Authentication Fault: Invalid User Session Token

Hi,
I am trying to protect a call to third party webservices using OWSM and OAM. I followed the steps mentioned in Oracle Web Services Manager
Deployment Guide to integrate OAM in OWSM, but not able to make any break through. I am getting following error if I test my web service using OWSM's inbuilt test tool:
<SOAP-ENV:Envelope
xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
<SOAP-ENV:Body>
<SOAP-ENV:Fault>
<faultcode
xmlns:p="http://schemas.oblix.com/ws/2003/08/Faults">p:Client.AuthorizationFault</faultcode>
<faultstring>Authentication Fault: Invalid User Session Token</faultstring>
null</SOAP-ENV:Fault>
</SOAP-ENV:Body>
</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
In gateway.log file, I get following oneliner message:
security.SimpleXMLCredsExtractor - SimpleXMLCredsExtractor failed to Extract creds.
I am using standalone OWSM installation.
Installed OAM SDK on the same machine of OWSM.
Added OAM SDK libraries into OWSM's path.
Please advise as I have already wasted 3-4 weeks into it.

Hi,
Yes, I have registered the service in OWSM and calling that service through OWSM testing tool only...

    After uploading a new RPD in obiee( 11.1.1.5), my obiee has started failing with following error in nqserver.log. I have verified that BISystemUser password is the same in console and EM. I have also verified that I am entering correct RPD password while uploading it through EM. What else may be wrong ?

  • [nQSError: 43126]Authentication failed:invalid user/password, how to avoid?

    Hi,
    I encountered following error: [nQSError: 43126] Authentication failed: invalid user/password.
    when I was starting weblogic server, and server used to shutdown.
    After snooping around on net, came across this blog: http://obiee11gqna.blogspot.com/2011/09/obiee-11g-errors-nqserror-43113.html
    Found that password for MDS & BIPLATFORM was 'expired', was able to solve my problem and my Presentation Services were up & running.
    My question is, how to avoid password of MDS & BIPLATFORM from getting expired in future??
    Regards,
    Jitendra

    Dpka,
    Thanx for the link, it shows the way to avoid expiry of password.
    I also found another link, in comment section which is equally useful: http://www.artofbi.com/index.php/2011/03/mds-or-biplatform-schema-password-change-considerations/
    PS: Thanx to Deva as well for replying to my query.

  • How to know if user (session) is authenticated in other application (SSO)

    Hi folks!
    We've deployed various J2EE applications in some OC4J instances. So far the applications used SSO Authentication against OiD (LDAP), but we need a public access application.
    The problem is the following: we need a different behaviour in this last application (without authentication characteristics) depending on one user is authenticated within other application that required SSO login.
    How could check if current user (session) si authenticated against SSO, for example, in ADF-STRUTS DataAction class?
    We tested the gerRemoteUser() method but is only works within the applications requering login.
    Please, anyone could guide me?
    Mike
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Oracle AS Single Sign ON stores some of the attributes of an authenticated user in a browser cookie - the name of the Cookie is SSO_ID.
    You cannot get any information from this Cookie. The Cookie is avaliable only to the Oracle AS Single Sign ON and is meant to be used only by it. You cannot read any useful information from the Cookie as it is higly encrypted.
    If you need to know the name of the currently logged in user, your application should be a Partner Application or an External Applciation to Oracle AS Single Sign On.
    The reason is simple - you can use your browser to connect to many Websites protected by Oracle AS Single Sign ON. Thus, if your application isn't a Partner or an External Application registered with SSO, your application can't establish a context.
    Hence, your application needs to be registered as a Partner Application or an External Application with SSO.
    An application which is nto registered with SSO cannot get the User information from SSO. The getRemoteUser() method would always return a null in such cases.
    Regards,
    Sandeep

    Sorry to hear about this problem. What site are you trying to log in on? Is it a Mozilla site? Usually you don't need to register or sign in to a Mozilla site to use Firefox. Usually you can just go straight to where you want to go.

  • Invalid session id when logging in after logging out.(Stale session token?)

    When I logout and then login again I get an exception in the agent debug log which seems to indicate that it is trying to use the old session token. The agent is correctly seeing the logout event and redirecting to the logout page and then to the login page. Am I missing something from my cookie rest values? What values should I have there?

  • DRM-61026: Unable to create user session for the following reason: Login failed. Invalid user name or password.

