Auto enter payday dates?

My paydays occur every 14 days regardless of the date. While I can enter PAYDAY for those dates
manualy in each month's calendars, I'd like to be able to auto enter those dates for
an entire year. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Jon

  • Auto/Manually enter a date

    Hello and thank you in advance for your help!  Currently I have a form that has text box using an auto date. Then I have three more text boxes that shows a date 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days ahead. I am working on this for a client and they would also like to be able to manually change the dates in any of those text boxes as well. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around what I need to do and need some guidance. Whenever I try to manually enter a date, it  immediately calculates and reverts back to today's date (and updates the other boxes as well).

    Thank you for your reply. Yes you are right, my scripts are currently in the "Custom Calculation Script" section
    Here are the scripts I use to give you a better idea:
    First Text Box:
    // get the current date's date object for the first text box
    var oDate = new Date();
    // set the field value
    this.getField("FromDate2").value = util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy", oDate);
    Second Text Box (7 days):
    var f = this.getField("FromDate2");
    var d = new Date(f.value);
    d.setDate(d.getDate()+7);
    event.value = util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy", d);
    Third Text Box (14 days):
    var f = this.getField("FromDate2");
    var d = new Date(f.value);
    d.setDate(d.getDate()+14);
    event.value = util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy", d);
    Fourth Text Box (28 days):
    var f = this.getField("FromDate2");
    var d = new Date(f.value);
    d.setDate(d.getDate()+28);
    event.value = util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy", d);

  • How do you auto populate a date in a different text field after someone digitally signs the PDF form?

    I am trying to auto populate a date in a text box on the upper right hand corner of my document after someone digitally signs it. Is this possible? How do you do this?

    Go to the Properties of the Digital Signature field and under the Signed tab enter this JS code, under the last option:
    this.getField("SignDate").value = util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy", new Date());
    this.getField("SignDate").defaultValue =this.getField("SignDate").valueAsString;
    Of course, you can adjust the field name and the date format used in the script above.

  • Auto-fill/password data deleted following Safari crash

    So, I've been having a seriously large amount of problems with Safari crashing over the past few months. Usually it just shows the spinning wheel of death, sometimes it just automatically reloads every page/tab I have open (if anyone can suggest a fix for that it would be great).
    However, this time it crashed and it appears to have completely wiped out all of my auto-fill/password data that I had saved. As this is a personal computer and nobody else uses it, I had a lot of passwords saved into it (most of them for low security risk sites). As everybody knows, a user often has hundreds of usernames/paswords for a huge number of websites. I can't remember them!
    I'm concluding that as they've all been deleted, I'm going to have to go through the arduous process of clicking the 'forgotten username/password' to retrieve these details; however, now whenever I try to save back in the auto-fill, it's not really working too well and just isn't saving it, despite me choosing for auto-fill to be operational on the website.
    Any help would be massively appreciated to sort this, as having to keep entering my usernames/passwords - urgh, let's just say this is the biggest first world problem since before bread was sliced!!
    Safari version 5.1.10
    Mac OS X Version 10.6.8

    Passwords are stored in Keychain Access located in Applications > Utlities
    Launch Keychain Access then select Passwords on the left.
    Type in the name of a website you've visited that autofilled the password.
    Then double click the website name the select the Attributes tab then click: Show password
    You may be prompted for your admin password to proceed.
    If you want a website to re remember the password, right or control click the website name in Keychain Access the click Delete.
    The next time you login to that site and enter your password you should be prompted to save that data to a new keychain.

  • How do I auto populate the date into text fields when form is first opened?

    Hello,
    I read all about the changing the scripts but its not really working for me. I was hoping someone could help me with directions on how to auto populate the date into designated text fields when my adobe document is first opened?
    I am working in Adobe Acrobat 9.
    Thank you,
    Sheri

    When you add a new document JavaScript (Advanced > Document Processing > Document JavaScripts > Script Name (enter something) > Add), you will be given a function skeleton by default. Just delete it and enter the line of code I showed above. Now, whenever the document is opened, the code will get triggered and the field will be updated with the current date. There is no "Document Open" action (at least that's accessible via Acrobat's UI), but this is effectively the same thing since any document-level JavaScripts are executed when the document is opened.

  • QuickView - How to auto save extracted data to local file.

    Hi all,
    I am using Quickview to extract data. I need to run the Quickview query in background and auto save the data extracted into local file (ASCII file). Currently when I specified File Store (as my Output Format) and entered a file name (e.g C:\Temp\test.asc). Upon completion of extraction there was a little window pop up that required me to select data format (e.g DAT, ASC) and click <Transfer> button to proceed to save data into local file.
    Is there a way that I can save data into local file without having to manually select ASC data format and click <Transfer> button. I will not be able to schedule my QuickView query to run in background if I can't resolve this problem.
    Note that I don't have access to ABAP programming, therefore this option is out.
    Thanks in advance to anyone who can share your expertise experience.

