Automatic video sync with Ipod

My downloadet (and podcast downloadet) quicktime.mov files doesn't automtic convert to my Ipod. (the mark is checked in preferences). I have more than 200 .mov files in Itunes and it is horrible to do this manually. Is there a way to do it automaticly?
If a mark all videos and convert them, anyone knows what happens to the ones that is allready converted?

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the current copies from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

I am having the same issues with my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 not mounting within iTunes every since the iTunes update. I know my USB is working but this is crazy. I had a thought and redowned the updater 10.6.8 thinking it was a bad install still the same issues. Sorry I couldn't help. I am also looking for the answers.

All the apps state they are compatible w/ my model iPod Touch. No restrictions are set that would prevent syncing. Seems like I might have had a similar problem a while back with one app but can't recall the solution -- it was something simple.

I rented movies in itunes and they will not sync with ipod. They show u in library as rental but i am unable to get them into ipod

There's phone support for iPods and they might be able to help you with iTunes or at least point you in the right direction.

- Try directly downloading it on the iPod. To not get charged again see:

- You can also delete it form iTunes and then redownload (see link above) and try resyncing.

Video podcasts no longer sync with iPod Touch

I am using latest version of iTunes 10.1.1 (4) and latest os 10.6.5 on MacBook Pro with iPod Touch (gen 3). I subscribe to a video podcast and in beginning it worked, but for last 2 months though they download into iTunes and I can watch them, they are either not syncing to my iPod or I cannot find them. Before they were in Podcast list along with audio podcasts.

Yeah I noticed some videos we'rent syncing to my iPod 5th Gen now that I switched to Mac, and reformatted my iPod, and was reminded that some items wouldn't transfer. These were certain podcasts, as well as a HD TV Show Episode. (I thought HD TV show purchases came with a SD version for iPod, but maybe it got lost in the transfer or I deleted it sometime)....but WHATEVER:
If you want, you can convert any video file to a format that fits iPod/iPhone, or even iPad/Apple TV, here's how:
Select the video item(s) you wish to make a compressed version for, and click ADVANCED on the menu bar. Then select "Create iPod/iPhone Version" or "Create iPad/Apple TV Version" depending on what you are syncing too. If these options are greyed out, it means it is not necessary to do this as those devices already can support the file as is. iTunes will then convert, and presto, you have a copy which will go onto your device!

Quicktime video clips won't sync with ipod

Hi I've been trying to get some of the quicktime video clips I have to sync with my ipod but it says it can't because it can't play the clips on ipod. I've done it before but that was so long ago I have forgotten how to do it. So can anyone help me out here? Thanks in advance!

Try right clicking on the videos in iTunes and selecting "convert selection for iPod".

I just ripped a movie that I want to sync to my iPod. It is in .mp4 format, but it won't sync autmatically, and if I set it to manual and try to drag and drop the video to the iPod nothing happens...

Hi Helpful people,
Sorry to ask the same question as a lot of others but nothing seems to be working.
I have a 60GB iPod classic and I'm running iTunes 10.6.1.7
iTunes detects my iPod device.
In the iPod summary I have open iTunes when iPod is connected ticjed and sync only ticked songs and videos ticked.
I have tried sync'ing like this and with both unticked.
I have triied sync'ing from this page and also the File drop down.
The best I have achieved so for is it saying it is sync'ing but I don't get the usual message at the top of sync'ing 1 of 5226 or whatever that I used to.
Any tips from cyberspace?

Syncing with iPod

why don't my audio books purchased from Audible.Com sync with my iPod (30GB - purchased around 2009), they sync with my iPhone 4S and iPad mini without a problem

You probably need to set up automatic syncing of audiobooks on that iPod.
In iTunes, if the sidebar (along left side of iTunes window) is hidden, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. In the sidebar, the iPod appears under DEVICES, when it is connected.
Select the iPod in iTunes. There is a row of buttons, starting with Summary. Click on Audiobooks (or Books) there, on that row. This is the iPod's Audiobooks screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync audiobooks to the iPod.
NOTE: When you set up automatic syncing for audiobooks, you also need to be using automatic syncing for music (and the other iTunes media types). If the iPod is currently set up to Manually manage music and videos, and there are songs (and other content) on the iPod that are NOT in your computer's iTunes library, you do not want to set it to automatic syncing now. Please post back.
On the iPod's Audiobooks screen, check the box for Sync Audiobooks. You can choose to sync All audiobooks, or Selected audiobooks (with the selections made below). When you click Apply, your selection is synced to the iPod.