    All Im very new to Oracle DRM and Im trying to get the app setup on Windows server running SQL Server 2008.  When I try to login to the Web Client I keep getting this error.
    DRM-61026: Unable to create user session for the following reason: Login failed. Invalid user name or password.
    Can you please help

    This might be due to The 'Oracle Instance' path may not have been set to a path relative to the 'CSS Bridge Host' (i.e. the Foundation Services machine) on the Configuration > Host Machines > CSS > General tab of the DRM Configuration Utility.
    if this is the case then
    1. Open the DRM Configuration Console.
    2. Go to the Configuration > Host Machines > CSS > General tab of the DRM Configuration Utility.
    3. Ensure that the path in 'Oracle Instance' has been set relative to the 'CSS Bridge Host' (i.e. the Foundation Services machine defined in 'CSS Bridge Host').
    4. If corrections are made to 'Oracle Instance' then restart the DRM services to pick up the change.
    Thanks,

              hi,
              1. Check whether u have mistakenly called the session.invalidate() method if
              u are using HTTPSession
              2. Check the App.server Session Timeout
              3. If you are using Cookies check whether the cookies MaximumAge is expried before

  • Help: consuming an external web service with user name token

    Hello Together!
    I need to consume an external web service secured with WS-UserNameToken. The way, how did I do it:
    1. I generated a web service consumer (proxy) in SE80 from the wsdl file
    2. I created logical port for the consumer in SOAMANAGER
    3. I created security profile in WSSPROFILE with telpmate SET_USERNAME and assigned it to consumer operation in LPCONFIG  (I use LPCONFIG, because I didn't find any way to do it in SOAMANAGER)
    3. I called the web service and got the error back:  session token is missing or invalid or has inspired
    My questions are:
    1. is this possible to consume an external webservice in SAP, which is secured with WS-Usernametoken?
    2. do I need therefore any settings in java stack? do I need java stack in general?
    3. Is this any way to configure the consumer without writing programs, which set header parameter manually?
    4. if the answer on the third question is no, do you have any examples, how to implement session management in report? (I mean sending session id and checking the validaty of id)
    I appriciate any help of you!
    best regards Anna

    Hi,
    it should be possible to use WS-UserNameToken for consuming web service. It should be available on AS BAP 7.0 and higher. This profile should be under category Document authentication. You can try to dump a message send from SAP to see what is going out of SAP. This should be supported in ABAP so you don't need a Java stack. What exactly do you want to configure? Do you want to just set user name and password for that service which will be used for any calls of that proxy?
    Cheers

  • SSO + OBIEE + Impersonation :: Invalid user/password

    I am running the following setup:
    OBIEE
    Oracle Business Intelligence Product Version 10.1.3.3.2 (Build 071217.1900)
    Physical Presentation Catalog Path /apps/installs/OracleBIData/web/catalog/paint/root
    Oracle BI Server Data Source AnalyticsWeb
    Analytics WebApp
    Turned off OC4J, and deployed Analytics.war file on its own Apache-Tomcat instance
    The Tomcat instance listens on port 9090
    Siteminder (SSO) / Proxy Tier
    I am running an Apache Web Server instance protected by CA Siteminder's SSO policy
    AWS is listening on port 80, and acting as a proxy to redirect requests for Analytics.
    Example:
    Tomcat Analytics: http://localhost:9090/analytics/
    AWS: http://localhost:80/obiee/ ==> http://localhost:9090/analytics/
    I am doing testing with the out of the box PAIN repository & set of dashboards. My goal is to:
    1. Protect OBIEE behind SSO
    2. Allow ANY SSO authenticated user to gain access to OBIEE Analytics
    3. Remove OBIEE's own authentication / login screen
    Effectively:
    1. Browse to http://localhost/obiee/
    2. Get redirected to SSO login landing page
    3. Authenticate via SSO
    4. Upon successful SSO authentication, get redirected to the default OBIEE dashboard
    So far, so good. I followed the guide for SSO integration found here: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12096_01/books/AnyDeploy/AnyDeploySSO.html
    I've added the necessary entries on my instanceconfig.xml ($ORACLEBIDATA_HOME/web/config/instanceconfig.xml) as follows
    <Auth>
    <SSO enabled="true">
    <ParamList>
    <Param name="IMPERSONATE" source="httpHeader" nameInSource="eid"/>
    </ParamList>
    </SSO>
    </Auth>
    <CredentialStore>
    <CredentialStorage type="file" path="/apps/installs/OracleBIData/web/config/credentialstore.xml" passphrase="***********"/>
    </CredentialStore>
    I've created an Impersonator user and impersonation alias on my credentialstore.xml file using:
    cryptotools credstore -add -infile $ORACLEBIDATA_HOME/web/config/credentialstore.xml
    Credential Alias: impersonation
    Username: Impersonator
    Password: ***********
    Do you want to encrypt the password? y/n (y):
    Passphrase for encryption: ***********
    Do you want to write the passphrase to the xml? y/n (n):
    File "<OracleBIData>/web/config/credentialstore.xml" exists. Do you want tooverwrite it? y/n (y):
    I've also added the Impersonator user to the repository using BI Administrator. I opened the respository online and added Impersonator as a user, with the same password I defined when I user cryptotools. I included the Impersonator user on the same groups as the default Administrator (Administrators & XMLP_ADMIN) and subsequently checked my changes back into the server. After everything was done, I bounced presentation and BI servers through:
    $run-sa.sh stop
    $run-saw.sh stop
    $run-sa.sh start
    $run-saw.sh start
    Presentation services starts up fine, BI server starts up fine as well. When I browse to the Apache Web Server site, I get redirected to SSO, I pass my credentials, and the wind up on the /saw.dll?Dashboard URI but I get the following message:
    You are not currently logged in to the Oracle BI Server.
    If you have already logged in, your connection might have timed out, or a communications or server error may have occurred.
    Here are the relevant log entries from $ORACLEBIDATA_HOME/web/log
    sawlog0.log -I replaced the actual username with <SSOUID>. <SSOUID> is the actual SSO header I need.

