Automatic Return processing

How automatic Return processing is done?
please can any explain step by step....

Kenstar

Re: Use of External Payment Collectors
you need to replace RFKKZEDG/RFKKZEDA with RFKKRLDG/RFKKRLDA respectively. Use FPB5 to process the lot and FPB6 to process the errors.
Hope this helps.

  • Automatic Row Processing (DML) - Return Key Into Item

    Hello,
This question is on Apex 4.2:
I'm Displaying the [UNIKEY] column value after the record is inserted into the table using :
page process > process row table_name > Source: Automatic Row Processing (DML) > Return Key Into Item > "Item Name"
This works fine while inserting records, my question is why this does not respond on update / delete ?

    Check your branches.
What might be happening is that on insert and update an other branch is followed.
Where the branch of the insert either isn't clearing the cache of the page or is setting the item with it's own value.
The branch on the update on the other hand is clearing the cache of the page and not setting the item.
With a delete there is a clear cache process generate by the wizard. Check if this process is only running on the delete and not on the update.
From memory the process is called something with reset.
If the above doesn't help try to replicate the problem on apex.oracle.com and give access with a guest developer account so we can have a look.

  • Are 'read only' items causing my automatic row processing to fail?

I have a form that uses automatic row processing to update my table.
I recently had to add a check to lock down the fields using the read only condition where a record has been 'approved'. So, I turned off all of the fields and hid the update button.
Now they want me to check to see if the user is a manager, and if so, allow them to see the update button, and make a single field on the form modifiable.
I have the user identified as a manager, and can make the field accept the change (a yes/no combo box). Yet when they click the update button, the form just sits there. A branch is supposed to fire on hitting that button, taking them back to the previous report, but it doesn't happen. The source of the combo box in question uses a column on the table, and works fine when the form has all of the fields showing for modification.
I had some validations that I finally set to never fire, thinking that they were failing and just not giving the error messages. I know a bad sql or pl/sql atatement in a validation will cause the form to just keep sitting there doing nothing, and thought it might help.
Several of the various fields are combo boxes, several are text boxes.
    I'm stumped.
Shall I keep the regular update button hidden whether it is a manager or not (because it has been 'approved'), and enable a new button that fires off a process to update the one field that the manager may want to change? Does making a field 'read only' always have a detrimental effect on the auto processes I've been counting on? Is that if fact what is happening now?
Thanks in advance for any advice or comments on this.

    Hi, Scott.
    My version is 3.0.0.00.20
I have received info to set up the application, though I have not activated it as yet. I'm reluctant to try to load up the various tables to make it work. It could be done.
My workaround is to that the user (a manager) fires off to another form to show an individual record, and ask if he/she really wants to make this change. On submit, they will be taken back to the original locked down form, and I will update the single field in that process of returning them. This will actually be a plus, in that I expect to show them all of the 'duplicate' entries for that item, and show them that by 'activating' this particular item, they will 'deactivate' the one duplicate that is currently active. Or, if they are deactivating the sole item that is active, that there will in fact be no active items in the system. Convoluted as heck, but they swear this is how they've been doing business with their briefcases and file cabinets of Excel files. I'm surprise they even float at this point (these are ships we're talking about).
This all may be due to the form originally having a next/previous/count process once arrived at my clicking on the edit button of the report of items. All of that has been hidden away, and though the fields exist of the form, they are not used. They only see the current item that they clicked on from the report.
I read up a little on session state, as well as posts with the debug error I was getting. I'm still not on board with the whole issue of 'state'. Items stay as they are until they're changed, no? I suppose that sounds simplistic.
One of the things that caught my eye was several combo box lists that on read only mode, showed [] square brackets. Which, in some cases is okay.
What I'll try to do is set up a public application - for future use if nothing else. I'm going to be working on this for awhile. I have more than a bit of work to do to cleanse the data as well as get rid of the single sign on requirement (I'll assume that I should have to do this) in order to share the app.
I know you're expecting me to have this up and running for you to look at, but I'm under the gun. And they actually like my workaround.
I'll keep everybody informed, one way or another.

