Automatic recovery Script in dlv_message table

Hi,
We have a BPEL Process A(Sync) that call the BPEL Process B(One-Way). We are having having this issue repeatedly in Production where the Messages are getting struck in dlv_message table(with state0 or state1 ). This is particularly occurring during the server crashes.  Although , we can do a Manual recovery of all the Faulted Instances from the em console, em console is responding quite slow during that time.
Do we have any script that we can use to do a recovery of all the instances that are roll backed or unhanded during that time.
If possible can you Please share the script. Your help is highly appreciated.

Hi
There are free guides on the Adobe web site which cover Acrobat and LC:

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/lc_migrating_acrobat_xmlform.pdf
And a very handy resource: http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/en/tips/CalcScripts.pdf
JP Terry's book on LC Forms is very good and we use www.pdfscripting (which is a subscription service).
Good luck

  • Database Recovery Scripts

    Does anyone have a set of database recovery scripts for various scenarios for 8i and 9i databases running on Windows 2000 and 2003?
    Cheers,
    Derek.

    >>
    We do a cold backup each night and have archive on. The scenarios are any that may occur i.e., media failure, dropped tables, lost control files etc.
    >>
    Hey Derek, the problem with cold backup is incase of media recovery required, you can't simply resotre the datafile/s which have/has problems. You need to restore complete database.
    Its difficult to have incomplete reocvery or point-in-time recovery having cold backups.
    I strongly recommend you start thinking about online backups. You need to assess your business requirements, and much you can efforts to loose?

  • How to get the script of a table or view in SQL Developer?

    Dear friends/expert,
    Could you tell me how to get the script for a view or a table easily in SQL Developer like pressing F4 in TOAD?
    I found that I can press SHIFT+F4 for a view in SQL Developer and get the script of the view in Details Tab. But how to move the script to SQL worksheet to edit? It is very easy to do in TOAD.
    And I didn't find a way to get the script for a table till now. Is there any way to do that?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Ning

    1. Although the team might put a lot of effort in keeping track on the forum, a lot of posts still go by without answer.
    2. If you have an enhancement request, log it at the announced SQL Developer Exchange, so others can vote to add weight on the issue. Be clear and detailed in the explanation.
    3. Given the structure of the application, I guess it won't be easy (maybe impossible) to add the functionality you are asking. Do you have a suggestion on how to access the info?
    4. If your request gets accepted, still another year or two may go by until the functionality gets added. For sure you'll be better off writing a user defined extension or report (querying DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL).
    Hope that helps,
    K.

  • Automatic copying row from one table into another one

    Hi,
    I am looking for some help on how to do the following:
    I use Number to track my finances. I have two tables - one for my checking account and the other one for my cash account. When I withdraw cash from my checking account I record a transfer or debit transaction in my checking account table (in the type column of this table I enter "transfer" and in the category column of this table I enter "cash account"); Obviously I have to record a matching transaction in my cash account where the category column shall read "checking account". Both records represent one and the same transaction. In order not to enter this transaction twice I would like to "automate" this process so that once I enter the transaction in either of the two table (checking or cash) the matching entry automatically appears in the other table. Is there any way to do this.
    Thank you,
    Evgeny

    You can use Connection#getMetaData() to retrieve information about the tables and the columns of the table.
    After all, it is better to gain information about the table first and then issue a query in the form of "INSERT INTO table1 SELECT * FROM table2", including the eventual column selections and/or data conversions at SQL level.

  • Shell script for online table redefinition

    Hi,
    Could someone help me out in building a script for online table redefinition in AIX 11g, moving the table into a new table space.
    Thanks

    You are embarking upon a voyage in which you will expend a substantial effort reinventing the wheel.
    Look at Oracle DBMS_REDEFINITION built-in package.
    http://www.morganslibrary.org/reference/pkgs/dbms_redefinition.html
    and never do something outside the database, in a proprietary language, that can be done far more efficiently inside the RDBMS in a platform independent language.
    In other words, inside the database, I could code your entire project with error handling, in far less than an 15 minutes including testing.
    With a simple DDL statement, issued at the command prompt in SQL*Plus ... I could do it in less than 15 seconds: Your choice.
    ALTER TABLE <table_name> MOVE TABLESPACE <new_tablespace_name>;

  • Why does unchecking the "use automatic configuration script" box on Internet Explorer 8 fix connectivity errors?