    I am at a total loss with this. If I am understanding the OBIEE stack correctly, this would seem to indicate:
    a. The impersonation credentials on the credentialstore.xml file are not being decrypted correctly, or the password actually doesn't match. But I've triple checked this.
    b. The impersonation alias is not being recognized by presentation services.
    I would really appreciate any input here. If I've left out any relevant items, please ask questions and I'll try to be as thorough as possible.
    Thanks in advance!

  • Invalid Kiosk session configuration...

    Guys,
    I have a Solaris-based SRSS 4.2 installation. I have Global Kiosk set to connect to VMware View server (and it works fine).
    I have certain people that need to connect to their Linux desktops. So I created another Kiosk configuration using the Kiosk Mode Generic Session (http://wiki.sun-rays.org/index.php/SRSS_Addon:_Kiosk_Mode_Generic_Session)
    My generic.conf looks like this:
    KIOSK_SESSION_EXEC=$KIOSK_SESSION_DIR/generic-session
    KIOSK_SESSION_LABEL="SGD"
    KIOSK_SESSION_DESCRIPTION="Provides an SGD X session for running a Kiosk script."
    KIOSK_SESSION_ARGS="/usr/bin/firefox http://sgdserver/sgd"
    KIOSK_SESSION_PROTOTYPE=generic-session
    I have then ran these commands to import the configuration and assign it to certain users:
    # utkiosk -i SGD -f generic.conf
    # utkiosk –l
    SGD
    session
    Now assign the SGD configuration to users’ token:
    # utkioskoverride -r Payflex.xxxxxxx -s kiosk -c SGD
    Here’s the kick… If I set Global Kiosk to SGD, it works fine and brings up SGD login page as it is supposed to.
    If I set Global Kiosk back to View and try to use a smartcard to bring up SGD for the particular user, I get:
    Login Incorrect, please try again
    then an error stating:
    Error starting Kiosk session: Invalid Kiosk session configuration
    In the logs I see this:

    Any ideas? It works fine in my Lab, but at a customer site, it does not work!
    Thank you in advance for your help!

