Authorization for gl account to specific user

Dear SAP Experts,
Cash GL Account-accounting to be authorized to specific User ID.
In breaf:
while post the document in cash gl account, they need to give authorization cash gl account wise per each user ID.
pls advice me...

ex: let say chash gl account 410000.. we want to give the authorization to post in 410000 to user id 254109 only not fot all..

EDMS: 'Missing authorization for this functionality' when searching user

Hi,
I've activated ALC authorization for DMS. In EDMS, when trying to add an user to a DIR with search function an error occurres as below.
'Missing authorization for this functionality'
BTW, the user has contains SAP_ALL profile. It can't be any authorization reasons.

authorization checks will not happen if the search help from sap-gui.I
think the problem is releted to missing implementation of "check
function module" from your side. If the search help is linked to a
"master data table" (type A) a check function must be implemented to
check the permission of the user.

"Low-level" authorizations for accessing BW reports - add users to role

Using the advice in Topic "Low-level" authorizations for accessing BW reports, I have been able to publish a query to a role that has 3 test users and each user gets the same query but with different data, as determined in the tables.
Is there a way to look up the users and e-mail addresses from a table and associate them to the role? We have several hundred e-mail recipients that will not need BW access, but only need an e-mail with a static report that contains data on their own territories.

i think programatically it might be complex. You got to maintain a seperate variant of report per user and use this variant to send mail. that means you need to maintain a variant and a Broadcast setting per user. once maintained you can use it any number of times the values will be recalculated everytime.

Itunes authorization for an account that doesn't exist?

My new MacBook is asking for an Itunes store authorization for a particular song under an account name that doesn't exist. My apple ID is an old e-mail address; I've already successfully authorized the computer to play songs from that account, into which I can log in with no difficultly. The account name that is supposedly attached to this song is a newer e-mail address (maybe I unsuccessfully tried to change the Apple ID at some point?), but when I click on "forgot password" in the authorization window, it says that the account for which it had prompted me to authorize doesn't exist. Suggestions?

Restricting Authorizations for GL Account

We have created 2 profit centers in our company code (Profit Center 1000 and profit center 2000). User for both the profit centers are different. User1 is responsible for profit center 1000 and user2 is responsible for profit center 2000.
There are 5 bank accounts and we create separate GL accounts for the all 5 bank accounts. (1 main bank account and 2 sub accounts).
Out of 5 bank accounts, 3 bank accounts pertains to profit center 1000 and 2 bank accounts pertains to profit center 2000.
But by mistake user2 posts in bank of profit center 1. So i want to restrict the access of GL accounts of profit center 1000 to user2 and vice a versa. Please tell me how we can restrict the authorizations.
I tried with some field as "authorization group" in GL master data - FS00. But i am unable to use it properly. Please help me and let me know how to use "authorization group" in GL master data - FS00.

If it is a matter of authorization. the Atif's answer is right.
If it is a mater of validation.
To restrict G/L Account(s) with Profit center(s)
You need to use GGB0 Validation in Accounting Documents.
then you need to activate it through this path:
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide - Financial Accounting (New) - Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) - Tools -Validation/Substitution - Validation in Accounting Documents.
Note event is very important you can make it on line item level

Authorization For :Monitoring Changes done by User .

I am not abe to monitor changes done by user in Delivery as well as billing so kindly suggest.
For Billing:I went to environment-->Changes:Getting msg:Authorization Object s_scd0_all not assigned.
For Delivery:Changes field apears Grey Even if changes are done.

For this you need to co ordinate with ur Basis Team. First you need assign this Authorization Object with respective Field and Values to ur respective SD Role which is assigned to your User Id by using T.Code PFCG
To Check Role Go To SU01- User ID Tab Role here u need to check the roles.

The limit is 5. Perhaps you've lost authorizations when restoring previous computers. You can deauthorize all, then authorize the computers that you want to use.

User has no RFC authorization for function group.

Hi expert,
I am calling a new function module from the WebDynpro Java that is causing an issue that User has no RFC authorization for function group. if the user doesnt have proper authorization like SE37 Transactions Code and others.
But there is some more existing function module in the same application that is working fine without having above issues with same access.
I am passing the USERID as input in the function Module and execute simply.
So can you please tell me the Way to handle it?

