Azure Dedicated Role Cache does not fire notification to client when call DataCache.Clear method

Hi,
I'm using Azure Dedicated Role cache and Enabled the local cache and notification.
<localCache isEnabled="true" sync="NotificationBased" objectCount="20000" ttlValue="3600" />
<clientNotification pollInterval="1" maxQueueLength="10000" />
but when I call DataCache.Clear method in one client, the notification does not send to all clients, the client's local cached content still been used.
is this a bug of Azure SDK 2.5?

I assume that you have correctly configured and enabled Cache notifications, instead of using the DataCache's clear method - have you tried clearing all regions in your cache because I am not sure if DataCache.Clear triggers the cache notification or not.
so your code should look something like this

cache.ClearRegion(regionName)

Screen does not seem to reflect changes when called from main program.....

Hi all,
here's an issue that i've been trying to solve for a few days now,
i had created a screen in the screen painter, inside which i've included a table control (screen number 100: ).
i, then created a second screen pointing to the same program as screen 100 and assigned screen number 200 to it. so both scrn 100 and scrn 200 has got table controls and the validations occur in modules from the same program.
the issue i face is that, while any changes i make in screen 100 works fine when i call screen 100 from the main program; it does not work when i try to modify the table control in screen 200. for example, if i were to add a new column, it messes up the allignment of the other columns in screen 200, i can't seem to assign fixed colums, etc....
has anyone come across similar issues? if so how can i solve it? could it be an error with the SAP GUI?
any response will be appreciated. points will be rewarded as well... if that's how things work here.

Hi David,
The description of the problem is not so clear.
Let me know where I'm wrong, you have 2 screens and 2 different tablecontrols ? When you do any changes from the sapgui to the screen 100 there is no problem. But when you do that to the screen 200 is messes up ?
My logic with table controls
if you want 2 screens to share the same control then add the control to a subscreen
when you want to have 2 screens with 2 differents controls :
in main program
CONTROLS : tc_100 type TABLEVIEW USING SCREEN 100.
CONTROLS : tc_200 type TABLEVIEW USING SCREEN 200.
In screen 100 / 200 assure the name of the controls are tc_100 / tc_200....
Using this method I never have any problem....

Keynote presentation does not automatically play upon open when called from another keynote presentation

I have a master keynote presentation that hyperlinks to other keynote presentations. The called keynote presentations open, but do not automatically play even though I have marked them to automatically play upon open. What am I doing incorrectly?

Automatically Play on open, has the same function as pressing the play button in the tool bar.
Once the presentation is playing, it will move to the next slide depending on
how you have set the options in:
Inspector > Document > Presentation
the choices to advance to the next slide are:
normal           - requires a keyboard press or a muse click to advance
Hyperlink       - requires the mouse to click on an object with a hyperlink
Recorded      - plays back using the recorded narration sound track
Self-playing   - will advance according to the options in the delay times set in
Inspector > Document > Presentation

Azure In Role Caching Doesn't start on server with "Not running in a hosted service or the Development Fabric."

I started to use Azure in-role caching and everything works great in Azure compute emulator on my local machine, but not on server. I've already dealed with some problems, like lack of msshrtmi.dll on server, but now can't understand why get this error:

All I found about this error is that it occurs if you start local Azure compute emulator with in-role caching and without administrative rights. But in emulator everything works fine and problem occurs only after I publish to staging environment. (if switch
to production, error remains).
I use cache for resolving routes like /username and /countryname etc. So available usernames and country names will be cached and updated on changes in database. I have static class with static DataCache object which is created on first request to cache. But
even home page doesn't start so error occurs before I try to create cache object.

Hi Jambor, I don't have reference errors. I had them before but already fixed with copy local = true for few references.
I receive error only on azure host service. In local everything works great, app starts, cache works and I can see data in cache. Yes, in local mode cloud project is set as startup and VS runs as administrator.
I've added TraceListener creating code you suggested:

Err while confrm Business partner does not exist (Notification E R1 201)

