Audio driver is cashing the flex desktop application

We have a desktop application which is done in flex 4 which is using the audio video capablilites.
In that application we have pretesting module like skype audio video testing. Some audio drivers are crashing the applicatiion (realtek HD driver), this issue is not getting in the flex builder 4 only in the exe the issue is showing. and this issue is not happening frequently

Embedding swf into Flex Desktop Application size/scale problem.

Hello,
I am embedding an swf animation into my desktop Flex desktop application. I am using SDK 4.6.0. I use the SWFLoader to embed the animation:
<s:SWFLoader source="img/mch_anim_1.swf"/>
When I run the application, the animation is loaded and is working, but when I try to maximize the window there is a size/scale bug that happens. The screen stays half-side maximized (maximized to the top, bottom and stays until the middle of the screen by side).
I've published the SWF for Flash Player 8 and Actionscript 2 just to test and there was no problem with the size/scale, but I need to use Actionscript 3.
Any suggestions?

I found the problem!
There was a line of code that was auto-generated from using a template out of Flash CS6. The line of code that caused it is:
stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.SHOW_ALL;
After deleting it, everything is now working properly.

After two days of research and getting localConnection to work, just to realize the application has to be running in order to pass variables to it with localConnection. I realized that I set <allowBroswerInvocation> to true in my air application, but forgot to uncomment it in the descriptor file. Extremely upsetting..... I can now get the airSWF.getApplicationVersion() to return the correct version number, but am still having problems with the airSWF.launchApplication() since it hard to debug, and just doesnt do anything. Below is the code in the Install.log after running the launchApplication() function I am still working on it and will post my progress. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Require Help Obtaining Audio Driver for Compaq Presario SR1429UK desktop

Hi,
Really hoping someone can assist me obtaining the Realtek High Definition Audio driver for the Compaq Presario SR1429UK desktop.
I've obtained a second hand SR1429UK and it has been rebuilt but I have been unable to install the audio driver. I've tried downloading it from the compaq site but the sp26552.exe update driver which is available does not work and reports errors on installation. From the Compaq site, the only available driver is the update driver and there is no available download of the 'original' driver which is sometimes available for other models.
I've tried using the other SR1429 drivers (ES, FR, IT, NX etc) but they don't seem to be compatible.
I also don't have to the recovery disk or compaq application recovery installed as it's a clean WinXP Pro build.
ANy ideas where else I can obtain this driver?

It seems you are trying to download the driver update of the audio drivers. Please try downloading the original drivers from the following weblink:

The CC Desktop Application shows app as installed. How can I fix it?

My CC Desktop Application shows me Photoshop Lightroom as installed, which is actually not on my computer. The problem is I cannot reinstall it. I've tried restarting my PC as well as reinstalling the CC Desktop App. Maybe it could be the problem that Lightroom is installed on my Laptop. Anyone had this issue and/or knows how to fix it?

I've had the same issue with my mac where i had an old system disk right beside the new installation...
i took out the old instance of my system - and everything was like expected.

I need a replacement HD audio driver other than the IDT/Beats hunka junk.

Anyone out there know if its alright to install a HD audio driver (brandwise) other than the one that came pre loaded on my HP Dv6 A8 windows7 x64? Hp apparently has IDT by the short hairs, not letting anything get out without being overprocessed, compressed and enhanced to DEATH. Not only that but they've got to drag that insolent worthless F*up, Beats audio to every download. I've tried everything, from the generic system driver that comes with windows, to registry patches and still have every problem that everyone else has with this driver.
I only see a few ways through this and they are as follows
1.) Get a new sound card ( but I'm broke after paying 900.00 for this laptop)
2.) Build a cutom driver ( guess you gotta start somewhere 'eh?)
3.) Get the lo-down on a Beats-free Idt driver...........ANYONE?..anyone.......anyon..any........
4.) OR, get a thumbs up and possibly a link to the original question.
I'm afraid that all this messin' with my 'puter is gonna funk it up after a while. Kinda like a bad hair day, the more you fuss the worse the 'muss.

I am providing you a link to an HP Support document called “Obtaining Software and Drivers” below. This document will demonstrate the different ways up getting your drivers. From Microsoft, to the HP driver page for your computer, to the original drivers that came with your computer.
There is nothing saying you cannot go directly to the audio manufacturer and download their drivers for the chip but there is no guarantee that they will work correctly as most times the OEM (in this case HP) request modifications to the hardware to suit the software requirements so they may not match up exactly. It is worth giving it a try though.

