Auto add date in a dynamic table

I have a file here. I would like to make the Colum Day 01 should be auto created when I enter 5, then it will auto create 5 rows with Day 01 --> Day 05.
Also with the Date Selector. I would like to choose a date for 1st row. Then the rest, should be automatically created.
I tried to find the script in forum but no one face to this problem.

Here is the updated form..
Few things I corrected.
1) In the Form properties under Preview tab, you selected Preview Type as Print form. I changed it to Interactive.
2) The code in NF1 field I moved it to Exit event from enter event.
3) In the DayNum Calculate event you are not taking the index properly. You are adding rows for Row1. So your reference to Row1 should be like this.

I did not fully understand your second requirement on the date selection. But if you are thinking to have the same date value displayed in all of the rows then you need to have all the fields with same name and set the binding to Global..

Hello Ajay,
If you have dynamic table in adobe and you want to capture all the added rows then you need to add corresponding element in the node bound to that table ui.
when u add a row using java script in adobe form there is no corresponding element created in the backend that is ur wd node bound to the table ui. and so u only get 1 row of data back.
try this,
create a button in your view holding adobe form say "add rows" and on click of this button write the code to add one more element to the node bound to ur table ui of adobe form. when server side rendering occurs it will recreate the table in adobe with added row in the node and you will be able to get the data entered by user.

I have design form in screen painter , 3 text boxes and labels, 2 add buttons with uid 1 and 2 , and
i have created tables and fields maually and registered new object i have also mentioned table name and alias in property box with fields i have created with userdefined fields as ex: U_age etc and table @EMP in property box
I am loading this form as xml file to SAP B1 every thing works fine but when i click add button no data is added to table what is the problem

Capturing data from a dynamic table that span multiple pages

I created a PDF form that contained a dynamic table that can span across multiple pages. Additional rows in the table can be created by the person filling the form as and when needed.
The PDF form is distributed to the receipient using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
However, when the form is "Submitted" back to the originator of the form, only data in the first row of the table is captured in the Response file. All the other rows are left out.
I would be grateful if anyone can advise me as to how do I or what shall I do to get all the data in all the rows in the table into the Response File?

Populate data into the dynamic table ie using field symbols

Dear All,
I need to convert the XML data into internal table. I did this using the guidelines in the forum. Using all those i can get my data
in the format of
Cname Cvalue
id          1
name    XX
id          2
name    YY
But i need the values in the format of int_tab like,
ID      Name
1       XX
2       YY
I used the below code to create the dynamic table strucure.

Fill dynamic internal table with data from another dynamic table

Hi,
I have a huge dynamic table with a few columns and need to fill another dynamic table with some of the columns, that are also existing in the other one. I first know at runtime, which fields the smaller table contains.
Until now, I did it that way:
LOOP AT <it_tab_structure> ASSIGNING <wa_tab_structure>.
    LOOP AT lt_comp_full INTO ls_comp_full.
      ASSIGN COMPONENT ls_comp_full-name OF STRUCTURE <structure> TO <column>.
      ASSIGN COMPONENT ls_comp_full-name OF STRUCTURE <wa_tab_structure> TO <value>.
      <column> = <value>.
    ENDLOOP.
    APPEND <structure> TO <table>.
ENDLOOP.
lt_comp_full contains the columns of the second table, that have to be filled.
This is taking a very long time, as there can be a lot of columns in the source table and the source table contains at least 100000 records.
Is there therefore any way to fill the other table faster?

thank you for your answer! Unfortunately I don't have a 7.4 system here, but your example pointed out, that I can also use move-corresponding from one structure to the other, which I thought, was not possible. I'm trying out, if this makes it faster now.

Add data item from a table to another table

I have two tables, "Model" and "Colour". Fields of Model are "Id", "ModelId" and "ModelName" and fields of Colour are "Id", "ColourId" and "ColourName". These two tables
have one to many relationship. A model must have a colour. One Colour can have many Models.
Say "A" is ColourId with a ColourName "black". An example of ModelId would be "101A", 101 is just model code and A refer to ColourId. ModelId cannot be computed property because that's the value user gonna enter.
What I'm asking is how do I split the ColourId from ModelId and query the related colour item and add it to a record of Model.

Inserting Data to a dynamic table size

Hi All,
I have a constant stream of data going in and i wanted to capture this data from time depending on the status of the data which i can see through externally.
So i have this capture button that i clicked from time to time and get this data to be saved in a table.
My problem is i have this requirement that changes the sample size from time to time. Which means that it could be a 3x3, 4x2, or a 10x3 table.
so when i clicked in the capture button, it will need to fill up the row first depending on the number of columns then when reached the last column, proceed to the next row.
I need some suggestion from you guys on how to approach this. I just need a concept, the coding, hopefully i can figure out on my own.

Our dynamic table contains reimbusement information, the rows vary from one claim to another.

A lot is possible. There is a scripting language which should fill the gaps of missing features. There is data merge, there is XML, there is InCopy. Read everything about it and you will surely find what you need.

Dynamic Table data cannot be Read.

       I have an Adobe Interactive form and I am trying to read the data from the Dynamic Table I have in the Form. The Problem is when I try to read the data using the below code, the data which is entered by user data cannot be read for some reason.

Sum for Dynamic Fields in a Dynamic Table with Field Symbol

Hi All,
I currently have an report which I am looking to update with some totals. The information is currently output in an ALV which is fed data from a dynamic table defined with a field symbol. The modification that needs to be applied is a summation per currency code where each of the fields to be summed is a dynamically named field at runtime. I am now just looking to see if anyone has any recommendations on how to obtain these totals it would be appreciated. I have no problem doing the leg work in piecing the solution together but am just stuck on which approach I should be investigating here. I have looked into several options but do to the fact that the totals are for dynamic fields in a dynamic table and it is a field symbol I am having some difficulties thinking of the easiest approach to obtain these totals.
Below is a simple sample of what the report currently looks like and what we are looking to add.

When you are creating the first dynamic internal table , create one more with the structure below:

2 - I need to create a dynamic table. The same type of the one I choose at parameter screen.
3 - Then I need to read the csv and put the data into this dynamic table.
4 - Later I need to insert the data from the dynamic table into the standard table (the one on the parameter screen).
How do I do this job? Do you have an example? Thanks.

Here is an example table which shows how to upload a csv file from the frontend to a dynamic internal table. You can of course modify this to update your database table.
