Auto insert on email
Because I sent an email to one particular addressee at one particular time........that email address is stored in memory.....so whenever I go to send an email on my Iphone that begins with the same letter in the alphabet, that unwanted email address pops up as a suggested email address to insert in the "mail to" box.
I have checked and found that email address is not in my contacts.
I want to erase that one particular email address and not the rest of the suggested addresses. Can this be done? How can I solve this problem.

Once you load in your backup file you can delete the unwanted email addresses and then restore it back to your phone. Problem solved.

Whenever I try to insert an email address or a link to a website, I no longer get the automatic hyperlink (turning blue and underlining). Also if I try to change the font color on some text it either doesn't change from black or it changes to a different color. (If I try to change to red, I get dark green; change to a bright green, I get dark red; change to blue or yellow, I get black).
I tried removing and reinstalling Firefox to no avail. Earthlink is clueless.

(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.

On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now")
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first) using either of these. While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
These features rely on JavaScript, and it sounds as though you have scripting enabled if you get (the wrong) color changes. Some add-ons might alter the way scripts operate, so a standard diagnostic to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Firefox's Safe Mode.
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [[Backing up your information]]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, restart Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode ([[Safe Mode]]) using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode."
If those features work correctly, this points to one of your extensions or custom settings as the problem.
To also disable plugins, you can use this page:

It sounds like you want to have the Mail app automatically reply to emails that come in. You can do this in the app itself, but in order for the function to work, Mail needs to be open. Take a look at this info from the following article:
Mail (Yosemite): Reply to, forward, or redirect messages
Automatically reply to or forward messages
Mail must be open before it can automatically forward or reply to messages. If you want to send automatic replies when Mail isn’t open—like when you’re on vacation—check with the provider of your email account.
Choose Mail > Preferences, then click Rules.
Click Add Rule, then type a name for the rule.
Indicate whether any or all of the conditions must be true for the rule to be applied.
Set the conditions that determine which messages to automatically reply to or forward.
Choose options from the “Perform the following actions” pop-up menu.
Forward messages: Choose Forward Message from the first pop-up menu, then enter the email addresses where you want to receive the forwarded messages. Click Message, then enter any text you want to include with the forwarded message. For example, you could explain that you’re automatically forwarding messages.
Reply to messages: Choose “Reply to Message” from the first pop-up menu, click “Reply message text,” then enter your reply. Mail includes the full text of the original message in your reply.
Click OK.
Carefully consider the rules you create. If they’re too broad, messages can be sent inadvertently or create loops (replies to replies you sent). If possible, test the rules.

A while ago I asked if it was possible to auto insert ® and ™ in a document. Peter kindly gave me the following script:
1. Open all documents that need to be checked.
2. Then open a document with the list of names, each name followed either bt (tm) or (r), e.g.
Adobe®
InDesign™
One name per line, each name followed by a symbol.
3. Run this script -- which works in CS3 and later:

Peter This worked fine but the list of words requiring a ® or ™ has grown. We now have a series of words that require a ® or ™. For example, say the word
dave originally needed a ® but now the words dave smith need a ® too. Using the current script above the first mention of dave is fine but when it
comes to dave smith i get the following result: dave® smith® when I really want this: dave smith®
We have a large catalogue to produce and manually searching for a list of ® and ™ takes a very long time so automation appears to be the way to go.

I have tried this but it doesn't quite work. I have set up a some test files. In my source list i have:

In my destination file I have:
HELLO
hELLO
When I run the script I get the following result:
Hello®
hello®
The script is actually changing the case of some of the characters. We need it to not change any of the characters but recognise the word and add the ™ or ®. We need it to give the following result:
HELLO®
hELLO®
This is how the script looks now:

thanks.No, there's no special feature for mailing options.
A few questions :
- When you say it doesn't work, you mean that, when you click on the link, your default email client doesn't automatically start ? It should.
- Do you write "mailto: ..." with quoting marks ? Quoting marks are useless.
- The problem obviously appears when linking a part of the text (the Link option is available only with parts of text). Have you ever tried with a whole text area ? Through Event menu.
- Which Rome do you use ? Online or local version ?
- The problem appears in the preview, the output file or both ?
Try to upload your site and then check your mailing button. Someone already posted about some URL rewriting by Rome within preview and local files, and the problem has been resolved with site online publishing.

