Axis deployment endpoint

Hi,
I had created a .wsdd file and use AdminClient to deploy the webservice on my web server. The problem is that after deployment i could not get the wsdl endpoint address to point to my web server's domain hostname(e.g. www.domain.com:8080), it always generate the host 'localhost'.
I had tried
java -cp %axisclasspath%;. org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient -lhttp://www.domain.com:8080/axis/services/MyService deploy.wsdd
but it gave me "(401)unauthorized". Am i missing something? Had been experimenting and searching for clues but in vain.. How do you change the endpoint?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Stanly

Your command is probably correct but the AdminService doesn't (by default) allow remote administration of web services.
If you need remote access to the AdminService you have to change the configuration in your server-config.wsdl in the webapp. See http://ws.apache.org/axis/java/user-guide.html under the section "Remote Administration" for a description on what to change.
BTW, the server-config.wsdl was not present in WEB-INF in the distribution that I used (axis 1.0) so I had to manually exctract the file from the axis.jar and place it under WEB-INF.

  • Deploy Endpoint Protection while using another AntiVirus application?

    Dear friends
    I'm configuring SCCM 2012R2 in our network,my question is Do I need to deploy Endpoint Protection to clients while we using Kaspersky Endpoint Security in the perimeter ,actually I installed SCEP but not sure if there is any Conflict between these two programs,or
    any advantage might it have...?!
    Thanks
    Reza Hadad

    HI,
    I wouldn't use two anti-viruses as a permanent solution. I have used two at the same time during migration scenarios, installting SCEP, when it reports back that it is installed succesfully, put it in a a collection and uninstall the old Antivirus.
    I have done it this way a couple of times and I haven't had any co-existence problems.

  • Problem with Axis Adapter endpoint url in WSDL file.

    Dear experts,
    We are using PI 7.1 ehp1 with a SOAP to RFC scenarios using the Axis adapter.
    We have the XIAxisAdapter as sender Communication Channel and the related Sender Agreement.
    When i am looking into the WSDL file of the Sender Agreement than the endpoint contains ...location="host:port/ XISOAPAdapter /MessageServlet"... in stead of ...location="host:port/ XIAxisAdapter /MessageServlet"...
    The url with "XISOAPAdapter " will not work. When i export the WSDL file and manually adjust the location to "XIAxisAdapter " everything works fine.
    Is it possible to directly generate a correct WSDL with calling the url http://host:50000/dir/wsdl?p=xxxx?
    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Joost Weghorst

    Hi Sonya,
    You can use configuration plan while deploying composite.
    The configuration plan enables you to define the URL and property values to use in different environments. During process deployment, the configuration plan is used to search the SOA project for values that must be replaced to adapt the project to the next target environment.
    Please refer this doc. for getting introduced to config plan.
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29542_01/dev.1111/e10224/sca_lifecycle.htm#SOASE10908
    To deploy soa composite with config plan refer this doc:

    Can anyone tell me the reason and suggest .