  • Adding a new field to an Automatic Row Processing form

    Hi,
I have a form that I built through the form Wizard which has an automatic row processing function. It is working very well, except that any new fields I add to the form are not being updated in the database when the row is processed. I have set up the field exactly the same as other fields which are working and were originaly created by the wizard. I have deleted and recreated the row processing Page Process, but nothing seems to make it work. Have I missed anything? I don't want to recreate my page from scratch each time I want to add a new field.
    Thanks,
    Steve

if you're positive that your new fields/columns update correctly when you use Text Field items and not when you use Select List ones, i'd check to see what your select lists are returning. a good way to see exactly what your form got from your select list items is to check the session state for your select list items right after you submit your page (clicking the "Session" link in your developer toolbar in your runtime environment is a good way to get to this info). also, even though you said your added Text Fields work and your Select Lists don't, i'd still check the "Source Type" and "Source value or expression" fields of your select list items to make sure they're set correctly. for form items to work with your table in htmldb auto-dml processing, you need to set the "Source Type" to "Database Column" and the "Source value or expression" to the case-sensitive name of your db column.
    hope this helps,

  • Free of goods should not come in return process

Dear sd gurus Have a good day
i have one requirement regarding free of goods suppose if we already given free of goods with main item like 10 pens 1 pen is free( 10 +1)
generally when we do return process for particular document ( return order, return delivery, pgr, return billing)   free goods also will come automatically returns  but my requirement is only main item only should come in return process  not free of goods.bz after taking main item in return process due to damaged goods ,here only main item only should come not free of goods
how i can achieve this ?
    thank you

    Venu,
I did some searching in copy control (IMG), in view of your business requirement.
    In connection to my earlier post, "re-determination of Free goods" in RE order type;
when RE order is created with reference to OR
In VTAF, see item level TANN, copy control 302: Do not copy
Here the free goods are not copied. Only goods with item category other than TANN are copied from billing document to RE order.
Then if free goods determination is done afresh in RE order. If there is no free goods procedure assigned to RE sales document type, then no free goods are populated in RE order.
I haven't tested this, you could test this and see if it meets your business requirement.
From SAP, F1 help for copy requirement 302:
In this requirement, any items that have this requirement assigned will not be copied into the target document.
    Example
When using product selection, it is advisable that only the main item be allowed to be copied from document to document, and the sub-item should be re-determined in the target document based on the current availability situation. In order to implement this, the item category of the sub-item can have this copy routine assigned to it in order to prevent the copying of these items.

  • Automatic Row Processing?

    Hi,

  • Third Party Sales Returns process

    Hello All
We have a third-party sales process which is automated i.e Sales order and Purchase requisitions(VA01) are created using the data coming in the incoming EDI file, the Purchase requisition is automatically converted to a Purchase order, the Invoice Reciept(MIRO) is posted and the Sales Invoice (VF01) is posted.
The question is how do we handle the Returns or the Credit process?
Is there a way I can configure the system to create a Returns order which will also update the Pur.Req quantity then the Purchase order quantity  or directly the Purchase order quantity. I can then use this information to raise a credit to the Vendor Invoice.
I don't want to just raise a credit memo and update the sales side and leave the purchase side open.
    I appreciate your reply.
    Best Regards
    Rama

    Third Party Return Process
Please check this extract from the sap library :
If the vendor grants you a credit memo on a quantity or a value basis, you can then send this credit memo directly to your customer.
The billing type Third-party credit memo (G2S) is available for this. The billing type Third-party credit memo works with the item category TASG (third-party credit memo item). The Billing-relevance indicator F is set in Customizing for Sales for this item category. This means that the cost is not created. In Customizing for Sales, the item category TASG is set at item level in copying control for the billing type G2S (copying control sales document by billing document) as the target item category (source: TAS-> Target:> TASG.)
    Process Flow
Create a billing documente with billing type Third-party credit memo (for further information, see the section Creating a billing document in the Billing document). Enter the third-party order as a document still to be processed. The quantities are automatically removed from the invoice.
The above is the process for giving a credit memo which can be adapted for return goods.

  • Automatic Row Processing (Update not running)

I have an Automatic Row Processing routine that returns the success message, but it never performs the updates.
I Put a special message in the Process Success and Failure Messages and the Success message comes up everytime with no database updates happening.
I changed the table name to a table that DOESN'T exists just to see if the failure message appears and I still get the Process Success Message.
Any ideas why the DML say's it's success when it's not doing anything?