Where do I specify text COLOR for PcP auto-inserted titles
I'm running PcP on 10.5 and want to change the COLOR of the title text that PcP auto-inserts into my video when I run a submit for approval workflow. Anyone know where the color is defined?
No 10.5 system at hand anymore to check but I am pretty sure the color is defined directly inside the quartz composition that is used by the command in the workflow to compose the title.

Master-Detail and Auto Insert Detail rows

I'm trying to do a Master-Detail form. I have it set to stay on the same page when I Create a new Master Record.
Now, what I would like to do is auto insert data into the Detail Rows some predefined information and have it ready for the user to enter the rest of the information. I did this by creating a Page Process to trigger on the Add Row button for the Details region. The code I used is:

When I run it, the new rows show up but the Insurance Type is NULL and browsing from one record and back the new rows are gone. It seems like the PK for the Detail rows are not being filled. I have a Sequence Trigger set to fire on Update:

How do I turn off auto text in emails?
Got a new BlackBerry Storm 2 9550. Works great except the auto text in emails drives me crazy. There are instructions for turning it off in text messages but I can't find anything about how to do that for emails.

You may also have to disable the Auto Word Learning feature as well. Which can be done with the following steps:

how to auto insert a number array with size of 20 into a named excel file with the positon is from A1 TO A20?i use lv6.1You don't need us to give you an example, as the example already comes with LV. Go to Help>>Find Examples and search for "excel". You will find an example called "write table to XL". You should note that the example doesn't do that exactly, because it writes a 2D array from 2 to N.
You can modify the example by using only one for loop (instead of nested loops) with a 1D array or by going into the Set Cell Value and modifying it to accept a second cell value for the Cell2 terminal and wiring in a 1D array instead of the single string. If you do modify it, be sure to save it under a different name, so you don't overwrite the original.
To learn more about LabVIEW, I suggest you try searching this site and google for LabVIEW tutorials. Here and here are a couple you can start with. You can also contact your local NI office and join one of their courses.
In addition, I suggest you read the LabVIEW style guide and the LabVIEW user manual (Help>>Search the LabVIEW Bookshelf).

Can You still Auto CC an email address with Z10?
On all of my previous Blackberry's I would auto cc my email so that it would always show up on my desktop in Outlook, but I can't see how to do that on my Z10.

auto-fill doesn't work when inserting addresses from my yahoo account so i need to switch email providers. what online server is best to use and allows you to use auto-fill/auto-complete? gmail doesn't allow this feature with safari either. thank you!
i think i am using the most current version of yahoo. i emailed them and they told me auto-complete isn't available for mac users so that is why i want to switch. do you know how you got yours to work? thanks!

Signature in Mail inserts above email body
I use the signature function constantly but half of the time it inserts itself above the email body rather than at the cursor point at the end of it. This is an intermittent problem that seems to have no discernible patterns - just sometimes goes in the right place and others it inserts at the top.
I am always diligent to ensure that the cursor is where I want the signature to be (at the end of the email). I have recently udated via auto updates and it still occurs.
Has anyone else had to endure this ??Not sure what you are experiencing. For a New message, you only need to begin typing above the Signature. For replies, with quoted text, the position is controlled by a box in the Preferences for Signatures.

I am not sure what generates the email address as a contact, be it the iPhone or iMac. I use iCloud to sync up my contacts/address book. This appears to happen when I am using Mac Mail on my iMac, but I have no clue where to begin to look to stop this auto addition. I have looked in Mail preferences on my iMac and in my iPhone settings, but have found nothing that "automatically add email address to contacts list".
Can anyone provide guidance? Web search has been fruitless ( I am guessing I am not using the right key words for my search).Hey jpoolewarren!