    Hi Marc,
    Thanks for the guidancer. But sir, i am unable to detect at which place i have to do the required changes.I found p_request as a parameter in the method only in the interface only.
    As bcos ultimately , i am generating the tomcat /axis web service (WSDL) from the java class, which is using 2 Request and response java bean, in which they are doing someing like this:
    private static org.apache.axis.description.TypeDesc typeDesc =
    new org.apache.axis.description.TypeDesc(LoanDataPersistRequest.class, true);
    static {
    typeDesc.setXmlType(new javax.xml.namespace.QName("http://dtos.demo.com", "LoanDataPersistRequest"));
    org.apache.axis.description.ElementDesc elemField = new org.apache.axis.description.ElementDesc();
    elemField.setFieldName("customerName");
    elemField.setXmlName(new javax.xml.namespace.QName("", "customerName"));
    elemField.setXmlType(new javax.xml.namespace.QName("", "string"));
    elemField.setNillable(true);
    etc etc...................}
    And second thing is when the WSDL is generated, from that the stubs and skeletons is generated to test the service.
    There in the Stub i found out "p_request" in this place:
    private static void _initOperationDesc1(){
    org.apache.axis.description.OperationDesc oper;
    org.apache.axis.description.ParameterDesc param;
    oper = new org.apache.axis.description.OperationDesc();
    oper.setName("storeLoanData");
    param = new org.apache.axis.description.ParameterDesc(*new javax.xml.namespace.QName("", "p_request")*, org.apache.axis.description.ParameterDesc.IN, new javax.xml.namespace.QName("http://dtos.demo.com", "LoanDataPersistRequest"), com.demo.dtos.LoanDataPersistRequest.class, false, false);
    oper.addParameter(param);
    oper.setReturnType(new javax.xml.namespace.QName("http://dtos.demo.com", "LoanDataPersistResponse"));
    oper.setReturnClass(com.demo.dtos.LoanDataPersistResponse.class);
    oper.setReturnQName(new javax.xml.namespace.QName("", "storeLoanDataReturn"));
    oper.setStyle(org.apache.axis.constants.Style.RPC);
    oper.setUse(org.apache.axis.constants.Use.ENCODED);
    _operations[0] = oper;
    And in skeleton :
    static {
    org.apache.axis.description.OperationDesc _oper;
    org.apache.axis.description.FaultDesc _fault;
    org.apache.axis.description.ParameterDesc [] _params;
    _params = new org.apache.axis.description.ParameterDesc [] {
    new org.apache.axis.description.ParameterDesc(*new javax.xml.namespace.QName("", "p_request")*, org.apache.axis.description.ParameterDesc.IN, new javax.xml.namespace.QName("http://dtos.demo.com", "LoanDataPersistRequest"), com.demo.dtos.LoanDataPersistRequest.class, false, false),
    oper = new org.apache.axis.description.OperationDesc("storeLoanData", params, new javax.xml.namespace.QName("", "storeLoanDataReturn"));
    _oper.setReturnType(new javax.xml.namespace.QName("http://dtos.demo.com", "LoanDataPersistResponse"));
    _oper.setElementQName(new javax.xml.namespace.QName("urn:com.demo.service", "storeLoanData"));
    _oper.setSoapAction("");
    myOperationsList.add(oper);
    if (_myOperations.get("storeLoanData") == null) {
    _myOperations.put("storeLoanData", new java.util.ArrayList());
    ((java.util.List)_myOperations.get("storeLoanData")).add(_oper);
    PLease suggest if i make some changes in stub and skeleton how it would reflect the WSDL... or else please suggest where shud i do the required changes.

  • Deploy Endpoint Protection for 40+ laptops

    Hey there smart people!  I am in the process of bringing 40+ laptops out of workgroup mode onto the domain, and want to design a security solution for them other than named AV accounts.  I've worked with SC products before but in a Dev environment,
    not production.  I'm concerned with the cost of a full-blown system center deployment to manage 40+ roaming laptops and a dozen servers.
    Security Essentials, however, is not licensed for businesses with more than 10 machines, so I need to figure out the best way to manage these things.  Windows In-Tune has been brought up as a solution as well.
    If I go with a self-managed solution like SCCM Endpoint Production, what products do I need to license and manage?
    Thanks,
    Joe

    ConfigMgr is way too much for what you want. You can buy Intune licenses for $7/month per user. I have an Intune Guide here. You can see how easy it easy to deploy and manage.

    Requesting private help rather than having answers provided here is also very rude.

    You might take a look at the SOAPBuilders interop tests.
    See: http://www.whitemesa.com/r3/interop3.html and notice the DocLit

    Our endpoints are http://webservice.bea.com:7001 and the code for the

  • Problem with SunFileBinding configured with endpoints.xml

    Hello,
    I'm trying to confiugure the SunFileBinding using the endpoint.xml file. The idea is to pikcup a file from the filesystem and pass it to my engine.

