Automated activity not executing in BPM process

Hi All,
We have created a BPM process in NWCE72, and it was executing fine.
When we added an automated activitiy and assigned a Web Service created from a rule and run the process, it is possible to run the process till the automated activity only. The automated activity is throwing error a snapshot of the same pasted belw
If anyone has encountered simllar problem kindly let us know how to overcome.
Lookforward for help in overcoming this problem

  • BPM send step not executed in BPM (after Message split)

    Hello everybody,
    we use BPM:
We have a paralell Block which should send the rows of a multiline element. In SXMB_BPE_MONI the send step is not executed?
    Any idea?
    Thanks  lot, regards Mario

    HI,
Go to SXMB_MONI_BPE->and check the workflow log (technical details).and go to SXI_CACHE and check the return code of the Integration Process. It should be zero. If not try to activate the same
If there is no error then go with like this-
Also check the Syntax in Integration Repository with F7. Change the IP and activate it. If there is no syntax errors.
Then reimport the IP into Directory and then test your scenario

  • User exit U935 in Mod. Pool RGGBS000 not executing in Parallel Processing

    Hi,
Settlement of IO (KO88) is not successful in parallel processing mode.
While doing Settlement of IOs (KO88) in parallel processing mode, I am getting an error on account assignment object. CO account assignment in OKC9, an user exit U935 is maintained and this user exit is used in Mod.Pool RGGBS000.
When running the settlement in normal mode, the program is running through this user exit and settlement is successful. But in prallel processing mode, looks like the settlement program is not executing / by passing the user exit and errs out with CO object assignment.
How can we make the settlement execute through the user exit in parallel processing mode?
    Thanks

    Hi,
If the user exit supposed to trigger thru substitution (GGB1), then check whether active status is 1 in OKC9.  Just a wild guess....

  • Dbora script not executing all startup processes

    Hi,
I am running Oracle10gR2 on RHEL4. I am having issues with my dbora script. I read quite a few of the posts about it and most people were having similar issues as me. However, I was still not able to get it to work properly. I am going to paste my dbora script and all the other things that I am suppose to do like edit the /etc/oratab file. The main problem I am having is that not all the process that need to be started are starting up. I've been messing around with the /etc/rc.d/init.d/rc.2..rc.3...rc.4...etc files and trying different combinations and they all give me different results. However, the one thing that never starts up is the database. I can get the listener to work and sometimes http server also, but never the database. And another weird thing is that when I check the logs (/var/log/boot.log) it says that the opmn process, for example, has been started, but when I check the status it is down. Here is how things look now.
    The /etc/oratab file
    # This file is used by ORACLE utilities. It is created by root.sh
    # and updated by the Database Configuration Assistant when creating
    # a database.
    # A colon, ':', is used as the field terminator. A new line terminates
    # the entry. Lines beginning with a pound sign, '#', are comments.
    # Entries are of the form:
    # $ORACLE_SID:$ORACLE_HOME:<N|Y>:
    # The first and second fields are the system identifier and home
    # directory of the database respectively. The third filed indicates
    # to the dbstart utility that the database should , "Y", or should not,
    # "N", be brought up at system boot time.
    # Multiple entries with the same $ORACLE_SID are not allowed.

    Thank you all.

Ok, I have tried your combination as well as other ones for the runlevels and they all took an hour or more to get the server back up again. The current configurations bring up the server within a few minutes, however, the database nor opmn process is starting. I was wondering if you could still help me? Here is my current runlevel configuration and /var/log/boot.log file. Notice the dbora entries. Thanks!

  • Exception handling branch not executing in BPM

    Hi all,
We have a problem with exception handling in BPMs.
We have created an exception branch in a block and a transformation step in it.  However, the branch doesn't get executed in case of exceptions.
Any ideas?  Is this a known problem?
    Many thanks,
    Aldo

    Hi VJ,
The exception name can only be selected from a list.  There is no chance of mistaking/misspelling in there.
That is fine as it is.  I am quite sure about it.
    Any other ideas?
I found SAP note 1039330 but we are already on patch 12 and that correction was released on patch 12.
    Thanks, regards,
    Aldo

  • For-each loop atom not executing in B1if processing step

    Dear All,
I have designed scenario in B1if in which Inbound is SAP ERP(ECC) IDOC and Outbound is UDO object. In this scenario I have loop placed in it, on the basis of IDOC fields I am executing query but it's not going inside the loop, I have entered correct path in loop. Please see attached image of processing, for loop path and inbound message.