    As long as I have been in the job and we have been using IE as our browser, we have controlled the proxy settings with an automatic configuration file.
    Recently, with IE8 on WinXP and Win7, we have had situations with the user getting various connectivity errors. By unchecking the "use automatic configuration script" box, they start working. But we don't change anything else.
    These error are not consistent from machine to machine.
    We are in a AD Domain environment
    These are the two errors I have documented.
    Error: 5
    Description: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.
    Access to resrouce is forbidden by server while attempting to access server at
    http://content.mpl.org/cgi-bin/admin/pwtest.exe?CISOVER=60.
    Please check the permissions to the file on th eserver.
    Two very different problems. Both somehow fixed by unchecking the box.
    The config file itself has not been changed in over a year.
    Can anyone explain why unchecking this box, but not making any other changes to the proxy settings would fix connectivity problems? These are all external sites that need to go through the proxy.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    You can use the steps in the following thread to disable this option:
    uncheck "use automatic configuration script" in IE LAN settings

    Or try to
    reset Internet Explorer settings and select use automatic configuration script to see whether it could work.

  • Make a script for build table

    Hi everyone
    How to make a script for build table:

    Thanks
    Teetan

    Hi Teetan VK,
    Merry Chrismas.
    I'm not really an InDesign scripter.
    But you can try the following code:
    // TableCreate_simple.jsx
    // regards pixxxelschubser
    var aDoc = app.activeDocument;
    // your width of every column
    var w = Number(prompt("width of columns", 25));
    var NrOfColumns = 3;
    var aTextFrame = aDoc.textFrames.add({visibleBounds:[0, 0, 30, NrOfColumns*w + 1]});
    var aTable = aTextFrame.insertionPoints[0].tables.add({columnCount:NrOfColumns,bodyRowCount:1});
    for (i=0; i<aTable.columns.length; i++) {
    aTable.columns[i].width = w;
    // Paragraph sytyle with decimal aligning should already exists in your document
    for (j = 0; j < aTable.cells.length; j++) {
        aTable.cells[j].texts[0].appliedParagraphStyle = aDoc.paragraphStyles.item("AlignDecimal");
    Be sure, that a paragraph style (named with "AlignDecimal") exists in your Document.

  • Generate script for filling table

    Hi all,
    I've got table at test Oracle server table1 with columns ID, BTYPE, MYDESCRIPTION. Rows of this table have been inserted manually. Now my need is to write script for creating table (structure + data). I think about writing something like
    CREATE TABLE table 1
    AS
    SELECT 1 AS ID, 'TYPE1' AS BTYPE, 'SOME TEXT' AS MYDESCRIPTION
    UNION ALL
    SELECT 2 AS ID, 'TYPE2' AS BTYPE, 'SOME TEXT 2' AS MYDESCRIPTION
    But rows are too many to type... Could you please suggest some way of generating script for creating table at working server using existing table at test server? The problem is I don't have an access to working server.
    Thanks ahead.

    Use the view user_tab_cols
    say
    declare
    cursor c1 is
    select 'e_'||column_name ||' '||data_type||' ('||data_length||') ' col
      from user_tab_cols
      where table_name = 'DEPARTMENTS'
    union
    select 'd_'||column_name ||' '||data_type||' ('||data_length||') ' col
      from user_tab_cols
      where table_name = 'EMPLOYEES';
    v1 varchar2(500);
    begin
    v1 := 'create table new_tabl (';
    for i in c1 loop
    v1 := v1||i.col||',';
    end loop;
    v1 := substr(v1,1,length(v1)-1);
    dbms_output.put_line(v1||')');
    end;
    /i am using employees and departments table of hr schema.
    now as both the tables have some column column so i have used e for employees and d for departments
    just do one thing remove the length for date data type in o/p i dont know why it is not working.
    this will give you structure for data use any sql stmt

  • Use System Proxy Settings - when this is selected in FF v3.6.6, does it adhere to the same local IE proxy setting? We use a pac file configured in "Use automatic configuration script."