    Hi,
    The FBC cannot recognize namespace prefixes defined inside the services element
    "<services binding-component = "true" xmlns:sns1="http://test.com/testseqeng/wsdl" >"
    so its not able to resolve sns1 and thats why you are getting the error message.
    Please add the namespace prefix sns1 to the root element (jbi) ,this should work
    e.g
    <jbi version = "1.0"
    xmlns = "http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/jbi"
    xmlns:sns1="http://test.com/testseqeng/wsdl"

  • SCCM 2012 Endpoint applies two policies "Default Policy & Custom policy" without using merge

    Hi All,
    Am facing an issue deploying endpoint policies @ the configuration manager, as for some device collection it applies the default policy without being deployed or merged with any other policy.
    below is snapshot from policies on SCCM & policies applied on one of the clients.
    Thanks

    That's default behavior. The default policy will always be aplied without the need to be specifically deployed. If you look at the applied settings you should see that the settings are merged were applicable. See for a nice explanation:

  • Noob - getting EP deployed

    Ok, I am new to SCCM 2012.  But I have a big book and a clean server so I installed sccm primarily to deploy endpoint protection.  I had made a test group and EP deployed to it, but I cannot seem to replicate that success on a larger scale to all
    my workstations.  I'm sure I am just missing a step given how much needs to be configured.
    Here is what I have done:
    In Assets and Compliance:
    I have created an antimalware policy
    I created a device collection called 'Company All Workstations'
    Properties of the collection 'company all workstations'
    Limiting collection is 'all systems'
    I created a maintenance window called 'late night'
    Uses 'Company Distribution Point Group'
    I have set the alerts to show stuff in the endpoint protection dashboard
    Finally, I have, successfully, deployed the SCCM client to these systems (at least according to the client column when viewing the members of the collection).
    In the Administration Section:
    the server is set to have all the various roles - endpoint protection, dist point, etc.
    There is one distribution point group called ' Company Distribution Point Group' and the collections tab shows the 'Company All Workstations' collection.  The Members tab shows the server.
    In the Software Library Section:
    I have one deployment package called 'Endpoint Protection Deployment Package' and the content location is set to the server as a distribution point
    I have one automatic deployment rule called 'Company Auto Deployment Rule for Endpoint Protection'
    this rule is applied to 'company all workstations' collection
    the deployment package is the 'Endpoint Protection Deployment Package'
    this rule is set to download:forefront client security OR Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010; superseded: no; will do updates, definitions, critical and a few other categories.
    the auto deployment rule has run with success.
    So, I have done all that, but when I go to my Monitoring | Endpoint protection - it says only one client has been deployed (the one I did my original test with).
    Does anyone see something obvious I am missing to get Endpoint Protection deployed and updated to my systems?
    Thanks!

    Did you configure a Client Settings policy (under Administration -> Client Settings) that enables the following settings under "Endpoint Protection"?
    - Manage Endpoint Protection client on client computers
    - Install Endpoint Protection on client computers
    This client settings policy must be deployed to the same systems that you want to install the EP client on.

  • Implementing a Webservice with AXIS, which calls CORBA objects

    Hi @all!
    First my aim is it to invoke a Webservice by a Client. As toolkit for developing this Webservice I use AXIS 1.0. This Webservice in turn should establish a CORBA connection to a third application.
    A direct access to the CORBA objects without the AXIS Webservice works fine. The Webservice without the Corba access is also running errorfree.
    When trying to implement a Webservice with AXIS, which calls CORBA objects following fault was generated:
    "internal Server Error(500)".
    Are there known problems with AXIS in conjunction with CORBA?

    Okay here's the error log file:
    1000 of lines, which aren't very helpful for me.
    As ORB I use JacORB.

    Yael, you have found there a great tutorial and I do not see you I could give you a more detailed approach than the one found in this "Axis Hello World Example".
    The only step I think is useless is the first one in the Eclipse walk through, for the rest, just follow the steps and you will end up with a running web service and a running client.
    I notice you have not followed the tutorial already: your project is named "axis" and not "axis-ws-service" or "axis-ws-client".
    Maybe start over and follow the steps this time?