I am for the first time into CRM serv implementation.I have 2 issues. Please provide your valuable suggestions at the earliest.
I raised a serv order, released items, confirmed it and changed the status to complete. now when i try to raise an invoice, in billing due list, serv order num is showin up but not confirmation number. Billing relevance in item category for
service item in Serv order ---> Order related billing acc to order quantity
confirmation item category--> Transaction related billing after completion.
The reason i expect is that i have used a crm employee as employee responsible as HR is not yet in place. At the time of confirmation and data transfer to r/3 system is throwing a message that BP doesnot exist. Long text is as follows
"Business partner does not exist (Notification E R1 201)"
I am unable to trace out which BP is it unable to find. The Sold to i am using is on the other hand available in R/3.
1) Is service confirmation incomplete and hence is not appearing in Billing due list or is there any other reason?
2) How can i analyse which BP number is not avilable. i.e.. how can i check the contents of bdoc system is sending and because of which value of BP is the transfer getting stopped

ON-LOGON does not fire in Form B, called from Form A

We have a situation like this. We are using Forms (Forms [32 Bit] Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production)).
We migrated this application to Forms 11.2.0.1.0. Problem is that the ON-LOGON trigger does not fire in the 2nd level forms. Our application work like this.
(a.) User double-clicks URL icon.
(b.) Form A is opened without asking for un/pwd. We put a NULL; in the ON-LOGON of A.fmb.
(c.) This is the main form of the application. This has a canvas with 6 buttons. Each button will launch it's own separate application with it's own menu.
(d.) Now user presses button in A. This launches Form B. We use
Run_Product(FORMS, 'B', SYNCHRONOUS, RUNTIME,FILESYSTEM, pl_id, NULL); (e.) Now, in Form B, in the ON-LOGON trigger we have put code to show the logon screen and login to the DB.
Problem is, this works in 10g Forms. But we had to replace the RUN_PRODUCT with a CALL_FORM after migrating to 11g since RUN_PRODUCT is not supported in 11g.
Problem is that when you use CALL_FORM to call Form B, the ON-LOGON of the Form B does not fire. We tried OPEN_FORM and NEW_FORM with different parameters, but the behavior is the same. i.e. ON-LOGON does not fire.
What is the solution or workaround for this please.

i have 3 input texts: MY_peerIDText, txtSendData, txtReceiveData
When i press connectToStratusBTN i get ID after than i open another
browser window with the same swf and paste this ID into MY_peerIDText
After connection i press initSendStreamBTN in first swf (it is 1st browser page)
and i press initReceiveStreamBTN in 2nd swf
After that iwrite down some text in txtSendData TextField (in 1st browser page) and press sendDataBTN

this function doesn't work correctly:

because you send not String, but link to the txtSendData.text, which is empty in another peer.
So, solution is following (not the one, but for example):

Message R1206 BP Role FS0000 does not exist

Hi team support,
I have an error when I try to assign a new role to the BP, the system display the Message R1206 BP Role FS0000 does not exist. Then press enter and the message is error in conversion customizing for adress type. I have applied the note 584871 but I get the same error.
We are release 600 support package level 7. I 'm looking for a note oss to fix it.

Hi Paula,
It is quite late (and my experience relates to another module), but this may still help somebody:
I got the same eror (R1206) in Flexible Real Estate for role TR0600. To resolve it, I had to go to SPRO -> Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) -> Business Partner -> Relevant settings for business partner in RE context -> Business partner roles -> Define BP roles (view V_TB003). Here I chose the required role and unticked "Hide" (V_TB003-XSUPPRESS). After that, the message disappered.
You may need to find a similar setting in your module and also untick "Hide" - this may resolve your issue as well. Try that.

BP role UDM000 does not exist Message no. R1206

Hi Team,
I have created New BP role ZUDM0PY by copy of standard UDM000. Everything is working well , when I choose "Display BP" in Worklist   system throws error "BP role UDM000 does not exist Message no. R1206"
My doubt is if i am using BP role ZUDM0PY not UDM000 then why system throwing error for BP role UDM000? and what will be the solution.

I don't know why but 'Display Business partner' icon can shows only 'UDM000' now.
Please refer SAP Function UDM_WORKLIST_BUS_PARTNER_SHOW specified only 'UDM000' as follows.
*Prepare the parameters for displaying Bus Partner details
   SET PARAMETER ID 'BPO' FIELD 'UDM000'.
   SET PARAMETER ID 'BPOG' FIELD 'UDM000'.
   swc_create_object handle 'BUS1006' l_bpartnerid.
   swc_call_method handle 'DISPLAY' container.
No confidence but Is BP Role Cat. in configuration 'Define BP Roles' should be 'UDM000' ???