    Does anyone know what Firefox looks at locally on the PC when the "Use System Proxy Settings" setting is selected? It appears to be the default setting, recently changed from "No Proxy" of versions past...
    Our company uses a pac file specified in IE under "Use automatic configuration script" - with this new default, does it adhere to the same setting in:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]

    I may be wrong but I think that the "Use System Proxy Settings" makes sense only on Linux and generally speaking "other OSes". As far as I know there is no generic proxy settings in Windows operating system.
    The one I know is in the registry part of Internet Explorer.
    So in my understanding in Windows, Use System Proxy Settings = No Proxy

    DBMS_METADATA
    With DBMS_METADATA you can retrieve complete database object definitions (metadata) from the dictionary by specifying:
    The type of object, for example, tables, indexes, or procedures
    Optional selection criteria, such as owner or name
    Parse items (attributes of the returned objects that are to be parsed and returned separately).
    Optional transformations on the output. By default the output is represented in XML, but callers can specify transformations (into SQL DDL, for example), which are implemented by XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformation) stylesheets stored in the database or externally.
    DBMS_METADATA provides the following retrieval interfaces:
    For programmatic use: OPEN, SET_FILTER, SET_COUNT, GET_QUERY, SET_PARSE_ITEM, ADD_TRANSFORM, SET_TRANSFORM_PARAM, FETCH_xxx and CLOSE retrieve multiple objects.
    For use in SQL queries and for browsing: GET_XML and GET_DDL return metadata for a single named object. The GET_DEPENDENT_XML, GET_DEPENDENT_DDL, GET_GRANTED_XML, and GET_GRANTED_DDL interfaces return metadata for one or more dependent or granted objects.
    This chapter discusses the following topics:

    --COMMIT;
    DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line(rows || ' rows inserted.');
    -- Close the context
    DBMS_XMLSTORE.closeContext(insCtx);
    END;
    SELECT employee_id, LAST_name FROM employees WHERE employee_id = 114;

    rows := DBMS_XMLSTORE.updateXML(updCtx, xmlDoc); -- update the table
    DBMS_XMLSTORE.closeContext(updCtx); -- close the context
    commit;

    Nowi want little modification on this above query like as i am passing static XML tags and i want it to pick the dynamic XML from web and use the XMLSTORE for the update.
    and also for complex XML having 2-3 levels how this query needs to be changed.As i am new to this Oracle utillity any help from xepert will be a great help for me.
    Thanks

    Nowi want little modification on this above query like as i am passing static XML tags and i want it to pick the dynamic XML from webFrom a Web Service?
    You'll need UTL_HTTP or HttpUriType interface to send the request and receive the XML response.
    Search in the forum, there are already a lot of useful examples available.
    and also for complex XML having 2-3 levels how this query needs to be changed.DBMS_XMLStore is OK for readily processing a canonical XML format (/ROWSET/ROW/COLUMN structure or alike).
    However, if you have to deal with a more complex structure, you either have to :
    - use a target object table that matches the XML structure
    - preprocess the input document using XSLT to transform it to canonical format
    That's why DBMS_XMLStore is not appropriate for multilevel documents, especially if they contain nested repeating groups.
    In this case, XMLTable is a more flexible way of parsing the XML and process it relationally at the same time.
    Depending on the size of the document, performance may be improved with schema-based object-relational storage.
    For more help, please post a new thread in the {forum:id=34} forum, with the following information :
    - database version (select * from v$version)
    - a sample XML document (the complex one)
    - DDL of your target table
    - mapping between XML elements and columns (ie which tag goes to which column?)
    - an XML schema (if you have one)
