- Try directly downloading it on the iPod. To not get charged again see:

- You can also delete it form iTunes and then redownload (see link above) and try resyncing.

Now it's stuck with the progress bar less than a quarter full. I have also tried resetting through itunes which works right up to the point where itunes states that it needs the passcode to be inputted into the ipad to connect to it. Well the term "hotlined" I have never heard before. In any case many states (like NY) just passed regulatory powers to the State Public Service Commission of which it may be called something different in your state. You could file a complaint with them. Or file a complaint with your state attorney generals office, they also take on wireless providers.
The problem here is the staff you speak to are poorly trained, in days gone by it took one call to them and they pulled up your account and see the error and had the authority to remove any errors. They did not remove legitimate account actions, but used their heads instead of putting a customer off or worse lying to the customer.
Its a shame you have to go through what you going through.

I recently bought the i pod touch 4 and noticed that not all of my songs transferred over from my i tunes library-The songs that didn't, say original file cannot be found, when clicked. What should I do? I tried using the tips on this site, but they weren't too helpful...I downloaded the songs from cd's and purchased them from i tunes.
Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!I doubt that your music files are gone. Do a spotlight search and look for The Cure. What likely happened is that for whatever reason, your iTunes lost track of the location of your songs.. which happens on occasion.
What you need to do is go to the folder where your music library is - where the song files are - and check to see if they are there. If so, then go into your iTunes preferences and in the 'Advanced' pane put in the location of the folder where it says 'iTunes Media folder location'. iTunes should then be able to 'see' the songs again.

Connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. that is what the screen is telling you to do.

What are the electrical specs of the car charger? The Apple wall charger is rated at 5V and 2A. If the car charger does not output 2A @5V, you'll get the not charging message. However, it will still charge, but very slowly.

Well as I said in the "question", I did a reset of the settings on my IPad2. however when it powered back on from resetting. it lets the the logo screen with the progress bar under it. The progress bar gets about 1/4 of an inch from the left then stops. After a few mins Ipad shuts off then turns on to the logo screen, then goes to the logo/progress bar screen, does whats said above, then off. That cycle just repeats over and over. Any help with this would be appreciated.

so i downlaoded the iOS 7 onto my iTunes. then i wanted to upgrade. the phone is stuck in the black screen with the white apple and the progress bar. next time i click on iTunes, it says my phone "has an error and cnanot update" and now it is stuck on the black screen with the white apple and the progress bar almost finished. hasn't moved in 20 minutes.

Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine. -

I've just signed up to iTunes Match as I have songs on my iPhone 4 which wont sync with iTunes as they are from CDs but I can't see my music in the cloud now. Anyone had the same problem and have an easy fix?
What fixed it for me:
On your computer, open iTunes > My iPhone (or whatever name you gave your iPhone) > "Music" page
Uncheck "Sync Music"
Click "Sync" button (bottom right)
Let it run and finish
Uncheck the box for every song, playlist, etc.
Click "Sync" button (bottom right) (This step may be unnecessary, but I did it and got the result I wanted.)
Let it run and finish
Check the boxes for the music you want on your iPhone
Click "Sync" button (bottom right)
Let it run and finish
See if that doesn't work for you. I tried a lot of things that did nothing, but this seems to have fixed it, and quickly. -
Hi, I upgraded my girlfriend's iPad 2 using my iMac, however, her iPad was sync with her PC. Although I've made backup earlier, when I restore from backup the apps doesn't sync back, neither her documents on pages. How can I put then back to her iPad?
The backup saves many settings, but it copies photos and other files from the computer back to the iPad after IOS5 wipes the disk. Plugging it into her computer will re-sync it.

Are your tracks pat of a collection? Different artists, but still one album? Then mark them a s acollection or set the album artist. See this guide on how to group separate tracks into albums:

Hi, I can't seem to get my ipod 32gb 4th gen to sync with itunes. It's brand new, but everytime I plug it in it says can't access Itunes store and nothing else happens. I enabled my firewall to allow itunes but it still can't access the store. Please help.
If you look at the feed, and look at the entry 'The end to an exciting field season in Aulavik National Park' you will see the line:

You have not closed the 'pubdate' tag - there should be a '>' as the 9th character. Because the tag has been left open, it invalidates everything which follows it, and thus the entire feed. iTunes therefore cannot read it, which is why the Store has not updated. Add the '>' and republish, and all should be well.
It's always worth checking your feed by subscribing manually, from the 'Advanced' menu, or by clicking the 'subscribe free' button on the Store page (both do the same thing) - if you can subscribe to the feed it should be OK. -
My first generation AppleTV will not sync with iTunes anymore. I get an error message that says: "The Apple TV is not responding Check that any firewall software running on this comptuter has been set to allow communication on port 3689" firewall is turned off.. Any ideas?

I will try with ethernet but will be a pain in the butt if i can not fix it with wifi for long term fix
I may end up trying to do a named IP address vs DHCP for this appleTV (not sure if i can do both and do not want to remove DHCP as i have a bunch of sensors and other devices that I prefer to dynamically add to the network via DHCP vs. assign each one
Will keep working on other fix options (factory reset, etc.)
