Auto-email Support Team after team determination (new message)

Hi everyone, I know this topic has been discussed on SDN a lot, but it is still unclear how one gets the auto-email working when a new message arrives in the Service Desk. We are currently on SSM 7.0 EHP1, and I have gone through note SAP Note "1041455 -Partner dependant actions are not executed". So, here is what I have done so far:
- with note 1041455, I copied the CRM_DNO_PARTNER_1 method to ZCRM_DNO_PARTNER_1 and edited the code as described, then assigned it to the Action Definition SLFN0001_ADVANCED_FIND_PARTNER (I removed the old CRM_DNO_PARTNER_1 method).
- in SPPFCADM, I used the Action Profile SLFN0001_ADVANCED with Action Definition SLFN0001_ADVANCED_FIND_PARTNER for the Support Team finding, which works. I even set this one to Immediate Processing.
- then I copied Action Definition SLFN0001_ADVANCED_STATUS to ZSLFN0001_ADVANCED_STATUS and made it Partner Dependent on SLFN0003 (Support Team), Schedule Automatically (and I have tried most of the Action Merging options). Start Condition is "When saving document". Under Processing Types I used the Smart Forms Mail type.
- Then, under Conditions for the Action Profile SLFN0001_ADVANCED I added the ZSLFN0001_ADVANCED_STATUS action and set the Start Condition to "&CRM Service Process.User Status&  = E0001SLFN0001". So the status should be New.
Now, whenever I create a Service Message from satellite system, the message gets created, the Support Team is determined but no email is sent to the Support Team. When I open the message and click on Change, then only does the auto-email action list under the Actions tab. Only when I saved the message does it actually send the email.
So can anyone please help in getting the email sent to the Support Team right after the message gets created and the Support Team gets determined? Your help would be much appreciated!

At last, i made this one working by changing the action SLFN0001_ADVANCED_FIND_PARTNER to "Immediate Processing". Try to check this standard action, you will see that it was set to "Processing when saving".
Create a new action profile like Z_SLFN0001_ADVANCED_FIND_PARTNER (copy SLFN0001_ADVANCED_FIND_PARTNER then set to "Immediate Processing") then change the sort order in a way that it is lower than the standard one. Remeber to set also the Condition Configuration (Just copy the condition of standard SLFN0001_ADVANCED_FIND_PARTNER).
Next, create the action profile that will send the email notification with "Immediate Processing" also. Assign a sort order higher than the number you assigned to Z_SLFN0001_ADVANCED_FIND_PARTNER.
Try this one. It works on our system.

    Hold your finger down in that mail until the little blue bubble pops up. One of the options should be to select all. Choose that and all will be hilighted. then a pop up comes up to copy, choose that, open your destination and hold your finger down to get the paste dialogue.

    I resolved both my problems.  The problems with Walgreens is that my own Frontier internet connection is very slow and will allow only minimal  downloads.  When I used a Verizon Hot Spot to download pictures they downloaded without any problem.  So I am working iwth Frontier to resolve my slow internet speed.  The problem with pictures be syncronized to a gallery was resolved by using the Help column and the pictures were easily deleted by following their instructions.

    Go here to reset it: https://iforgot.apple.com/iForgot/iForgot.html.  After getting the new password, you'll need to sign out, then sign back in on your device using the new password (Settings>iTunes & App Stores, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in).

    Error message says: Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure your file system allows you to write privileges and you have enough desk space to copy the mailbox.
    This message comes and goes and often will not be fixed ( although sometimes it will ) by restarting the computer or turning off the computer and then turning back on. Sometimes I just have to come back later and try again and it works.

    It is more likely that the files are locked by an anti virus program getting in the way. Create an exception from real time scanning in your anti virus program for the Thunderbird profile folder and its children.

    Hey guys. I've been noticing an issue with the yahoo mail app on my phone and I have no idea how to fix it. I used to get notifications whenever I had new messages just fine and now I'm not getting them at all. I have to open the app itself to check for new emails. How annoying is that? I don't know if it's a yahoo issue but any help would be very much appreciated. I haven't touched any of my settings in ages so there is no reason for them to not be working. I have notifications turned on and set to alert style and yet not a thing appears, not even in the drop down notification center. I don't know what is going on. Please help!
    Phone is an iphone4 still using ios6.1.3 (still refusing to update to os7 as long as I can since I have an older phone)

    Apparently all I needed to do was logout and log back in again because I did that and tested it and it worked. Huh. Well I'll be back if it starts acting up again.

  • Emailing from iPhoto doesn't create new message

    I'm trying to email some photos from iPhoto using Apple Mail. I select my photos tell it what size to send, photo count is correct. Click on Compose and I see a progress bar...preparing photos for email. it says it processed the correct # of photos but I don't get the new message dialog box.
    Could this be because I'm using gmail imap?

    Unlikely, as the service you use has no impact on creating the message, only on sending it.
    try the troubleshooting basics:
    1. Repair Permissions using Disk Utility
    2. Delete the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the home / library / preferences folder. You'll need to reset your User options afterwards.
    3. Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts) and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account.