Edited by: spuchc on Jun 4, 2010 7:48 AM

That doesn't appear to be the issue.
When I update the data for the of views on the page they work fine and have specific button names.
Also I've tried used PL/SQL Expression instead of button controls to fire the DML and it does fire.
Since it's not generating the update statement (when I look in V$SQL), why would APEX even given me back a "Success" message?
Also when I change the view name in the DML process to a bogus name, it still tells me "Success".
I'm going to look at calling my backend API's directly without the Apex DML because I've tried everything I know and it's just this one view that won't updated.

  • Automatic row processing in a validation

    Hi,
I have a form on a table (page11) with one process for automatic row processing and I have the buttons Submit and Create.
I have another button f.e. BUTTON_NEW. I have a validation (function returning error text) with "BUTTON_NEW" as When-Button-pressed-Condition. In the validation I did an Insert into another table.
I changed values of items on Page11 and don't press Submit. And then I press "BUTTON_NEW". The validation on BUTTON_NEW works fine. But the changed values are lost. Is there a possibility for an automatic "Submit" or "Create" when BUTTON_NEW is pressed?
    Thanks, Daniela

    Hi,
these are the values I currently see:
108 14 P14_SELECTEDSS Display as Text (escape special characters, does not save state) No
108 14 P14_CHARACTERISTIC_ID Hidden and Protected Reset to Null No
    108 14 P14_SHAREDSERVICE_ID Text Field 30 Inserted No
    108 14 P14_CAPTION Text Field No
    108 14 P14_CATEGORY_ID Select List No
    108 14 P14_WEIGHING Text Field No
    108 14 P14_DESCRIPTION Textarea No
I also have to say that I deleted the computations I created earlier again cause they did not work and I had the same values for these variables. I am trying to (pre)set P14_SHAREDSEVICE_ID to P13_SELSS when I click the create button on page 13.
    Thanks again,

  • Automatic ROW Processing error after changing Schema

    Hello all,
I have an APEX 3.0 application referencing tables on a different schema from the parsing schema.
    Workspace A -> using parsing schema A1
    Application A -> installed in Workspace A
Application A -> access tables in schema A2 from schema A1, through synonyms
    All is working fine.
Then I had to duplicate the application (let me say: to have a test environment).
So, I created a Workspace B, a parsing schema B1, I've installed application A as application B in workspace B, and I've created schema B2 and I gave the grants to schema B1.
Application B is running fine when trying to access objects on the parsing schema B1, but it returns a lot of errors when accessing objects on schema B2, in particular on Automatic Row Processing and Automated Row Fetch processes. The error I'm getting vary from ORA-942 (table or view doesn't exist) to ORA-936 (missing expression).
A strange thing is that in Automatic Row Processing and Automated Row Fetch processes, I can choose only schema A1 as Table Owner, and all is working fine.
In application B, I can select as Table Owner also the schema B2, even if it's not associated to the workspace. By doing this something works better. But I don't want to modify every page in the application where this happens. Also because I want the opportunity to maintain only one application.
I think that the application installed in workspace B, still tries to access objects in schema A2, but I don't know why.
    Do you have any suggestion?
    Thanks.
    Andrea

    It returns these results:
    WORKSPACE     APPLICATION_ID     APPLICATION_NAME     PAGE_ID     PROCESS_SOURCE
    WS_DEMO     107     myappname     73160     F|&FETCH_SCHEMA.:CDW_LST_GRP:P73160_LTG_ID:LTG_ID
    WS_DEMO     107     myappname     73160     &FETCH_SCHEMA.:CDW_LST_GRP:P73160_LTG_ID:LTG_ID|IUD
The query returns the same results in PROCESS_SOURCE columns, when ran from workspace A or B.
I've found that FETCH_SCHEMA is an "application definition", and I've setup correctly in workspace B. The problem persists.
    Bye,
    Andrea

  • Returns Process - movement type 161 and 122

When I do returns process with help of movement type 122 then it picks stock from "blocked stock". But when I do it from movement type 161, it does not pick it from blocked stock. I have checked transaction OMJJ and found no major difference in settings.
I want to pick the stock from blocked stock from returns process. Please let me know the setting?