I think,there is problem with ur JCO connection..
Please check the following steps -
1. Go to transaction SM59.
2. Choose Create.
3. Enter the following:
RFC destination: SAPSLDAPI
Connection type: T (Start an external program via TCP/IP).
4. Choose Enter.
5. Choose Technical settings and specify the following data:
a. Select Registered Server Program as the activation type.
b. Enter the program ID of the SAP J2EE Engine that acts as the RFC server. Enter SAPSLD_xyz (xyz is the SID of SAP J2EE Engine Server.)
c. Enter the gateway host and the gateway service of R/3 server
d. If the system is a Unicode system, navigate to Special Options and select the option
Non-Unicode or Unicode in the section Character Width in Target System according to the gateway
server.
6. Save your entries.
Now
1. Go transaction SLDAPICUST.
2. Switch to editing mode and choose Insert Row. Specify the connection parameters of the J2ee server ,
Host name, port Number, user and password - and set this SLD server as Primary.
Only the entry marked as Primary is active.
Please check whether there is entryof r/3 server in the j2ee server /etc/services folder.If no entry is there then add -
R/3server port/TCP
in the service file.
Please check the r/3server service folder and host folder - do they have entry of java server, if no add the entry in the same way as done above for j2ee server.
Also check the Group ,that u have entered for r/3 server in SLD exist in R/3 server or not if not add it....

Authorization for F.80

I want to give authorization for F.80 to particular user but with restriction of GL accounts I specify. i.e. He can use F.80 for reversing documents having GL Account X only.

In validation I am giving prerequisite SYST-TCODE = 'F.80' AND SYST-UNAME = 'XYZ'. But the problem is that system is taking T Code FB08 for F.80 also. (If you see any document reversed with F.80 you will find T Code given in the Document header is FB08). So how to decide whether T Code F.80 is used or FB08. I don't want to limit use of FB08.

No authorization for this action when startin ESR in PI

Hi,
We try to set up our authorizations correctly in PI, but when I try to start the ESR of PI I get the message 'No authorization for this action'. My user has the administrator role, developer role en configurator role.
In the log I see I got logged on correctly.
Anyone any idea what the reason might be for this problem? Or is there a way to trace the autorizations onthe JAVA stack?

Hello,
You could also try the following:
Clear the Java Web Start cache
Java Web Start > File > Preferences > Advanced > Clear Folder
Restore the Java Web Start archives:
http://<server>:<port>/dir/start/index.jsp > Administration > Repository/Directory tab
-> Java Web Start Administration -> Restore Archives
If this fails you could try applying the latest patches for the XI components:
XIAF, XIAFC, XITOOL, XIGUI, MESSAGING

Authorization for Delimit / Lock button in PA30 screen

I have a requirement that users should not be able to Lock the leave record in IT2001. The user has authorizations for Read / Write and Display.
Also I do have a requirement that the user should not have authorization for delimit button. The user has authorizations for Read / Write and Display.
Do we have any authorization object for delimit / lock ??

Accounts search not working for only the specific user

Hi friends,
We have configured E.P 7.0 with CRM 5.0 and configured CRM PCUI business package.
We have role called accounts abd products in portal. So accounts can be searched in this role.
Now our severity issue is for one of the super user,for ex su1, accounts search is not working in portal but the same is working in CRM GUI.
for example if we search for an account 233445(or any other account) in portal its showing no data found but if we search with the same criteria data is displaying CRM GUI.
We have checked with other 2 super ids. Both ends portal and gui search is working fine.
Am unable to figure out whats the cause of the issue as search is not working only for one user su1 .
we have checked by restarting the server also to clear the memory cache.But still search is not working in portal.
Could anyone of u please advice ASAP as this is severity issue.

QM-IDI : User QMIDI has no RFC authorization for function group QIRF

I am in the process of trying to connect from Labware LIMS to SAP ECC 6, specifically the quality module. The aim is to use Labware to connect to SAP via the QM-IDI interface to
1) Download inspection lots from SAP
2) Upload usage decisions and inspection lot results to SAP.
Initially I specified an account on SAP of the type 'Communications Data', however any time I tried to connect to SAP from LIMS via the interface with this account it gives an 'Incorrect Username/Password' error in the trace logs. I then changed the account to a dialog user, which seems to be partially more successful, however the trace logs captures the following error 'User QMIDI has no RFC authorization for function group QIRF' when I try to connect from LIMS to SAP via the QM-IDI interface after changing the user to type dialog.
I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue.