    I have a Solaris-based SRSS 4.2 installation. I have Global Kiosk set to connect to VMware View server (and it works fine).
    I created another Kiosk configuration using the Kiosk Mode Generic Session (http://wiki.sun-rays.org/index.php/SRSS_Addon:_Kiosk_Mode_Generic_Session)
    My generic.conf looks like this:
    KIOSK_SESSION_EXEC=$KIOSK_SESSION_DIR/generic-session
    KIOSK_SESSION_LABEL="SGD"
    KIOSK_SESSION_DESCRIPTION="Provides an SGD X session for running a Kiosk script."
    KIOSK_SESSION_ARGS="/usr/bin/firefox http://sgdserver/sgd"
    KIOSK_SESSION_PROTOTYPE=generic-session
    I have then ran these commands to import the configuration and assign it to certain users:
    # utkiosk -i SGD -f generic.confUnfortunately Kiosk has two kinds of *.conf files: session descriptors (see the kiosk(5) man page) and session configurations (see the session.conf(4) man page). And these types are rather similar - some settings can be in the descriptor as default, but also in the session configuration. The generic.conf you have is a session descriptor. Those must be stored into /etc/opt/SUNWkio/sessions/. But for import into utkiosk you need a session configuration. Probably utkiosk should do more validation of the configuration you are importing to protect against this confusion.
    The generic session is intended for configuring any command to be executed from the admin UI. If you know your command and need a prototype, you should go the extra step and make a specific session. Here is how:
    Rename your file to /etc/opt/SUNWkio/sessions/SGD.conf and change it to be:
    KIOSK_SESSION_EXEC=/usr/bin/firefox
    KIOSK_SESSION_LABEL=SGD
    KIOSK_SESSION_DESCRIPTION=Provides an SGD X session for running a Kiosk script.
    KIOSK_SESSION_PROTOTYPE=SGDAlso rename your /etc/opt/SUNWkio/prototypes/generic-session directory to /etc/opt/SUNWkio/prototypes/SGD, as per the last line above.
    You can leave the KIOSK_SESSIONS_ARGS line in the file, if you wish, but it will just be a default, so I'll show how to set the arguments via utkiosk.
    To verify that you have set up the descriptor correctly, use
    /opt/SUNWkio/bin/kioskdesc print SGD Now create your session configuration:
    # utkiosk -i SGD <<!
    KIOSK_SESSION=SGD
    KIOSK_SESSION_ARGS=http://sgdserver/sgd
    ! Of course you can also put these two lines into a file and use it with the -f argument to utkiosk.

  • Kill User Sessions in Enterprise

    I was told that there was some code here that would allow me to kill user sessions in BOE XI 3.1 SP3. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    If you have access to Service Market Place, you can search for KB 1468652.
    It includes the following information, the code snippets are java code, you will just need to convert it to .NET:
    This method was not supported in version XI R2, but it is supported in version XI 3.1.  The steps are:
    1. Retrieve the connection objects using the following query and determine the SI_ID of the connection you want to terminate.
    SELECT SI_ID, SI_USERID, SI_NAME, SI_LASTLOGONTIME FROM CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS WHERE SI_KIND = 'Connection' AND SI_FAILOVER_AVAILABLE_UNTIL = NULL AND SI_AUTHEN_METHOD != 'server-token' ORDER BY SI_NAME"
    Do not delete any connections that use the server-token authentication method as those are used to communicate between servers (e.g. between the page server and cache server).
    2. Once you know the SI_ID, retrieve that specific infoobject and delete it.
    IInfoObjects oSessions = (IInfoObjects) iStore.query("SELECT SI_ID from CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS WHERE SI_ID =" + sessionID);
    IInfoObject oSession = (IInfoObject)oSessions.get(0);
    oSessions.delete(oSession);
    iStore.commit (oSessions);

    First login must be done with Installation user.
    In your case you tried to login from your PC where you were conected with your user.
    This user  is used to connect to BPC and this user has no rights into BPC.
    It was used this user because BPC allow Windows authentication.
    So you have to go into IE - Tools - Internet Options
    Select Security Tab - Select Intranet
    Push Custom Level
    Go to section - User Authentication - select "Prompt always user and pwd"
    Close IE
    Open again and try http://nameofserver/osoft you will receive now a prompt for user and pwd.
    Input an user and pwd with access to BPC and you will see this time the page will be load correct.

  • Warning 503 80314:Invalid user endpointid

    I changed my password on google.  Now my droid htc is no longer able to access my gmail.  It sends me a message from [email protected] that says "Your account could not be authenticated.  If you have recently changed your email password, please enter the most current password in setting to continue receiving emails.  So, I go to settings and try to update the password.  Then I get the "Warning 503 80314: Invalid user endpointid" message.  What do I do to fix this so that my phone can access my gmail again?
    Thanks

    I'm having the same issue with a replacement SGS3.  How do I delete my account to begin again?  I've tried under "Settings"  then "Accounts" but only find option to add, not delete.
    Thanks.