  • Problem entering meta-date LR 3

    I'm having a problem entering meta-data in LR3. As I finish typing in one field and then tab to the next and begin typing in that field LR will start doing something else, presumably saving the meta-data changes to the XMP file. In doing this, the meta-data fields disappear and subsequently, whatever I am in the middle of typing becomes keyboard commands that alter the images rather than meta-data text as intended.
    In LR 2 I had this same problem, but found that if I turned off the Auto-Save feature in the catalog's preferences the problem went away and I could then enter meta-data to my heart's content without interruption.
    However, in LR 3, turning off the Auto-Save has had no affect and I am back to not being able to enter meta-data for an image or group of images without a constant interruption. Then I have to hit undo a bunch of times to get rid of changes I've inadvertently made to the images while trying to type in the description field.
    Frustrating and time consuming. Has anyone else run across this?

    It's so since Lightroom 1. And yes, turning off auto-save xmp, seems to improve things quite a bit, but I still ran into it from time to time even in Lightroom 2.
    This usually happens when I have a lot of images selected (is Lightroom reading all their metadata and populating the fields?) and start typing soon. If I wait until Lightroom reads all the metadata into the panels and "calms down", I almost surely can avoid "typing becoming keyboard commands".

  • How to enter a data into the specified column and row in a created table

    Hi,
    I want to enter some data to specified column and row in a already created table. Please let me know how to do this.
    Regards
    Shivakumar Singh

    A table is just a 2D array of strings. Keep it in a shift register and use "replace array element" to modify the desired entry programmatically.
    If you want to modify it manually and directly from the front panel, make it into a control and type directly into the desired element. (In this case your program would need to write to it using a local variable).
    Atttached is a simple example in LabVIEW 7.0 that shows both possibilities.

    I'll keep it simple and only use the date as an example. Hopefully you get the concept from the example. Basically you create a recordset and insert the recordset value instead of the POST value into your insert query. In the example below I declared a variable for $the_date and entered the variable into the INSERT query instead of the hidden POST field.
    <?php require_once('../../Connections/ezzyConn.php'); ?>
    <?php
    if (!function_exists("GetSQLValueString")) {
    function GetSQLValueString($theValue, $theType, $theDefinedValue = "", $theNotDefinedValue = "")
      if (PHP_VERSION < 6) {
        $theValue = get_magic_quotes_gpc() ? stripslashes($theValue) : $theValue;
       $theValue = function_exists("mysql_real_escape_string") ?  mysql_real_escape_string($theValue) : mysql_escape_string($theValue);
      switch ($theType) {
        case "text":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? "'" . $theValue . "'" : "NULL";
          break;
        case "long":
        case "int":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? intval($theValue) : "NULL";
          break;
        case "double":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? doubleval($theValue) : "NULL";
          break;
        case "date":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? "'" . $theValue . "'" : "NULL";
          break;
        case "defined":
          $theValue = ($theValue != "") ? $theDefinedValue : $theNotDefinedValue;
          break;
      return $theValue;
    $the_date = date("d/m/y : H:i:s", time());
    $editFormAction = $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'];
    if (isset($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'])) {
      $editFormAction .= "?" . htmlentities($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING']);
    if ((isset($_POST["MM_insert"])) && ($_POST["MM_insert"] == "frmpostComment")) {
       $insertSQL = sprintf("INSERT INTO comments (com_topic, com_user, title,  com_content, com_date, online_id) VALUES (%s, %s, %s, %s, %s, %s)",
                           GetSQLValueString($_POST['com_topic'], "int"),

  • I don't want to allow a user to enter a date that is before January 2014

    I don't want to allow a user to enter a date that is before January 2014. I want to restrict users from entering a date that is or prior to December 31, 2013 in a date field. Is this possible?

    Seems like it is a little more complicated just to create a new Date() object in livecycle...
    the way I found to create a new Date() object is using the dateTimeEdit pattern to be 'date{EEEE, MMMM D, YYYY}'
    then u can create a new Date
    var date1 = new Date(DateTimeField1.editValue);
    date1.getTime();

    you can add that function at line 200...
    that.isPriorTo = function(date) {
         var toDate = newDate(date);
         if (isNaN(this) || isNaN(toDate)){
              return false;
         } else{

              if (interval > 0){
                   return false;
              } else{
                   return true;
    To use that function above you can just use this code:
    if (XFADate.newDate(dateFrom).isPriorTo(DateTo)){
         //dateFrom is prior to dateTo

  • Update age group picklist based on value entered in date of birth

    Hi Gurus,
    Have a requirement where in user would enter the date of birth on a contact record and would like to populate another custom field called age group at the time of creating a new record.
    The condition is some what like
    Age
    1 – 20 Teens
    21-40 Young Adults
    41-60 Adults
    60 – 100 Seniors
    I have tried using the age field but problem is that age is populated only when the record is saved.
    Update the age group via workflow works fine but the saved record has to be modified before triggering the workflow. we would like to avoid the additional step of modifying the record
    Is there any option to calculate age based on the value entered for date of birth - something like DOB Year - current year before saving a record or via post default without using workflows.
    Thanks in advance,
    Arun

    Hi
    The answer is yes, using the post default functionlaity.
    take a look in the folowign example:
    IIf(ToChar(Timestamp(),'DD/MM/YYYY')- [<DateofBirth>] < 20,'20','30')
    You will need to make something like that, but replace the '30' with another IIf expression, and so on for the next interval.
    note that date of birth should be between suqare brackets [  ] (it is shown here with underline for some reason...)
    Good luck
    Guy