    Hi Bastian,
    Thanks for response.
In Graphical For-Each Loop I have used xpath </vpf:Msg/vpf:Body/vpf:Payload[./@Role='S']/ZSD_IDOC_B1_JW_ASN/IDOC/ZSD_SEG_B1_ASN_SO> and its correct as per the input message which I have shown in discussion, please correct me if I have done wrong inn xpath expression.
As per my understanding I can not write loop in xslt because on the basis of some fields I am querying from database, if there is another way to achieve this please let me know.
    Thanks

  • Internet Explorer 11 not executing 32-bit processes

Haven't found another posting exactly like this, so I am making one. I have a workstation running Windows 7 SP1 x64 with Internet Explorer 11 (v.11.0.9600.17728). I have a third-party 32-bit ActiveX Control that needs to run in this browser. However, every
time I execute iexplore, it opens as a 64 bit process.  My understanding was that by default, IE11 runs a 64-bit wrapper, with 32-bit tabs, however when I check Task Manager, all I am seeing is a single iexplore.exe process, no iexplore.exe*32, no matter
how many tabs I open, I only see the single iexplore process. I also cannot click and drag tabs to spawn separate IE windows; the tabs are all stuck in the single Internet Explorer window. I've tried manually running iexplore from the x86 Program Files folder
and it still only runs the single 64-bit process. I'm looking for some guidance as to where to go next as this user needs to run this add-on and can't unless I can successfully get the 32-bit IE tabs to open.  The last version that I've confirmed successfully
opened iexplore*32 processes was IE9, which was on here previously. IE10 and 11 have both failed to execute separate processes. Any assistance is much appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi,
Based on my test, same result with Frederik. For your situation, have you tried to reset IE for test?
In addition, Enable IE protected mode and turn on 64 bit tab option is not help with this problem. If you doubt it is Group Policy problem, you can use GPresult command to check if there is any settings about IE.
Open CMD with Administrator, type  GPRESULT /H GPReport.html
After that, type .\GPReport.html command to open the report.
If no use, you can try to use Process Monitor to check IE startup process for test. We may found some clue with this problem.

  • BPM Receive Activity not FIFO ?

    Hi,
    11.1.1.7
We have a receive activity in a Singleton BPM process (not a great pattern, recognised!). Prior to the singleton receive activity being reached there may be 100's or 1000's of calls made to it. We have noticed that these are not processed in order.
    Is this expected ?
Is there a way of making the activity receive requests in a FIFO fashion ?
    Any help much appreciated.
    cheers
    Tony

    Well it is now solved...
I still don't know what was causing the issue, however when upgrading to weblogic 10.3.6 and soa 11.1.1.6 the issue was gone.
Probably was some installed patch or something on the server that was causing such behaviour.

  • Serialization Error after adding a new field to BPM Process

    Hi,
I have a BPM Process to which I added a new attribute userid and consuming the BPM process in a web dynpro application, I created a model using the BPM Process's Web Service but getting a serialization error that the model does not have a mandatory field with name [userid]. see below.
FYI.. I can trigger my BPM process through the Web Service in wsnavigator , the error I am getting is while executing the BPM Process from the custom webdynpro.
Any idea how to resolve the issue?

  • JSP-BPM Process-Web Service interaction

    Hi all
I am new to Oracle bpm studio. I am having one very important question.
I want to understand the JSP-BPM-Webservice interaction in Oracle BPM studio BPM Process, as we have an enterprise application having servlets, ejbs, etc, for these servlets & ejbswe are creating web services to expose their functionality, through a BPM process. We have created jsps for showing the result fetched from the external web services imported in our BPM process.
So in brief, jsp and external webservices are imported in our BPM project, configured as interactive & global activity respectively.
Please guide us for the JSP-BPM-Webservice interaction.
How to make the webservice working in response of the jsp, getResult Button? So that on pressing the button on jsp the webservice can return the result and the result can be diplayed on another jsp?
How to bind the webservice with bpm object, and pass the values through the bpm flow?
Could you please guide me through this small demo application?
Please please please reply my question, eagerly waiting for your reply.......................................
    Thanks & Regards

