Auto start and complete of SFC at an operation

Dear Experts,
I have come across a scenario where the SFC's need to be started and Completed automatically without a POD, is it possible without ME customization?

Thanks for the quick reply.
I have a ME routing with four operations. I would be starting and completing the SFC at first operation using POD. For second and third operations I dont want to use the POD for SFC start and complete, this should be done in background may be at POST_COMPLETE of first operation. and If I go to fourth operation , my SFC sholud present at this operation.
Give me some insights on how to achieve this in ME.

Stinking up the iPhone: auto-start and/or auto-stop iTunes playback

The feature to auto-start and/or auto-stop iTunes playback is a disaster. A good idea poorly implemented perhaps, or maybe not possible to implement well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give us a setting to turn this off! MANY MANY ENTRIES ACROSS MANY FORUMS! (e.g. Apple Discussions messageID=9937311) I will consider switching to another smartphone for this reason alone, it's that big a nuisance.

Script to auto start and stop an application

Ok, I'm looking for an easy solution, maybe someone can point me in the right direction:
I have a security camera program that runs on a Mac Mini that I would like to start and stop at a specific time of day. Is there an easy way to create an Applescript to do that?

Two scripts and iCal can do this for you. However, it assumes that your workstation is always logged into the Finder and that your app can be scripted beyond start and stop.
--Script 1, launch application
tell application "name of security app"
activate
-- do more stuff here like start capture
end tell
--Script 2, quit the application

end tell
Save them both as scripts and then use iCal to make two repeating events. One to start the app and the other to stop it. Attach your scripts as event actions. Then sit back and let the iCal schedular the rest.

Flashing stacked sequence auto start and stop

Seems like this should be so easy but I'm stumped.
I want to use some flashing leds while some of my data is plotted but can’t figure out a way to programmatically start and stop a simple flashing stacked sequence.

OK. Then put the flashing in the loop with Stuff 2, which I presume is the one for which you want to show activity. I modified your program to do this. I also eliminated the sequence structure by using dataflow. You can probably get down to one loop by changing to a state machine structure.
If the flashing rate needs to be a different rate than the Stuff 2 logic, put the slower part into a case structure which only executes one time for every n iterations.

Dbora auto start and stop

Hi all:
This is on HP-UX 11.11 .I have created the dbora script under /sbin/init.d/ and linked as below.
/sbin/rc2.d/S900oracle -> /sbin/init.d/dbora
/sbin/rc1.d/K100oracle -> /sbin/init.d/dbora
I tested the script manually as ./dbora start and ./dbora stop it worked perfect.
The script is listed below

N72 Auto Cam and applications Start/Stop Problme

I got a problem with my N72, i cant understand what happened please help me to resolve it.
Its Cam auto starting and stopping and other installed software applications as well with gap of short period of time. its not only disturbing me but also consuming battery rapidly

Drag Garage Band to the trash.
Go to: System Preferences > Account > Log In Items
Use the +/- signs to add/delete programs started at log in.

Skype/Pulse audio problem only if auto started

Hi,
I've an Arch/XFCE laptop including pulse audio and Skype (configured to use the pulse audio).
Skype has been configured (using XFCE startup menu) to auto start during boot ( we boot daily), and, till about 2 weeks ago, worked fine.
Ever since, Skype starts but isn't functional (while trying to connect to the test service I can't hear anything, not even the dialing), and, after a few minutes, starts with a constant loud noise (which stops, once I quit Skype).
Interesting, since the problem has begun, once I do either of the following, Skype returns, and remains, to be fully functional without any noise:
1. Quit the auto-started Skype, and immediately relaunch it.
2. Cancel to Skype auto start, and manually start Skype after XFCE becomes visible.
Looking at log files (below), I've seen some pulse audio related errors which I couldn't solve and may be related.
I do a full system update (almost) daily.
I'd be happy to return to the former state (functional auto-started Skype). Please advise

I have install oracle 10.2.0 on redhat 4.7 every time i have to start manualy.
it try with following scrip / process but database not starting automatically.
Please any one can provide steps for auto start and stop oracel services on RedHat 4.7

:bad interperter : no such file or directorymeans that it could not find the interpreter which should be used to interpret the script.
most probably this is caused by the shebang (#!/bin/bash)
the default location of bash on RHEL (OEL/CentOS) is /bin/bash, which means that the shebang looks correct.
can you make the shebang:
#!/bin/bash -xso shelltracing is put on and execute script again?
this will make clear if it is the shebang in your script, or in another script.

Auto starting applications on boot

I'd love to have terminal auto start and position in the bottom left of the screen. What file should I edit to make this happen? And, what how can I specify where the applicaiton should appear?
I looked for a rc.conf file, but could not find. Perhaps there is an easy way of doing this in the GUI.

Run Terminal and set the window size and position you want, then use "Save As..." from the "File" menu to create a settings file. Add this file to the "Login Items" in "Accounts" System Preference.

When starting computer, multiple DIAdem attempted startups (5 copies try to start) and errors.

When starting computer, multiple startups of DIAdem clog the boot up process (5 copies try to start) and error messages state "Data Finder cannot start due to an internal error (100): invalid config STORE! USIF error MSG:" I did not ask or want DIAdem to autostart but it sure wants to. WHY? Any help here?

I have been using the tool Matthias recommended and it is indeed a very useful program. It looks like I can stop it from doing the autostart. However, I did not intentionally cause DIAdem to autostart and do not know how this happened. (I must have done it since no one else messes with my laptop.)
A bit of historical info. I originally used a demo disk of ver 10.0 and then used the activation code after purchasing. I started having trouble with auto start and decided to upgrade to version 10.2 hoping ver 10.0 would be deleted and all troubles would be gone. No such luck. I now have both versions and need to remove ver 10.0. However, the control panel and 'add or remove programs' only finds one Nat Inst program (and it doesn't identify version).
Manually starting ver 10.0, generates an error message: "cannot open data store "MydataFinder"
Manually starting ver 10.2 generates an error message: ""data finder cannot start due to an internal error (100) invalid config etc."
In spite of error messages, the programs seem to generally work fine. I am in the process of using the program recommended by Matthias to eliminate startup issues. I am also considering uninstalling and re-installing but am uncertain of which version will be uninstalled since only one program is identified.
After I send this, I'm going to do a restart and see if problem with multiple restarts has been eliminated.

Every time I connect to my SSL/VPN with Network Connect I find safari auto-starting and appearing on my desktop. Any chance somebody knows how to stop this behavior? I dont want safari to run.

before itunes 9 I was able to set my iphone to auto start and not auto sync, now if auto sync is checked to turn it off, auto start is grayed out and my iphone will not start when plugged in? Does anyone know if this is a new feature for 9.0.1 or is it a bug?

This is not part of the sync process at all. You import these as you would from any digital camera.

Not a good idea. The iphone is not a storage device. It is meant to mirror the selected content on your computer. You are asking for problems if you delete the music from itunes.

Hi, I disabled the antivirus and the firewall. Same result
I even deleted the backup folder inside C:\Users\...\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup to eliminate any corruption in the old backup files.
Nothing changed: Session either times out or i get the same error message: itunes could not back up iphone because iphone disconnected. It always happens during step 3 out of 4 which is "transfering purchased apps from iphone to PC" and comes after step 2 which is backup.
My iphone 5 is not jailbroken, and is a factory unlocked phone.
Any other suggestion?