Changing what drives appear on the XFCE desktop

I created a (very) kickass linux install on a 16GB Super Talent Pico-C flash drive that I keep on my keychain! I have a couple issues I'm working through to make it perfect, and one of them is what drives appear on the desktop. XFCE usually puts removable media as desktop icons so they can be easily (un)mounted, but in this case, I would like everything except for the partitions on my flash drive to appear. This includes whatever is present in the machine, other flash drives plugged in, etc. ATM it just shows the two partitions that exist on my flash drive at any point in time. What do I need to configure for this to happen?

None of the Microsoft desktop application icons is displayed

Hi everyone,
I've recently deleted the Installer folder. Now the only problem that occurs is that all Microsoft applications icons are replaced by this ugly default icon I really cannot stay. All applications and everything else works properly, so lucky me it's just
the icons. However, I would really love to restore/rebuild (not sure which term is more correct in my case) them. Can anyone advise me how could I do this?
P.S. No need to lecture me how bad idea is to delete this folder and what the coincidences could be, I've already read all about it, when I was trying to find a way to get the icons fixed, unfortunately that was after I have already deleted the folder.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.
#1: Unfortunately I couldn't find the ShodowExplorer in my PC. I don't know if that matters, but perhaps I should have mentioned that right before I've deleted the Installer folder, I've also deleted the "Download" folder from C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\.
#2: I have no backup, have never backed up the computer, unless there are any automatic back-ups that Windows does and I'm not aware of, there's no way to recover it this way.
#3 I've done it, but it didn't work.
I'm really not interested in restoring the Installer folder, as I just managed to free about 20GB of the hard-drive, so far the only problem I've noticed are the icons and it's simply annoying. However, if there isn't any other way of restoring simply the
bloody icons, I will have to decide whether to stop paying attention to them or if that's not possible re-install the windows.
If another possibility come up to your mind, or to anybody else on this forum, please let me know.

HT201250 I just had a new hard drive installed in my iMac. Migration manager cannot see my external Time Machine hard drive to restore the files and applications. The drive is operational in Finder

I cannot seem to migrate the full time machine backup from an external hard drive back to the new hard drive. Finder sees the drive and files. When I use Migration managers, it only sees the computer hard drive after I select the time machine option to restore the files.

With what OS X version did you make the backup? If it was the same as the version you are using now, you don't have to use Migration Assistant to restore the backup. Instead, there's a safer and better method, but you will lose all the changes you have made since the last time you made the backup.
Just hold Command and R keys while your Mac is starting to start into OS X Recovery. Then, select the option to restore a Time Machine backup, and follow its steps. Also, you will be able to select the backup you want to restore

How to move ahead with the flex/php application structure

Its been a week since I strated learning Flex. I am a regular php web develeper. Since starting the flex learning I have got one thing there is no concept of "pages" in flex like in a regular php web site..there is "States".
Now I have this project requireing a login and then as per login user role different screens.
Lets say three loging roles 1) teacher 2)Student 3) Admin
Screens for each role will be diffrent as each have diffrent dashboard feature. I am confused with the structure i have decided is correct or not. Please review or suggest how to accomplish this.
The main.mxml will have login form.
it will have three states teacher, student, admin. and then these three will have sub states for particular roles features.
While going to one book I read a mxml file has atleast 1 state so can the structure be like this. (Is this possible or not)

Please reply. I am trying to find out by reading the documentation properly. But your guidance will speed things up and help me understand things quickly.

Locking The Orientation Of The Flex Mobile Application on Android Device

When you create a new mobile project (actionscript or flex) it asks if you want it to auto-orient. This setting can be edited for existing projects in [project name]-app.xml.
What I can't figure out is how to fix the application in landscape mode, as it seems to default to portrait.I could rotate the content myself, but the I'd have to convert screen events and previewing on the desktop would mean a lot of head twisting. Anyone know how to do this?

Currently I'm implementing a new Event class which is received via an ExternalInterface callback, therefor in a kindof static function.
I want to feed that into the existing EventDispatcher of my mx:Application, but do not know how to address the application.