ARQ: Role Import does not show roles in the preview

Dear All,
Recently I upgraded our system to SP#14. Now when I try to import roles from NWBC->AM->Role Mass Maintenance->Role Import, it does not show roles in preview. Also, it does not import the roles specified. (either a range or full name of the role). It does not even give any error message.
I implemented SAP note#1897975 Role import does not show roles in the preview.
Still facing the same problem. Has any one faced this problem? Please suggest.

This note(1897975) you have to implement in Plug-in System, try to check the same once and let me know if it resolves our issue.

Reset does not fire NavigationEvent - is this intended behaviour?

Hi
I realized that the ViewObject.reset() method does not fire a NavigationEvent. I think that resetting a current row is some sort of navigation which has some effekt on dependent objects (eg. detail views will be cleared). So I'd have expected that reset() should file a NavigationEvent.
Can anyone explain me: Is this intended behaviour? Why?

Accordion load event does not fire when accordion and load event created dynamically using actionsript

I cannot get the accordion load event to fire when I have
created the accordion and load event using actionscript . Here is
some sample code:

I made sure to add the ScrollPane and Accordion components
to my library. So the load event does not fire, but the change
event does fire. And through further testing the other events do
not fire, including the draw event. Can anyone help? The only time
I can get the load event to fire on an accordion is if I put an
accordion on stage, select it and add the actionscript to the
objects actions like shown below:

trace("draw");
Can somebody help? Unfortunately I must create all my
components dynamically. Thank you in advance.

I'm having this issue also...but only apparently with Internet Explorer and only on some machines...ideas?

in the audit-vault-admin guide 10.3, step 2.3.1 - 8:
If you plan to add the REDO collect to your source database, then grant the Oracle source database user account the DV_STREAMS_ADMIN role.
The DV_STREAMS_ADMIN role enables the management of Oracle Streams processes to be tightly controlled by Database Vault, but does not change or restrict the way an administrator would normally configure Oracle Streams.
For example:
SQL> GRANT DV_SECANALYST TO srcuser_ora;
I got this error when grant that role to srcuser:
SQL> grant DV_STREAMS_ADMIN to srcuser1;
grant DV_STREAMS_ADMIN to srcuser1
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01919: role 'DV_STREAMS_ADMIN' does not exist

You can raise an SR with Oracle for a documentation change.
If the source database has Oracle Database Vault installed, then log in as a user who has been granted the DV_OWNER (Database Vault Owner) role and add the source database user to the Oracle Data Dictionary realm.

- RedHat Enterprise Linux AS Update 4
- Oracle DB EE 10.2.0.1.0
- OHS 10.1.2.0.0 (Standalone Companion CD)
* No errors with any of the installs. All working order.
Application Express 2.2 installation:
When I ran apexins.sql and passed the following six arguments in the order shown:
@apexins password adde addeData TEMP /i/ NONE
I noticed the following set of errors in the error logs:
grant connect, resource to flows_files
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01917: user or role 'FLOWS_FILES' does not exist
... and it goes on and on about the user/role.
After post installation tasks have been completed, visits to
http://hostname.domain:port/pls/apex
result in the following error being displayed:
wwv_flow.app_not_found_footer_err
wwv_flow.err wwv_flow.app_not_found_err

http://hostname.domain:port/pls/apex/apex
Any ideas or suggestions? I am afraid I have a necessary database account locked, the documentation is off, or I have misconfigured a necessary step.

You should also double check that the tablespace named addeData actually exists in your database. If it does not, the FLOWS_FILES user will not be created, and that will result in a failed installation.

DidSelectRowAtIndexPath does not fire in SDK 3.0

Hi everyone!
I have iPhone application that works well in SDK 2.2.1 But in SDK 3.0 event didSelectRowAtIndexPath (as well as willSelectRowAtIndexPath) in MyTableViewController does not fire.
I've downloaded "TheElements" sample application and it works fine on 3.0. I figured out that there is a difference in UITableViewCell initialization. So I removed old initWithFrame method and created new one initWithStyle. But no luck. I put breakpoint inside didSelectRowAtIndexPath event but debugger does not stop there.
What other changes should I make to fire didSelectRowAtIndexPath event?
Any help will be appreciated.

I still think something about the responder chain must have changed in 3.0, but it seems like one or both of the above methods should still work. If neither of them gets the touches where they need to go, maybe nextResponder isn't the same as superview(?). In that case you might try this:

[[self nextResponder] touchesBegan:touches withEvent:event]; //<-- pass to next responder
// add extra sanity check
