Automatically jump to frame

I'm trying to get my flash movie to play a movieclip and then
automatically jump to another frame without clicking a button. Is
that possible?

So, with that code:
If there is a stop(); on the action layer in the last frame
of the movie clip, then the movie clip plays but doesn't
automatically jump to the frame (box_frame) I'd like it to when
it's done playing.
If there is not a stop(): on the movie clip, then the movie
clip keeps repeating and still doesn't automatically jump to the
frame (box_frame) I'd like it to when it's done playing.
Does that make sense? Thank you again so much for taking the

After Effects jumps some frames when i use "time reversal layer"

i'm editing a stop-motion video. i have a big problem that with AEcs5 i never had.
when i use "time reversal layer" with some image sequence layer (but also with a .mov with alpha) AE become crazy:
sometimes he erase (or jump) some frames, sometimes he put frames from other image sequence that i didn' put in the timeline!!
if u see the image there is nothing here, and appears an image that i didn't put there!!

Brush tool automatically jumps when near window edge

Our company is migrating from CS1 to CS3 (finally!). We found a curious issue with the brush tool in Photoshop: in CS1, when you click near the edge of your open file window, it just draws to that point - and stops. That's it. In CS3, when you click near the edge of your open file window, it automatically jumps out / scrolls the window in the direction in which your line is traveling. Is there a way to disable this function?

Have the same problem. Happens with erasure tool as well.
Get near the edge and it jumps/scrolls quickly to the edge of the window/bounding box/canvas. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING and stupid idea.
How does one disable this function or reset the tolerance, whatever? If you do know please reply to this forum.

Cursor automatically jumps to end to text when clicking inside and online form

When I type text in an online form like the one I am using to post this question and I want to go back and edit my text I click on the text/line I want to edit in the online form but my cursor automatically jumps to the very end of the text.
Is there a setting I can change to stop this from happening?

the best way to test is to remove OnKeyUp="this.value=this.value.toUpperCase();" and then check whether you still have the problem
strange that the problem is there even when you replace OnKeyUp with onChange because the function should not be executed until the change is complete. also replace OnKeyUp with onBlur

Give the FLVPlayback component instance name "player" and
place the following action on the timeline frame:

Automatic jump to previous screen when an arrow on left appears

There is an arrow (left hand side of screen, mid way down) that keeps popping up randomly. When it appears it causes my email screen or on-line screen to jump back to the previous screen. Does anyone have any ideas what this is all about? It is a pain, as it sometimes causes me to loose data, or is time consuming.

I checked out all the trackpad gestures, but nothing seems to make sense as to why my screen keeps doing what it is doing.
I think that this "automatic, jumping screen" happens when the Launchpad icon at the bottom of my screen, moves. ?????

I am working with stacked sequence structures. I would like to have a condition in some of the frames, such that if the condition is false, the sequence proceeds normally, and if the condition is true, the sequence jumps to a certain frame. Is this possible?

Is QuickTime Pro able to be programmed in any way to make it so when a vidoe frame is reached it will automatically jump to another frame or a previously marked chapter?

I currently create interactive videos with Flash that use live person video to ask the viewer questions and allows the viewer to click an answer.
Depending on "right" or "wrong" the playhead jumps to the appropriate point in the video (all held on local PC not web) to either say "Well done" or "Sorry that's wrong because...". Then it jumps again to the next question in the video - and repeats.
This video can then be inserted in PC's PowerPoint.
Now.. a client wants the same thing but to work in keynotes. So No Flash and No Powerpoint.
Part of the QTPro7 new features says it can be controlled with scripts? I can't find anything to show how or what can be done with this?
So my question - is can the functionality I have in Flash be created in QTPro with some form of script?
I know I can create something like it in keynotes using individual clips - but the mention of controlling QTpro with scripts has got me hoping there is a way to treat it like Flash????

Can I open a new tab but stay on my current tab instead of automatically jumping to the new one?

In the older version of Firefox, when I opened a new tab, it would not jump to it but rather remain on my current tab. I've tried safe mode and it wasn't any of my add-ons that are the problem and I haven't selected the option of automatically switching to new tabs either. Is there any way of getting Firefox 4 to remain on my current tab when I'm opening a new tab? Thank you.

Remove the checkmark from the box which says: "'''When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately'''".

When reflow text; How to change paragraph automatically when changing frame

Im new to indesign scripts, but thought that this maybe was the right forum to ask the following question. (Im using Adobe Indesign CS.5 )
Im currently trying to import a file (word file / excel both is possible) into an indesign book and formatting the text automatically!
My question is: How is it possible to reflow text into frames and when changing frame it changes paragraph?
I have already figured out how to reflow the text, and actually also managed to relow text into the frames and change paragraph style. I know how to use the keep option, and by this change the paragraph style when e.g. changing frame break/page break etc. (but if the content being flowed-in is not tagged with style names then I cannot figure out how to do it)
The document and its content I whish to import do not have any tagged paragraphs!
If any of you have a hint, I would be more than happy to hear from you

Why does every other click jump one frame wrong?

Hi, my name's nicole and I am having difficulty with a simple
flash portfolio.
I have six button symbols on scene 1 of a flash document.
Each button is associated with ActionScript 3.0 to jump to one of
six frames in scene one. What's strange is when you are say on the
home page and click the home page the button makes you jump just
one frame forward in the animation. I've used this code before and

If each of these pages are one frame apart from each other,
then you are better off using gotoAndStop().
If you gotoAndPlay() the same frame you're already in, it
doesn't go anywhere so it will play from the frame your in because
any stop() that may be in the frame is already used up. It's a
confusing thing to explain, so hopefully you get it... the goto is
gone to already, and with nothing to stop it, it will play.