    Edited by: user10952025 on Jan 11, 2010 8:43 PM

    Hi Sujata
Yes we did the same, as given in some tutorials how to create the "Web service catalogue component", we did it, introspected the webservice.
Now we need to pass the inputs to the add method of the web service, so that it can return the result back to the jsp. So in order to achieve this we created one interactive activity component & object for jsp in the main BPM process and for the same jsp, one interactive activity component in the screenflow, and to interact with the webservice, we created the global activity in the main BPM process. We edited this global activity and dragged the add method definition there.
So now we are facing issues with jsp-web service interaction, they are not interacting, so we want somebody to guide us how to enable this with step by step instructions if somebody has done it already. We have already gone thru a lot of tutorials & forum but we want to resolve this asap.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Error in Automated activity of BPM using the PI operation mapping.

    Dear Experts,
We have a BPM process, where we have imported Operation Mapping, to use it in an automated activity. We have created the service reference with localhost and checked the local provider system check box and with type WS.
While running the scenario the process stops at the automated activity (having the Operation mapping), with error:
A technical error during invocation: Could not invoke service reference name
I have tried to recreate the step couple of times but it is always the same error.
Could you please share your expertise in how to over come the error.
    Thank you,
    Best Regards,
    Ajay

    Hi Ganesh,
    Thanks for your response.
SOAP and Mail scenario are also using the same inbound proxy structure , and the proxy is working fine in both cases.
For FTP scenario we are reusing the same inbound proxy but we are facing error .
    SAP is getting
"XML to ABAP Conversion error with error id as "CX_ST_MATCH_ELEMENT " System expected the element 'Namespace of the inbound service interface' .
    Please guide.
    Thanks,
    Ruchi

  • BPM Process does not show newly added task

I added a new task to my current BPM Process which has several tasks already built into it and they work when deployed. When I execute the workflow and get to that step, I get the following message: Details not available for this task. I am using jDeveloper 11.1.1.5. I created my page with ADF. I can see the pages for all the rest of the tasks in my process but not this newly added step. I have checked the source for this task against other tasks in the process and it looks the same. Does anyone have an idea what I might need to change or add in order to make this work?

If you're getting the Server 500 error and it is not an initiator task, what are you seeing at the bottom of your log file?
If you're getting the Server 500 error and it's an initiator task, then there is a trick to figuring out the real problem (close the dialog -> refresh the worklist -> select the work item at the bottom of the list). The initiator activity makes it necessary to do this additional step to see what the issue is.
    Hope this helps,
    Dan

  • BPM Automated Activity: Technical User vs Named User

    Hi Folks,
I've implemented a number of working BPM prototypes and now our customers are so interested they want us to implement a number of productive solutions for different process scenarios. Technically we all know that for the automated activity we can either use a logical destination or a service group which in both cases will mean a number of alternatives for authentication to the backend to execute the service operation in the automated activity. In our scenarios so far we have tested both approaches i.e. Service Group and Logical destination using a technical user for both cases (For SG, technical user in the physical system assigned to the SG)
My question is are you using a technical user to authenticate to the backend in either case or are you forwarding credentials of a named user involved in the specific process instance to be authenticated to the backend and in case of the latter how do you achieve this (apart from ensuring this user also exists in the backend)? The dilemma is if (by SAP agreement) we can use a technical user then what (apart from our ethics) stops us from only getting BPM licences and using a technical user(s) for most of our data maintenance transactions and by extension what prevents the same approach being used via non-SAP BPM tools (such as AquaLogic). I know there may be different arrangements specific to an organisation's license agreement and relationship with SAP but what is the general approach out there
    Thanks for sharing your feedabck

  • BRM Webservice call from BPM as an automated activity in CE 7.2

    Dear All,
A simple BRM ruleset is created and published as a webservice. The WSDL is available at NWA ->SOA Management-> Application and Scenario Communication-> Single Service Administration.
The webservice test in WSNAVIGATOR provides the expected results.
In the BPM process flow, an automated activity has been created for the webservice call. This activity contains the 'Service Interface' and 'Service Reference' of the imported WSDL.
    Issue:
When the process is started, the BRM webservice call results in error. The error is not visible in the log but the process flow shows a green symbol on the automatic activity, thereby indicating that the webservice call does not end and the process remains in 'In progress' state.
Can you please provide your inputs?
    Thanks,
    Pritish
