    Element 'UI' is not valid for content model : 'All(URL, SocketTimeoutSec,FileSizeMB)'
    Any pointers?
    Regards,
    Jitendra

    Hi,
    I too faced such issue, actually obiee11.1.1.5 version skin and style wont work in obiee11.1.1.6.0 and above patch ..
    u have do it once again by using obiee11.1.1.6.0 skin (because the 11.1.16.0 has UI and skin different from 11.1.1.5.0 )
    Thanks

  • RoboHelp 9/10 Java Error Trying to Compile AIR Help Skin

    I'm trying to save a custom skin for a RoboHelp 9 project on a Windows 7 64-bit PC using AIR Browser Based Help. When I try to save the skin, or compile it into a SWF, I get the following error:
    Error loading: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_09\jre\bin\jvm.dll
    The dll is located at that path. I tried running RoboHelp as Administrator. I tried editing a new skin with a new clean project and also with a downloaded trial of RoboHelp 10, and I got the same results. Has anyone seen this, or can anyone think of a fix?

    Hello hypericon_0090001,
    Have you found any fix for this, as I am having the same problem.

  • DropDownList Skin Not Found error

    I am running Flex 4.6 and the latest install of Flash Builder from the creative.adobe.com subscription.
    I have a DropDownList that is running in two places, one on a VGroup page and again on a TitleWindow popup. The VGroup displays a list of items to edit, and the TitleWindow displays a form with the item the user selected to edit.
    The VGroup page displays the DropDownList fine, however when I launch the TitleWindow in a popup (using PopUpManager), I am getting an error thrown that says the component's skin cannot be found:
    Error: Skin for IMEIAddEdit531.PanelSkin534._PanelSkin_Group1.contents.contentGroup.Form542.LocalizedForm Item543.FormItemSkin544.contentGroup.cbProviders cannot be found.

              at mx.core::UIComponent/initialize()[E:\dev\4.y\frameworks\projects\framework\src\mx\core\UI Component.as:7634]
    The error is thrown in the SkinnableComponent.as file on line 698, as the skin of this DropDownList seems to return null after all of the code attempts to find one.
    I am not doing anything with custom skins, and have in fact tried the form with a generic DropDownList with the same result. I have a version of this same application running in Flex 3, and am re-writing from near zero the app in 4.6. I have seen something that looks related, but can't tell (http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-flex-dev/201210.mbox/%3C546131470.53222 .1350418984281.JavaMail.jiratomcat@arcas%3E).
    Any ideas would greatly be appreciated!
    Cheers,

When I implemented the fix on my combo box, it started working, however now the next item on the TitleWindow form which is a generic CheckBox is now throwing the same error!  This seems like a serious bug, unless I now have to create overridden versions of all the Flex controls that have their skins forced in place?!   3. Zolotoj, Jan 6, 2011 12:42 PM   in reply to Flex harUI Report Actually, after adding the following code it started working:   import spark.skins.spark.DropDownListSkin;   override public function stylesInitialized():void  {       super.stylesInitialized();       this.setStyle("skinClass", DropDownListSkin); }

    Found solution at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3361060/skins-not-loaded-in-sub-applications-in-flex. Answer is compiler setting "-keep-all-type-selectors". Who knew...

    Yes, everything was rendered. I'm not sure what you mean by the audio mixed down, so I'm going to say no. I have a bunch of audio tracks and have never done anything special with them before.
    As to the software comment...I was planning on updating after this project was completed. I don't feel the need to rush out and get new (expensive) software, and I didn't want to switch until this was done.
    I also just tried exporting a few small sections separately--just video, video with png, video with text, video with Boris, etc. and everything exported with an error. But obviously need to export the whole thing together!

  • VerifyError: Error #1014: Class spark.skins::SparkSkin could not be found.

    I keep getting this error with every SDK after and including release 4.0.0.13099.
    I noticed in the release notes that the skins were now included as a Runtime Shared Library (sparkskins.swc). But I don't know how to make the compiler include it when building the app (if that is the problem). Anyway, even if I start with a new project and an empty mxml-file I get the error 1014 above. And it is always followed by this error:
    ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable _cee9af537b39795a3bd1729ebe7d63f3803fa353596b9c82a79ce2891eb0f825_flash_display_Sprite is not defined.
    How do I solve this?
    I'd be very grateful for any help or clues you can provide.
    I'm running the latest flash player (version 10,0,42,34) and I'm on Win 7 x64.

    Hi,
    If you are using Flash Builder, please go to Project->Properties->Build Path->Library Path->Framework Linkage and select 'Merged into code'.
    This is a known issue:
    http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-24795
    Hope this helps

  • Why am I getting "Error: Access of undefined property TextInputSkin." and "Error: Definition spark.skins.mobile:TextInputSkin could not be found." errors?

    I'm using amxmlc to build a SWF from an MXML source code file. I'm passing -swf-version=13 to amxmlc.
    In the MXML source, I have the following line:
    <s:TextArea id="inputTextArea" width="100%" height="100" fontSize="28" borderColor="#000000" skinClass="spark.skins.mobile.TextInputSkin" />
    I get these errors when running the amxmlc command:
    ...App.mxml(428):  Error: Access of undefined property TextInputSkin.
                <s:TextArea id="inputTextArea" width="100%" height="100" fontSize="28" borderColor="#000000" skinClass="spark.skins.mobile.TextInputSkin" />
    ...App.mxml(428):  Error: Definition spark.skins.mobile:TextInputSkin could not be found.
                <s:TextArea id="inputTextArea" width="100%" height="100" fontSize="28" borderColor="#000000" skinClass="spark.skins.mobile.TextInputSkin" />
    Why am I getting these errors? I need to be able to use the spark.skins.mobile.TextInputSkin in order to have use of the soft keyboard on iOS devices.

  • Flash 9.0.28.0 Error "Skin not found" in FF

    We've done quite a bit of investigation and have found that
    the FireFox browser (whether 1.5 or 2.0) has an issue when trying
    to play video. If using Flash Player version 9.0.28.0 the media

    disappears. Yet, the video itself continues to play (auto play)
    with an error message displayed on top of the video "Skin Not

    Our tests show that using Flash Player 9.0.16.0 this is a
    NONissue. We've not found this documented anywhere... Is there a

  • Skinning af|messages background color based on error type

    Hi,
    I would like to skin background color of af|messages body depending on the message type. For example, if message raised is of type "Warning", I would like the af|messages body's background color to be yellow. If message raised is "Error", then I would like the background to be orange and if the message is of type "Info", then I would like background to be green.
    I wonder if this is possible and if any has any idea on how to achieve this would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi samsam,
    You should post ADF questions to the JDeveloper & ADF forum: JDeveloper and ADF
    I guess you get more help there...

    If I continue, the editor seems to function normally.

    I am wondering if they are connected or not, and how I can

    I have tried the javascript edit in http://forums.adobe.com/message/3826014#3826014#3826014.
    Both of the forum posts you referenced are addressing the issue in RoboHelp 9. I know there was an patch for chrome in 9 (http://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/kb/enter-key-doesnt-launch-search.html).
    I'm running 8.0.2 and I work in a company where I cannot get IT to unistall the plug-in companywide.
    Just an update to my previoud post: I did realize the javascript edits I made were written over by another publish. With the edit in place however, my output still isn't working.
    Editing the .js in the webhelp folder hasn't worked to fix the functioning of the TOC and Search and why the error in the Skin Editor at all?