    You can very well send the Material Document to Vendor.
    As you want to send mail externally ( Medium - 5 ) , make a copy of WE01 o/p type.
    You can use the same program and Form Routine as that of WE01 .
    Goto Partner Functions and enter a Medium 5 after making a copy of Medium 1.Maintain the Function VN for Vendor.
    Maintian the condition records in MN21 with medium 5 and Time Spot 4.
    Maintain mailid in Vendor Master.
    Do maintain the communication strategy CS01- Standard and later try posting a Material Document.
    Maintain the user parameter "NDR" in user defaults.
    Ensure that Basis makes the relevant settings in SCOT.

  • 10.3.1.1779 causes three out of four of my email accounts to no longer download new messages (I consider it bricked)

    I started using my mothballed and unlocked Q10 a week ago, and unfortunately it was set to Automatically Download and Install Software Updates.
    After updating to 10.3.1.1779 I noticed three out of my four email accounts aren't downloading new email messages.
    The only way to get new email messages is to delete the email account and then create it again.  The problem is this is a temporary fix, and after a day or so the email accounts will stop refreshing.
    I have the same issue with my new (few week old) Passport (10.3.1.1372).  Blackberry support indicated this is a known issue and all I can do is wait for an OS update.
    In fact I took the SIM from the Passport and put it into my mothballed Q10, because as far as I'm concered a Blackberry that can't download new email messages is a bricked smartphone.
    I will mothball the Q10 again with my brand new (weeks old) ATT Passport.  They will sit gathering dust for months+ until the OS gets fixed.
    Luckily I have a Z30 and Z10 to use, and they have old OS 10 versions without this bug.
    Blackberry better get this fixed ASAP.  I'm actually considering switching to Iphone because of this, and I'd never thought I'd say that.  A smartphone that can't reliably download email is a brick, it can't be trusted, there is almost no point in carrying it.
    I can wait a month or two, after that I'll be rethinking my use of Blackberry.
    What would the average person do with this problem, they don't have five unlocked BB10 devices like I do.  They only have one.  They will have to stop using their BB and get another device.
    I'm not sure how to back out the OS version.  I'll look into that next.  I already miss the Q10.

    Now I now know exactly what is happening, however don't know how to permanently fix the issue.
    What is happening, is duplicate Inbox's are created for the account on the BB.
    I discovered this by pressing the "v" on the top of the displayed account.
    When you do this you can see Inbox, Outbox, Drafts, etc.
    I notice > 1 Inbox.  Actually this morning on my Q10, I had two Inbox's, now three.
    None of them are green icons with a circular set of arrows.
    If I'm missing a received email on the currently displayed Inbox, I'll find it in another of the Inboxes.
    This is a total pain in the butt.  I hope Blackberry knows this is an issue.
    I'm not even sure how to report it, without paying for support !
    For now I'll delete, then add back the account, to atleast start fresh with one Inbox.  I'm sure multiple Inboxes will show up over time.

    My e-mail very very slow to download and open. I have tried rebuilding my e-mail account and after opening one or two messages at a faster speed, it slows back down. Orginally when I purchased the computer and set it up it was great.

    I have a question about the behaviour of users whose
    mailbox are in a newly created message store partition
    , which I call its nickname as mailvol2
    These were what I did:
    I created the new partition using the command
    configutil -o store.partition.mailvol2.path -v /newdisk/par
    (then restarted the JSMS)
    I tried to test it first on an existing user
    (whose mails are still in the default primary partition)
    and I added the "mailMessageStore" attribute to
    his Ldap entry, with the value mailvol2
    Now I tried sending him new mails.
    The mail could be read. But it seems that they
    went to the primary mailstore partition as I
    could not see any subdirectories under the path
    /newdisk/par
    (I expected there is a subdirectory called
    ==user under there)
    Is this normal ? In other words, only newly created
    users (with the mailMessageStore= mailvol2 attribute)
    will have their mails under there.
    For the old user, I must use the
    mboxutil -r ..........
    command to move his old mailbox first in order for his
    new mails being housed in the new partition ?

    mboxutil -r should change the mailMessageStore attribute on the user.
    It is important that the mailMessageStore attribute on the user be correct. This is not for the normal functioning of access to the folder on a day-to-day basis, but for recovery purposes.
    For normal functioning, access to the folder occurs via the folder DB. The folder DB record includes the name of the partition on which the folder resides and the file system path to the folder.
    But if folder DB information has been lost, the store access code looks for the folder on the partition specified by the user's mailMessageStore attribute. If it exists, the folder is added to the folder DB. This allows the store to recover dynamically. If the user does not have a mailMessageStore attribute, then the default partition is assumed. The reconstruct -m command will search all the partitions and work this out, but the dynamic recovery requires the mailMessageStore attribute to be correct and assumes the user is on the default partition if the does not have a mailMessageStore attribute.