    hi
    Steps are as follows
    1. Create return purchase order
The return purchase order is exactly the same as standard purchase order except the return flag. Go to transaction ME21N and enter orgnization info, material, vendor and tick the return flag.
    2. Review requirements
Reviewing stock requirements will help determine timing/urgency for allowing normal process to replenish returned items or whether a PO must be created immediately. Go to transaction MD04, the new created return PO is listed as an MRP element.
    3. Create delivery document for Return PO
This step is executed by warehouse clerk and generate delivery note, transfer order for return PO. Go to transaction VL10B and choose create delivery in background. The delivery doc will be created automatically.
    4. Picking Confirmation
If the storage location is managed by warehouse, an open transfer order is also created. You need to confirm transfer order before posting good issue. There are two methods to confirm transfer order. Go to transaction LT21 and choose Transfer Order -> Confirm -> Transfer Order. The other method is VL06. On the Delivery Monitor screen, select For Confirmation button. Choose confirm in the background.
    5. Post Goods Issue
Go to transaction VL02N, enter delivery number and press Enter key. On the next screen, choose Post Goods Issue button. After the good issue has been posted, the quantity of stock has been decreased. The return MRP element in step 2 is also removed in MD04.
    6. Manual Review of Pending Credits
Go transaction ME2L, enter plant, purchasing organization and choose RECHNUNG for Selection parameters. A list of open invoices including a list of items where the invoiced quantity is less than zero (Credit return) is reviewed.
    7. Create Credit Memo
Create a credit memo to vendor which relieves the liability to the vendor. Go to transaction MIRO and enter necessary information to create a credit memo. You can choose simualte button to check whether the error messages exist in the credit memo.

  • Automatic returns movement

    Hi,
We need to automate the  returns process. Our client has a non sap returns application. This application has all the details of the returns goods. The application  output is a flat file.
The client has also SAP installed. In SAP we need to create Through  the above flat file we need to create a  Post a goods movement only. The goods movement will  put the stock in blocked stock.
We have  been told to use batch input in SAP. My questions are :-
    1) Is batch input same as BDC ? If yes, then we will  record the goods movement T code and then we will use the flat file to post the different returns materials.
    2) We do not want to do the step one manually. We do not want to manually run the BDC. We want to automate the process. that is as and when the non sap system send a flat file. The BDC/Batch input gets activated automatcially and create the goods movement. How to do this ?

  • Consignment Return Process

    Hi Experts,
While executing consignment return process I noticed that the respective items are directed to unrestricted location....my reservation is when I am placing a consignment return order with order reason as demage it should either get placed in restricted stock or inspection stock...how actually it works?.....either we should manually direct the stock to restricted or automatically it should happen?.......634 vis the movement type its showing.........assistance required.....Thanks in advance

See, all the sch line suggested are 'Z' Sch line cat in VOV6.
Z are user created which differentiate it from Standard, that means you have to create these 3 sch line and you can take reference of standard sch line for this, say, DN - Consignment Returns.
Copy DN and to create Z Sch line  ZS2 & ZSC3.
maintain movement type in those sch line, say,
    ZS2 - 655
    ZS3 - 651
Determine the same in Tcode VOV5
    Against I Cat KRN maintain
    Item category KRN
    MRP Type
    PropSchdLneCat. D0
    ManSchedLineCat. ZS2
    ManSchedLineCat. ZS3
Now, at item level in the sale order by default the sch line will be DN. So, movement of goods to Quality stock  manually change your sch line from DN to ZS2 or ZS3 for movement of goods to restricted return stock.
Hope this time its clear to you.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Return process for security deposites

    hi,
Experts can u help in return process for security depsoites with flow and t.codes
    thx & regards
    surya

    Hello,
Use FPSEC1 to post a security deposit.
It is only a statistical posting. You can use one of the payment options <FP05,FPB0(not visible in newer versions),FPCD,FPCJ> to post Real payment. If the Security deposit amount does not become Real posting, suggest you to post 'On account payment' and then set off manually to make it Real posting.
You can return the Real security deposit using Refund options <FPTCRPO-->FPY1>.
For automatic refund of Security deposit during move-out you need to enhance an event <I do not have an active ISU system with me now>
    Hope this helps
